Pentatonix Announce 2023 North American Leg Of “The World Tour”

The a cappella group honored with hollywood walk of fame star today  , general ticket on sale begins monday, february 27 at 10 am local on ticketmaster.com  .

Fresh off of Hollywood Boulevard where a cappella group Pentatonix received a Hollywood Walk of Fame star, the three-time Grammy-winning quintet announced that they will be embarking on a North American Tour with very special guest Lauren Alaina. Produced by Live Nation, the 24-city tour kicks off on Wednesday, August 9th at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville making stops across North America in Toronto, Chicago, Dallas, Irvine and more.  

Today’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame is especially significant for Pentatonix as they are the first A Cappella group to receive such honor. Since emerging in 2011, Pentatonix have become the most innovative, inventive, and inimitable vocal groups of all time, and have released a number of successful albums, earning nominations for Grammys, Emmys, and Billboard Music Awards along the way. The group recently finished their most successful Christmas tour ever, playing to 200,000+ people across 22 cities and has tour dates this spring and summer across the globe in Singapore, Japan, Australia and Europe.

Pentatonix Kicks off the Holiday Season Tonight With Their Largest U.S. Arena Tour and Biggest Show Yet

Fresh off the release of their sixth holiday album, Holidays Around The World, Pentatonix is spreading the holiday cheer live and in person as they kick off their Pentatonix: A Christmas Spectacular! 2022 Tour TODAY. Performing songs off of their newest album, Holidays Around The World, available to stream here via RCA Records , as well of some familiar classics, the three-time GRAMMY® Award-winning and Daytime EMMY® Award-nominated vocal quintet will be making stops across North America this holiday season.

The tour, Pentatonix: A Christmas Spectacular!, is large-scale multi-city outing with Pentatonix headlining 22 of North America's top arenas. They will visit major markets throughout the continent, promising to be their biggest shows yet! Season 21 winners of The Voice, Girl Named Tom, will open the night as the tour's special guests.

Regarding the tour and the album, Scott Hoying of Pentatonix commented, "The holidays have taken on a new meaning for all of us over the past couple of years. We cherish this time of year more than ever. However, we wanted to spread this message as far as possible. That's why we decided to bridge the gap between cultures and genres in a way we never have before. Now, we can't wait to see all of you on the road."

Reaching fans everywhere, Pentatonix will also premiere their fifth holiday special, Pentatonix: Around the World for the Holidays, streaming exclusively on Disney+ later starting on December 2nd. The group previously attracted 26 million viewers during their previous nationally televised programs.

Now, they're back on the screen in this groundbreaking cinematic music experience. The special utilizes pioneering XR and AR Visual Technologies to tell a different holiday tale highlighted by a heartfelt script, riveting acting, and, of course, heavenly performances.

It’s almost the hap-hap-happiest time of the year.

And to ring in the holiday season extra early, Pentatonix has announced their 2023 ‘The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year Tour.’

Starting Nov. 14 and running up until Dec. 21, the famed a cappella group will hit venues all over North America in support of their upcoming record ‘The Greatest Christmas Hits’ which features 23 holiday favorites along with eight new songs.

That’s not all though for the tireless quintet — they’re also currently on their ‘World Tour’ with special guest Lauren Alaina.

Midway through that summer run of concerts, Pentatonix is scheduled to drop into Saratoga Springs’ Saratoga Performing Arts Center on Wednesday, Aug. 23 and Syracuse’s St. Josephs Health Amphitheater on Aug. 24.

A cappella group Pentatonix has announced an extensive North American tour produced by Live Nation. The three-time Grammy-winning group will make 45 stops throughout the US and Canada between May 11 and Sept. 1, including multiple festivals and fairs.

The world tour will kick off at Oracle Arena in Oakland, Calif., and hit arenas in major cities, including Denver, New York, Montreal, Nashville and Las Vegas.

The group took to social media with a video announcing the world tour, specifically cutting out references to stops outside North America. Additional cities, countries and continents for Pentatonix’s World Tour will be announced soon.

All 2019 tour dates will feature support from special guest Rachel Platten. The “Fight Song” singer won a Daytime Emmy for her outstanding musical performance on Good Morning America in 2016.

