Unique boat and wine tour of Lake Geneva

I would highly recommend Swiss Riviera Wine Tours! Nicolas was an amazing guide who was very accommodating and made the experience extraordinary. He took us to a local winery where we tasted amazing wines with a fabulous view of Lake Geneva. We had a delicious lunch and enjoyed hearing everything from a local’s perspective. We were blessed to ride on the gorgeous Riva boat and experience Lake Geneva from the water. This is not only a highlight of our trip but an experience I will always remember. Thank you, Nicolas, for being such a great host!!

We did a private wine tasting tour with a Riva boat tour add on. Nicolas was the perfect host and made our tour over the top special. You can tell he has a great connection with the area and the wine makers that made the whole experience feel intimate and authentic. Every wine was delicious and the lunch that was prepared by the winemaker's wife was perfectly delicious. I never wanted to leave. I've been on many wine tours and cannot say I have ever experienced one quite like this, nothing about this felt corporate; instead it felt like a great day with a friend and his community. I highly recommend the Rivas tour add on, the boat is a dream and there is no better way to see the lake and the beautiful vineyards. If we find ourselves back in Montreux we will be booking again!

Spent a FABULOUS (!) day exploring the Swiss wine country with our gracious host, Nicolas. This is SO MUCH more than a wine tour, but rather a private cruise on a vintage boat with breathtaking views of the vineyards and mountains of the Lavaux region (impossible to describe the beauty). Enjoyed exploring the quaint towns of Cully and Vevey while learning about the history and culture of the region from Nic. The winery tours and tastings (and views) were also superb…a “top 10” experience for us. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We spent a fabulous day with Nicolas exploring the vineyards and cities of Lausanne, Montreux and Vevey. From the moment we met Nicolas, he was warm, friendly and knowledgeable! Both wineries were very welcoming and seemed to have very special relationships with Nicolas, which was passed along to us as well. We enjoyed Nicolas' sense of humor, information about the countryside and fluent (perfect) English. Highly recommend connecting with Nicolas and spending the day with him!

My wife and I had the pleasure to hire Nicholas and his company Swiss Riviera Wine Tours for day tour around Lake Geneva for a day trip to some local wineries and towns. To say it was a great experience is understated. Nick was the consummate tour guide as his knowledge and perfect English provided much insight to the history of the lake and the communities surrounding it. We spent the first trip hitting some local wineries and having great conversations about their wine region and various wines. It was obvious Nick knew most everyone we met and we were greeted like old friends. We enjoyed the trip so much we booked and second trip and invited our friends to join us as we knew they would love the experience. Boy did they!! On our second adventure we hit a couple new wineries along the lake and then headed across the lake to France for a fantastic lakeside lunch in Evian. Having Nick join us for lunch and all the tastings just added to the experience especially his knowledge and ease of translating for us made it that much more enjoyable. If ever visiting Lake Geneva I assure you that you cannot go wrong hiring Nick!! Enjoy!!
