Adam Alexander , an aerial drone operator in Indianapolis, has shared aerial video of PANTERA 's July 29 concert at the Ruoff Music Center in Noblesville, Indiana. Check out the clip below.

In a message accompanying the YouTube release of the video, Alexander wrote: "Experience the intensity of the Jul 29 2023 PANTERA and LAMB OF GOD concert from above the famous Ruoff Music Center. Feel the energy, the lights, the music, and the crowd in a way you've never seen before."

The reformed PANTERA kicked off its U.S. headlining tour with LAMB OF GOD on Friday, July 28 at The Pavilion at Star Lake in Burgettstown, Pennsylvania.

PANTERA 's current setlist includes two songs which hadn't been performed live since the band's comeback last year: "Slaughtered" , from PANTERA 's 1994 album "Far Beyond Driven" , widely considered the heaviest metal record to ever reach No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart; and "Revolution Is My Name" from PANTERA 's final studio album, 2000's "Reinventing The Steel" .

PANTERA 's current lineup includes two surviving members from the band's classic formation, Philip Anselmo (vocals) and Rex Brown (bass),along with guitarist Zakk Wylde ( OZZY OSBOURNE , BLACK LABEL SOCIETY ) and drummer Charlie Benante ( ANTHRAX ).

Anselmo and Brown , along with Wylde and Benante , are headlining a number of major festivals across South America, Asia, North America and Europe and staging some of their own headline concerts. They will also support METALLICA on a massive North American stadium tour in 2023 and 2024.

According to Billboard , the lineup has been given a green light by the estates of the band's founders, drummer Vincent "Vinnie Paul" Abbott and guitarist "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott , as well as Brown , who in 2021 said Wylde wouldn't tour with PANTERA if a reunion were to happen. It's unclear what changed his mind.

This past March, PANTERA headlined the 2023 "comeback" edition of Japan's Loud Park festival. The two-day "limited" event took place on March 25 at Intex Osaka in Osaka and March 26 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba City near Tokyo.

In December, PANTERA played seven shows in Mexico and South America.

Brown was forced to leave PANTERA 's Latin American tour after testing positive for COVID-19 . Filling in for him at some of the shows was CATTLE DECAPITATION bassist Derek Engemann , who also plays with Anselmo in both PHILIP H. ANSELMO & THE ILLEGALS and SCOUR .

Up until his passing, Vinnie remained on non-speaking terms with Anselmo , whom the drummer indirectly blamed for Dimebag 's death.

Vinnie Paul and Dimebag co-founded PANTERA . When PANTERA broke up in 2003, they formed DAMAGEPLAN . On December 8, 2004, while performing with DAMAGEPLAN at the Alrosa Villa in Columbus, Ohio, Dimebag was shot and killed onstage by a troubled schizophrenic who believed that the members of PANTERA were stealing his thoughts.

Vinnie passed away on June 22, 2018 at his other home in Las Vegas at the age of 54. He died of dilated cardiomyopathy, an enlarged heart, as well as severe coronary artery disease. His death was the result of chronic weakening of the heart muscle — basically meaning his heart couldn't pump blood as well as a healthy heart.

Heavy metal icons Pantera return to touring, visit Ruoff July 29

NOBLESVILLE — Pantera, one of the most successful and influential bands in heavy metal history, have announced their long awaited return to the stage.

In returning, Pantera will make a 20 city run throughout North America — including a stop at Ruoff Music Center in Noblesville on Saturday, July 29.

The band lineup includes original members Philip Anselmo and Rex Brown joined by Zakk Wylde (guitar) and Charlie Benante (drums).

Lamb of God will serve as special guests at the show.

Tickets for this show go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 27.

Pantera will be on tour across North America this summer, with special guest Lamb Of God. Child Bite, Flesh Hoarder, Spirit In The Room, and King Parrot are openers on upcoming select dates. Pantera Announce 2023 North American Tour With Lamb of God

Pantera have announced a 2023 North American tour with Lamb of God .

The run will take place amid Pantera's already scheduled appearances at festivals as well as dates opening for Metallica .

