Miranda Lambert Announces North American Tour
Country music star Miranda Lambert is hitting the road, embarking on a nationwide tour in 2024 in support of her latest album, Palomino . The singer announced 12 dates, spanning from May to September, with special guests Gavin Adcock, Wade Bowen, and Calder Allen on select dates.
The tour is scheduled to kick off on May 24 in New Braunfels, Texas for three nights at Whitewater Amphitheater. From there, Lambert is set to visit various cities such as Hinckley, Lincoln, Canandaigua, and Atlantic City before wrapping up on September 27 in Gautier, Mississippi at The Sound Amphitheater.
In addition to her headline dates, the “Mama’s Broken Heart” singer is slated to make appearances at several music festivals, starting with Rock the Country Festival on April 19 in Ashland. Other festival appearances include Stagecoach on April 27 and Under the Big Sky Festival on July 13.
This tour marks Lambert’s return to the stage following her Velvet Rodeo residency in Las Vegas, which began in September 2023 and wrapped up on April 6, 2024.
“I’ve been touring since I was 19 years old,” Lambert stated. “So it was nice to step away from the road for a bit and settle into Vegas. That gave us time to miss touring, though, so I cannot wait to get back out there on Elvira, my home away from home, and visit the fans across the country that we haven’t seen in a while.”

Miranda lambert announces 2024 tour dates.
Posted by Buddy Iahn | Apr 8, 2024
Shows kick off on April 19th
With the twice-extended Velvet Rodeo residency having come to a close in Las Vegas this weekend, Miranda Lambert will now bring her dynamic live show to a series of one-off dates across the country this summer, with additional shows to be added in the coming weeks.
Joining headlining sets at Stagecoach, Rock the Country, Calgary Stampede, Under the Big Sky and more, as well as a three-night stand at Whitewater Amphitheater in her home state of Texas, the three-time Grammy winner now adds six shows throughout July, August, and September spanning from coast to coast. Tickets to the newly added dates go on sale to the general public this Friday, April 12th at 10 am local time.
“I’ve been touring since I was 19 years old, so it was nice to step away from the road for a bit and settle into Vegas,” reflects Lambert. “That gave us time to miss touring though, so I cannot wait to get back out there on Elvira, my home away from home, and visit the fans across the country that we haven’t seen in a while.”
Lambert’s Velvet Rodeo kicked off at Planet Hollywood’s Bakkt Theater in September of 2022, spanning 48 total shows in 18 months. During that time, she released cross-genre collaborations with both Leon Bridges and Enrique Iglesias while also intentionally taking time to write and record new music of her own; launched her label imprint , Big Loud Texas; and even added New York Times best-selling author to her lengthy list of accolades with the release of her book, Y’all Eat Yet?

Miranda Lambert (born November 10th 1983) is an American country music star from Longview, Texas, USA, who first gained success after becoming a finalist on the 2003 season of Nashville Star.
Lambert began her career at a young age, appearing at various talent shows in Texas, eventually acquiring a recording session in Nashville, US. She also fronted the house band of the Reo Palm Isle in her hometown of Longview for a period, the same place where Brooks & Dunn had first began their career.
Having won the talent competition, Nashville Star, Lambert went on to sign with Epic Records, releasing her debut album "Kerosene" in 2005. The album was highly successful, debuting at number one on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart, eventually gaining Platinum certification, selling over one million copies. The album produced four top 40 singles on the Billboard Country charts.
She continued the success of "Kerosene" with her second full length album, "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" (2007), topping the country album charts and reaching number six on the Billboard 200 charts. Her album also won album of the year at the Academy of Country Music Awards (ACM). She was also nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Female Country Vocal Performance for her single "Kerosene."
Her third album, "Revolution" received critical acclaim upon its release, proving her talent as a songwriter. The album's second single "White Liar" was a a top five hit, reaching number two on the Billboard's Hot Country chart, with a number one achieved later with her third single "The House That Built Me." Her talents were awarded with a Grammy Award in 2011, for Vest Female Country Vocal Performance for the single. Two more releases maintained Lambert's stature and respect in the world of country music, fairing well in the US charts.
Speaking of her music, Lambert said "I don't write about angels, Jesus, happy days, kids. I grew up on drinkin', cheatin', love gone bad." This describes her brand of country music well, as it is not happy-go-lucky country pop, instead it is more serious tales of hardship, performed with her powerful voice.
Live reviews
Nashville certainly did find a star in Miranda Lambert. Since breaking into the mainstream with the rocking riffs of "Kerosene," Lambert hasn't slowed down a second.
