TERMS & CONDITIONS

CANVALODGE is not a retail outlet but a manufacturer and thus do not carry stock of all the products. We specialize in larger order quantities but also sell directly to the public with a lead time of 15-17 working days from receipt of a 70% deposit. Date of delivery is normally based on workload at the factory at the time of order.

Bushtec Safari began manufacturing luxury tents under the Canvas and Tent brand. But with the continued expansion of the business, a dedication to innovation and leading the market, we made a strategic decision to diversify and created the Bushtec Safari brand.

Our initial product offering was the Meru range of tents. A standard design allowing little room for customisation, we recognised a need for bigger variety and more options. As a result our team took risks and began designing tents ahead of their time.

This inspired us to take part in the yearly Tourism Indaba. Each year we push the boundaries of good design in canvas and create something new, beautiful, functional and trendy.

All safari tents supplied by Tentickle are designed and manufactured to be 100% bug-free, waterproof, UV-resistant, flame-retardant and are treated with a long-life anti-fungal treatment.

Tentickle’s luxury safari tents are engineered for strength and stability – constructed using high-quality materials and manufactured according to strict quality standards to withstand nature’s elements. The safari tent frames are made from superior grade polyester composite. The mosquito mesh is made from durable rubber-coated nylon, providing ventilation while keeping your tent bug-free. The optional double roofing protects the safari tents’ stretch tent roof from UV rays as well as tree or bird droppings, extending the lifetime of the tent fabric. The safari tents range uses only heavy-duty industrial zips and velcro to ensure longevity and durability.

Design & Installation

We design the pole-roof structure with its durable 500gsm Ripstop canvas roof and 93% UV block shadenet, the neat and easy maintanable soft walls and all canvas finishes to our client’ specifications.

Turnkey Solutions

For the completion of the project, our team of contractors enable us to deliver a finished product with deck, doors, electricity, plumming and whatever else our client may desire in terms of furnishing, airconditioning and the like. This is called Turnkey Solutions and it means that our clients don’t have to find the necessary contractors themselves to finish the project, but that we do it for them. When all is done, they only need to turn the key to their enchanting sanctuary.

• The pole-structured roof is covered with thick durable 500gsm Ripstop canvas, above the roof canvas, a 93% UV block shade net which will keep the inside cool during daytime and warm at night.
• Canvas (soft walling) stretched between poles and fastened with galvanized flatbar are not subject to the whims of the wind and creates a feeling of neatness and space.
• This tent’s construction makes maintenance easy and inexpensive, replacing only the areas where damage may have occurred over time.You also have the flexibility to add or remove panels as needed, enabling the creation of various configurations or adjustments to the tent layout.
• The inside closures of the windows provides the option of degrees of openness, giving the desired privacy without losing too much daylight and the soft wall canvas divides the units into bathroom and rooms depending on the chosen size.
• To stay in sync with the quality of the canvas and shade net, the poles, detachable fasteners and steel are all from the highest quality raw materials because we want you to have many years of enjoyment in these permanent outdoor Luxury Safari Tents.
• All the wood we use are CCA Treated – SABS approved.

Bow Tents Commenced operations in 2008 with its principal business being the manufacturing, wholesaling and retailing of tents.

The production team at Bow Tents boasts extensive experience in the design and manufacture of all types of tents from traditional peg and pole tents to highly customized Aluminum frame tents.

At present the facility possesses the capacity to produce in excess of 6000 tents per month and plans are in place to increase capacity in line with growing demand for our products.

SAFARI TENTS

Have you ever slept under canvas in the African bush? Well there truly is nothing like it! The sounds of the night are closer, the smells of nature are stronger, and the feeling of actually being in the bush is so much more intense.

LUXURY SAFARI TENTS

Our luxury, African-styled safari tents are nestled in between Marula, Knobthorn, Acacia and Sausage Trees and overlook a dry river bed, the bush and the majestic Northern Drakensberg Mountains. They are built in an elevated position each with its own special view.

The tents are comfortably furnished and feature an ensuite bathroom with a bath and an outdoor shower. They are fitted with eco air conditioners ensuring that you stay cool on hot summer nights… and can be used as a heater during the colder nights in winter.

Each tent has its own private deck with wonderful views of the mountains and the African bush.

Insect gauze on all the windows and doors keep the insects outside where they belong.
