The World’s Biggest Bounce House is Coming to Boston, Massachusetts, This Summer

We all remember the fun and borderline dangerous act of stepping inside a bounce house as a kid. Those memories of unfiltered, energy-releasing action are so locked into our brains that when we have our own kids and it's time to celebrate, we think of bounce houses.

While some parents won't admit it, many openly talk about they're jealous that their kids get to bounce around without a care in the world. Even as adults, there's something completely freeing about taking your shoes off and enthusiastically bouncing around.

If you feel that way, you're not alone, which is why a nationwide tour featuring the Guinness Book of World Records holder for 'largest bounce house in the world' is generating so much excitement. There will be two lengthy stops in New England, and is fit for kids and adults.

The first will happen at the Seekonk Speedway in Providence, Rhode Island , from June 22 to June 30. The second will happen in Boston, Massachusetts, from late June through the beginning of July. Dates and location are still being determined.

According to Pop Crush , Big Bounce America has put together a space that is a whopping 16,000 square feet filled with giant slides, ball pits, and America's largest inflatable obstacle course. There will even be a bounce house basketball court to live out your slam dunk dreams.

There will also be DJs on site to help facilitate the fun, whether you're bringing the entire family or checking out one of their adults-only time slots. Big Bounce America hopes to use a reservation system to prevent an overcrowded atmosphere.

Man running in a bounce house. Only he is in focus and his feet are off the ground

No need to fret if you’ve seen a massive sneaker while driving past the soon-to-close Golden Gate Fields: A giant hasn’t lost his shoe.

The Orlando-based Big Bounce America, a touring inflatable theme park that claims to have the world’s biggest bounce house, is in town through July 30 ; the aforementioned sneaker is simply a part of a four-laned obstacle course fittingly named The Giant.

The park has four bouncy attractions — including a sports complex and a space-themed zone — that together cost roughly $1 million.

The highlight is “The Castle,” a custom-designed, world-record-holding bounce house that contains a ball pit, donut-topped climbing towers, tulips with soulless smiling faces, and a DJ pit. It covers an area of more than 16,000 square feet and is 32 feet tall at its highest point. Its aesthetic is best be described as a hybrid between Alice-in-Wonderland and the Candy Land board game.

Altogether, over 100 air blowers, plugged into five diesel power generators, keep the park inflated. Co-founder Cameron Craig said he didn’t know how many gallons of fuel are used per day.

Medics are onsite at all times and are often kept busy, tending to dehydrated adults and many twisted ankles. Assistant tour manager Billy Jamison recommends attendees stretch before jumping and stay hydrated (you’re allowed to bring in your own food and water, and fair food is available for purchase).

“Some people come out and don’t realize how big these are and how much of a workout this is,” Jamison said.

band-aid on a blue vinyl wall

We spoke with Craig and Jamison last week as their crew drilled stakes into the pavement to keep the inflatables from being swept up by the sea breeze.

Craig said he and his partner, Grahme Furgeson, came up with the idea of making large bouncy houses in 2017 after seeing a long line of children outside one at a family festival in England. A bigger house, they thought, would make it so that mom and dad can join in on the fun, instead of standing outside waiting.

After a few years in the biz, the pair decided they wanted to beat the existing world record, which was at the time a modest 4,000-square-foot inflatable in England.

Multi-colored abstract inflatable shapes

Tickets for mixed-age, kid-only and adult-only sessions can be bought on Big Bounce America’s site and range between $22 and $45. They include 3 hours of jumping time, including a 45 minute session in The Castle.