Following her debut, Lambert has rounded out her sound so well, not one lady in country music right now can come close to her style. With songs such as "Gunpowder & Lead" and "Baggage Claim," she has brought back the lady outlaw style, the likes of which which we haven't seen since the golden days of Jessi Colter and Emmylou Harris. Now, as the current queen of country, Lambert's performances are a force to be reckoned with. In just the first few seconds of her set, Lambert will often captivate her sold out audience with the ever allusive intro to "Mama's Broken Heart." She'll then follow with crowd-pleasing, small town anthems, such as "All Kinds of Kinds" and "Only Prettier." Though the sound differs exponentially, Lambert's sassy southern charm will fit right in with tear-jerking ballads, such as "Over You." And let us not forget that Lambert often brings her partners in crime on the road with her, Ashley Monroe and Angaleena Presley, better known as the Pistol Annies. These three ladies provide a seductive, sometimes scary addition to Lambert's typical setlist, one any music lover should regret missing. With the release and success of Lambert's fifth studio album, "Platinum," it doesn't seem that this lady outlaw is stopping any time soon, proving country music is truly running with the fastest girl in town.
Report as inappropriate
Miranda Lambert is known as one of the hardest working women in country music. A genre that is often dominated by men, Lambert holds her own with her rock heavy sounds and energetic live performance. Often onstage for close to two hours, the front woman does not stand still for a moment as she conducts her tight live band through a setlist of hits.
Her fans enthusiasm spurs the singer on to rock out harder as with guitar in hand she really adds some grunge and noise to tracks such as 'Platinum' and 'Priscilla'. A great rapport is built early on with her crowd as she regales them with stories of her beginnings and the meanings behind some of her most infamous hits such as 'Kerosene'.
She also dedicates some of her more heartfelt work such as 'The House That Built Me' to her husband Blake Shelton who she assures the audience has supported her throughout her career. A rip stomping version of one of her most recognisable songs 'White Liar' brings an enjoyable and unexpectedly raucous show to a close.
on 21st August 2017 I attend Miranda Lambert concert, the concert very good, I'm very new to listening to Miranda and only have the last two albums. Therefore some of the songs were new to me. However I was disappointed how concert ended, Miranda left the stage and presumed she would return to perform an encore. How ever with the crowd shouting More,More. However she never came back on stage. Having been looking forward to concert and enjoying the majority of it. It ended disappointingly. Her band were very good and Miranda did try her best to encourage to get up and dance and enjoy themselves and most people were. Overall very good and would go back to see her, but the fact no encore was disappointing and I presume the decision is her.
Such a great line up of talent on the Keeper of the Flame tour...Brothers Osbourne, Kip Moore & Miranda... All superstars in their own right but Miranda definitely shined the brightest. She is just crazy talented and a badass to boot. I'm older than her but I still want to be her when I grow up! Best moment of the concert for me was when she pulled a sign up from a soldier in the audience that said "Three combat tours. Your voice was the last thing I listened to every night. THANK YOU!" Miranda cried and everyone in the audience cried with her. It was just a very real moment. It was an amazing night!!
Show was absolutely 100% awesome!! Miranda put on one helluva show. She sang a great mix of her older songs along with her new songs recently released on her Wildcard album. She was full of energy and kept the crowd involved during the show.
Maren Morris was before Miranda and she was also great. She also revealed that she was pregnant which was kinda cool.
If I had to rate this concert on a scale of 1-10, I would give it a 9.8 since I don’t believe anyone is ever perfect. If you haven’t seen her in concert, I would definitely recommend you purchase tickets and go see her energy packed show!
Epic show in a excellent venue!
Ward Thomas is very promising indeed, the twin sisters did a fine job as support-act.
Miranda was excellent, great show full of energy. It was her first time in The Netherlands and she was a little nervous at the beginning of the show. But the enthusiastic reception of the Dutch fans calmed her nerves quickly. Lot's of hits, room for emotional songs as well. Had a blast!
Nice review (in dutch) here: https://country-music.nl/miranda-lambert-en-ward-thomas-live-in-caprera-bloemendaal/
Wow....this was my second live performance to see Miss Miranda in person !!! She commands the stag with grace and talent beyond belief. She's spot on on every song. One right after the other. Her play set got the crowd going. Singing along to every word. Couldn't have been a better evening (she even got the rain to stop) on my 61st bday....can't thank her enough for spending her life singing to us...three bars and the truth. She's America's Sweetheart!!!!
I've seen 100's of concerts. Anything from metal to classical and Miranda Lambert is my favorite artist in concert. Her shows get better every time I see her. The shows are well produced but Miranda makes the show feel like you're all just hanging out jamming in the garage. She takes a large arena and makes it an intimate setting. The sound quality of her shows is second to none. You can even hear the high hat from the drummer!
