This is my second tour with Europamundo. The first was not all that great, but I was partially to blame so I decided to give them another shot. This tour includes stops at locations that are in line with what one would expect to see in the cities included. The transportation is decent and comfortable. Another family and I were asked if we would mind going on a different tour bus because of seating space. Once on the bus it was conducted entirely in Spanish and we had to remind the guide that there were English speakers on board. The city tours provide a lot of information and scenic memories. Make a note that it says on the last day the end of services is after breakfast. Actually, after the city tour in Paris the day before the end of the tour you will get dropped off by the L'ouvre under the premise of a "free day" and you are on your own to get back to your hotel. The accommodations are about a 7.5/10. In Amsterdam I was at the Radisson Blu. It was a nice full service hotel. Daily breakfast was good. Room was comfortable and clean. However, it is not located by anything but warehouse/industrial buildings. However, in Paris We stayed at the Residhome Aparthome in Nanterre. The location is great!!! Lots of restaurants and buzzing college town. However the accommodations were horrid. Specifically my room #209 had old peeling furniture and mildew on the roof and doorways. I took pics and will upload. The staff were French speaking only. Overall, the tour is good. Saw lots of sights and made lifetime memories. Europamundo needs to do a little more fine tuning to be sure the tours run a little more smoothly. I will say I would consider doing another tour with them. Considering the price the value matches what was paid.

Crucemundo people and food were great. Ship was clean and comfortable. We loved having the freedom to go on and off the boat when the boat was docked in port. Would have liked more time in Delft. Sunday and Monday the museums and shops were closed in Rotterdam. Having Tulip in the cruise name is a bit misleading since we don’t see any. Tour radar should not be so strict about the meals as we were brought back to the ship because they had to feed us on board. Transportation should be both to and from Amsterdam, considering you are advertising that the crew starts and ends in Amsterdam. No, Zaandam is NOT part of Amsterdam. We should be offered the optional excursions for purchase at the beginning of the cruise. There should be some minimal criteria for tour guides. Most were great, but a couple were not up to par.

Europamundo was good and the guides knew their information pretty well. Since they are based out of Spain, the guides' first language is not English and even those accustomed to understanding an accent have to pay attention. Our meeting times changed a few times from the itinerary, which they gave ample notice of, but perhaps a group text or reminder on some of these may have helped, as the hotel hosting us were not 'in the know' on what was going on many times when asked. For the amount of time we spent on the coaches, we felt you should have an onboard restroom available, not indicating 'only for emergency' or strongly discouraging its use. Overall, it was a good experience - please work on getting children on same floor in hotel or near parent room, as we had to shuffle rooms more than once in our trip. Lastly, if you are going to schedule a tour over Xmas as we had, the company should be more aware of what will and won't be open over the holiday. The guides worked very cohesively together.

Brussels is the capital and largest city of Belgium and the de facto capital of the European Union. It is also the largest urban area in Belgium, comprising 19 municipalities, in addition to the seat of the French Community of Belgium and of the Flemish Community. Brussels has grown from a 10th-century fortress town founded by a descendant of Charlemagne to a sizeable city with a population of 1.2 million and a metropolitan area with a population of over 1.8 million. Since the end of the Second World War, Brussels has been a major center for international politics. Hosting principal EU institutions, the secretariat of the Benelux and the headquarters of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), the city has become the home of numerous international organizations, politicians, diplomats and civil servants.

Ghent is a city located in the Flemish region in the north of Belgium. During the middle Ages, Ghent became one of the largest and richest cities in northern Europe. Many indicators of Ghent’s rich history and past is evident in the architecture in the city center. The city council made the center of Ghent free of cars, so it is very easy for visitors and tourists to explore the city.

Antwerp is the most populous city in the country of Belgium. It is located on the River Scheldt, which links to the North Sea. Antwerp’s port is considered one of the biggest ports in the world. The city dates back to the 4th century. Today, it is known for being the world’s leading diamond city, with more than 70% of all diamonds traded in the city.

Beer (Trappist beer):

Trappist beer is brewed in Trappist monasteries in Belgium. The first beer brewed was made exclusively for monks and was described as dark and sweet. At the time it had low alcohol content and was the preferred drink over the often unsanitary drinking water. The beer was brewed and distributed as a way to raise funds. Today the beer is much stronger and is among some of the highest alcohol content in all of Europe.