Here are a few other interesting tidbits we learned:

  • Craig and Furgeson are both former DJs who worked in bars and clubs in Scotland. It’s partly why there’s a DJ pit in the middle of The Castle. (The tour has several DJs on staff.) “That’s the coolest thing about it — it’s like there’s a dance party happening,” Craig said. “If you’ve never seen 300 children do the cha-cha slide on a bouncy house, it’s quite fun, as you can imagine.”
  • Tears occur roughly once a week. “We have a repair guy on site,” Jamison said.
  • The fastest time anyone has ever completed the The Giant obstacle course was 2 minutes and 50 seconds. When Big Bounce America visited La Habra in 2022, the course was supposedly a favorite of the rapper Wiz Khalifa, who went through the 900-foot-long obstacle course nine times, according to Jamison.
  • During our visit, the damp vinyl (it had rained at the last tour stop in Boston) smelled vaguely like a middle school gym when we visited, but hopefully the odor has been eliminated. The house was due to be power-washed after we left.

The Big Bounce America: fun for all at the world’s biggest inflatable theme park

Words:  Lalla Merlin

| 10 min read

Travelling amusement park, The Big Bounce America is now in its third year. In March, it returned to the US to begin its 2019 world tour , visiting over 40 cities across 25 states.

Big Bounce America

The Big Bounce America is the biggest inflatable theme park ever. It features America’s largest inflatable obstacle course, as well as the world’s largest bounce house. The tour is part of a growing trend for adult active play and has introduced two new attractions this year. These are a 900-foot long obstacle course, and a space-themed wonderland.

Dodgeball games, inflatable animals, ball pits, climbing towers and confetti blasts are on offer at The Big Bouncer. Visitors can also enjoy music from a DJ.

The Giant is a new 900-foot long obstacle course with climbing and a monster slide. Another new attraction is airSPACE. This bounce house in three sections is themed around spaceships , aliens and oversized planets. It also showcases a 60-ft tall maze.

The faces behind The Big Bounce America

Blooloop spoke to the concept’s creators, Grahame Ferguson and Cameron Craig .

“Grahame and I have similar backgrounds,” says Craig. “We are both from Glasgow, and we currently run events all over the world, including Big Bounce America.”

Craig has worked for the entertainment industry since leaving school. He studied music at college and went on to DJ at venues and events across the world.

“We have both always had an interest in working in live events,” says Craig. “We put on student parties at the university student union when we were younger. This involved putting posters on lampposts and handing out leaflets. And now we put on events at colleges, universities and festivals across the world. We’re always coming up with new ideas.”

Big Bounce America

One of those ideas was the Big Bounce America concept, which the pair launched in 2017. From the outset, it was clear it was going to be a success.

“It has gone from strength to strength,” says Craig. “We started with 15 events in 2017, then grew to 52 in 2018. This year, we are hosting 70 events in the United States alone. The Big Bounce America brand has grown continuously in size and as an attraction. In addition to this, it has also grown in popularity.

“The families and attendees that come to the event have become a regular clientele that returns each year. We are able to focus now on growing the brand .”

Big Bounce America

The trend for adult active play

The idea to incorporate an adult-only session came to the pair after the 2017 tour.

“Before we launched as a touring family event, most of our work in the US was based on college entertainment,” says Craig. “We were providing themed events and brands from headphone disco to roller raves. We would take these to colleges and universities across the United States. They would book us to come, pay us a fee and we would show up and put on an event on college grounds. It was a big market for us; it still is.

“We decided that we’d like to try something new. So, we thought we might try experimenting with some inflatables. The idea behind Big Bounce America the brand was to provide some college entertainment.”

Big Bounce America

The initial plan was to tie in some other college brands, simply adding the inflatable aspect:

“One thing led to another. As we developed the brand, we did some research and did more design work on the concept. We realised, in a nutshell, that the target audience doesn’t have to be college kids. It can be a wide market of audiences.”

Fun for all ages

The pair knew adults would love the concept – and they do. But also, as Craig says, “Kids love a candy-coloured inflatable bouncy castle just as much as anybody. More than anybody.

“So, it went from a concept for the college market to the direction we have taken. In the evenings, from around 6 o’clock, it is for those over 16. During the day, it is for families : the kids are there, the grandparents, aunts and uncles. Everyone attends; it’s like a touring mini-festival where we’re open to all ages.

