WWE Live UK 2023 tour tickets: How to get tickets for Drew McIntyre’s Cardiff return, Liverpool, Belfast and more

Tickets go on sale today (Friday, December 16). Here's everything you need to know

  • 07:00, 16 DEC 2022

Drew McIntyre is set to make his first return to Cardiff since WWE's Clash at the Castle event

Tickets go on sale this morning for WWE’s first return to Cardiff since the iconic Clash at the Castle event at the Principality Stadium.

Scotsman Drew McIntyre is one of the SmackDown stars advertised as coming back to the city for a barnstorming event at the International Arena on July 2.

Tickets go on sale from 9am this morning on Ticketmaster here .

Other SmackDown stars taking part in the shows include Honorary Uce Sami Zayn, The Usos, Liv Morgan, Braun Strowman, The Brawling Brutes, Imperium and new NXT Tag Team Champions The New Day.

The return to Cardiff is potentially bittersweet for McIntyre.

Having lobbied for years for WWE to host a pay per view event in the UK for the first time in three decades, he was given the coveted main event spot at the ground-breaking show against Universal Champion Roman Reigns.

However, he ultimately ended up defeated after an action-packed bout which included interventions from Karrion Kross, Solo Sikoa, Austin Theory and - most surreally of all - Tyson Fury, who delivered both a knock-out punch to Theory and a post-match singalong, pre-empting his attempt to clinch the Christmas number one slot with a cover of Sweet Caroline.

It’s not just SmackDown stars who will be joining the tour in the early summer.

Liverpool is set play host to the first of four new UK dates with top stars from Raw coming to the M&S Bank Arena on June 28.

Tickets for the Liverpool dates will be on sale here from 9am , with prices starting at £28.

While WWE doesn't confirm exactly who will be appearing on the cards until much closer to the time, Raw wrestlers who are advertised as taking part in the tour include Seth Rollins, Bianca Belair, Bobby Lashley, Kevin Owens and Matt Riddle alongside tag teams Damage CTRL and The Street Profits.

Before the final night in Cardiff, wrestlers will also appear in Newcastle, Sheffield and Belfast with all tickets going on sale today.

As well as the run of shows in June and July, there are some tickets still available for post-Wrestlemania 39 Raw shows at Birmingham, Manchester and Belfast.

Tickets for all shows on the newest leg tour go on sale today (December 16) from 9am on Ticketmaster here , while limited seats at the post-Wrestlemania dates are also available here .

WWE Live Event Results: Former champion announces he's leaving, Cody Rhodes' first title defense, Gunther returns to action (Birmingham, 04/17)

W WE kickstarted the tour of England with a live event in Birmingham on Wednesday, April 17. The show was stacked with multiple title matches and featured top stars from RAW and SmackDown in action.

The event kicked off with an Intercontinental Championship match, with Sami Zayn defending his title against Gunther, Finn Balor, and Chad Gable. This was also the Ring General's first outing to the squared circle since losing the title to Zayn at WrestleMania 40. He failed to regain the title at the house show, as Sami came out on top.

The show also featured a women's tag match as Natalya joined forces with Tegan Nox to defeat Zoey Stark and Shayna Baszler. This was followed by a singles match between Jey Uso and Drew McIntyre, where the former Bloodline member emerged victorious. The Scottish Warrior was unhappy with the reception from the live crowd and told them he was leaving for the United States.

Elsewhere on the card, Damian Priest made his first title defense, defeating Kofi Kingston in one-on-one action. Ricochet also got a win over JD McDonagh while Becky Lynch defeated Piper Niven upon her return to in-ring action. The Man was reportedly slated to take time off after WrestleMania 40, but plans seemingly changed after an injury to Rhea Ripley.

The event was headlined by Cody Rhodes , who made his first title defense as the Undisputed WWE Champion. The American Nightmare faced Shinsuke Nakamura in the main event. Rhodes emerged victorious to conclude an action-packed evening.

Complete WWE Live Event Results

Here are the complete house show results from Birmingham, UK, courtesy of Wrestling Bodyslam:

  • Intercontinental Title Match – Sami Zayn (c) retains over Gunther, Chad Gable, and Finn Balor in a Fatal 4-Way
  • Natalya and Tegan Nox defeated Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark
  • Jey Uso defeated Drew McIntyre
  • World Heavyweight Title Match – Damian Priest (c) retains over Kofi Kingston
  • Ricochet defeated JD McDonagh
  • Becky Lynch defeated Piper Niven
  • Undisputed WWE Title Match – Cody Rhodes (c) retains over Shinsuke Nakamura

The next stop in WWE's UK tour will be another live event tomorrow night at the Utilita Arena in Cardiff, Wales.

Becky Lynch will be back with WWE this week

Despite rumors to the contrary, The Man doesn’t look to be taking time off. And she’s getting back in the ring just when the company needs a new Women’s champ...

Share All sharing options for: Becky Lynch will be back with WWE this week

At WrestleMania XL , Becky Lynch wrestled with a 102 degree fever as she battled strep throat and Rhea Ripley at the same time. Lynch took last week off, and the rumor mill claimed that was only the start of The Man’s post-’Mania vacation.

But yesterday (April 15), the WWE UK Twitter/X account posted that Lynch would a part of this week’s house show swing through Birmingham, Cardiff, London, and Belfast. That gave Becky a chance to crack wise about the online talk about her schedule...

But the internet said I was taking time off. See you soon, Europe. https://t.co/3ctL2j9GRS — Rebecca Quin (@BeckyLynchWWE) April 15, 2024

A speedier than expected return from the New York Times best-selling author is interesting for a couple reasons.

For one thing, she’s said to only have a couple months left on her current WWE deal. Lynch never sounded terribly motivated to wrestle for any other companies though, and with WWE seemingly taking steps to fix whatever issues developed in their process for contracts, The Man coming back around this quickly could be a sign both sides view getting her re-signed is a fait accompli.

For another, WWE suddenly finds themselves needing a new Women’s champion on Raw with Ripley sidelined due to injury. They haven’t told us how they’ll determine gets that currently vacant belt, but they did tell us they’ll do it on next Monday’s show... which happens right after the red brand roster gets back from the UK.

The film received positive reviews following its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in January, with aggregator site Rotten Tomatoes reporting a 91% approval rating from 53 reviews thus far, marking the film certified fresh.

Culkin is perhaps best known for his Emmy-winning role as Roman Roy in HBO's hit drama Succession , which came to an end after four seasons last year.
