Went to 3 of their walking tours. I love the Kotagede since we get to interact with the friendly ladies at the market. Had a good laugh and coversation with them. I love the walks at the back alleys and the history behind the houses. People there are always smiling and feels welcoming. Kotabaru, it's like a melting pot of religion there. You can see diff churches and schools with diff background built around the same area. Have an es dawet after a long walk is refreshing. Malioboro, i just thought it's a shopping place but it's has a lot of history. I was surprised to see that there's a chinese mosque there. It was also fun to see street performers there or just sit on one of the benches while having coffee/tea. Overall, it's a really really good tour. Rangga and Dini are really good at what they're doing. Everything is well explained and they're willing to answer your questions and recommend places where to eat. If you're planning to go to Jogja, get these guys as tour guide 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

We wanted to experience some original Javanese culture, while eating our way through the bustling streets of Kotagede. This is exactly what Rangga, our guide, delivered. We started the tour off from the market (pasar) and into the narrow lanes leading to the royal palace, cemetery and mosque. Rangga took us through the history of this Javanese neighborhood, showing us what locals buy and eat, pointing out interesting details of the eclectic Javanese-Dutch architectural blend, and giving us a brief, yet coincise, overview of the last 400 years of history of the place, from sultanate to colonial era to current time. Highly recommended.

During my stay in Jogja, I attended all 4 walking routes. This tour was highly educational and fun. I enjoyed learning about the different cultures that exist in Jogja. Rangga our guide was an absolutely terrific gentleman. Having a local guide who can translate when locals from Jogja talk to you enhances the whole experience. My favourite routes were Kotagede and Kauman. I highly recommend this tour if you are interested about Jogja culture.