Big Bounce America

Charting the evolution and development of the concept over the last three years, he says:

“The idea began when Grahame and I were working at a music festival in the UK. There were some family attractions as well; there was a whole area for kids to play while their dads were having a beer or a coffee or whatever. It was just the usual type of bouncy castle that you get at kids’ parties and back gardens.

“We looked at that and thought it would be quite cool to make one big enough for Mum and Dad to play on with the kids. And that’s where the idea started. Because we thought kids would like that, we could maybe put a DJ box outside it.”

The biggest bounce

“We started developing the original idea and decided to go bigger. We thought: ‘Let’s make one big enough for people to have an actual party in. Let’s put lots of stuff inside it. Let’s put a stage in the centre; let’s have basketball courts, ball pits, slides, all within the four walls of this bouncy castle.’

“So, this idea grew. Eventually, we did some research to find the size of the biggest one ever, and said, ‘Let’s make one bigger than that.’ In the first year, 2017, we developed the world’s biggest bouncy castle, which was Big Bounce America.”

Big Bounce America

The response was overwhelming, says Craig. “We moved from doing 15 events in 2017 to 52 in 2018. Initially, in 2017, the bouncy castle was the main event. We had local food trucks and vendors and a few local companies doing some brand activity around it. But that’s all we had from an entertainment point of view.

Bounce Village

“In 2018 we developed a smaller entertainment brand, the Bounce Village. This sat alongside the main brand. It had three ‘adventure lands’, or obstacle courses. It also had a mini bouncer for smaller kids, a slide, and a couple of other things.

“That went really well. We knew we were onto something here but felt there was so much more we could do. We said, ‘Let’s take it up a notch and develop it into a bigger plan for a bigger event for 2019’ – and that’s what we’ve done.”

However, the Guinness world record-holding Bounce House is still very much the focal point. “That’s still the thing people come to see and to get a picture in front of it,” says Craig.

Obstacles and inflatables

Big Bounce America Blooloop

“We then developed an obstacle course called The Giant,” adds Craig. “It has proved incredibly popular. It is 1000 ft long; a zig-zag course that both adults and kids can play on. It is challenging enough for adults, but with alternative routes for kids. Some of the more difficult obstacles have tunnels or easier options.

“We’ve also developed a whole new branded area called airSPACE. It’s made up of a collective group of different inflatables, a five-lane slide, a 60ft tall maze and a ball pit. All themed around space. It looks really cool.

“The design is something we’ve never seen with inflatables before. We’ve got specific custom colours, so we had to get specific material made from these colours. It really is quite eye-catching. So that’s touring currently.

“Alongside the attractions, we’ve got food shops and themed shelters. There are also chill-out zones for parents.

“We also have some local vendors. There is a much bigger food court at this event and a greater number of interactive things for people to do. It has proven to be extremely popular. So, decisions have been made to continue growing the brand, what we’re looking to continue to do. We want to keep developing it, to keep bringing something new to the Big Bounce America brand.”

International expansion

When it comes to expanding internationally , Grahame Ferguson says: “I think that is something we can consider now we have proved our concept. That was always a worry because it hadn’t been done before: there was no kind of blueprint.

Big Bounce America

“There are bricks and mortar inflatable parks popping up everywhere. They seem to be this year’s version of the trampoline parks. But nobody had taken this and made it into an outdoor touring concept.”

Establishing the notion was, he says, daunting at the outset. “Now that we’ve got two and a half years of year on year growth and success, and the tickets seem to back that up, taking it international is one of the key focuses for 2020.”

Universal appeal

The duo has taken experiences overseas before. They previously did a month-long residency in Saudi Arabia in January.

“We were invited to curate a dedicated area for a much bigger area, Winter Wonderland,” says Ferguson. “We brought our attractions and all our staff, and ran that event for a month.”

