360 Returns to Regional Australia for his First regional Tour in 5 Years

Back and more potent than ever, beloved Australian rapper 360  is set to bring his electrifying stage presence and extensive touring chops to regional Australia this November for Part 1 of his 12 date Back To Life regional tour, with special guest Drest .

360 ANNOUNCES PART 1 OF HIS BACK TO LIFE REGIONAL TOUR & SHARES NEW TRACK

Back and more potent than ever, beloved Australian rapper 360 is set to bring his electrifying stage presence and extensive touring chops to regional Australia this November for Part 1 of his 12 date Back To Life regional tour. Following the fully sold out first official run of shows in just under six years in June, 360’s extensive upcoming tour will kick off on Friday November 3 at Village Green Hotel in Mulgrave, before journeying through regional Victoria, Queensland, New South Wales and the ACT, with more dates to be announced for Part 2.

Tickets go on-sale to the general public at 10am AEST on Tuesday August 29, and fans are invited to pre-register now at 360music.com.au to access pre-sale tickets from 10am AEST on Monday August 28.

Levelling up today’s exciting tour news is the new freestyle track Most Wanted featuring 360’s signature flow and earnest yet playful storytelling, heralding the revered rapper’s welcome return. Performed as an unreleased track during his capital city Back To Life tour in June, Most Wanted finds 360 baring his soul over dark melodics and sparse, glossy tones. A sonically matured yet conceptually tongue-in-cheek outing, 360’s freestyle prowess is on full display both on the track and also via its accompanying music video, consisting solely of tour footage from his June performances. And it was on this tour earlier this year that 360, aka Matt Colwell, was able to not only reconnect with his creative soul and flourish in his natural habitat on stage; it also offered him a chance to trial touring in new ways that would ultimately place his health at the forefront, thus the decision to split Back To Life’s regional adventures into parts, as 360 elaborates, “As much as I love touring, it’s always been quite taxing both physically and mentally in the past. So, since returning after a long break, I made sure to put my health before anything else. I kept the last tour to 1-2 shows per week, which isn’t a lot at all, just to ease into it and dip my toes in so to speak and see how I went. All went well, so this time I’m upping it to 3 shows per week. This will be more gruelling so I decided to do a month of touring through November, have a month off through December and then finish off part 2 early next year, rather than doing them all back to back. I used to never care about my health and wellbeing, at least not like I do now. Now I follow a strict regime, I have to hit the gym for an intense workout on show days, I follow a strict routine before each show to warm up too. I could achieve more if I went all out doing 5 shows a week and fitting in as much travel as possible over multiple months, but for me that’s a quick way to burn out.”

An ARIA Award-winning, multi-platinum pioneer, 360 has never been one to do anything in halves, with the rapper swiftly cementing himself on the Australian scene via his 2008 debut album What You See Is What You Get, before the game-changing 2011 release Falling & Flying catapulted him into a whole new stratosphere. Hailed for its emotive weight, authenticity and genre-fluid finesse, Falling & Flying paved the way for 360’s continued domination with 2014’s Utopia and 2017’s Vintage Modern firmly sealing his legacy. But amongst his renowned battle rapping dexterity, searing creative innovation and collaborations, 360’s path has simultaneously been lined with mountains, from an accident in 2010 that almost upended the release of Falling & Flying to his battle with addiction and mental health issues in later years; all moments in time that ultimately helped guide and strengthen 360’s resolve, leading him to new music as well as his triumphant return to performing in 2023, as 360 explains, “When I was working on these new songs I was still recovering after going through an extremely dark period of my life. I was still fighting my way through the darkness, now I’m in a much better place. There’s been no real agenda with the music, it’s been more about focusing on myself and getting happy/healthy and just releasing whatever songs we make in that process. I’ve been loving that plan of attack, So I’ll keep that same thing going and we’ll see where it all ends up.”

Re-energised by his return to stage, 360 is primed to bring his exhilarating live show to regional Australia, with his Back To Life Part 1 tour guaranteed to satiate past, present and future fans of the magnetic rap maverick. Expect unapologetic and heartfelt storytelling from an artist who can tackle any style and make it his own. And, as 360 reveals, there are plenty more surprises lying in wait for fans across Australia starting this November: “It had been about 6 years since my last tour, so there were a few cobwebs to shake off but once it got going it was super fun to be back up there. I’m keen to see how the new songs go down in each town we play, to see what connects the most. Also, it will be nice to get out of the Melbourne cold for a bit! Expect a banging set chock full of new songs, old classics, mixtape bangers, forgotten bangers and more. I’ve got a few tricks up the sleeve that people won’t be expecting.”