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! Miranda always has an amazing show and definitely makes sure her fans have a great time. Filling the “Little Red Wagon” for “Mutt Nation” was a pleasure. Miranda definitely cares deeply for dogs and her fans make sure they do their part to help fill that wagon with dog food, toys, treats and monetary donations. Miranda, thank you for all you do for Mutt Nation!!! We LOVE you!!!
Miranda last night was energetic, smiling, crying, heart-felt and all around wonderful. I have now seen her three times--and I think it had to do with where I was last night. I was in the Pit--standing room only with my friends and we had an absolute blast! She was so close and you could really feel her energy. She was terrific--if you can, splurge and get floor tickets. You will not be disappointed!

Miranda Lambert Joining Chris Stapleton’s 2024 Tour for One Night Only
Chris Stapleton has added three new dates to his 2024 All-American Road Show , including one stop with Miranda Lambert in the summer.
Lambert will join the lineup for one date in her home state of Texas, at Houston's Minute Maid Park. Grace Potter is also performing as part of the lineup. The event is set for Aug. 24, 2024, and tickets go on sale Dec. 15. However, pre-sales are available, and Lambert's RanFan fan club members will have first dibs on Dec. 14.
Dec. 15 is also the on-sale date for Stapleton's two other newly announced 2024 shows, which will take place in Tampa, Fla., on May 10 and Arlington, Texas, on June 16. Potter is also opening the Tampa show, along with Nikki Lane, and the Tedeschi Trucks Band and Marcus King will open for Stapleton in Arlington.
Elsewhere on Stapleton's 2024 tour calendar, his All-American Road Show will feature performances from Lainey Wilson, Willie Nelson & Family, Sheryl Crow, the War and Treaty and many others. The 2024 iteration of his All-American Road Show kicks off in early March, and it'll keep him busy through August.
Stapleton is also planning a short list of stadium dates in support of George Strait in 2024; Little Big Town will join the bill for those shows.
Lambert has a busy calendar coming up, too. She's currently wrapping up her Velvet Rodeo Las Vegas Residency — an engagement that's been going on since fall 2022 — and just announced the final string of dates for late March and early April 2024.

Miranda Lambert Announces Final Las Vegas Residency Dates for 2024
by Em Casalena December 4, 2023, 11:42 am
Miranda Lambert’s Velvet Rodeo: The Las Vegas Residency is coming to a close, but the country starlet recently announced nine final performance dates that are going on sale soon! Lambert’s residency has been going strong for over a year now at the Bakkt Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.
Videos by American Songwriter
The residency will continue at the Bakkt Theater and the final dates will kick off on March 20, 2024 and close on April 6. Some tickets are still available for the last few December performances of 2023.
In a press release that announced the final dates, Lambert talked about how the residency has given her a new perspective on touring in one spot for a residency, rather than touring across the world. “As someone who’s lived on a bus and toured from city-to-city for more than half my life, having a Vegas residency has been such a fun change of pace creatively,” Lambert said, “The band and I are excited to keep this party going!”
Presale tickets will be available on December 5 at 10:00 am local via Ticketmaster and Lambert’s website . The tour is also sponsored by Citi, and Citi customers will also be able to access their own presale event .
If you want to catch the show earlier, seats are still available for her December performances via Ticketmaster and Stubhub . General ticket sales will go live on December 8 at 10:00 am local via Ticketmaster and Stubhub. We recommend giving Stubhub a try if you miss the presale dates, as these tickets will not be available for very long. And with Stubhub, users can enjoy the platform’s FanProtect program for some peace of mind.

The band has been promoting its critically acclaimed new album since it arrived on October 20. The following week, they took over New York City club Racket NYC to celebrate the release of the album, which marked the band’s first album of new material in 18 years. During that performance, the group invited Lady Gaga on stage to offer up a thrilling rendition of “Sweet Sounds of Heaven.” A live video recording of that performance is out now.
With DJ Questlove spinning, the celebration quickly turned into a rock show when Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, and Ronnie Wood took the stage to perform seven songs from the new album and iconic hits—“Shattered,” “Angry,” “Whole Wide World,” “Tumbling Dice,” “Bite My Head Off,” “Jumpin’ Jack Flash,” and the aforementioned “Sweet Sounds.”
In an interview with us also from October, Jagger revealed that the band hadn’t planned on waiting 18 years between albums. “We recorded a lot of stuff and we did a lot of sessions,” he tells us. “But there was no deadline, there was no ‘Let’s finish these next week,’ none of that. It was just ‘Do two weeks’ recording’ and then there were no plans to come back together again.”