Big Bounce America

One of their concerns about going international was, will this translate? Will this resonate with an audience in Saudi Arabia the same way it resonates in Cincinnati? What they learned in January was that people’s reactions are universal.

“It was exactly the same,” says Ferguson. “Seeing somebody in traditional Arab dress reacting the same way as somebody in New York or Philadelphia was really something to watch. It gave us confidence. We thought: ‘If we can take this to a culture that is so different from the culture we know, western Europe and America, then we can take this anywhere.’

Australian tour

“The next tour is going to be in Australia, and that’s going to be happening in January, February and March of 2020,” says Ferguson. “We’re in discussions with a few other strategic partners to get out to at least two or three markets in 2020 also. Once we’d got that proof of concept, we felt comfortable enough to move in that direction.”

Big Bounce America

There are, of course, certain limitations.  “The weather is just about the hardest logistical aspect that we have to deal with,” says Ferguson. “It’s a constant challenge: if it’s not too hot, it’s too wet.

“We spend a great deal of time looking at weather charts and historical data. We want to try and go to the place that hits that sweet spot; where it is dry, but not too hot. When we worked in the Middle East, for example, it just wasn’t viable to trade during the daytime because of the heat.

“In many ways, it would be easier to do it as a bricks and mortar type thing. When you’re indoors, you get the same kind of conditions all the time. But that takes away from the vision. At its heart, about getting families outdoors and creating something special in that green landscape.”

The joy of play

Adult active play experiences are growing in popularity. Ferguson doesn’t see it as a new phenomenon.

“Adult play represents about 30% of our business. I think adults wanting to be able to behave and play like children is something that’s always been there. It is simply that there is an increasing number of operators that are providing that kind of entertainment now.

“In the States, for example, one of the big ones is the whole range of companies doing adult summer camps. they resemble the ones children are sent to, except you can drink alcohol and party.

“On that basis, I don’t see the trend going away. I just envision more companies coming in and providing more entertainment geared towards that market.”

Big Bounce America

The future of The Big Bounce America

In terms of the company’s future growth, Ferguson says: “Talking about America first, continually expanding has to remain relevant and interesting.

“There are many of these mass participation events that tour, and they all appear to have a limited shelf life. That is because there are only so many ways you can change a colour run, for example. It’s always going to be somebody throwing paint at you as you run 5k.

“We, however, are in a uniquely privileged position. We can literally do whatever we want within our footprint. Not only that, we can expand the footprint as well, as we have done every year since we started in 2017.

“So, our aim would be to continue to innovate, to continue to produce new, exciting attractions. We have to keep it constantly evolving, and we were aware of that from the start.

“Internationally, the majority of our events will be happening in 2020. So, both the events that we run ourselves and the events that we are booked to be a part of, they’re fairly soon.”

'Lights up the little kid in everybody': The World’s Biggest Bounce House to be in Stockton Friday

biggest bounce house tour

Bounce houses are not just for children's birthday parties.

The World’s Biggest Bounce House will be in Stockton this weekend for all ages to enjoy, even those not celebrating a birthday.

"The Big Bounce America is a Guinness Book World Record making inflatable — our big claim to fame. It's our castle," said Dave Disarro, tour manager for The Big Bounce America. "We have around 30,000 square feet of craziness inside there."

Aside from inflatable houses, The Big Bounce America tour will also have vendors, and a DJ "running dance competitions and games," Disarro said.

The Stockton tour stop will be on Friday, April 5 through Sunday, April 7 at the San Joaquin County Fairgrounds at 1658 S. Airport Way in Stockton.

Those attending can expect inflatables such as "The Giant," The Dino," "The Castle," (The World's Biggest Bounce House), "airSPACE Spaceman", and the "sports arena," among others, Disarro said.

He described the tour as "absolutely epic fun."

The star of the show

The World's Biggest Bounce House or "the castle," is the most popular inflatable, Disarro said.

