Harbor Club St. Lucia has a dozen different room and suite types, with either a mountain, marina or resort view. While this hotel isn't a true all-inclusive, there is a rate with breakfast included, which would guarantee the first meal of the day for each adult and child registered to the room.

Keep in mind that Hilton Honors Gold and Diamond status holders get a daily food and beverage credit at non-U.S. hotels that should help offset some of the day's other meal costs.

There are four dining options at the hotel, including a Swiss-style bakery serving hand-crafted chocolate and fresh-baked bread, and a coal-fire oven pizzeria.

Rates at Harbor Club St. Lucia start at $225 or 72,000 Hilton Honors points per night for two adults and two children.

10 Perfect All-Inclusive Resorts on St. Lucia

These dreamy resorts are a little slice of paradise.

An island best known for the striking silhouette of the Piton Mountains, St. Lucia has all the trappings of a traditional Caribbean getaway: endless sun, powder-white sand, and a clutch of Edenic all-inclusive resorts.

Whether you're here for the snorkeling, the mud baths, the oceanside hiking, or the celebrity sightings (they flock here in droves), St. Lucia has a lot to offer the warm-weather traveler, with a particularly high-end vibe. For travelers seeking an all-inclusive vacay, there are plenty of options on the island, none of which are mundane. Here are 10 of St. Lucia's best all-inclusive resorts and resorts with all-inclusive packages, so find your sunglasses and start planning.

A former sugar plantation with rooms featuring dark wood and tiled baths, Cap Maison lets its stellar views and top-notch service do the talking. Known for extraordinary massages — which you can have on your terrace if you like — this isn't a traditional all-inclusive hotel, so it tends to attract a somewhat less party-focused traveler. The "Cap It All" inclusive package takes care of breakfast, lunch, and dinner, plus house wines and spirits, sodas, and local rums (crucial!) by the glass. And if you're seeking a particularly secluded stay, request an oceanview villa with a private pool.

StolenTime by Rendezvous Saint Lucia

At this decidedly couples-focused resort, visitors can opt into a host of romantic activities, from candlelit private dinners to lessons on how to give a professional-grade massage to your partner. Rendezvous is a true all-inclusive, with taxes, tips, motorized water sports, professionally led scuba dives, and all beverages (including premium-brand booze and wine by the bottle) included. Know that if your preferred getaway is all flip-flops, string bikinis, and sand in your hair, this might not be quite right for you: Though the rules have relaxed somewhat since a recent rebrand, the property has traditionally had dinnertime dress codes. It makes for a more elegant vibe, but packing shoes that aren't sandals might be a non-starter for some travelers.

BodyHoliday

"Give us your body for a week and we'll give you back your mind," trumpets the website of this resort . It's tough to argue when you see that each day of your stay includes a free 50-minute spa treatment — perhaps a massage, or a facial, or an aloe body wrap. At BodyHoliday, the all-inclusive package includes pro-fitness training, sailing, yoga, and spinning classes, as well as health-focused meals (gluten-free, low-carb, and nutritionist-designed menus abound) at six different bars and restaurants. All rooms overlook either a garden or the ocean.

Ladera Resort

For those who like their romantic, tropical vacations to feel, well, romantic and tropical, Ladera is the place to go. Rooms are decked out in dark golden wood, with gauzy draperies breezily thrown over four-poster beds, though the main draw is the lack of a fourth wall. There's nothing between you and those stunning Piton views. The resort isn't technically all-inclusive, but those who adore its restaurant, Dasheene, with its spectacular perch over the ocean and riffs on traditional St. Lucian dishes (sweet potato and coconut soup; roast conch; plantain gratin with coconut rum sauce) often pick the all-inclusive option . Be aware that there's a dress code at dinnertime for both men and women.

Sandals Grande St. Lucian

Sometimes you just want a familiar, all-inclusive resort that pulls no punches, has no hidden fees, and includes activities like scuba diving, sailing, waterskiing, meals at a dozen different restaurants, unlimited premium liquors at swim-up bars, sunbathing on a mile-long beach, and tips. Grande is the favorite Sandals resort of most St. Lucia regulars. Just keep in mind that because some folks come here to really take advantage of that all-you-can-drink deal, it can get noisy. Avoid any vacation interruptions by requesting a quieter room (and one with a private plunge pool) far from the bars and main floor lobby areas.

