I terrible service! Do not waste your money. I received a phone call while waiting for my bags. He wanted me to call him when in the lounge, I reminded him I had paid for meet and greet, then he complained about the cost of parking. When I got through he was stood there however on his phone. He then went to grab my carryon. I gave him the larger bag. He raced through the car park still on his phone, not looking where I was. Complained when I wanted my carryon case with my laptop in the back. The car was not clean and just looked grubby. Did not have my address he said it was in his email. The whole journey was tense and not pleasant. I contacted the company afterwards, no apology because the driver denied everything. Don't expect to get any customer service or accountability from this company.

Had to give him directions as he was going the long way round and we travelled in complete silence (Awkward)!Also as I have a walking stick he didn't open the sliding door for me and when I asked he slammed the door after me and slightly caught my fingers but thankfully my reflexes saved me from a more serious injury. I must say though my previous driver on the last two occasions was excellent.

We were charged £19 extra for the time it took us to get to the taxi, while it was typical time it takes for anyone to get out of the airport. I never paid attention to the small print/T's and C's which they have as part of their booking to rip people off. When I challenged this unfair charge, instead of helping, the OTS agent instructed the driver to hold us on the roadside until the over-charge dispute was settled while OTS had my card details from the original booking and all I requested was to allow me to reach home and read OTS T's and C's at my convenience. We felt very unsafe and went through a lot of stress due to the OTS behaviour. I am infuriated at the way I and my family were treated during this pickup service. I have never had a Taxi experience like this in my whole life. I have been travelling for 20 plus years. No other taxi company ever pressurised me over time to get out of airport like this. As a passenger I would expect a Taxi company who is doing airport transfers to be sensible about the business they are in and factor in some flexibility of the time it takes to collect baggage and go through immigration. I had kept driver updated about our whereabouts within the airport the whole time. The driver confirmed over phone that he would leave for airport once I have collected the baggage and that's exactly what he did. So the driver hardly waited for 5-10 mins at the airport. Hence the waiting charge is highly unfair. What made it worse was that driver instructed us to get to drop off lane for pick up which is against the law and it took us extra time to find the place and we were charged for that time too when we should have been picked from the arrivals parking. So the two reasons given to me to justify extra waiting charges i.e. extra parking charges and extra waiting time, both don't really apply in this case. Needless to say, I will never use OTS again after this horrible experience.

We waited nearly an hour at the exit to International arrivals. We hadchanged phone détails but that,,and our position was relayed to the office. It seems these détails had not been transmitted to the driver. He was very apologetic and the ride to our destination was efficient.

GET AN UBER OTS's driver was unable to direct me to the pickup spot at Gatwick South Terminal. Although we initially communicated by text, he called me while I was walking out of the airport to tell me the pickup location - undoubtedly the most important information for the passenger to know. I had to tell him many times (speaking on the phone and also by text) that I was having difficulty hearing him due to a bad connection. I repeatedly requested that he text me this information and he refused to do so. I even texted him my precise location in the parking garage (where, as best as I could tell because it was hard to hear him, I thought he had directed me to go). He grew increasingly rude and began our last call by shouting at me. I did not feel happy or safe to ride with him after that, nor was I inclined to further trust a company that would employ such a driver. As OTS never shared his name or badge/license number with me I cannot identify this driver specifically, and so I can only recommend that passengers (especially solo female travellers) avoid this company altogether. Luckily, I was able to get an Uber home; with Uber, I was provided with clear, precise directions to the pickup location, the fare was lower, and the driver was communicative and treated me with courtesy and respect the entire time. Meanwhile, OTS refuses to issue me a refund. I do not often leave online reviews, but my experience with this company was so shocking that I wanted to share it here and give passengers a chance to avoid a similar negative experience. Get home safe, everybody.

Avoid at any circumstances, even if you have to walk! Charging you upfront without providing any service and then you need to end up in court to get your losses back. Bottom line company! Avoid!

I booked a driver for a morning flight and unfortunately the driver was late by 30 mins which caused a lot of stress during the journey (and made us fairly late for the check-in process)! The driver also only informed us that he was going to be late a few mins before the scheduled arrival time which we thought was quite unprofessional as we thought more notice would be given. In the future I would recommend drivers account for potential rush hour traffic to ensure they arrive earlier/on time as scheduled.

