It was hot when we were there, but they always provide coconut juice to cooling us down wherever we arrived. Some locals may have whole families working for coconuts.

We visited the houses of the locals and took a boat. The river was quiet and comfortable.

The food at the B&B was delicious and the host was very friendly.

My three friends and I recently went on a long tour and we were highly satisfied with how the tour was handled. There were no glitches or problems throughout the entire trip. Upon arriving at each destination, our guide and driver were already waiting for us outside the arrival area. The hotel choices were excellent and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast every morning. The guides were helpful and knowledgeable about the places we visited. Additionally, most of our lunches were included, allowing us to savor the cuisine of each country. We would like to express our gratitude to Eliese for organizing and facilitating the itinerary for each country we visited. We wholeheartedly recommend "Autour Asia" to our friends!

I had a delightful meeting with Mrs. Laura and her mother from Switzerland at Autour Asia in Hanoi, which made for a great start to my new work week. Overall, we had a fantastic holiday and would love to return. The guides were knowledgeable and provided us with valuable information. However, our only observation is that they seemed to have difficulty engaging in conversation. We understand that this could be attributed to the complexity of the English language and translation.

Moreover, Ms. Oanh recommended that we visit the remarkable government cruise boat in Da Nang, known as the Dragon Cruise (or something similar), which was docked along the river, opposite the Cham Museum, on Sunday. We had the opportunity to enjoy a delightful dinner on the cruise and witness the mesmerizing fire and water show on the Dragon Bridge. It was an absolutely fantastic experience. Once again, thank you for everything.

Hanoi (VNA) – The Vietnam International Travel Mart (VITM) 2024 themed “Vietnam Tourism – Green Transition for Sustainable Development” kicked off in Hanoi on April 11, attracting 700 enterprises across the country and 16 foreign countries and territories.

The four-day event sees more than 450 booths and expects the visits by about 3,500 Vietnamese and international enterprises.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ho An Phong said this year’s theme represents tourism development tendency in the future. It has created a professional playground for tourism businesses and localities, promoting tourism and many other economic sectors to develop together.

He said VITM Hanoi 2024 will contribute to stimulating domestic tourism demand, creating good opportunities to popularise products and services, link tourism development between regions, and achieve high efficiency in both business and promotion of destinations and tourism products. Visitors to the event can enjoy experiences with promotional tours, discounted air tickets, cheap hotel rooms and One Commune - One Product (OCOP) products from localities across Vietnam.

Within the framework of VITM 2024, a forum entitled "Vietnam Tourism - Green Transition for Sustainable Development" will be held on April 12, seeking green transformation solutions for Vietnamese tourism .

Tourism businesses, local authorities, and tourists are called on to pay more attention to environmental protection through specific activities.

The fair focuses on activities to contribute to turning tourism into a green economic sector, based on building green destinations and green products, and developing human resources with proper knowledge of green tourism, thus enhancing the image of Vietnamese tourism./.

HANOI: A range of enticing travel destinations highlighting Malaysia's strengths in eco-tourism are being introduced at the Vietnam International Travel Mart (VITM) 2024 held in Hanoi from April 11 to 14.

With the theme of “Tourism - Green for Sustainable Development,” the event is taking place at the International Center for Exhibition (ICE), emphasising responsible tourism associated with environmental protection for sustainable development.

In line with this theme, the Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board (Tourism Malaysia) in Vietnam has cooperated with the Embassy of Malaysia in Hanoi, the Ministry of Tourism, Creative Industry & Performing Arts (MTCP) Sarawak, Batik Air, National Association of Private Educational Institutions of Malaysia (Napei), Resorts World Genting, ibis Kuala Lumpur City Centre and Columbia Leisure to participate in the event.

Tourism Malaysia’s booth is located at C10-13 at the event and introduces the unique destinations, diverse cultures, and unique natural wonders of Malaysia.

During the four-day event, colourful Malaysia is unveiled through performances of Sarawak Cultural Dance and Sape Performance, fun quiz activities, and Teh Tarik Tea Pulling Art by a Malaysian artisan.

Visitors can experience unique cultural performances of Malaysian culture, taste flavourful cuisine, and participate in activities to learn more about the colorful country.

Nor Hayati Zainuddin, director of Tourism Malaysia in Vietnam, said VITM 2024 presents a valuable opportunity to promote Malaysia's rich cultural and ecological tourism offerings.

Tourism Malaysia also shares updates on the latest tourism products and destinations, including Sarawak.

Sarawak is the largest state of Malaysia, located on the island of Borneo, also known as the "Land of the Hornbills." These endangered birds are important cultural symbols for the Dayak people.

On April 10, Tourism Malaysia in collaboration with VITM Hanoi 2024 organised the Malaysia Tourism seminar and product updates at the Lotte Hotel Hanoi.

The seminar provided useful information on edu-tourism, foreigner residency schemes, airline promotions, and prominent tourist destinations in Malaysia to travel agencies and media in Hanoi.

Malaysia expects to welcome 27.3 million foreign tourists this year. — Vietnam News/ANN