Blink-182 are hitting the road for their “One More Time Tour” in June (get tickets here ), and ahead of the outing, the pop-punk band has offered some details on what fans can expect.

For starters (literally), an exciting roster of opening acts for the dates has been unveiled, including Pierce the Veil , jxdn , Drain, Hot Milk, Landon Barker, and more. Plus, for two shows in Texas this June, Blink-182 will be joined by metalcore legends, Live Without, the band from the forever-iconic “What the fuck is up Denny’s” video (which Blink-182 themselves paid homage to last fall ).

In a press release, Blink-182 also shared some details for the “new production elements” that will be implemented in the upcoming dates, promising a “brand-new show.” Specifically, the band will now play in a 360-degree-view setting, allowing for more fan seating by placing their stage in the center of the arena. Additionally, they’ll be offering new VIP packages, which you can learn more about here .

The “One More Time Tour” comes in support of Blink-182’s reunion album, ONE MORE TIME… , which debuted last October. Earlier this year, the band hit the road for a number of international tour dates, which saw Tom DeLonge suffer from heat stroke and Mark Hoppus come down with “severe bronchitis.”

In other Blink-182 news, the band was recently covered by Robert Fripp and Toyah, who shared their “elderly edition” of “Dammit.”

Taylor Swift’s Tortured Poets Department broke a U2 chart record in the UK upon its debut.

Forbes is reporting that the album debuted at No.1 in the UK. The Tortured Poets Department landed at the top spot with 270,000 equivalent units. Additionally, the album’s lead single, “Fortnight,” which features Post Malone, opened at No. 1 on its chart. This is Swift’s twelfth No. 1 album in her career, which broke her out of a tie with elite company.

Previously, Swift was tied with U2, Rod Stewart, and David Bowie with 11 No. 1 albums in the UK. However, she is still behind a few other legendary acts. Elvis Presley had 13 No. 1 albums, Robbie Williams and the Rolling Stones had 14 No. 1 albums, and the Beatles had 16 No. 1 albums.

Clearly, Swift has been among some rock icons in her career. Throughout their career, U2 has remained one of the biggest names in the business. They are in their fourth decade as a group and are made up of Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton, and Larry Mullen Jr.

Like Swift, U2 has embarked on several blockbuster tours. Their “360” tour was at one point the highest-grossing concert tour ever. They have since been eclipsed by the likes of Ed Sheeran, Coldplay, Elton John, and Swift.

Recently, the band played a 40-night residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas. U2:UV Achtung Baby Live at Sphere commenced on September 29, 2023, and ran through March 2, 2024.

What is The Tortured Poets Department? 

The Tortured Poets Department is Swift’s eleventh studio album of original music. She once again collaborated with Jack Antonoff and Aaron Dessner to produce the album.

Upon winning Best Pop Vocal Album at the 2024 Grammys, Swift announced The Tortured Poets Department. Just hours after the album dropped, Swift released The Anthology, a collection of 15 more songs. “Fortnight” was released on April 19 as the album’s lead single and features Post Malone.

Additionally, Swift is currently embarking on the “Eras” tour. After commencing on March 17, 2023, Swift took the tour all across North America throughout the year. She also played dates in Mexico, Argentina, and Brazil before a break.

In 2024, Swift resumed the tour beginning with four shows in Tokyo, Japan. She then played dates in Australia and Singapore before going on a two-month hiatus.

On May 9, Swift will kick off a European leg of the tour. After five nights at Wembley Stadium in London, England, Swift will return back to the United States and Canada to close out the tour.

To commemorate the tour, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour was released in theaters. It quickly became the highest-grossing concert film of all time after it made over $260 million at the box office. The concert film was also picked up by Disney+ who released a (Taylor’s Version) extended cut on their streaming service.