Booked their service for my guest. Paid 90 GBP booking fee, however, the driver claimed 12 GBP is required to be paid for extra wait time. The issue and the frustration emerged because the driver started the trip and decided to pull over in the middle of the road because of the extra 12 GBP and asked my guest out of his car. If he didn't leave the airport there would have been no issue, and even if he spent extra time parking to settle the issue and the discussion eventually broke down, the company would have still had enough to cater for the extra parking time because I already made the payment. I explained to their customer care that I had already paid 90GBP for the trip and would like to talk to my guest to confirm the exit time they landed and came out of the airport in order to calculate the wait time but the customer care insisted the driver would need to pull over. Avoid using their service, the driver was very rude, their customer care don't care, they know they have your booking fee and they take undue advantage of that.

pre booked onward travel solutions pick up from stansted airport and supplied all necessary flight details paid upfront in full in advance. upon arrival no one in arrivals hall to collect and stansted airport had never heard of them. officer from stansted airport information phoned onward travel solutions to inform them i was waiting but they did not know where their driver was. told the officer that i should wait 10 minutes and someone would arrive to collect. i waited almost 30 minutes no one arrived so i had to find another taxi and pay again. onward travel solutions rather than apologise when i phoned upon arriving at my home were rude aggressive and refused to refund. this company has no morals and no respect for customers i was left alone and stranded by them. beware use a firm who is reputable and honest this firm is not because i have complained to their licensing authority regarding their shameful service and they have responded with untruth and false claims

On the outbound journey the Toyota Prius, the guy had, was really dirty inside, plus he was 15 min late. On the return ride the car was fine, it's just that I paid £5 for the guy to meet me at the arrivals, unfortunately he was late. I guess there was no point in buying that...

We used this taxi company on the 17th October to the airport..(Manchester)driver was on time, very polite lovely car, got us there in plenty of time, we then returned on the 24th , different driver, but was again very polite, we were his first customers , the car was lovely, he stayed In touch, very well mannered. Please don’t use this company

Please don’t use this company, the drivers never get paid I have done 8 jobs with them they forward it to scam 3rd parties they do not pay to driver. when i contacted them they just said sorry we can't do anything

I wouldn’t use this company again

I wouldn’t use this company again. In essence they are an agent that drivers just accept jobs for, my driver turned up 50 mins late and said he had a puncture when it seemed more he woke up late, the car was dirty with grass and mud on the floor and stains behind the chairs. There was a disused disposable vape on the back seat, the passenger front seat was all the way back with the seat pretty much horizontal, the car smelt of BO and the driver was riding the cats eyes most of the way, it looked like his eyes were mostly closed for most of the journey to. He was also using his mobile phone as a sat nav which isn’t a problem but he had the phone on his leg which I think is illegal, he was also reading text and messaging back all while driving and he was playing his music. He should have a cradle for it and while driving a client he shouldn’t be messaging people nor should I have to listen to music I haven’t asked for. I paid for the executive category and it wasn’t cheap so I do expect a level of service, I also paid for meet and great but I had to meet the driver outside in the rain as I was fed up of waiting for so long. Next time il find a local driver and hopefully the money goes to someone who wants to provide a decent service. My driver going to the airport was very good, nice clean car, front seat pulled forward and his driving was excellent so seems very much “luck of the draw” which is why I’ll look locally from now on.

Pleasant Journey

The driver turned up 5 minutes early, texted me so I could easily find him outside the hotel. The car was clean (looked recently hoovered) and the journey was pleasant. We arrived slightly earlier than I expected but not because he was exceeding speed limits (which he wasn't). I have to say I was slightly dreading it having read other reviews (after booking), but I found a nice friendly driver and excellent service.

Excellent price and service

Excellent price and service. Very smart and modern Mercedes car left us feeling like we were being chauffeured rather than taxied! The driver was extremely smart and polite and offered us bottled mineral water on arrival. Above my expectations and would recommend to anyone, will be booking with you on our next trip in December.

Booked a taxi from Bristol airport to Hereford hospital for my nephew who travelled from Madrid to come and see his dying grandfather. None of us wanted to leave my dad as it was obvious his time was near. I was worried as I had read the reviews and it felt like real leap of faith as I had no idea who this company was but had read some of these reviews. I hassled them quite a bit about the booking - even considering cancelling it as I was so nervous about my nephew being stranded. His flight was delayed 2 hours getting in around 1am . The driver was there , no issues at all and drive my nephew back to us without any problems whatsoever- other than him missing his grandad by 10 minutes 😞 So thank you x

