Hi there, With the purchase of a new Outback 2022 Limited with Navigation, SiriusXM is activated with 4 month Platinum service and a 3 years Traffic and Travel Link services. I would like to know if the Navigation feature on the Outback uses the Traffic & Travel Link services from SiriusXM at all since I only see a few cities from the option within SiriusXM. And what happens when the 3 year trial for SiriusXM Traffic and Travel Link expires? Does the Map (Navigation) feature from the Infotainment Center have all the traffic alert features that Google Map has? Thanks

Thanks, As long as it doesn't tie to the Tom Tom built in navigation, I am ok. Has anyone renewed the Starlink services after three years? How much would it be? I think I paid only $75 for the service when purchasing the new car. I heard it costs way more when you renew after 3 years.

Do I get to rant about not every giving Sirius your credit card? They auto-renew hitting your card no matter what you do to turn that off and then it's just about impossible to get a human to reverse the charge. I'm more likely to give my credit card to the "Hot Ukranian women" SPAM email than to Sirius.  

You are correct. Sirius will not cancel and will try to offer you everything and anything they can to keep you. If you enjoy Sirius, I suggest calling 1 day before your trial ends and extend but ask for a promo rate and they will extend you again and again as long as you call 1 day before it expires. If you opt to cancel, do it and stand firm. Tell them no and continue to even if they give you the cheapest rate possible. Last vehicle I was able to cancel by saying they wouldn't first give me the $60/year rate or the lifetime rate, I think it went up to like $8.25 a year or $99. They dropped it so much to the basic $5.99/mo but that is still $71.88 and not $60/year and they finally let me out and cancelled it.  

I just updated to the Sirius Travel link and traffic. The parking spot selection doesn’t work - not that I need a parking spot. Gas prices are a few days old, traffic is slow to update. You will be in a traffic jam and the system will tell you there’s clear sailing. After about 10-15 minutes it tells you there’s a traffic jam on your route! I paid $120 for two years. The clerk tried to tell me I needed to order the terrible music service in order to get the traffic. I refused and ordered it online as a separate data service.  

We have a 2021 Outback Limited. The Travel and Traffic link ended last week. I contacted Sirius who said they no longer offer service for that auto. I contacted Subaru asking if they offer another alternative since I like getting the updates on traffic while traveling. Subaru said to contact Sirius who handles Travel and Traffic Link so I am getting the runaround. Subaru offers too many things and all from different websites once the initial period runs out…one for Starlink, Sirius, Roadside Assistance. It is really a pain.  

Welcome to the Outback Forums, I had the NavTraffic for a while after the free subscription ran out. If the website doesn't allow you to complete the self service.... You may have to call. Their agent will try to upsell you, but you can get it as a standalone feature to tack on your navigation. At the time I was paying ~$4 a month for it. Chris.  

Thanks. I wish they would offer it to me but I did call and they said no, the 2021 Outback limited is not eligible. Makes no sense since I had it for three years and now they don’t want me to pay to continue using it. Navigation we have but not the Travel and Traffic Link. I know, makes no sense that it is not altogether in one package.

To see a list of channels included in a particular plan, go to the  SiriusXM Channel Lineup  and click to select how you want to listen (in the car and online, online only, or portable SiriusXM radio) and then the specific plan name from the pull-down menu in the “Showing channels …” line. Then select ‘All’ or choose an entertainment category (Music, Sports, Talk & Entertainment Channel, etc.) for a list of all the channels in that plan. Channels not included in a particular plan will display a lock symbol in the Channel # column. Satellite and streaming lineups may vary.
