Brilliant service from Tracey!

Our experience was made great by the amazing staff member that dealt with us, Tracey! We had an unusual request that normally be too much hard work for a travel agency but not for Tracey! We were also on holiday in Thailand at the time so unable to call the office but we spoke to her online and she booked our cruise within an hour, even sorting out the request! Brilliant service and will 100% be booking with them again!

The agent was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to help us find our perfect holiday.

The agent was incredibly helpful. She spent time getting to know the kind of holiday we wanted as a family of four. She clearly knew the area and went to great lengths to show us all the exciting and interesting activities/places we could visit etc. She then spent time going through all our options that were within our budget and what we wanted. I genuinely feel that the holiday we have booked is 100 per cent perfect for us. We haven't compromised on any part of the holiday and I feel that this is down to the time and effort that Sasha put into helping us to build our perfect holiday. I was partciualry impressed as we were working to a fairly tight budget but feel like what we have is worth so much more. I haven't booked with Hays before but I will be booking all future holidays with your store. I genuinely couldn't recommend highly enough!

From the moment I entered the premises…

From the moment I entered the premises I was greeted with a smiling 😃 person. Made to feel comfortable even though I Was using a walker . The lady was very friendly. Told her exactly what we wanted and when and she did the rest. Talked us though every step.first name terms made it feel like we were friends from the off. There was no rushing to get it done and push us out the door. Every question was answered . We paid in full and left knowing we have no worries till we go.

European river cruise

We wanted to book a river cruise in Europe. Tracey took us through a number of cruise providers and highlighted the differences in destinations and benefits. We went away with a number of brochures to consider. We went back a couple of days later. Tracey was very helpful answering our queries and explaining the benefits of the cruise we had chosen, and then making the booking, She explained the insurance requirements very clearly.

On entering Hays travel Llanarth street Newport Tracey one of the sales advisers greeted us with a friendly smile and ushered both my wife and myself to her desk and made us most welcome.She guided us through various options to look for a cruise at short notice after much patience (on Tracey’s part)she came across a lovely cruise that my wife and I settled on.

Friendly staff who know how to look after customers

From walking into the shop just to browse at a brochure we were treated with a warm friendly greeting by Sasha who then made some recommendations on what would best suit us after we told her our expectations. We took the small & friendly (Tui) brochure away to look at and a few hours later came back and booked our holiday for 2024. Sasha was most helpful in finding best flights and dates to suit what we wanted and the whole process of booking in store was brilliant. We will now use Hays for all our future travel and holidays.

Go above and beyond

Even though the lady who helped with my enquiry didn't have name badge on or didn't introduce herself at any point, She did a fabulous job in helping me find the best cruise deal, Helped me decide on the best experience I could get out of my cruise & stay package she put together for me. She was warm & friendly and nothing too much trouble. The only down side was with shop, I found when there was more people in shop it was hard to hear what she said, sound seem to carry.

Lucy has the patience of a Saint

Lucy has the patience of a Saint . We can get a bit fussy when choosing hotels and holidays and we like quite but good hotel and less of the typical English touristy places. Plus travelling from Scotland made it even more challenging and us having to plan around Springboks and RWC final. Lol. We finally did it. Fantastic service as always

A really good experience.

As soon as I opened the door I was met with a smile and a question of how I could be helped. I had recently returned from a holiday booked through Hays, Newport, Isle of Wight agency and I wished to reserve the same holiday for the following year. This was very efficiently completed and a note was made of our essential requirements. Following my return home I had an email from the agency containing the ATOL certificate, also a further email with Hays receipt.

Absolutely brilliant

I was looking for a holiday and had a few ideas in mind. Maria was absolutely amazing; she suggested several options and we looked at what I was likely to see in the two places I was considering which was really helpful. Maria also gave me quotes for comparison. I wasn’t rushed and Maria gave me so much of her time that helped me no end. I so appreciated it as it gave me options to consider that I wouldn’t have done so otherwise. Maria also booked my holiday and was very thorough, explaining everything before contacting the company. It was very straightforward. I left Hays with the booking details and later in the day, Maria forwarded me the company details, it was so quick. Since then, I’ve contacted Maria with a few questions and she has replied very quickly indeed. Nothing is too much trouble and it makes me feel like a very valued and special customer. I’m always welcomed in to Hays travel in Newport, Isle of Wight, where all the staff are professional, friendly, knowledgeable, caring and thoughtful. I would recommend them to anyone booking a holiday. As a solo traveller, it’s due to the staff there that I’m going away at all, as they have given me so much confidence and encouragement to do so. I will be eternally grateful.

Booking a trip!

We went into the travel shop with quite a vague view of what we wanted as we hadn't booked a holiday before, and the staff were so so helpful. We now have a lovely holiday booked for next year for not only longer than we expected to be able to afford but cheaper. Would def go here again to book a holiday.

Friendly approachable staff who give a superb service. We booked a reasonably expensive holiday and everything was made very easy. We were kept updated and nothing caused us any worries at all. The office is light, airy and clean. We would highly recommend!

We had spoken to Maria a couple of days previously about a cruise in October, which on checking didn’t fit our requirements. When we popped back in a couple of days later to get some Euros she had been searching and found another cruise which may of been of interest with a company we hadn’t thought of. Well, as usual, she has managed to get us to part with some more money. Thank you Maria, always go that one step further.

Deserves the best rating

Kim advised that we should try to book the cabin grade I wanted as soon as it went on sale as it was bound to be popular. She was right, and despite her valiant efforts there were too many others online at the same time and we missed out. She also advised a couple of alternative cabins, and ultimately booked me one of them which will suit me very well. She also very kindly gave me a discount on the advertised price which was much appreciated! Throughout the process Kim was most helpful and very professional, she was also completely unflappable during the attempt to book the first cabin, despite the difficulties with the overloaded Cunard website. I cannot rate her highly enough.

Excellent service, friendly and polite. We went in with idea of what wanted and they came back with several options. Yes we may of got holiday cheaper booking direct. But you can not beat the local personal service they back up with until the time you travel

Friendly helpful and knowledgeable

Always brilliant

Always brilliant. Listened to what we were looking for and got us a great deal on a family cruise for 2025. It was an even better price than I'd been able to see direct the cruise company website. Holiday booking

From the time we walked in to the time we walked out the service we got from Paul the Manager was excellent. Helped us through every stage of our holiday booking including booking our airplane seats. He asked did we want to book a hotel near the airport (Stansted) which we said no to. He also explained about the travel insurance and having to phone them as we have ongoing health issue. Can't speak more highly of Paul the Manager and Hays Travel Newport Isle of Wight