Jade Mountain Resort

Lauded for its sustainable initiatives and its volcanic microbrewery , the Jade Mountain Resort is a particular favorite on the island. However, it's the 24 infinity pools that perfectly reflect the sweeping views of the Pitons that keep travelers dreaming year after year. The rooms themselves are designed to blend seamlessly into the panorama with an open fourth wall and up to 2,000 square feet to stretch out in — that's in addition to your own personal infinity pool no smaller than 400 square feet. Jade Mountain's all-inclusive option covers meals and beverages, which can be enjoyed on the Celestial Terrace or in the comfort of your suite that you'll never want to leave.

East Winds is one of the more affordable all-inclusive options in St. Lucia and is highly raved about. Between Masson Point and Labrelotte Bay, this resort boasts its own private beach. The all-inclusive experience at East Winds covers everything but the spa treatments: champagne, wine and spirits, and all your meals. This also includes snorkeling and sailing lessons, yoga and pilates classes, and cooking and cocktail-crafting courses. And if you're looking for somewhere to tie the knot, you can even take advantage of the resort's wedding package that includes your legal fees, ceremony space, bouquet, and boutonniere.

Zoëtry Marigot Bay

Adjacent to the island's preferred superyacht berthing spot, Zoëtry Marigot Bay offers luxe accommodation in the center of a vibrant village filled with shopping boutiques and some of the island's top restaurants. Rooms range from the resort-view junior suites (which are still quite spacious in their own right) to the expansive residence suites. The resort's "Endless Privileges" all-inclusive program comes with 24-hour dining access, unlimited top-shelf liquor, and a host of amenities that (if you book one of the highest-end room types) can even include a private butler.

Anse Chastanet

The sister property of the Jade Mountain Resort, nearby Anse Chastanet offers its own stunning perspective of the Pitons, as well as a design scheme that takes inspiration from nature at every turn. Each room has its own special feature, such as the suite with a balcony built around a red gommier tree and open-wall suites similar to the ones at Jade Mountain. However, it's a better choice for those who want quicker access to the soft sand and coral reef of the Anse Chastanet beach.

The all-inclusive package covers all your meals, plus any beverage served by the glass, excluding champagne and specialty liquors. Lovebirds looking for an all-inclusive plan might also opt for the Total Romance Package, which also includes an airport transfer, drinks from the in-room fridge, welcome cocktails, and a bottle of champagne in addition to the all-inclusive meal plan.

Serenity at Coconut Bay

Serenity at Coconut Bay offers a private and peaceful escape for couples looking for peace and quiet. This adults-only resort has a robust all-inclusive plan that includes butler service, airport transfers, golf cart transfers to the beach and spa, plus a private patio in your room complete with a plunge pool and waterfall. That's not to mention the unlimited wine and spirits, cocktails, and both gourmet and casual meals. The all-inclusive experience even includes access to the eight restaurants at seven bars at Serenity's sister resort Coconut Bay, which is not adults only.

Sargassum/Seaweed Advisory

Sargassum is a free-floating seaweed that is especially prolific in the Caribbean Sea and Gulf of Mexico. While beneficial to ocean life, these large free-floating seaweed mats often wash up on beaches. The amount of seaweed on the beaches fluctuates based on the time of year and ocean currents. While resorts do their best to maintain the beaches for their guests, you may experience some inconvenience during your stay.

Top Experiences

Scenic Views : Waterfalls, lazy rivers, tropical rain forests, and dramatic mountains provide endless entertainment opportunities.

Romance : Saint Lucia is a premier honeymoon destination in the Caribbean.

Starfish St. Lucia (formerly known as St. Lucian by Rex Resorts) is another great place to stay.