Belgian cheese is part of a refined cheese selection. Some award-winning restaurants only offer Belgian cheese. They have semi-hard, hard, blue, soft, and cottage. They haven’t always been this popular for cheese but now their several hundred cheeses are finally getting the recognition they deserve.

Belgian chocolate remains the gourmet standard for all chocolate. Even the Swiss copy their basic recipe from the Belgian chocolatiers. What makes Belgian chocolate so unique compared to others is the quality of ingredients and how they still make most of the chocolate by hand in small shops with original equipment.

Belgian waffles:

Originally the waffles were known as the Brussels waffles. The family trying to expand the popularity to America knew that wouldn’t sell so they changed the name to Belgian. The traditional way to serve Belgian waffles is crispy on the outside airy in the middle with freshly whipped cream and cut strawberries. Also, you are supposed to eat it with your hands.

Gothic grandeur

Feast your eyes on the grandeur of Brussels' Grand-Place , with its glorious town hall and countless guild houses. With its richly decorated facade and impressive tower, the City of Brussels' Town Hall is one of the most beautiful buildings in the country. But did you know that the inside is also worth a visit? On Wednesdays and Sundays , an experienced guide will escort you through the many halls and galleries , interspersed with anecdotes from Brussels city politics.

Can't get enough of cross-ribbed vaults and Brabant Gothic architecture ? Then walk up the Treurberg hill for a guided tour of the Cathedral of Saint Michael and Saint Gudula . The free tour of the cathedral is the perfect opportunity to learn more about the history of this remarkable religious building. If you're not afraid of heights and a bit of exercise you can even take a tour of the cathedral's towers . Be advised that a tour of the towers must be requested at least two weeks in advance and costs €10 per person.

Brussels' Palace of Justice is a real eye-catching jewel of Brussels' heritage. It's the largest courthouse in the world . This gigantic building, designed by Joseph Poelaert, has a usable area of 40,000m². The dome is 100 metres high and there are more than 250 rooms, including 27 impressive courtrooms! That's bigger than Saint Peter's Basilica in Rome. A visit is, therefore, a must.

By tram, bus or horse-drawn carriage

Sightseeing in Brussels with a guide on board? The electric hop-on-hop-off Tootbus takes you from the Atomium to the Grand-Place and from the Mont des Arts to the European Quarter. Brussels City Tours also offer tour bus rides .

Prefer a mode of transport with a touch of historical flair? Hop on board the Brussels Tourist Tramway for a four-hour vintage tram ride that takes you past Brussels heritage sites. Or let yourself be driven around the capital a horse-drawn carriage . The carriages are available every day of the week on rue Charles Buls .

After a few stops around rue Defacqz and avenue Louise, the tour takes you to the peaceful district of Ixelles ponds to discover other architectural treasures. Demonstrations for individuals are arranged on Saturdays at 4:00 PM and on Sundays at 3:00 PM and are held in English and in French. You find us in the heart of Brussels beetween the popular Manneken Pis and the Grand Place.

A new chocolate museum opened its doors on September 20th 2014 in Brussels on the former Victoria chocolate works. Sited near the Koekelberg Basilica, the Belgian Chocolate Village is one of the largest museums in Europe to be dedicated to chocolate.

The museum tour route displays and explains the stages of the manufacture of chocolate, its uses, its history, its benefits, its economics and its diversity. It appeals to all the visitors' senses. At the heart of the museum there is a unique tropical greenhouse. You can also participate at chocolate workshops (on reservation - 15 days before) and you can buy chocolate in our shop.

Ken Carson Announces 2024 World Tour

Ken Carson has announced the 2024 Chaos World Tour, an extensive run of dates that will bring the Atlanta rapper across North America and Europe. He’s hitting the road in support of his new album, A Great Chaos , which came out last October. Find the complete list of tour dates below.

The 2024 Chaos World Tour begins in Orlando, Florida, on July 8 and keeps Ken Carson on the road until October 5, where he ends the run in Prague, Czech Republic. Along the way, he’ll perform in Los Angeles, New York, Atlanta, Paris, London, Berlin, and Milan, among other locales. News of the tour arrives on the heels of Carson’s new track “ Overseas .”