"It is definitely the star of the show..." he said. "This one is almost twice as big as the one we had last year."

Attendees will receive two-time slots when they purchase tickets. One is for a three-hour block session and the other is for a 45-minute dedicated time slot for The World's Biggest Bounce House. Unlike The World's Biggest Bounce House which can only be accessed during the 45-minute assigned time slot, the rest of the inflatables are unlimited access.

The World's Biggest Bounce House can hold up to 450 people in one session, Disarro said.

Family time

Families with little ones are encouraged to attend the morning sessions.

"If you have younger children, I would strongly suggest to bring them just the little guys in earlier in the morning, just so they can have fun with kids their own age..." Disarro said. "A lot of the times with our sold-out session, you're gonna have a lot of little kids and big kids in there, which they're all having fun but it can get a little crazy."

He suggests arriving early and dressing comfortably.

One ticket gets guests three hours at the event. This event has four ticket session options: toddler, junior, bigger kids, and adult only. Tickets start at $22 for toddlers and go up to $39 for adults.

Kids at heart

Graham Ferguson and Cameron Craig are the founders of The Big Bounce America, Disarro said.

"It was started by a couple of guys from Scotland. They were musicians and DJs at first and they kind of came up with some of these crazy ideas," Disarro said. "They have a few different event companies but this one is just kind of an all together family fun."

Disarro said this event is for "everybody" and "everyone."

"We've had toddlers, just barely being able to crawl that are in there and I've seen some elderly people come out that are just being kids at heart again..." Disarro said. "This kind of lights up the little kid in everybody."

There will be two more California stops in April. The tour will stop in Santa Rosa on April 19-21 at the Sonoma County Event Center at the Fairgrounds and in Santa Barbara on April 26-28 at Elings Park.

Rain or shine, the fun will proceed at The Big Bounce America tour stop in Stockton this weekend.

Tickets will be available at the door. But to secure a spot you can buy them in advance online at thebigbounceamerica.com .

Feel Like a Kid Again at This Inflatable Theme Park Which Has the World's Largest Bounce House

The Big Bounce America tour will start in Florida in February.

Inflatable, Fun, bounce house, Games, Outdoor play equipment, Leisure, Recreation, Play, Performance, Balloon,

The Big Bounce America tour will start in Florida and make its way through the country, delivering bouncers of all ages access to the world's largest inflatable theme park to giggle and hop around in. This colorful landscape is equipped with super fun activities that will literally have you jumping for joy. Each ticket gets you three hours in the park at a designated time. With the exception of the toddlers, ticket holders will have access to all four attractions. You can choose to accompany your kids 15 and under, or choose an adult-only session and tackle it with your pals—with not a single kid on the premises.

The four bounce experiences include the World's Biggest Bounce House (yes, it's Guinness World Record Certified) where guests can flail around the 13,000 square foot landscape, go down the giant slide, slam dunk through some giant basketball hoops, and lounge on some oversized couches. Meanwhile, a DJ will be blasting only the jauntiest of playlists as it rains confetti from time to time. This is the party spot, for sure!

If you're looking for competition, there's Sport Slam, a massive inflatable sports arena where you can challenge your friends in special "battle zones" to dodgeball, basketball, and soccer games, as well as many other bouncy challenges. There's also The Giant, a 900 foot bouncy obstacle course equipped with 50 challenges to help you channel your inner ninja warrior. Obstacles include making it across a series of giant red balls and crawling through rainbow spirals. Don't worry though, the course was designed for bouncers of all abilities—take it as fast or slow as you want.

Last, there's Air Space, a unique space-themed wonderland filled with friendly aliens, spaceships, moon craters and more! Bouncers will meet friendly aliens along the way as they test out their moonwalk and try to make their way out of the giant maze.

