The larger buses are safer and run on a more rigid schedule than the smaller buses. Paying for buses and matatus is done on the bus or matatu.

Taxis and Uber are readily available in most cities, usually reasonably priced. Uber drivers can be unreliable; I've had drivers fail to show up, arrive late, or arrive with other passengers on countless occasions.

Taxis (cars) and Boda Bodas (motorbikes) can be seen roving the streets or at street corners/meeting locations throughout the city. Prices vary; it is advisable to negotiate in advance.

    Day 02 -Nairobi – Masai Mara

After breakfast, drive via Narok to the Masai Mara National Reserve offering wonderful scenery and plenty of game with a Enroute photo stop at the Great Rift Valley.    Day 03 -3 Masai Mara

After breakfast, day spent game-viewing in the reserve from 0900hrs - 1500hrs. Picnic lunch will be served. Afterwards proceed to a Masai village visit en-route to your loge. With over 450 species of birds and animal species, explore the plains and rolling hills for a chance to spot the elephant, black-manned lion, leopard, buffalo, cheetah, and with diverse species of hoofed animals. Dinner and overnight at your camp. Masai Mara offers an absolutely unique variety of animals. The reason is that this hilly region is both humid and fertile, and is crossed by the Mara and Talek rivers, full of crocodiles and hippos. The abundance of water and excellent availability of food are the reasons why the Masai Mara, which in fact is a continuation of the Tanzanian Serengeti National Park, has the greatest population of wild animals in the whole of Africa. There is a particularly dramatic spectacle from July to October, the annual migration of huge herds of Gnus and zebras. Predators such as Hyenas, Jackals, Leopards and Lions of course, closely follow these herds. Gigantic herds of over 200 buffaloes can also be observed. Plenty of food is available for elephants, giraffes, and the many species of antelopes. Optional extra activities: Nature walks Balloon Safaris The traditional Masai village is called a Manyatta and consists of a number of small cow dung made huts with thatched roofs. The huts are placed in a circle with livestock in the middle and a thick thorny fence for protection against the nightly predators. First, they welcome you with some chanting. They also proceed to show how high they can jump and get you try jumping higher than them. With the assistance of a local Masai chief, you take the informative tour around the Manyatta, building fires without matches, how to make bracelets and necklaces with beeds and other exciting innovative experiences.    Day 04 - Masai Mara – Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, drive to Lake Naivasha with its commanding setting at the foot of the Rift Valley Escarpment. Lake Naivasha is an important horticultural area of Kenya. Lake Naivasha is a diverse bird and animal habitat, Colobus monkeys are often seen in the canopy of the Acacia forests around the lake, and on the north shore of the lake Buffalo, Waterbuck and Eland are often seen grazing. You will enjoy Boat Ride at Lake Naivasha. Lunch, dinner and overnight at your lodge. Day 7 Lake Naivasha National Park After breakfast, take a game drive in Hell's Gate National Park Return to the lodge for lunch Embark on a safari boat ride on Lake Naivasha Lake Naivasha Country Club or similar Breakfast, lunch & dinner Full Day Itinerary After breakfast, discover Hell's Gate National Park, named for the intense geothermal activity within its boundaries. It is a remarkable quarter of the Great Rift Valley. Spectacular scenery, including the towering cliffs, water-gouged gorges, stark rock towers, scrub-clad volcanoes, and belching plumes of geothermal steam, make it one of the most atmospheric parks in Africa. You may see African buffalo, zebra, eland, hartebeest, Thomson's gazelle, baboons, klipspringer antelope, and Chandler's mountain reedbuck. Return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a safari boat ride on Lake Naivasha. Day 2: ‘City of Merchants’ – Dubai City Tour In the morning after breakfast 0900hrs our representatives will take you for a fascinating historical excursion – as you discover the past, present and future of the Dubai city on a 4 hour tour. Firstly, stop at the Dubai Museum followed by boarding the water taxi or ‘Abra’ which will take you the other side of the Creek also known as Deira where you can shop and view the amazing Spice Souk and Gold Souk. Capture the tall towers which stand proud depicting the posh and luxurious lifestyle of the people of the country, which include Burj Al Arab – a hotel built on an artificially made island, Jumeirah Mosque – the only mosque which allows non-Muslims to enter The world tallest building. Day 