Stunning locations, wonderful teacher!

We had three yoga sessions with Evi while on our trip to Milos. She chose stunning locations near the sea that were tranquil and inspiring. Her classes were a wonderful combination of pranayama and asanas. Her savasana was the perfect end. If you ever find yourself in the beautiful island of Milos I would definitely look up Evi at Yoga Journey and take some classes with her. You won’t regret it. Thank you for everything Evi! Evi chose a secluded breathtaking spot at mandrakia to conduct an amazing yoga session for us.. we had it in the morning and there was no distraction at all other than the sound of the nature, the waves, the birds, just listening to the tranquility.. This spot that she chose was so surreal that we could feel the positive energy and the good vibe while practising.. Evi guided us from the breathing, the meditation, the flow, the stretch, the balancing.. all the essentials of a yoga session should have. I have learned new poses from her which i like a lot.. Definitely highly recommended.. ! Namaste :)

This is our dream in Yoga Journey for all yogis who practice with us!! The experience to practice Yoga near to nature is the best way to recconect us with our Mother and to realise that we are a part of this Universe!! Thank you so much! Namaste :)

This is a must to do when you are in Milos. The perfect location and Evi gives a really relaxing thoughtful yoga class. Its just sublime doing this by the sea on the volcanic rock. I would highly recommend. So relaxing.

I cannot say enough about our yoga experience with Evi. We went on one of the morning weekend days, and had the entire setting of the moon rocks by the water all to ourselves. My husband and I were at different skill and comfort levels with yoga. Evi's relaxed style and excellent ability to explain the moves as we went made it very accessible, and unlike his experiences in other yoga studios, my husband really enjoyed this class and now would like to continue regularly when we return home! I would 100% recommend to anyone, whatever your skill level.

I visit Milos for one week (almost) every summer and I'm always on the lookout for new activities, especially related to wellness. This year I was happy to spot a poster/leaflets with Yoga Journey Milos in a couple of different shops around the island, and after checking the very informative website I booked a class with them online. I received a phone call almost immediately and was told my chosen time (Saturday 08:30 morning class) was not available as it was booked for a group event, but they were able to reschedule me for the 18:30 evening class, and I'm so happy they did, as – after the class – I got to experience the unique colours of the sunset falling on the rocks of Sarakiniko. Our instructor, Evi was brilliant and the sweetest person ever, she is soft-spoken and the essence of Zen, and even managed to make my partner (who had a bad first yoga experience and only reluctantly came to this class) want to try yoga again. We met her in the parking lot of Mandrakia, and then walked around 10 min through the countryside to the amazing location she’s found for the class (see photo), it’s the only flat bit of Sarakiniko where you can fit max 10 people for the class. She provided also thick underlay + yoga mats, which was very welcome as with just a single yoga mat it would have been a bit uneven on the rocky floor. The yoga taught was a gentle flow/Hatha-style class, which is totally in tune with the surroundings and the coming sunset. As there is no noise anywhere near, the only things you can hear are your breath, the gentle breeze on the small bushes and the sounds of the sea and birds, such a calming and grounding experience. Overall a great class in an amazing location that I would recommend to all visitors in Milos looking for something different on their vacation. PS. The amazing experience was compounded by a local cat that followed us to the class, sat near us and observed throughout, and then came and rubbed herself over our back, each one individually while we were chanting “om”, the vibrations of our bodies must have seemed magical to her! After we finished and packed up, we saw flocks of birds flying to a nearby rocky islet, and Evi confirmed that this happens every evening exactly at the same time at sunset, so unique!

Evi is a great teacher, talking you through the moves constantly, in a very clear and relaxed voice, so you know exactly what to do. The setting is lovely with the golden sunlight painting the iconic white landscapes of Sarakiniko (mind you, the meeting point is in Mandrakia and you have a short trek over to Sarakiniko in order to reach the "studio"). I had had a previous bad experience with yoga before, but this was a great re-introduction to it, in an environment that truly makes you feel one with the world.

The one thing you must do on Milos is join in a class with Yoga Journey Milos. Even if are a yoga newbie you will still adore this. The lunar-like beachscape on Mandrakia beach, a couple of kilometers from the bustling port town of Andamantas, provides a surreal and stunning backdrop for your class. Teacher Evie is skillful and knowledgeable in the practice and as a teacher. It is both a wonderful spiritual experience and a terrific travel adventure. Like nothing else you’ve ever done. And try if you can to get into nearby Medusa for dinner afterwards. It is one of the talked-about restaurants in the area. Setting, of course, overlooking the waves, is fabulous too

Jiaren Yoga Studio is great! The instructors are always paying attention to the correct posture and provide guidance on the flow.

Classroom availability is also really good and, since shelter in place started, they did their best to provide more time options so that we could practice no matter where and when.