U2 Announce 360-Degree Tour Details, First U.S. Dates

U2 have announced the first dates and details for their globe-spanning U2 360° Tour. As Bono recently told Rolling Stone , the stage’s set up is “an engineering feat that creates this real physical proximity to the crowd,” and over at U2’s 360° Tour page you can check out the virtual blueprints for how the concert will look at each of its stadium stops. As evidenced by the tour’s name, a 360° TV screen hovering over the stage will allow the entire stadium a great view of the band as they perform near the center of the field. Plus, the set-up allows Rolling Stone ‘s current cover stars to perform to an entire stadium rather than have the space behind the stage closed off.

First, the bad news: The tour won’t hit American shores until a September 12th show at Chicago’s Soldier Field. The band will open their trek with a June 30th show in Barcelona, Spain, and then travel across Europe before crossing the Atlantic for the Chicago show. From there, concerts in Toronto, Boston and New Jersey’s Giants Stadium have been scheduled, while stops in Atlanta, Charlottesville, Virginia, Dallas, Houston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Norman, Oklahoma; Phoenix, Tampa, Washington, DC and Vancouver have been promised but not yet announced. The good news is that as Bono told Rolling Stone, the band will keep prices down for the tour. As U2’s manager Paul McGuinness said of the European pricing, “U2 has always been at their best when surrounded by the audience, this staging takes a giant leap forward. With 85 percent of the tickets priced at less than 95 Euro, general admission floor tickets priced at 55 euro and at least 10,000 tickets at every venue priced at the 30 Euro price range, we have worked very hard to ensure that U2 fans can purchase a great priced ticket with a guaranteed great view.”

The band will also be taking along some top talent to serve as their opening act, with the Black Eyed Peas, Snow Patrol, the Mercury Prize-winning Elbow, Kaiser Chiefs and Glasvegas all set to join U2 at certain points throughout their travels, with additional artists to be announced as the tour dates keep pouring in. KC 360 PART1: Importing success to Kansas City from Omaha

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City metro is in a middle of a fight to get its residents to stop fighting.

One-hundred and eighty-two homicides in 2023 set a new record , with 58 through April 29, 2023. In 2024, Kansas City has 45 homicides so far with the most recent one happening at 8:30 Monday morning.

In the last month, shootings killed a handful of children in the community , sparking even more outrage.

That’s the environment that KC Common Good has launched its KC 360 model into, trying to bring together a comprehensive group of people, organizations, and government entities to address the complicated web of underlying causes of violent crime.

It’s based on a similar program in Nebraska called Omaha 360 from the Omaha Empowerment Network that has been doing the same work for 17 years while helping drive down the amount of violent crime.

Those relatively sunny feelings about safety in Omaha have come after a long and challenging storm of violence when Ben Gray was a city councilmember in Omaha.

“The thing that got us started was we had 31 shootings in 31 days in July,” Gray said. “We couldn’t have that.”

Around the same time, Willie Barney was starting up the Empowerment Network with the Omaha 360 violence intervention collaborative under its umbrella.

“We just said, ‘There’s no way we can ignore the level of gun violence that was heading to an all time high,” said Barney.

It’s expensive work, requiring hundreds of millions of dollars in fundraising every year from public, private, business, and philanthropic sources to support existing work or try new approaches to address issues that drive people to crime.

“So many cities will look at the police department, ‘What are you doing about it,” said Omaha Police Chief Todd Schmaderer. “What’s happening here is, yes the police department is doing everything we can about it but so is everybody else. Every body else is taking a piece of that pie as well and owning it.”

KC 360 leaders went to Omaha in early April, visiting Metropolitan Community College in Omaha where $100 million from the business and philanthropic community helped expand the MCC’s training offerings.

High school students can get college credit for free before they graduate high school, giving them direction and a head start.

“We recognized what they wanted was jobs and that’s what we did,” said Gray.

19-year-old Marcus Payne says programs like that make a difference for his generation.

“For the younger people, it’s actually a good idea from my perspective,” Payne said. “Somebody’s trying to help you, you’re not alone.”

The massive investment has also sent hundreds of millions of dollars towards brick and mortar construction that can lift up entire neighborhoods.

“The common theme of Omaha has all been around place-based strategies, collaboratively, over time,” said KC Common Good CEO Klassie Alcine.

