Husband and I did the 3-hour Rainforest Walk & Totem Park tour at the end of tour season. First cruise stop. Total of five of us including Zach the guide who was totally cool. He was very knowledgeable and informative throughout the tour, which was beautiful, laid back and very interesting. Highly recommend this unique and fun experience. Enjoyed every minute of it. Thanks Zach!!

Zachary made our tour very enjoyable and accommodating. Fresh air, light rain, random waterfall off the road, local coffee, privately owned museum, great story telling,.. Would definitely recommend this tour.

We booked the 3 hour private tour and it was absolutely fantastic! Tracy gave us history, background and facts about Ketchikan and the areas we were visiting. Kids enjoyed the scavenger hunt and looking for crabs and starfish. So glad we had Tracy as our guide! She was patient with our big family! Highly recommend.

We had the most amazing experience in Ketchikan with our guide Zack. Instead of a cruise sponsored excursion, our group of 9 opted to do a private tour with Wild Wolf Tours. The price was very reasonable and in line with what the cruise ships charge for giant group tours, however we had such a better overall experience. We chose to go for a hike in the rainforest, go to a totem park, and take a walk through Creek Street in Ketchikan. Our whole group had the best time with our guide going through a beautiful hike through the rainforest and down to the beach. We explored all over and found lots of plants and wildlife to see. Our tour guide was really fun and excited to show us Ketchikan. We had several kids in our group and he was really patient and engaged with them. We all had the bet day in Ketchikan and our tour with Wild Wolf was unanimously everyone's favorite port and excursion on our whole trip!

We took the 3hr forest tour. Tracy was amazing. She gave us alot of Ketchikan history on our way to the Tongass Forest hike. She also served us salmon dip and crackers, and bottled water after our hike. She provided a cane for my sister, who would not have been able to enjoy the hike without it. A visit to the totem village on the way back to our ship was perfect. This was a top-notch tour and a perfect way to experience the beautiful rain forest outside of Ketchikan instead of just shopping for trinkets in town! Highly recommended tour AND guide.

I took their 3 hour rainforest walk in August 2021, upon recommendation from my Airbnb Hosts, Heidi and Adam. I'm glad I did! It was a small group, just me and two people from a cruise ship that was in port at the time. The walk was pretty easy (there are stairs, as an FYI, but I don't believe there are on the 2 hour walk). Saw waterfalls as well as Totem Bight State Park which I had been hoping to see while in town.

I am writing about their customer service as our cruise got cancelled, we weren't able to experience their tours. I just wanted to put the stress on the fact that they reached out to us to ask if we wanted to rebook or a refund due to the cruise cancellation. I had forgotten about the booked tours i scheduled! One can tell which companies to trust and this one is definitely one we can rely on. I believe their tours are as enjoyable as their customer service! I would definitely book again with them in the future.

May 2018 Found this gem through tripadvisor, and I am thrilled we did. We travelled in a group with toddlers and grandparents (age range 3,5, 28, 31, 50s). Arrangements were completed with email conversations and phone line communication as well. Prompt and thorough responses. Glad we booked this private excursion instead of cruise line offers. She was able to do a custom tour for us. Stroll through the totem pole park and a rainforest hike. The "treasure geo" hunt kept it interesting for the kids. She provided car seats for us and let us dictate pace and length. She even stopped by tide pools on the way back for the kids. She was patient, personable, and knowledgeable. A great experience for all. Highly recommend.

We booked Wild Wolf Tours instead of using the Cruise ship excursions. We got the exact same excursion for less price AND arrived to the Totem Bight Historical Park and to the Tongass National Rain Forest BEFORE all the other tourists. It was like having the entire place to ourselves! Tracy was exceptionally knowledgeable with wonderful stories about Alaska, even while driving to our destinations. She somehow even made Totem Poles and the Tongass Rain Forest interesting and fun for the kids in our group (between the ages of 7-13yo). We definitely recommend using Tracy at Wild Wolf Tours if you want a private tour in Ketchikan, Alaska. Visited July 2016

Great Choice In Ketchikan... Tracy of Wild Wolf Tours was the best guide we could have hoped for. Her 4 hour private tour focused on a 1 1/2 mile walk through the Tongass National Rainforest with an unreal amount of vegetation and several authentic local native exhibits. The place was like a greenhouse on steroids and showed you don't need to visit the tropics to be surrounded by bright colorful flowers, bushels of berries, 3 inch banana slugs and plant leaves 4 feet in diameter. That was a real eye-opener and Tracy guided us both through the woods and in her van with enthusiasm,  knowledge, humor and warmth.  The atmosphere was fun and cost reasonable. It was a perfect way for our family of 4 adults and 1 young lady ( age 11 ) to learn more about the rainforest of Southeast Alaska. Just as important as the actual tour is attention to detail in making arrangements before we arrived. Tracy did a great job of promptly responding to questions by email and offered suggestions for making it the best possible experience. As a result, it went as smoothly as possible upon arrival by our cruise ship, during the tour and the return back to Ketchikan. We highly recommend Tracy and her company, Wild Wolf Tours.