  • Kid-friendly Activities: 3/5
  • Dining Options: 3/5
  • Value for Money: 3/5
  • Location and Accessibility: 3/5

Here are the top 11 all inclusive resorts in St. Lucia for families.

1. The Landings St. Lucia (Editor’s Choice)

Pigeon Island Causeway Gros Islet, St. Lucia (758) 458-7300 Visit Website Social Media Open in Google Maps

Ratings Criteria

  • Luxurious accommodations: The Landings St. Lucia offers upscale accommodations, including villas and suites with fully equipped kitchens and private terraces.
  • Family-friendly amenities: The resort provides a range of family-friendly amenities, such as a kids’ club, pool areas suitable for all ages, and activities tailored for children.
  • Higher price range: The Landings St. Lucia is known for its luxury offerings, and as a result, the prices tend to be on the higher end.
  • Limited nightlife: The resort has few nightlife options on-site, and guests may need to venture out to nearby Rodney Bay for more entertainment choices.

This is a stunning property that faces the beach and the resort truly makes use of this location.

There are trips to Pigeon Island for which you can pack a picnic basket.

You can also go on fishing trips to the bay, participate in beach Olympics, compete in limbo dances, treasure hunts, and a lot more.

From reading the descriptions of all these activities you may have gleaned that this is a great place to visit if you are traveling with family and want to embark on a St. Lucian adventure.

2. Coconut Bay Resort & Spa

Coconut Bay Resort & Spa

000, Vieux Fort Lighthouse, St. Lucia (877) 252-0304 Visit Website Social Media Open in Google Maps

  • All-inclusive Amenities: The resort offers various all-inclusive amenities, such as meals, drinks, and some activities already included in the price.
  • Splash water park: One of the highlights of Coconut Bay Resort & Spa is its on-site water park, featuring thrilling slides and water attractions.
  • Crowded during peak seasons: Due to the resort’s popularity, it can get crowded during peak travel seasons, such as holidays and school breaks.
  • Beach conditions: While the resort has access to a beach, it’s worth noting that the beach conditions can vary depending on the time of year and weather.

The resort has two areas demarcated for adults-only fun and for families — Harmony and Splash, respectively.

Since it seems you are likely to be traveling with the family and kids, Splash is a great option for you.

You can enjoy features like the lazy river, access to a private beach as well as special Kids programming for children older than 2.

I would highly recommend considering this place for an exciting holiday with the family.

3. Starfish St. Lucia

32CV+P65, Reduit Beach Ave Rodney Bay, St. Lucia (877) 957-4051 Visit Website Social Media Open in Google Maps

  • Affordability: Starfish St. Lucia is a more budget-friendly option than some other resorts on the island.
  • Family-oriented activities: The resort offers various family-oriented activities and entertainment options, including water sports, games, and nightly shows.
  • Older facilities: Starfish St. Lucia has older facilities and decor, so the overall aesthetics and infrastructure might be a bit outdated.
  • Limited beach space: Some guests may find the beach space too narrow and rocky for their comfort, especially compared to other beaches on the island.

There is another property that Rex Resorts has in St. Lucia, but this is the all-inclusive one and the option that you should consider.

There are several things you can enjoy at this resort, including entertainment of various kinds.

There is also a swimming pool and a tennis court that you can use to stay fit even during your vacation.

You can also enjoy exclusive access to the beach along with a lavish spread in the breakfast buffet, lunch as well as dinner.

You can also pay a small fee to enjoy non-motorized water sports.

If you are traveling with kids, I would definitely recommend availing the services of the Children’s Club that is perfect for children between the ages of 4 and 12.

There is also a playground that the little ones can enjoy throughout the day.

4. Anse Chastanet

Anse Chastanet

1 Anse Chastanet Road Soufrière, St. Lucia (800) 223-1108 Visit Website Social Media Open in Google Maps

Anse Chastanet is a glorious and hospitable 600-acre resort.

This is an all-inclusive resort that will offer you a lot of quiet and serene moments.

Since the property is so particular about maintaining peace and quiet for all the guests, it has a policy that only permits children 10 years or older.

If you are traveling with a younger child, there is nothing to worry about — there are plenty of other options for all-inclusive family resorts in St. Lucia.