3: ‘Desert Safari’ – Dune sundowner and Dinner In the morning after breakfast spend the morning relaxing by the poolside or in the room. You can decide to go shopping as well until in the afternoon 15.30hrs where our representatives will pick you you up for Desert Safari. Desert safari Dubai in evening is the much publicized and on top of the ten things to do when in Dubai. Drifting on the golden dunes, in a customized 4×4 Land Cruiser is an out of the world experience. The Land Cruiser are fitted with a full roll cage and include safety kits. All our desert safari drivers are trained for dune bashing and first aid in case of emergency. A tour fit for kids, adults, couples and familes! There is a lot to do on this tour other than the dune bashing. You will see old wooden dhows and luxury yachts, spectacular modern architecture, like the National Bank of Dubai and the Chamber of Commerce & Industry buildings, whilst Sheikh Saeed’s House, the birthplace of Sheikh Rashid and the Heritage Village are reminiscent of days gone by. • Above Tour cost based on 1 USD = 84.2 INR** as per Today i.e. Wednesday, April 17, 2024
• Any Increase in Airfare, Visa Fees, Airport Tax & Forex will be applicable.
• One can enroll His/Her name for the tour by paying 50% of the total tour cost for any tour as advance. The balance amount must be paid at least 30 days before schedule date of departure of the tour, without waiting for reminder from our side.
• Tourist travel at their own risk. Neither the tour operator nor their representative or staff accept any liability or responsibility for any damages, loss, injury, accident, etc. During the tour howsoever it might have caused.
• The operator also reserves the right to cancel or alter the routes, carriers, time table, itinerary and hotel accommodation with or without prior notice.
• Any increase in Train / Air / Bus / Visa / Cruise fares should be borne by the passenger only.
• The management reserves the right to take all necessary steps including suspending the passenger who creates trouble for the management or to other fellow passengers.
• During sight seeing we will take the vehicle to certain limit or to the permissible point only, from that point any arrangement to be made all extra expenses shall have to be borne by the passengers only.
• We always try to provide excellent services to our beloved passenger. Even though if any passenger has any complain or claim it must be given in writing to our office within 15 days after completion of the tour. No complain or claim will be entertained after such period.
• Refunds if any will be given after a period of 10 days from the date admissible claim. Refunds will be paid only by cheque and only against original Receipts. Hotels are subject to changes without Prior Notice.
• Timing mentioned for the journey are only estimated for the sake of knowledge. There are frequent changes of delay in arrival at the destination due to various reasons.
• The seats in the bus are allotted on First come First Serve basis at the time of booking of the tour.
• All disputes / legal claims are subject to Mumbai jurisdiction only.
• Extra bed in the room means only extra mattress. (No cot)
• In case of postponement of Inbound Journey date change charges Rs. 2000/- per pax per change shall be applicable.
• Any Govt. Tax levied must be borne by the passengers only.
• Preponement of journey is not allowed. It will be treated as cancellation & accordingly the cancellation charges will be applicable.
• If accommodation is not available in the identified / specific hotel for the particular package tour due to reason beyond our control, we shall make our best efforts to shift the clients to hotel maintaining / having more or less the same standard. No complaint or claim shall be made by the client in this respect.
• There is no REFUND payable for unutilized services during the course of tour. This includes meals, sight seeing, optional tours, hotels, etc.
• All the passengers will have to carry foreign currency of minimum USD 500 per person.
• Wonder Earth Tour acts as a representative of the passenger to apply Visa on his behalf with all the relevant documents as per the rules of the respective consulates. It is the passenger responsibility to comply with all the requirements of the respective consulates and obtain the Visa. We will not be responsible or liable for any additional expenses incurred due to non - availability of Visa, error in dates of Visa granted or scanned photograph on the Visa. In case of refusal of Visa all cancellation charges will be applicable including the non - refundable booking amount.
• If any Airline is delayed or Canceled, Wonder Earth Tour is not responsible for any compensation for Hotels, Meals, Sight Seeing or any other claim.