Pentatonix's Scott Hoying On the Band's 'Hallelujah' Cover, Christmas Traditions

The tour announcement follows multiple 2018 album releases. In addition to their Christmas Is Here! holiday album, the group released their PTX: Presents: Top Pop, Vol. 1 album in April of 2018.

Tickets will be available for the general public on Friday, Feb. 15 at noon local time at   www.ptxofficial.com .

Fresh off the release of their sixth holiday album, Holidays Around The World, Pentatonix is spreading the holiday cheer live and in person as they kick off their Pentatonix: A Christmas Spectacular! 2022 Tour TODAY. Tickets are available for the 22-date arena tour, Pentatonix: A Christmas Spectacular!,  HERE .

Performing songs off of their newest album, Holidays Around The World, available to stream  HERE  via RCA Records, as well of some familiar classics, the three-time GRAMMY® Award-winning and Daytime EMMY® Award-nominated vocal quintet will be making stops across North America this holiday season.

The tour, Pentatonix: A Christmas Spectacular!, is large-scale multi-city outing with Pentatonix headlining 22 of North America’s top arenas. They will visit major markets throughout the continent, promising to be their biggest shows yet! Season 21 winners of The Voice, Girl Named Tom, will open the night as the tour’s special guests.

Pentatonix Announce 2022 Christmas Spectacular Tour

Pentatonix are going on “A Christmas Spectacular Tour,” the quintet’s 2022 production that will also serve as the debut for their latest album, Holidays Around the World . The album will be released on October 28th, only weeks before the 22-date arena trek kicks off.

Founding member Scott Hoying commented on the tour saying, 

“The holidays have taken on a new meaning for all of us over the past couple of years. We cherish this time of year more than ever. However, we wanted to spread this message as far as possible. That’s why we decided to bridge the gap between cultures and genres in a way we never have before.”

“A Christmas Spectacular Tour” begins in Oakland on November 17th. The group spends the first few days in Utah and Colorado before going south to Fort Worth, Texas, Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Lincoln, Nebraska. They cover the Midwest from Sioux Falls, South Dakota to Green Bay, Wisconsin, then open in December in Illinois, Kentucky, and Indiana.

They’ll play Memphis on December 10th, Nashville on December 11th, and two shows in Florida between Jacksonville and Hollywood. After hitting up the East Coast via North Carolina and Virginia, Pentatonix stops in Hershey, Pennsylvania on December 20th and wraps up on December 22nd at Connecticut’s Mohegan Sun Arena.

The acapella quintet will be joined on their “Christmas Spectacular Tour” by sibling trio and winners of The Voice Season 21, Girl Named Tom.

Three-time Grammy Award-winning and multi-platinum selling group Pentatonix is bringing the holiday spirit to Mohegan Sun Arena on Saturday, December 4th, 2021. Pentatonix: The Evergreen Christmas Tour 2021, celebrates the quintet’s, pop-style Capella group, sixth holiday-themed album, Evergreen, which will be released on October 29th. Grab your tickets now and for a Christmas, holiday season that has absolutely got to be better than last year's dumpster fire! Pentatonix has sold more than 10 million albums worldwide and performed for hundreds of thousands of fans at their sold-out shows across the globe, and their YouTube channel boasts over 19 million subscribers!

Pentatonix are a pop-style Capella group from Arlington, Texas, consisting of vocalists Scott Hoying, Mitch Grassi, Kirstin Maldonado, Kevin Olusola, and Matt Sallee. The group formed after taking part and winning the third season of NBC's, The Sing-Off, in 2011 and received $200,000 and a recording contract with Sony Music.

Their debut EP PTX, Volume 1, released in 2012, followed by their holiday release, PTXmas, the same year, with Pentatonix's third release, PTX, Vol. II, debuting at number 1 on Billboard's Independent Albums chart and number 10 on the Billboard 200 in 2013. Their second holiday release, That's Christmas to Me, became the highest-charting holiday album by a group since 1962, and the fourth-best-selling album in the United States in 2014. In total, Pentatonix has released nine studio albums, six EPs, eighteen singles and fifty music videos. The Lucky Ones, is their latest album containing all original material, succeeding their 2015 self-titled album.

The band have won 3 Grammy Awards for their songs, "Daft Punk", "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy", and "Jolene" which featured Dolly Parton. As well as 1 Streamy Award, 2 YouTube Music Awards, and a Shorty Award.