Interested? You can buy your tickets here . So far the tour has dates in Florida, California, Texas, Colorado, Wisconsin, and New York. However, there will be dates added this year for Arizona, Idaho, DC, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minniesota, Missouri, Nevada, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, and Washington. Please arrive in advance of your session start time with your QR code printed or ready to show on your phone. This can be found on the ‘go to your tickets’ link of this email. We’ll then exchange your tickets for wristbands so you’re ready to enter your session at your scheduled time.

Your ticket contains two times – the start time of your overall session, and the start time of your 45 minute slot on The World’s Biggest Bounce House within this session. Access to The Giant, Sport Slam and airSPACE is unlimited during your 3 hour session, but access to The World’s Biggest Bounce House is during your allotted time slot only. This is to ensure there is no overcrowding and everyone has room to enjoy themselves. To make the most of your time on the bounce house remember to queue up to enter ahead of your allotted slot.

Showing up late to your session will not prohibit you from being able to enter, however your 3 hour session will not be extended further than the original ending time. Additionally, if you miss your allotted Bounce House timeslot you will not be able to join another one.

Anyone aged 0-100 is welcome! For convenience we’ve split each session into different recommended age groups.

‘Toddler Sessions’ are exclusively for parents/carers with children aged 3 and under (ages 0-3).

‘Junior Sessions’ are for kids aged 7 and under (ages 0-7). Their parents/carers can join them too although they will also need to buy a separate ticket. ‘

Bigger Kids ‘ sessions have the same rules but for children aged 15 and under (ages 0-15).

‘Adult Only Sessions’ are open to anyone aged 16 and over.

Please read the ‘Session Types’ menu above for a full list of ticket details and rules.

No. Only children aged 3 and under must be accompanied into the inflatables by a paying parent/carer with their own ticket.

It’s free for parents to attend the event with their children. However, if you want to enter any of our inflatable attractions along with your children you will require your own individual ticket. Simply purchase an additional ticket to the same session/time slot that your kids are attending.

For safety we do require that any kids 3 & under are accompanied into the inflatables by a paying parent/carer with their own ticket.

Only on the Adult Only Sessions where everyone must be aged 16 or over. At every other session there is only an upper age limit, not a lower age limit. This is to avoid splitting families up who have children with varying ages. However, we do ask parents/carers to be mindful of the potential hazards associated with allowing their smaller children into a session designed for older children.

We run a safe event and we have multiple staff working throughout our event to ensure safety and good behavior. However, children will be children and we strongly recommend that children aged 4-7 attend our ‘Junior Session’ and children aged 3 and under attend our ‘Toddlers Session’.

Yes. All of our attractions have a maximum weight limit of 245lbs. The World’s Largest Bounce House has a maximum height limit of 85 inches (7′ feet 1″ inch) and all other attractions have a maximum height limit of 76 inches (6′ feet 4″ inch). Weight scales and other measuring devices will be available on site should you require to use them. Guests who exceed these limits cannot participate. A minimum height restriction of 36 inches (3′) feet applies at our slide and our ‘Giant’ obstacle course.

Our ‘Access All Areas’ pass gives you 3 full hours to experience our 4 unique attractions. This includes a dedicated timed slot on The World’s Biggest Bounce House, plus unlimited access to The Giant, Sport Slam and airSPACE.

There will also be plenty seating, shaded areas and food vendors for those who want some downtime, and spectators who want to kick back and watch the fun unfold.

Socks must be worn at all times on the inflatables. We have awesome branded ‘gripper socks’ available for purchase at $5 each or you can bring socks of your own. You may also want to bring spares so you can change into a clean pair after the event, and flip flops/crocs for getting between the inflatables. There will be a covered inflatable ‘shoe zone’ to leave shoes before you enter.

Please keep an eye on the weather and dress appropriately. If the sun is out we suggest wearing knee or full-length pants to minimize exposed skin and sunburn. Light/thin activewear rather than jeans will keep you cooler and give you the most flexibility on the inflatables. Sun visors, sunscreen and extra refreshments are also recommended items to pack.