I have now used Onward Travel Solutions…

I have now used Onward Travel Solutions for 6 journeys to Heathrow and 6 journeys home from Heathrow. All the drivers have been polite and on time and most keeping me up to date with their whereabouts. The cars have been spotless and the drivers friendly and helpful. Booking is very easy and when I had a flight cancelled in Sicily due to Volcanic ash it was no problem rebooking with text and email Booking details come by return with drivers numbers The cost is considerably less than my local companies which is a bonus

I have been using OTS for 8 years

I have been using OTS for 8 years. They have never let me down and always offer the keenest prices. They have access to some fabulous drives. Yesterday, as I came through the airport with my 91 year old mum the driver was stunningly polite, charming and helpful. I recommend this company

Driver contacted us way in advance

Driver contacted us way in advance, reminding us where he would meet us etc at the airport and reminding us to confirm when we had arrived. That made it easier for us, we didn’t have to remember to make the first call to him. Driver was punctual, pleasant. We will use this company again.

Shocked to read previous reviews

Shocked to read previous reviews. For us this company was great. We had rebooked and paid for a journey from Gatwick to Victoria Station as the trains were on strike. Our airline company cancelled our flight but we kept the company well informed of this and even though there was a lot of disruption for us the driver was waiting at the airport and drove us straight to Heathrow in a lovely clean Mercedes. Personally I couldn't fault the service we had that day.

Never Use This Company Absolutely…

Never Use This Company Absolutely SHOCKING DRIVER & company DONT CARE !!!!!! Our journey was quite the wild ride yesterday. On winding 2-lane roads signed for 30mph Mohammed was careening around corners at 55-60 mph, and passing cars and lorries on blind curves. When we asked him to please slow down he went even faster. We know you are not responsible for his behavior but we’ll report him to the City of Edinburgh Council, Licensing Section. Even our friend Bob, a former air force helicopter pilot in Vietnam, was very concerned. 😳

No responsibility taken for their services.

Booking made with the help of online chat with one of their booking agents. Full adress was given but with one erroneous digit in the postcode. The adress wasn't crosschecked and the fact that it didn't match the postcode was not caught by the booking agent. The driver blindly navigated to the postcode which resulted in a wrong drop off followed by additional charges directly debited from credit card. Although the booking was made and confirmed with the full correct adress this company denies any liability for their part in the booking process through their chat functionality. Very unprofessional! Don't expect any help from customer service if anything goes wrong. Any suggestion to solve this issue was declined. Very customer unfriendly! By the way, the driver showed up 30 minutes late. I guess it happens.

It was a great experience

It was a great experience. It felt as you are being received by a friend. The office staff was very considerate and helped to coordinate by themselves rather than me calling them. They were considered enough to make even last minute changes to the trip details and the driver Mr Ghulam was an absolute gem if a person. He was considered to even pick us 40 minutes early than the mentioned time, as we got through immigration swiftly. He helped with the heavy luggage. The office staff and the driver, their coordination was absolutely great and made the journey comfortable. I highly recommend this services and would be happy to use this service again.

Booking - excellent service. Notice of driver allocated etc. Pick up from home - driver on time and very courteous. Pick up from airport not so smooth. Driver in Arrivals as requested but had to walk, with suitcases, to another car park across the road. Driver not in pick up zone close to airport.

I wish I read the reviews before I booked a taxi with this firm. Unprofessional company and for your own sanity use a reliable firm them at don’t over charge. I paid for the taxi and then they had the check to ask the passengers to pay more money. The passengers didn’t pay and I received another invoice. I’ll be disappointed if they take the money out of my account, if so this is theft.

Run away from them

Worst experience ever. I lost my flight to an incompetent driver who was 45 late to my booking, got lost on the road and left me and my boyfriend at 30 minutes from our destination when the battery of the car died. Had to book an Uber and spend £900 pounds for new flight tickets. Run away from this company.

Misleading Customer services and poor attitude of booking staff, they don't have their own drivers. Stay away from this company.

I’ve now used OTS for a few years for my airport drop offs and pick ups at Edinburgh airport. I recently had a delay in my flight home and had to change the booking. The online chat customer service was quick and efficient, they put the booking on hold for 365 days until I received my new flight details. I then rebooked a driver the next day and all the confirmations came through very soon after. I would highly recommend this company.

Good value, easy to book and reliable. I have used this company several times and would use them again. Docking one star because one of my drivers made derogatory remarks about LGBTQ+ community which I felt I had to respond to (I am not LGBTQ+ myself so perhaps he felt it was ok to say something). We had a very uncomfortable conversation.