That’s why she was impressed by a $200 million development on what used to be one of the most dangerous street corners in Omaha. Omaha 360 organizations bought up the land, opening the door for private developers to eventually take over, creating hundreds of units of mixed-income housing, community space, and other benefits.

“It’s very emotional because you see kids outside and when you walk some of the neighborhoods we walk in our own city, you don’t see that,” Alcine said. “You don’t see kids playing in parks, you don’t see kids walking down the street.”

A few blocks away, The Malcolm X Memorial Foundatio n got $20 million to help build out 17 acres around where Malcolm X once lived into a community space with performance venues, housing, historic markets, and places for educational experiences.

Similar work on a much smaller scale has already started in Kansas City. KC 360 has worked in the Santa Fe neighborhood , investing more than $3.5 million since 2022, trying to drive down shootings while building up community.

“When you build that trust, it allows other neighborhoods to see, that’s an example, progress can happen, what if we could do this on a massive level,” Alcine said.

KC 360 is still working out other locations and communities to focus on, likely looking at the corridor along Prospect Avenue near the Santa Fe Neighborhood.

As surprising as it may be, but Moscow, one of the most famous cities in the world, attracts only 5 million tourists a year.

Here are some numbers for comparison: Paris sees 29 million tourists a year, Berlin — 10 million tourists a year.

However, the reasons for such low interest in Moscow lies only in technical complexities of organizing the trip to Russia: there are numerous difficulties in getting visa and mysterious Russian weather often frightens sun-loving and demanding travelers. But those who do make it to the capital of Russia don't get disappointed. Moscow is Europe's largest metropolis with unforgettable atmosphere and unique historical monuments that reflect the history of Russia.

According to the legend Moscow is situated on seven hills. The Kremlin, a settlement around which the modern capital of Russia grew, is situated on one of those hills — the Borovitsky Hill. The first mention of Moscow dates back to year 1147, and since then, for almost nine centuries, the city experienced a myriad of events, and it has been destroyed and rebuilt over and over again.

The main attraction of Moscow, the famous Moscow Kremlin, was originally built from wood, but in the 14th century, after being destroyed again, it was rebuilt from a local white stone. It was from that moment on that Moscow was referred to as "Moscow of white stone" ("Moskva belokamennaya). The walls of the Kremlin were whitewashed long after white stone was replaced with burnt bricks: it was done in the memory of "Moscow of white stone", referring to the glorious part of the city's past.

At the beginning of the 16th century "the seven hills settlement" became the capital of the united Russian state, which gave stimulus to its economic and cultural growth. But while all towers and temples in Moscow were built of stone, the city fire destroyed almost all other old houses in 1812, and Moscow had to be rebuilt all over again.

Burned buildings were replaced with new ones, mostly in classical style: it's those buildings, as well as the modern style ones that were built in the end of the 19th century, that are now comprise what is called "the old Moscow ".

Architecture of the Soviet period has also left a great impact on the face of the city. The Shukhov Tower became one of the first notable sights of Moscow: a hyperboloid structure made from steel mesh shell was very innovative and bold for 1920s. Another notable landmark of the last century is the All-Russian Exhibition Center, one of the 50 largest exhibition centers in the world.

And the most famous buildings are the "Stalinist skyscrapers" — seven high-rise buildings built from the late 1940s to early 1950s. Despite the fact that the idea was taken from American skyscrapers, architects were able to create original architectural solutions, which were later called "Stalin's empire style" or "Soviet monumental classicism". Nowadays these high-rise buildings are considered to be the pinnacle of the post-war Soviet Art Deco style and the most important landmarks that end up on every photo of Moscow.

Three of the seven high-rise buildings are located near the famous Garden Ring. It's a circular avenue with circumference of 15.6 kilometers and a width of 70 meters built (paved with asphalt) on top of ancient earth mounds that were used to defend Moscow in the 16th century.

There were more than 130 rivers in Moscow, but now most of them are backfilled. However, the city can offer you very beautiful views of the water: the famous Moskva River, and the smaller Yauza River, Setun River, Shodnya River, Gorodnia River, and many others.