Tickets go on sale on Jan. 27 at 10AM local time at Live Nation . Citi cardmembers will have access to a presale which begins on Jan. 24 at 10AM local time and end Jan. 26 at 10PM local time. Late last year (Dec. 2), Pantera performed their first show in celebration of the band's musical legacy, welcoming guitarist Zakk Wylde and drummer Charlie Benante — two very good friends of the late Abbott brothers Dimebag Darrell and Vinnie Paul — to the fold.

Benante, when speaking with Sirius XM's Eddie Trunk in 2022, commented on his role, "One of the first things I said to Philip on the phone, I said, 'This, to me, is more on an emotional level than any other level.' This means a lot to me personally, to go out there and represent those guys and represent the Pantera name. And that's all I'd ever want for me. I don't care about it financially and stuff like that; this, to me, I had to do this. I didn't wanna see anybody else playing these songs but me up there."

"It's a celebration of Pantera and all the mountains they conquered. It's the way I look at it," Wylde told Ultimte Guitar last October.

Lamb of God, meanwhile, will be touring in support of their newest album, last year's  Omens .

Metal icons Pantera have announced a run of North American tour dates beginning July 28 in Burgettstown, PA and running through September 15 in Bristow, VA. The tour is bookended by festival appearances. Lamb of God will support on the 20-city tour.

PANTERA announce 2023 North American tour with LAMB OF GOD

Pantera already had a massive 2023 ahead of them, including their first U.S. shows in over two decades and a direct-support slot on Metallica's M72 World Tour. But today (January 20th), the groove-metal titans' year just go a helluva lot bigger with the announcement of a massive summer tour with special guests Lamb of God

As you should know by now, Pantera's new lineup features core members Philip Anselmo and Rex Brown joined by Charlie Benante (Anthrax) and Zakk Wylde (Ozzy Osbourne, Black Label Society), playing in place of the late, great Abbott brothers, Dimebag Darrell and Vinnie Paul. In December 2022, they kicked off the highly anticipated return in Mexico City.

Produced by Live Nation, Pantera's just-announced trek will hit 20 cities, kicking off on Tuesday, July 28th in Burgettstown, Pennsylvania at The Pavilion at Star Lake and wrapping up in Bristow, Virginia on September 15th at Jiffy Lube Live. Check the band's full 2023 and 2024 itinerary below.

Noblesville student appeals court decision after school district wins fight over anti-abortion club

Noblesville Schools won a federal lawsuit against a student who started and ran an anti-abortion club. But the legal fight might not be over yet, despite already costing the Hamilton County school district $200,000 to battle the complaint.

On April 15 the student’s lawyers filed an appeal to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.

In 2021, the Noblesville High School student launched a local affiliate of Students for Life, the anti-abortion club. The club is part of a wider national network.

The student, named E.D. in the lawsuit due to her age, alleged school leaders violated her First Amendment rights by revoking approval for the club and not allowing her to continue it.

Judge Sarah Evans Barker of the Southern District Court of Indiana ruled in late March the district did not violate that student’s rights when they sought to enforce the school’s rules for student clubs.

Noblesville Schools officials said in a statement they appreciated Barker’s ruling that the district did its job.

“We support our students forming clubs they’re passionate about and have dozens of student-led clubs that represent a wide range of interests, activities, and beliefs,” Marnie Cooke, a spokeswoman for the district, wrote in a statement.

Noblesville Students for Life is part of the wider organization Students for Life. The national chapter “seeks to recruit, train, and mobilize the pro-life generation to abolish abortion”.

The student accused school leaders of placing restrictions on the club because of its cause. District leaders said they were concerned the group was led by a parent.

But Kristan Hawkins, president of the national organization, called Baker’s ruling an “insult” to parents that weakens First Amendment protections.

“Dealing with a weaponized judicial system is a burden that unfairly falls on pro-life Americans, including in this case, a young girl in high school,” Hawkins said in a statement.

An abortion fight in Noblesville

Shortly after the club began in 2021, E.D. and school leaders were at odds. It started when E.D. wanted to post flyers that showed pictures of students holding “Defund Planned Parenthood” and “I am the pro-life generation” signs.

School officials said the flyers should not have photos, which follows rules for all student clubs.

While the case made its way through court, Noblesville allowed the club to keep operating at the request of the judge. Attorneys for Noblesville Students for Life tried to remove Barker as judge on the case citing her “personal bias” in favor of abortion. But it failed.