Paid £65 for a journey that that’s just cost me £35 in a black cab from Edinburgh airport to the grass market area. There was supposed to be a pick up service and they arrived 30minutes late. Taxi driver was a nice guy but OTS service rubbish and they are clearly just an expensive middleman. Best avoided.

Flexibility in changing booking

I made a booking for a mini bus about 3 months in advance. Our travel plans changed and the size of party decreased thus I needed a small car. I emailed them and they literally responded within 5 minutes. They agreed to downsize my car and give me a refund. I SO appreciate the timeliness of their help and their willingness to change my booking. I will leave another review when I actually use the transportation pickup in a few months!

Reliable, professional and friendly service

The company contacted me the night before, via e-mail and text to confirm my early morning pick up. I then also received a confirmation WhatsApp message from my driver which was very reassuring when my pickup was in the the early hours of the following morning. I found it useful to know who my driver was and when they were coming. The driver was very polite, professional and quick to help me with my suitcases. I had a very comfortable and relaxing journey to the airport.

Terrible company and service

Terrible service. Worst I’ve ever experienced and in hindsight, overpriced. Will never use them again. Waited over an hour for my expected pick up time and called about 4 times to find out where the driver was. Each time I was told I had to wait longer. 20 min, another.15 min, 7 min but no driver. Final time I called them they said there driver cancelled and had a mechanical fault despite already confirming he was at the airport dropping off another passenger. It seems they then booked me with a 3rd party taxi and a had to wait a further 15-20 min. Really unhappy with the lack of updates and ability to contact the driver. Cannot stress enough how dissatisfied i am with this company and their service.

GREAT SERVICE

I have used OTS on a number of occasions and the service has been very good. The reason I am writing this review is due to the outstanding service from OTS due to a very late change in my daughters flight from Dubai. Without any ridiculous administration fees or endless phone calls, the pick-up was merely postponed until a firm arrival time into MAN could be established, which was the very next day......GREAT SERVICE....

Efficient booking

Chris our driver was really great

Chris our driver was really great. He contacted us before we landed and stayed in contact. Greeted us with a sign and was so helpful with our luggage. We were traveling with kids (including a baby) and he was really accommodating and kind. Thanks Chris! The booking process was thorough and secure. Careless customer service

Book if you want be stranded

Booked a return journey from the airport, outbound pick up went really well, I tipped £10 which I think was adequate. Driver seemed really nice and confirmed he was the one picking me up on the return journey, landed late at night and he never arrived, no message nothing left us stranded at the airport! Had to then pay extra for a taxi to take us home, so unprofessional and just disgusting behaviour

Driver took us to wrong place and stranded us.

A driver turned up at our house today gave us our Name and confirmed our destination and called prior to arrival. It appears that the subcontractor made a mistake and sent two drivers and we got the wrong one. (Not at our fault) We were taken to Hammersmith not terminal 5 and when the driver realised his company made a mistake we were dumped out in Hammersmith and left stranded. He had a better paying job to go to so turfed us out. Having trusted this company for 10 years they left us stranded before our flight and refused to refund will have to dispute with credit card company. Staff were incredibly rude and insensitive cannot say avoid enough!

Rude driver

My company booked this as an airport transfer from Heathrow to my house. Driver kept ringing me asking if I was ready before baggage had even started arriving. Then he complained he'd had to wait for over an hour for me- well I'm sorry I had to collect my bags! He wasn't in the meet and greet area when I came through so I helped my colleague to his van with 6 trolleys of baggage. Lots of rude WhatsApp from him and he was still in his car instead of the meet and greet area. Didn't have a name board when he finally did appear so how was I meant to find him? Moving on to the actual journey- he sat in the third lane of a relatively empty motorway, driving at about 64mph with lots of cars having to undertake him as he was causing a blockage

On time. Though this last pick up, the driver did not receive the brief from the office. There was an amendment in the pick-up time. Everything else perfect!! Thank you

A scam company

I booked a large 8-seater mini bus that can easily fit 8 standard suitcases. Instead I got a 6 seater where only 6 bags could fit. The customer service didn't respond at all for 1 hour. Afterwards they sent someone else who came with another 40 minutes delay and turned out to be the same 6-seater. Soon after this, the customer service stopped responding and I was forced to pay another taxi to take my luggage separately. I will take this matter to consumer board as I have all the pictures and records. Don't use their service as even the contracted drivers are paid only 50% of the price. So obviously the service offered by drivers is the lowest. Book a normal cab instead, even if you have to pay 50 quids extra.