• We are travel agent and holiday organizers only and act as agent for clients on one side and the operators of various facilities on the other side in the best interest of the clients. We do not own any hotel, do not control or operate any airline and other services like transport, services of guide(s) or any individual services etc. Although we try our best to arrange and render best services yet we do not hold any responsibility on any account whatsoever of the performance of the hotel, airlines, guide services, transport services, opening of the sight seeing places, other services or anything else on which we do not have direct control. We do not bear any responsibility and shall not be liable, whatsoever for any dissatisfaction, loss of life and property, death, damages, etc. Caused by the act of default or employees of such Independent contractors and also consequences arising out of the natural calamities, strikes, breakdown in facilities, accidents, negligence, delay in any services of all concerned and for any act of commission or commission errors, etc. We shall not be responsible for any loss / damages / claim financial compensation and any liability in any respect and on any account whatsoever. It is advisable to take comprehensive insurance including illness, accidental or any other events.

Cancellation Charges:-

• If the Guest decides to cancel the tour for any reason whatsoever then s/he shall give a written application to the Company within specified time limit along with original receipt issued by the Company. Such cancellation will attract cancellation charges stated hereunder.
• Cancellation charges will be calculated on gross tour cost and the cancellation charges shall depend on date of departure and date of cancellation
• Cancellation charges for any type of transport ticket are applicable as per the rules of the concerned authority.
• Air tickets issued on special fares are NON REFUNDABLE and Guest shall bear cancellation charges.
• Any refund payable to the Guest will be paid after the Company receives refund from the respective authorities. The Company deducts processing charges from the refund to be paid to the Guest.
• From the date of booking to 46 days prior to the scheduled departure of tour . . . . . 25%

Kenya Airways Cancels Dubai Flights Over Floods

T he Kenya Airways has announced that it has cancelled flights following reports of floods and severe weather in the Dubai United Arab Emirates (UAE). 

In a statement, KQ indicated that it cancelled one flight on Tuesday, April 16th and another one on Wednesday, April 17th. 

Further, the company advised customers to exercise patience as it continued to monitor the situation in conjunction with Dubai authorities. 

“Due to severe weather and ongoing flooding in the United Arab Emirates, which has led to operational challenges, Kenya Airways cancelled one flight into and out of Dubai yesterday, Tuesday, April 16th, 2024, and one today, Wednesday, April 17th, 2024.

“We sincerely apologize to our customers for any inconvenience resulting from this situation. We are monitoring the situation and are in close contact with Dubai authorities to minimize the inconvenience and disruption to our customers’ travels,” the statement read in part.

Historic Floods in Dubai 

Dubai in the UAE has been hit by flooding that submerged roads and vehicles and caused flight diversions.

According to the Dubai weatherman, 158mm of rain fell in 24 hours, equivalent to the typical yearly average amount of rainfall received in the area.

Furthermore, on Tuesday, April 16, severe thunderstorms and heavy rain showers in the United Arab Emirates led to the cancelation of flights and delays which affected airports nationwide.

Dubai International Airport had to divert inbound flights due to intensified storms and heavy rain which caused flooding and submerged roads.

According to meteorological data collected at Dubai International Airport, the rains began on Monday, April 15, soaking the sands and roads of Dubai with 20mm of rain.

Impact of the Rainfall 

Due to the rainfall, schools across the UAE remained closed and most government employees were directed to work from home. Those who drove out were trapped by the raging waters and the engines of their cars destroyed and, in many cases, submerged.

Authorities dispatched tanker trucks to streets and highways to pump out the water. In Ras al-Khaimah, the country’s northernmost emirate, police reported that a 70-year-old man died when his vehicle was swept away by floods.