The inflatables might be a little wet if there has been rain, or from morning dew at our morning session so we recommend bringing a change of clothes, especially socks.

If you are unable to find your child please contact a member of staff who will be able to issue a “Lost Child” alert via our radio system. Our staff may ask for some details such as a description of your child, what they are wearing, and where they were last seen. Once the alert has been broadcast and the child has been found, they will be escorted to the Parent & Child Meetup Point where they can be reunited with a parent or guardian.

If a child is unable to find their parent or guardian, they should approach a member of staff who will be able to raise a “Lost Parent” alert and safely escort the child to the Parent & Child Meetup Point where they will be monitored by staff until a parent or guardian is available to sign the child out. The child may be asked for a description of the parent, along with what they are wearing and where they were last seen.

Inside the bounce house we have inflatable activities and challenges (basketball hoops, obstacle runs etc), inflatable chill out areas (big boats, oversized sofas, palm trees etc), inflatable animals and characters for you to grab a photo with, slides, ball pits and all manner of awesome entertainment.

More than just a bounce session, this is an actual day out – One ticket, FOUR awesome experiences!

We have a variety of inflatable chill-out zones! Bouncers can recover and moms and dads can hang out in the shade, whilst the kids enjoy their sessions. We will have food and drink available at most of our events. Our MC will be roaming the Big Bounce site getting everyone vibed before each session starts! So, come down early and make a real day out of all that we have to offer.

While it won’t be possible to spectate on what’s going on inside the bouncer everyone is welcome to come down to our site and no ticket is required to enter the grounds. We’ll have various food vendors and plenty seating available for those with or without a ticket.

Tickets will only be required if bouncing on the inflatables. For safety we do require that any kids 3 & under are accompanied into the inflatables by a paying parent/carer with their own ticket.

Absolutely not. The Big Bounce experience can be as high energy or as low energy as you want. Come in and jump around, or chill out on one of our inflatable sofas the whole time, watching the world bounce by. It’s entirely up to you!

Big Bounce America is a rain or shine event and we won’t let some light rain stop the fun. We recommend checking the local weather report in advance of your session and dressing appropriately.

The safety of our customers and staff comes first and in the case of thunderstorms, heavy rain, strong winds or other adverse weather conditions that would pose a risk we reserve the right to postpone, reschedule, cancel or alter elements of the event or individual sessions. We keep a close eye on the weather ahead of our events and will communicate any changes as soon as we can to ticket holders via email, sms, and on the Facebook event page (sign up for updates for your town at  https://facebook.com/thebigbounceamerica/events )

You can read more about cancellation policies  HERE .

The Big Bounce America event is an outdoor event that takes place mostly during the summer months. Therefore, on sunny days, we advise all participants to dress appropriately, stay hydrated and apply sunscreen. We have dedicated shaded areas throughout the site and complimentary drinking water is available also.

Our goal is always to deliver the full ‘Big Bounce’ experience. On rare occasions this may not be possible due to unforeseen logistical issues. In these circumstances we reserve the right to alter, substitute or withdraw individual elements of the event. Where possible we will communicate this in advance.

Parking is usually free of charge but certain venues may apply a fee.

If a parking charge does apply, cards and cash will be accepted and you will be notified in advance via our event guide.

Keep your eye on your inbox (including your junk folder) the day before you are attending for this guide which also contains lots of other useful info. If you don’t receive this you can always grab a copy from the Facebook event page for your location at https://facebook.com/thebigbounceamerica/events

To guarantee your spot we recommend purchasing in advance online HERE . Sessions do often completely sell out in advance of the event. If a session is sold out online this means it is full. No more tickets will be available on-site on the day.

All sales are final, and we cannot refund tickets unless a refund is due in accordance with our weather & date change policy which is detailed  HERE

Subject to availability, you absolutely can. Contact our ‘ticket inquiries’ department at HERE with the below info:

  • Name and Email address you used to book your order
  • The session day and time you would like moved into
  • The bounce house slot start time you would like moved into

Very young infants that will be worn/in a carrier whilst on the inflatables do not require a ticket.

