1. i only have a 6 (or less) hours stopover, can i still visit the red square.

It strongly depends on the day of the week and time. If your 6 hours layover is at night - we can do it, but at day time we strongly advise against it, as you won't have enough time to enjoy the tour and be on-time back for your return flight. After all, we don't want you to miss your return flight.

2. The quoted price is per person?

The fares for our layover tour mentioned above are per vehicle, so it doesn't matter if you are a party of 2 or 3 (or 7) passengers, the fare stays the same.

3. Do I need a visa?

Almost certainly: Yes! In general, most Western citizen (e.g. European Union, UK, USA, Canada) need to obtain at least a transit or tourist visa in advance to enter the territory of the Russian Federation. If you're not sure if you need a visa, have a look at the Visa policy of Russia map or contact your local travel agency.

Are you a student or a teacher? BattleKart is offering a 30% discount on the price of your games upon presentation of your student card (ISIC or European Youth Card ) or, for teachers, your Teacher Card. 

• The discount applies without time restriction, but only to games for which the cardholder has registered without a reservation; e.g. only if the cardholder registers on the website no more than 20 minutes before the start of the game;
• The discount of -30% applies to all formulas and cannot be cumulated with other promotions;
• The discount applies only to the player holding the card, not to the other players registered for the game;
• To take advantage of it, the cardholder will spontaneously present their student/teacher card and an ID card at the BattleKart reception desk. Once your student card is registered in our system, you will not need to present it again until its expiry date.  
• Only original cards ( International Student Identity Card ,  European Youth Card  and  Teacher Cards ) and other cards issued by the educational institution will be accepted.

You have a handicap and you can show a card that attests to a recognition by the competent public authority ? Under certain conditions ( read our conditions of access ), BattleKart is an activity open to certain categories of people with a disability. In this case, we offer you a 30% discount on the price of your games upon presentation of your card at the reception.

• The discount applies after validation by our team of full compliance with the access and safety conditions.
• The -30% discount applies to all formulas and cannot be combined with other promotions (except Replay and Re-Replay rates);
• To take advantage of it, the cardholder will spontaneously present their card and an ID card at the BattleKart reception desk.
• Only the original versions of the parking cards (France and Belgium), ‘Mobilité Inclusion’ cards (France), or ‘EU Disability Card’ (European model) will be accepted.

Good to know, the complex.

The BattleKart complex (Tour & Taxis) welcomes you to an area of 2.000m², with one tracks and the possibility of 12 karts playing simultaneously.

Our raised central bar offers spectators a breathtaking view of the games played on the track, with free Wifi access. 

As the complex is accessible by stairs, it is unfortunately not easily accessible for PRMs. The activity may be accessible under certain conditions, so please take note before booking your game.

We are no longer able to accept cash payments. However, you can always pay for your drinks and games by card (Bancontact, Visa, Mastercard, French credit cards, etc.).

Stag Do’s and Hen Nights - Birthdays

For all the SD’s and HN’s and birthdays you’d like to organize at BattleKart, we offer a formula that rewards your loyalty: just turn up at reception with the groom or groom-to-be or the person you’re organizing the party for, and he or she will receive a pass equivalent to the race formula already played. And don’t forget to take a souvenir photo on the podium! You can also bring and consume items that do not come from our establishment and that we do not sell, for a table fee of €5. (Cake, pizza, etc…)

And don’t forget: a mask or cape just won’t do…

Tip: reserve your games!

To make sure you can play at the time you want, we advise you to book your games well in advance on our site! Games are not privatized until the maximum number of players has been reached: your group, especially if it’s small, can be joined by other players who have registered for your game!

Friday evenings, Saturdays, Sundays and school holidays are the periods when BattleKart has the highest attendance, and therefore  reservation  is imperative, sometimes 2 to 3 weeks in advance. Don’t hesitate to come between Tuesday and Thursday!

Travel By Car

We have directions from five nearby cities to The Renaissance Club which can help you whether you plan on travelling by car or public transport.

Spectators should follow the yellow AA event signage which will direct you to the public car park. 

There will be no access to The Renaissance Club for spectators’ vehicles, except those with valid car park labels.

Travel By Train & Free Public Shuttle

Spectators travelling by train should stop at the Longniddry Rail Station. All ticket holders will be able to use the free bus service, which will drop you off at the entrance to the Genesis Scottish Open. Shuttles will meet each train at Longniddry travelling both from Edinburgh and to Edinburgh.

Accessibility Information

There will be dedicated disabled spaces on site for spectators whose vehicles display a blue badge. The disabled car park is situated in Car Park 2. Wheelchair users will need to contact [email protected] in order to make arrangements in advance and gain admission to the site.