Miranda Lambert returns with same fury as 'Gunpower & Lead' on new single 'Wranglers'
Miranda lambert's latest single, "wranglers," arrives on may 3, 2024. it's her first new music since signing with republic records six months ago..
Miranda Lambert's latest single, "Wranglers," arrives on May 3.
The three-time Grammy-winning, seven-time Country Music Association Female Vocalist of the Year and five-time Academy of Country Music Album of the Year winner's 41st year on Earth finds her in greater control of her artistic and creative direction than ever.
As of November 2023 , she's been announced as having moved from her 18-year home at Sony Nashville to becoming a Republic Records-signed artist and Big Loud Texas imprint co-founder alongside frequent collaborator and singer-songwriter Jon Randall.
'Wranglers' is about taking power back
Via a press statement, Lambert notes that "Wranglers," her first new music via Republic Records, is the tale of an easily identifiable female protagonist "taking her power back" by getting "a little revenge on someone that did us wrong or hurt us."
Recent social media posts by Lambert have alluded to prior songs in her catalog of a similar ilk, including 2007's "Gunpowder & Lead" and 2011's "Mama's Broken Heart."
"Music is and always will be the thing that drives me, but having a new home has given me a hunger I didn't realize I still had inside me. This song feels like it could be on the same record as 'Gunpowder & Lead'; it has that same fury," Lambert says.
"Miranda Lambert's legacy as both a consummate storyteller and legendary performer speaks for itself. Her new music is spectacular and we are thrilled and honored to welcome her to Republic Records in partnership with Big Loud," says Republic Records founder and chairman Monte Lipman.
"We're honored Miranda Lambert has entrusted us with this next chapter of her career," adds Republic President and COO Jim Roppo. "As she puts the final touches on her fantastic new body of work, it has all the hallmarks of her signature sound, yet she continues to push herself as a songwriter, producer and performer. We're all at the beginning of a very special moment, and we're grateful to be on this journey with her."
On recording new music
In November, Lambert noted that her label moved related directly to her adventuresome desire to "constantly (look) for the next challenge and a new way to stretch my creativity."
Six months later, about that creative challenge, she adds the following: "Being in Texas with Jon Randall, recording where I cut my teeth as a young artist, felt like coming home. I thought about the women — and men — who've lived, loved and found power in my music, and I wanted to get back to the root of those spaces.
"Signing with Republic has inspired me to find the sweet spot for me and all the people like me. I can't wait for everyone to hear 'Wranglers' and the rest of this record."
Recent concerts
Lambert has recently wrapped her twice-extended, 48-show Velvet Rodeo residency at the Bakkt Theater inside the Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. She will also play at Stagecoach Festival in Indio, California, on April 27. This will be followed by a three-night stand at the iconic Whitewater Amphitheater in New Braunfels, Texas, and concerts from coast to coast.
With tour dates running throughout July, August and September, Lambert is also headlining festivals including Rock the Country, Calgary Stampede, Under the Big Sky and more.

Country star Miranda Lambert has inked a deal with Republic Records , with the first single under the new contract, “Wranglers,” set to come out May 3, and her tenth solo album to follow later this year.
Although she’s signed to the pop label for future recordings, the deal involves a partnership with another label under the Universal Music umbrella, Big Loud , handling country radio promotion and marketing.
“Music is and always will be the thing that drives me, but having a new home has given me a hunger I didn’t realize I still had inside me,” Lambert said in a statement, noting that “Wranglers” “feels like it could be on the same record as ‘Gunpowder & Lead’ [her first top 10 country hit, in 2008]; it has that same fury. I can’t wait to get out there with this new label and this new music. Monte Lipman and his team fire me up. … Talking to Monte, Avery Lipman and the team at Republic, as well as Seth and the Big Loud folks who are leaning in, everyone understood my desires and vision for this next era of my music. Aligning like that is empowering; it gives you a license to really chase it. Signing with Republic has inspired me to find the sweet spot for me and all the people like me. I can’t wait for everyone to hear ‘Wranglers,’ and the rest of this record.”
Lambert’s announcement early Tuesday solved a riddle that began when she revealed to the world 13 months ago that she was leaving Sony Nashville, the label home she’d had for her entire 20-year career, Sony Nashville, to become a free agent. Lambert said in a statement in March 2023 that she “wouldn’t be true to myself if I wasn’t constantly looking for the next challenge and a new way to stretch my creativity. With that in mind, I’ve decided to say goodbye to my Sony family. I can’t wait to see what the next adventure holds.”