If you have access to a printer we recommend printing your tickets as this will speed up your check in process, but as long as you can show your email receipt or tickets on your phone you will be good to go!

Tickets are non-transferable and can only be used by those named on the tickets. If you would like to transfer your tickets to someone else you first need to contact us so we can update the tickets to reflect those who will be attending. You can do this by sending us the details of the changes required, along with the location you will be attending, and your booking number (which can be found in your booking confirmation email) HERE

Once we have updated your tickets we will resend them to the email address you used when placing the order. If you would like the contact email or the phone number updated please let us know as both are used to communicate any important event day announcements.

Other Stuff

If your event has been cancelled or postponed you will have received an email outlining your options. If one of those options allowed you to request a refund, rest assured that we are working through these and will notify you when the refund has been processed. If you chose to keep your tickets, new tickets for the rescheduled date will be issued soon.

We aim to have 3 or 4 food and beverage vendors in each town we visit. As these are subject to local availability I’m afraid we can’t give any specifics on the vendors that will be present. At most of our locations you are welcome to bring along a cooler with your own food and drinks in case nothing takes your fancy on the day, or if you have specific dietary requirements. If our venue hosts do request no outside food this will be communicated on our event guide which is sent out the day before the event.

We have a large inflatable dome providing a shaded seating area, but this is often very popular so feel free to bring along picnic blankets or collapsible chairs.

We have no problem with you taking your own camera phone in with you. Just keep it safe and secure though as these have been known to fly out the pockets of over enthusiastic bouncers!

We care a lot about cleanliness and have a strict cleaning protocols in place. Attractions are cleaned between each session with special attention paid to high touch points. There is a more thorough deep clean carried out on a daily basis as well as ongoing specialist cleaning treatments applied regularly.

Whilst we do allow those who are pregnant to take part, you do so at your own discretion. Be mindful that the surface of any inflatables can be unpredictable, and you may lose your footing at points.

We have a dedicated, enclosed, self-managed ‘Sneaker Storage’ tent where you can leave sneakers etc. This is unmanned though so it’s not recommended that you leave anything valuable.

Lockers are available to securely store bags and belongings whilst bouncing. These are available on a first come, first served basis. Please allow extra time for arrival if planning to rent a locker. Lockers are priced $10 each.

A bouncy house at a birthday party was a highlight of my childhood, but a 24,000-square-foot one? To my younger self, that would have been like winning the lottery.

From April 26 to 28, Elings Park will transform into a bouncy-house wonderland as the Big Bounce America 2024 tour stops in Santa Barbara. At the heart of the excitement lies The World’s Largest Bounce House, a sprawling 24,000-square-foot inflatable wonderland equipped with basketball hoops, ball pits, and climbing towers. This bounce house also has a deejay at the center providing music as you bounce.

“Anything you imagine in a bounce house is inside this massive bounce house,” said Sophia Wilson, the Chief Operating Officer at Big Bounce America.

The tour boasts seven inflatable attractions, each offering unique experiences. On the list of attractions are “The OctoBlast,” a 900-square-foot, foam-filled bouncy house; “SportSlam,” a sports area equipped with nets, hoops, and balls; “The Giant,” a 900-square-foot bounce house with 50 different obstacles; and “airSPACE,” a 25-foot-tall, space-themed attraction with a ball pit. Each bounce session is broken up by age group, so both kids and adults can enjoy an afternoon of fun at the inflatable attractions.

Attendees can also refuel at one of the many on-site food trucks.

“Parents and children can expect a day filled with bouncy family fun and creating lifelong memories,” said Wilson. “Parents can also expect to drive home with worn-out, sleepy children.”

Tickets start at $22 for toddlers. Prices go up for juniors, bigger kids, and adults. See thebigbounceamerica.com/tour-dates .