The quoted price may not be final total!!!

Have used this company a few times in last couple months. Some drivers better than others....competitive prices but was surprised when I was financially penalised for ( what is quite common these days) a slow exit from the terminal due to late landing, queue to get on stand, distant gate and busy security and excessive wait time. When booking I was not asked meet time but instead provided landing time.... so was surprised to receive call saying I owed this company more money due to being 'late' out of Heathrow. The tetchy rep said that the driver should pull off the motorway immediately so I could access my wallet in the boot immediately...... luckily my driver had far more sense. Exactly what you need after a 13hr flight and significant queues in terminal. I travel for business a lot and won't use them again.... but instead use a firm who are more than just an agent.... or uber. Plenty of reasonable options out there... go elsewhere and avoid the unseen added stress

Unethical Charging Practice

A poor consumer experience. My flight landed a little early (at 0515 even though I specified a 0600 meet and greet). I got through baggage before 0630. I was then taken to my destination. Afterwards I was charged £5 as the driver allegedly was waiting a few minutes over the hour. Even though he announced his arrival at 0536 and I was on board at 0630. I would not recommend using a company that does not understand the costs of doing business. Very disappointing.

Unacceptable service, did not get what I paid for

I paid for meet and greet. I expected the driver to meet me inside the arrivals building and help with my luggage cart. On my cart I had three bags or cases plus a shoulder bag over my shoulder. I am age 68 with mobility restrictions. The driver called and told me he could not find a space in the parking building. I doubt this was true as there were many other drivers waiting to meet passengers. He told me he was waiting at “the drop off area”. That made no sense as this was Arrivals, not Departures. He then said he meant Valet Parking. Inside the building I could see no signs for such a place. Another driver suggested the nearest exit. With difficulty I pushed my cart with one hand, the other using my walking stick. I found I was in an area exclusively for buses. I could see a cabin marked Valet Parking surrounded by empty space. I called the driver again and he just repeated that he was by Valet Parking. I could see a line of vehicles but had no idea if one was his, or, if so, which. It was raining so I was now attempting to single-handedly push my cart while being careful not to slip on the wet pavement. The driver over the phone asked what I was wearing and he correctly identified me. Only now was he willing to leave the car and come and “meet and greet” me. Now he took over the cart and pushed it to the car. I walked in the rain to the car. I did not get the service I paid for. I believe the driver lied about parking. I believe he did not want to pay the parking charges, even though my fee covers those. More for his pocket? He also clearly did not want to get out of the car and get wet. It was only when he saw my with me cart and walking stick that he did so. I did not get the service I paid for. Had the driver parked in the parking building I would not have had to push my cart beyond the immediate area of arrivals. I would not have had the stress of looking for him. That on top of jet lag after a 10 hour overnight flight. I would not have had to get wet in the rain. This man should never be allowed to collect a passenger from an airport again.

Lesson learned never use their service…

Lesson learned never use their service because their driver cannot follow the customer request time as per customer booking stated to meet and greet at 2PM at arrival . They simply could not follow the request they want to follow the flight arrival time NOT AS PER BOOKING TIME !!!! and they will simply charge you for waiting because they simply came early without following the timing requested by the customer!

Avoid ! Rude driver he started driving off when I still had one leg out of the car. Seatbelts were not accessible in the car. Very uncomfortable experience especially as I had my young daughter and wife with me. Never use this service get an Uber. Company refused to give me a refund as he got me to my destination. We were waiting for our pickup at Southampton Cruise Port at 8.30am and got a message that our pickup was on the way. Right up to 9.15 after numerous calls I get told that he is 5 minutes away and we decided to get a taxi to catch our National Coach. Unfortunately we arrived late and missed the coach due to your driver. We had to use the taxi to drive us to Heathrow Airport. We are extremely angry at his incompetance and inefficiency. Dangerous taxi journey from Gatwick to London

Despite complaining on 16th June after what was nothing short of a dangerous drive from Gatwick to London (erratic driving and the driver was sleepy) and not getting a satisfactory explanation, we wrote to the directors and asked for our complaint to be escalated to Mr Shane Roach and Mr Nigel Beer, and to date 2406 we have heard nothing. We were two women on our own and had the drive not been at 0200, we would have stopped the car on the motorway and called the police. The driver concerned could not be contacted by OTS (so we are told) and should not be responsible for people's lives. I hope that even now we will get a response from the directors involved. We will NEVER travel Onward Travel Solutions again.