Pictured in the signing announcement photo above are Republic’S EVP and CFO Joe Schmidt, founder and vice chairman Avery Lipman, president and COO Jim Roppo, Lambert, founder and chairman Monte Lipman and, from the Big Loud side, that label’s CEO, Seth England.
Lambert will be headlining the Stagecoach Festival in the California desert on Saturday night, in a show being livestreamed over Prime Video. With “Wranglers” not set to be released until the following Friday, it remains to be seen whether the singer might premiere new music at the festival gig for the live and streaming audiences or hold it in reserve for the official release date.
Lambert’s final album with Sony was “Palomino,” released two years ago this month. During her tenure with that company, she had No. 1 hits with “The House That Built Me,” “Heart Like Mine,” “Over You,” “Somethin’ Bad” and “Bluebird.” She’s also appeared as the featured artist on No. 1 country singles by Keith Urban, Jason Aldean and Elle King. She achieved one of the genre’s highest honors when she was given the entertainer of the year award at the ACM Awards in 2022.
In respective statements, Republic founder-chairman Monte Lipman spoke to their new signee’s strength as “both a consummate storyteller and legendary performer,” while the label’s president-COO, Jim Roppo, enthused about being “at the beginning of a very special moment” as Lambert “puts the final touches on her fantastic new body of work… We’re grateful to be on this journey with her.”
That Big Loud Records would be involved somehow in Lambert’s career was already established. Last fall she and her frequent collaborator Jon Randall announced a partnership with Big Loud to launch a new imprint, BIg Loud Texas, through which the two singer-songwriters will directly sign and develop talent.
After Stagecoach, Lambert has other country festivals and individual dates booked through the end of September. Earlier this month, she wrapped up her “Velvet Rodeo” residency at Planet Hollywood, which spanned 48 shows that took place over the last 18 months.
During the period between leaving Sony and announcing her Republic deal, Lambert had released one independent single on her own Vanner imprint, a duet with Leon Bridges titled “If You Were Mine,” last July. She also released a cooking/lifestyle book, “Y’All Eat Yet?: Welcome to the Pretty B*tchin Kitchen,” which debuted at No. 3 on the New York Times bestseller list.

Miranda Lambert Inks with Republic/UMG in Big Loud Partnership — New Album Plus Stagecoach Next
Miranda Lambert signs with Republic Records/UMG in a deal with Big Loud, hot on the heels of the release of her latest solo music and an upcoming appearance at Stagecoach Festival.
After wrapping up her twice-extended Velvet Rodeo residency in Las Vegas, Miranda Lambert inks a deal with Republic Records , including support from Nashville-based Big Loud. The deal includes country radio promotion as well as other marketing efforts.
“Music is and always will be the thing that drives me, but having a new home has given me a hunger I didn’t realize I still had inside me,” says Lambert. “I can’t wait to get out there with this new label and this new music — Monte Lipman and his team fire me up!”
The announcement comes in time for the release of Lambert’s first new solo music since 2022, with “Wranglers,” arriving on May 3. And fans worldwide can tune into her highly anticipated appearance at Stagecoach Festival on Saturday, April 27, via the Amazon Music livestream and SiriusXM’s The Highway.
“Miranda Lambert’s legacy as both a consummate storyteller and legendary performer speaks for itself. Her new music is spectacular, and we are thrilled and honored to welcome her to Republic Records in partnership with Big Loud,” says Republic Founder and Chairman, Monte Lipman.
“We’re honored Miranda Lambert has entrusted us with this next chapter of her career,” adds Republic President and Chief Operating Officer, Jim Roppo. “As she puts the final touches on her fantastic new body of work, it has all the hallmarks of her signature sound, yet she continues to push herself as a songwriter, producer, and performer. We’re all at the beginning of a very special moment, and we’re grateful to be on this journey with her.”
Last November, Lambert and Jon Randall announced a strategic partnership with Seth England and Big Loud Records , launching the imprint Big Loud Texas.
“Being in Texas with Jon, recording where I cut my teeth as a young artist, felt like coming home. I thought about the women — and men — who’ve lived, loved, and found power in my music, and I wanted to get back to the root of those spaces,” Lambert explains. “Talking to Monte, Avery Lipman and the team at Republic, as well as Seth and the Big Loud folks who are leaning in, everyone understood my desires and vision for this next era of my music.”
“Aligning like that is empowering; it gives you a license to really chase it. Signing with Republic has inspired me to find the sweet spot for me and all the people like me. I can’t wait for everyone to hear ‘Wranglers,’ and the rest of this record.”
