Hip hop veteran Yelawolf has announced a sizable U.S. tour commencing in 2023 supporting his current album 'Mud Mouth' . The 14-date trek kicks off August 11th in Bismarck and continues into October making additional stops in Cleveland, Albany, Norfolk, Richmond, Charleston and Columbia. Joining the tour in support will be special guests Caskey and Cowboy Killer. Also during the year, the rapper will be joining Jelly Roll during portions of his Backroad Baptism Tour .

Yelawolf released his sixth studio album 'Mud Mouth' on April 30th, 2021 via Slumerican Records. The new album follows up 2019's 'Ghetto Cowboy' which reached #40 on Billboard's R&B/Hip-Hop chart and features a guest appearance by DJ Paul on the tracks 'Country Rich' and 'Keep on Rollin' . Back in 2018, the southern rapper launched his Trunk Muzik 3 Tour across America along with support from Struggle Jennings , Jelly Roll and Waylon & Willie. The prior year, his 51/50 Tour was joined by Mikey Mike , Big Henri and Cookup Boss.

About Yelawolf

Michael Wayne Atha (born December 30, 1979), better known by his stage name Yelawolf , is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, fashion designer, and business owner. Born and raised in Gadsden, Alabama, Atha embarked on his career in 2005—releasing independent solo material from then until 2010—he released one extended play (EP) and four mixtapes. It was not until 2010's Trunk Muzik EP that Yelawolf started to gain mainstream attention. The same year, Yelawolf signed a record deal with Interscope Records. His first release on a major label was to be a somewhat reworked Trunk Muzik, titled Trunk Muzik 0-60 , which shared six tracks from Trunk Muzik .

In January 2011, Yelawolf signed a recording deal with Eminem's record label, Shady Records, and released his second studio album, Radioactive on November 21, 2011. The album debuted at number 27 on the Billboard 200. Yelawolf released a sequel to his breakthrough mixtape Trunk Muzik , titled Trunk Muzik Returns , on March 14, 2013. His third album, Love Story, was released on April 21, 2015. His fourth album, Trial by Fire , was released on October 27, 2017. His fifth album, expected to be his last under Shady Records, Trunk Muzik III , was released on March 29, 2019. His sixth studio album, Ghetto Cowboy , and first independent studio album since signing to Eminem's imprint, was released on October 31, 2019.

It continues a busy season for the maverick, arriving on the heels of “Make You Love Me.” Produced by frequent collaborator and GRAMMY® Award winner Malay [Frank Ocean, Alicia Keys], the track reeled in over 672K Spotify streams and 3.2 million YouTube views on the  music video . 

“Make You Love Me” also garnered widespread tastemaker looks. Touted by HipHopDX and more, HotNewHipHop professed, “Yelawolf is continuing to build up excitement.” Bootleg Kev personally gave the song its broadcast premiere on his syndicated radio show, and Yelawolf sat down with him for a deep interview.

Neil Young & Crazy Horse Extend 2024 Tour: How To Get Tickets

F olk rock legend Neil Young and his long-collaborating band Crazy Horse announced their upcoming Love Earth Tour a few months ago. The tour is set to kick off tomorrow, and the artists have recently extended the US and Canada tour with a few more dates! The new dates will bring Young and the band to brand new dates in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Utah, and Colorado. If you haven’t gotten your tickets yet, don’t worry. We’ll give you the details on scoring seats.

The first stop on the Crazy Horse and Neil Young 2024 Tour will be in San Diego, California on April 24 at Cal Coast Credit Union Open Air Theatre. The tour is expected to close on September 29 in Hollywood, California at Hollywood Bowl.

The majority of tickets and tour dates for this trek are available for general sale. For the newly announced dates, fans can get in on the artist presale event by visiting Neil Young’s website starting today. There will also be presale events on Ticketmaster for the new dates starting on April 25 at 10:00 am local.

In 2000, Everclear got ambitious.

Following the success of their hit 1997 record “So Much For The Afterglow,” the band decided to release the sonically adventurous double album “Songs From An American Movie.”

Sales stalled because of how the record was rolled out — Vol. 1 hit shelves in July; Vol. 2 came out just four months later in November.

Now, a quarter century later, Art Alexakis and co. are dusting off “Songs From An American Movie” and taking the double album on the road along with fellow ’90s legends Marcy Playground and Jimmie’s Chicken Shack .

Along the way, they’ll visit Huntington, NY’s The Paramount on Oct. 6 and Asbury Park, NJ’s Asbury Lanes on Oct. 11.

“Join us as we celebrate 25 years of ‘Songs from an American Movie’, which we’ll be putting out on vinyl for the first time ever later this year,” Everclear shared on Instagram .

“A lot of these songs we haven’t played in a while or, in some cases, we’ve never played live before. We’ll of course be playing the hits and fan favorites too.”

As noted above, “Soundtrack From An American Movie” is a double album.

The first album, the 14-track “Learning How To Smile” features a handful of modest hits for the group including the bouncy “AM Radio” and the upbeat cover of Van Morrison’s “Brown Eyed Girl.”

Our hot take is the evocative title track “Learning How To Smile” is the real winner here; jaunty instrumentals and romantic lyrics about “leav(ing) this place and run(ning) away” are sure to melt even the most cynical hearts.

Hard rockin’ “Now That It’s Over” and “Unemployed Boyfriend” are bona fide headbangers, too.

Album number two — dubbed “Good Time For A Bad Attitude” and comprised of 12 songs — features crunchy, radio-friendly jams like “When It All Goes Wrong Again,” “Rock Star” and “Short Blonde Hair.”

Most of the record stays in that lane. Still, there’s one notable exception.

Folksy “The Good Witch Of The North” shows off Alexakis’ sensitive singer-songwriter side as the band wades into soft pop territory.

6lack Just Finished A Tour But Just Announced Another One, ‘No More Lonely Nights Tour’

6lack’s Since I Have A Lover ranked among Uproxx’s “ Best R&B Albums Of 2023 ,” so he doesn’t intend to squander the momentum from the acclaimed album. 6lack staged his Since I Have A Lover Tour from last October until early March. Shortly after it wrapped, he was announced as a supporting act on Russ’ upcoming North American tour , but his schedule just got even busier.

On Monday, April 29, 6lack revealed he will be heading back out on the road as a headliner with his No More Lonely Nights Tour — “a limited run of shows visiting seven US cities,” according to a press release.

“The intimate performances will capture the raw emotion that lines the collection of songs on Since I Have A Lover that delve into 6lack’s personal journey with mental health, healing, personal growth, love and his own journey of finding his way — the good and the bad,” the press release relays.

The tour will start in Honolulu, Hawaii on May 18 and stretch until June 27. 6lack’s Artist Presale will run from Tuesday, April 30, at 10 a.m. local time through Friday, May 3, at 9 a.m. local time.