The case drew attention from well-known pro-life community members, such as Noblesville pastor Micah Beckwith. In a 2021 editorial for The Times of Noblesville , Beckwith wrote school leaders were “discriminating” against E.D., who is a member of Beckwith’s church.

The school’s principal, Craig McCaffrey, responded in a separate editorial stating the district was working with the student. Both letters were brought up in the lawsuit.

In response to the judge’s recent ruling, Beckwith said that rights of conservative students are being “limited”.

“We have a problem in our school system when only certain viewpoints are allowed,” Beckwith said in a statement.

Today, the anti-abortion club still exists at Noblesville High School, according to district officials.

M egadeth announced the dates for a North American tour called 'Destroy All Enemies' on Instagram this Tuesday. The upcoming outing, which begins on August 2, will have the support of two esteemed guest performers - Mudvayne and All That Remains.

The 'Destroy All Enemies' tour spans over four weeks and will support the thrash-metal band's album - The Sick, the Dying… and the Dead! - released in 2022. Live Nation is producing the band's tour this time around, starting this Wednesday, April 24, at 10:00 local time, you can access the presale on Livenation.com using the presale code 'RIFF.'

Starting from April 23, individuals can access a fan club presale for the tickets by registering for the Cyber Army on the band's website. Individuals with Citi cards can also access the member presale that began at 10:00 am local time this Tuesday.

Fans can book the general tickets through Ticketmaster starting at 10:00 am local time on April 26. While the pricing may vary by venue, the tickets are available between average prices of over $40 to $200.

Everything to know about Megadeth's 'Destroy All Enemies' Tour

After successfully concluding the international tour this April, Megadeth will go on another outing across North America for the 'Destroy All Enemies' tour. The band's national tour will begin in Arkansas with the first performance at the Walmart AMP venue on August 2.

Megadeth will tour for over four weeks while holding shows at national venues like - Houston's 713 Music Hall, Denver's Ball Arena, Concord's Toyota Pavilion, Utah's Maverick Arena, and more. The American thrash metal band will also take over the stages at Tinley Park's Credit Union 1 Amphitheater, Charlotte's PNC Music Pavilion, Reading's Santander Arena, Albandy's MVP Arena, and Boston's Leader Bank.

Megadeth will then entertain fans across Bethel, Wantagh, Richmond, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Noblesville, Clarkston, Minneapolis, St Louis, and Southaven. Supported by Mudvayne and All That Remains, the band will conclude the 'Destroy All Enemies' tour with a last performance in Nashville, Tennessee at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium on September 28.

The full set lists for the tour are yet to be revealed, but Billboard has reported that Megadeth will perform classic hits from albums like - Countdown to Extinction , The Sick, the Dying... and the Dead! , and Rust in Peace , among others.

Heavy metal icons PANTERA will return to the stage this February on the second leg of their North American headlining tour. The journey follows the band’s massively successful twenty-city run this past Summer, a tour which stood as one of the most anticipated tours of 2023, as well as their dates supporting Metallica. Featuring classic members, vocalist Philip H. Anselmo and bassist Rex Brown, alongside guitarist Zakk Wylde and drummer Charlie Benante, the latest stretch of live dates continues the celebration of the lives of late founding members, drummer Vinnie Paul and guitarist Dimebag Darrell.

Imagine Dragons tour to hit Noblesville this summer

Imagine Dragons is bringing the thunder to central Indiana with a concert this summer.

They'll perform at Ruoff Music Center in Noblesville on Aug. 20.

The show is part of a North American tour to support the band’s sixth full-length album, “Loom,” coming June 28.

The album, produced entirely by Imagine Dragons and longtime collaborators Mattman and Robin, features nine new tracks, including the hit single “Eyes Closed.”

The Vegas-based anthem rock band  (“Radioactive,” “Believer”) has sold the equivalent of 74 million albums, with 65 million digital songs and more than 160 billion streams.

Concert tickets go on sale April 26 at 10 a.m. at imaginedragonsmusic.com . A Citi presale runs from 10 a.m. April 23 though 10 p.m. April 25. For details visit citientertainment.com . Other presales running throughout the week.