Bridges, just like Moscow's buildings, are unique monuments of Moscow. For example, the Crimean Bridge built in 1938 was the first of the six European bridges that is 168 meters in length. There is also the famous Borodinsky Bridge built to commemorate the Battle of Borodino. Among the most interesting modern bridges is Zhivopisny Bridge in Serebryany Bor, which has no analogues in the world. Its pylon has a form of a huge arch structure spanning from one river bank to the other at acute angle.

In 1990s the Victory Park was opened on Poklonnaya Hill to commemorate the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945). The park consists of several churches of different denominations, museums, monuments, a huge collection of military equipment, and 1418 fountains (1418 refers to number of days the war continued), which turn dark crimson during the night.

Even the shortest list of all historical landmarks and sights in Moscow will take more than one page. Moscow is a huge metropolitan city spread over an area of 2,500 square kilometers. It has numerous river and parks, narrow streets and big highways, cozy homes in classical style and cold skyscrapers. Each period gave Moscow something new: in 1940s the city was surrounded by a ring road (MKAD), in 1950s the capital saw the opening of the Olympic complex Luzhniki, in 1960s Ostankino TV tower was built in Moscow, in 1990s the largest business center called Moscow-City was built.

Moscow is the case where you just can't describe everything, and as they say, "A picture is worth a thousand words". Overview and History

Moscow takes its name from the Moskva river, where Slavic settlements began around 500AD. They adopted Christianity from the Byzantine Empire in 988 A.D., and it would last as the national religion for a thousand years.

By the 15th cent. Moscow had become the capitol of the Russian state under the Grand Duchy of Moscow, which had been busily assimilating smaller feudal territories while battling the Golden Horde of Mongols. The city was raided and burnt down by the Tatar-Mongols at least three times.

Consolidation of many smaller territories under Moscow's power set the stage for Ivan III to adopt the title of "Ruler of all of Russia." His son Ivan IV, or "Ivan the Terrible", become the first crowned Tsar of Russia.

The succession of Tsars lasted from Ivan IV until Peter the Great, who proclaimed the Russian Empire in 1721, with St. Petersburg for its capitol.

The Russian Empire survived the "Times of Troubles" which saw chaos, invasion and several uprisings of the people. Napolean Bonaparte came within 25 miles of capturing Moscow during his disastrous invasion of 1812, but was turned back after thousands of his starving troops were ambushed and killed by peasant guerilla fighters.

By the beginning of the 20th Century, Moscow was capitol, this time of the largest country in the world.

The Industrial Revolution came later to Russia than to Western Europe, partly due to Russia's institute of serfdom which kept peasants bound to the land. Soon enough however, the emergence of the Socialist political movement was loudly advocating total revolution, and by 1917 the Soviet Union replaced the Tsar and his autocratic rule. This began the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR), which lasted until 1991.

After the collapse of the Soviet Union, Moscow continues to be the capital of Russia, or the Russian Federation as it is now known. It is still the largest single country in the world.

People and Culture

Moscow is in the grips of a western renovation, with consumerism and ostentatious displays of wealth parading everywhere. As of 2008 it is the city with the most expensive cost of living in the world, home of the most billionaires, as well as being the largest city in Europe.

Getting There

Moscow is laid out in five major sections in concentric pattern, with the Kremlin smack in the middle. The Kremlin is the administrative seat of power, and its name means "fortress." Its walls delineate the 15th century boundaries of the city.

There are many galleries and museums in moscow but here are two favorites:

First is Modern Art Museum . and second is Winzavod - it means wine factory

In addition to these, you can visit the Museum of Geology, Museum of Aviation and Astronautics, Museum of History of Moscow.

For art lovers, try the State Tretiyakovskaya Gallerry - with a huge collection of Russian art and icons - one of the most famous russian museum after the State Hermitage in St.Petersburg.

What to look for in general: Red Square, the Kremlin, the Lenin Mausoleum, the Cathedral of St. Basil, and Bely Gorod which is a shopping district.

One more beautiful old place to see in Moscow is - Novodevichiy monastery (was built in 1524 and Ivan IV became a czar there).

A good place to visit for outdoor activities is also Vorob'evi Gori (hills) - it's kind of recreation zone on the moskva river with a park and Moscow state university's main huge soviet building on the top.

Another thing you can do is go for a walk down Old Arbat, a pedestrian street with ethnic flavour of Soviet times and buildings from the time of the Russian Empire.