Spectators wanting to rent an electric scooter will be able to do so at the Event Mobility tent located in the village. Event Mobility is a charity and kindly asks for a donation of £35 for using electric scooters and £15 for the manual wheelchairs. These can be pre-booked on their website with the link here .

Spectators can also pick them up on the day and these are available on a first come first served basis.

Buc Days 2024: Your guide to the rodeo, carnival, concerts and more

Buc Days starts in a few days, arrrr you ready?

The annual festivities will take place Thursday, May 2 through Sunday, May 12, featuring a rodeo, live music, a carnival, parades, food and more.

Tickets may be purchased online at  bucdays.com  or at the festival.

Dunking of Mayor Paulette Guajardo

Since at least 1955, Corpus Christi mayors have had to "walk the plank" to kick start Buc Days.

Corpus Christi Mayor Paulette M. Guajardo has the honor of jumping into the Corpus Christi Bay once again this year.

The annual Dunking of the Mayor will start at 5 p.m. Thursday, May 2, where you can watch from the seawall on Shoreline Boulevard.

For its second year, the Buc Days 5K returns with runners jogging along Shoreline Boulevard Saturday, May 11.

The 3.1-mile course starts at 8 a.m. and will start and end on Buc Days Festival Grounds at the American Bank Center.

Register at bucdays.com/attractions/buc-days-5k by Tuesday, April 30 to secure a finisher medal and T-shirt.

Parades and Stadium Show

After 14 years, the Stadium Show at Buc Stadium returns as a tradition to Buc Days.

At 7 p.m. Saturday, May 4, attendees will be able to enjoy a panoramic view of the parade from seats in the stands. Tickets are $10 per person, with children 3 and under free but they must sit on a lap. Reserved seating will require all ages a ticket and tickets are $15 per person.

As well, the Buc Days Rally Night Parade is set to return to the Leopard Street route this year immediately after the Stadium Show around 8 p.m.

The Driscoll Children's Parade will take place down Shoreline Boulevard and will feature local schools and youth organizations. It will start at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 11.

Carnival and Treasure Island

During the entire length of Buc Days, the Stripes Carnival will be open.

Attendees must be at least 36 inches tall to ride most of the rides. Carnival rides accept tickets or the $25 presale All-You-Can-Ride wristband.

Along with the carnival, Buc Days will have Treasure Island — an attraction filled with local vendors, racing pigs, a petting zoo, pony rides, concession areas and more.

Rodeo Corpus Christi

Rodeo Corpus Christi, presented by Miller Lite, will take place at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, through Sunday, May 11, at the American Bank Center Arena.

The rodeo will include saddle bronc riding, barrel racing and more.

Tickets range from $22.50 to $77.50 and can be purchased at  ticketmaster.com  or at the American Bank Center Box Office. Tickets also include the scheduled Rodeo Concert after the dust settles.

Rodeo Concert Series and other live music

The five entertainers taking the stage are musician William Beckmann, rock star Bret Michaels, musical group La Mafia, country singer Aaron Watson and artist Josh Turner.

The musicians will come on after Rodeo Corpus Christi is over and the stage is set, so roughly about 30 minutes to an hour.

As well, local artists will serenade crowds at the Buckin' Marlin Stage in the Stripes Carnival and Beer and Wine Garden Stage at the American Bank Center Plaza.

PBR Pendelton Whisky Velocity Tour

The Professional Bull Riders Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour is the top expansion series of the PBR.

The tour will feature some of the best athletes of the sport going head-to-head with the fiercest bulls in the country. It will bring all the high-energy sound, lighting, special effects and edge-of-your-seat action that fans have come to expect from the sport of bull riding.

The PBR Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour will hold its finals at 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 3 and Saturday, May 4. Tickets start at $17.50 and can be purchased online at  ticketmaster.com  or at the American Bank Center Arena Box Office.

You can pay $15 at any of the multiple parking lots near the American Bank Center or pay the same amount at Whataburger Field, then hop on one of the free Corpus Christi Regional Transportation Authority shuttles to be dropped off at the festival grounds.

The shuttle's schedule is 5 p.m. to midnight May 2, May 3 and May 8 through May 10; and noon to midnight May 4, May 5, May 11 and May 12.

All bags will be checked at public gates into the festival grounds and inside the American Bank Center.

Bags, briefcases, strollers and backpacks are subject to search and seizure at festival gates.

Any bags larger than a clutch bag will need to be cleared at the arena. Bags no larger than 12 by 12 by 6 inches will be permitted inside. The American Bank Center allows each member of the party, including children, to bring in a large clear Ziploc bag of their belongings. Guests who have bags larger than this size will be asked to return them to their vehicles.