However, every year, the resort opens bookings for children 6 years or older from July through September.

Even despite this three-month exception, this is the ideal resort for families with only adults or slightly older kids.

You can enjoy the all-inclusive meal plans, access to the beach and a luxurious swimming pool.

There are also options for various kinds of non-motorized water sports.

5. Bay Gardens Beach Resort & Spa

Bay Gardens Beach Resort & Spa

Rodney Bay, St. Lucia (758) 457-8514 Visit Website Social Media Open in Google Maps

Bay Gardens Beach Resort & Spa is a stunning 4-star property located on Reduit Beach.

While this is not an entirely all-inclusive hotel, there are several all-inclusive plans and packages that you can avail of.

These all-inclusive plans will provide you with options of free non-motorized sports, entertainment activities through your stay and also a free spa treatment.

There is also the Splash Island Water Park which is attached to the resort, which would otherwise cost you money.

But with one of these packages, you can enjoy six free half-day passes to the water park.

6. BodyHoliday Le Sport

Bodyholiday Le Sport

Cariblue Beach, Cap Estate, St. Lucia West Indies, St. Lucia (758) 457-7800 Visit Website Social Media Open in Google Maps

BodyHoliday Le Sport is another great all-inclusive resort that offers meals, drinks and several sporting activities, all included in your stay.

But for me, the best thing about this resort is that you will get a 50-minute spa treatment every day, as well as several options for non-motorized and motorized sports.

Now, who would not want to stay in the lap of luxury and avail of all these incredible amenities?

7. Coco Palm Resort

Coco Palm Resort

Reduit Beach Ave Rodney Bay, St. Lucia (758) 456-2800 Visit Website Social Media Open in Google Maps

Coco Palm Resort is another great all-inclusive package option that offers meals, beverages and a lot more included in the price of your stay.

There are two restaurants on the resort where you can enjoy these all-inclusive meals or even order something outside of your plan.

The most exciting thing about this resort, for me, is the swim-up rooms.

Imagine waking up in the morning and then jumping right into the swimming pool from the patio attached to your room!

8. Sugar Beach, a Viceroy Resort

Sugar Beach, a Viceroy Resort

Val Des Pitons Forbidden Beach La Baie de Silence, St. Lucia (758) 456-8000 Visit Website Social Media Open in Google Maps

Sugar Beach, a Viceroy Resort, is one of the best all-inclusive resorts in St Lucia.

Where else can you find a resort on a stunning beach with the iconic Pitons as its backdrop?

Not only does it offer unparalleled views, luxurious accommodations, and an attentive staff.

Guests can also enjoy inclusive water sports activities and indulge in the renowned Rainforest Spa.

Plus, the resort’s dining options are exceptional, serving locally sourced ingredients.

With its unbeatable location, luxurious amenities, diverse activities, and outstanding service, Sugar Beach is a top choice for a remarkable all-inclusive experience in St. Lucia.

9. Windjammer Landing

Windjammer Landing

1504 Castries Labrelotte Bay St. Lucia, St. Lucia (877) 522-0722 Visit Website Social Media Open in Google Maps

If you are looking for a family-friendly resort, Windjammer Landing is a perfect place to book for the family.

The property has a helpful Kids Club as well as a teen program that allows you to enjoy bonfire night, trips to the shopping arcade, movies, and more, without hovering over your kids at all times.

If you are traveling with an infant or a younger baby, you can also avail of the services of a nanny.

There are several all-inclusive packages that you can opt for to make your stay more comfortable and your holiday plan more efficient.

There are packages like the Premium Package that has meals, drinks and water sports of various kinds.

There is also the Diamond Package that has a massage for each person, in addition to other benefits.

10. Oasis Marigot

Oasis Marigot

Marigot Bay, St. Lucia (800) 263-4202 Visit Website Social Media Open in Google Maps

Oasis Margot is another of the great all-inclusive family resorts in St. Lucia.

This a family-owned business and for 25 years, they have been serving tourists coming to St. Lucia with great gusto and love.

The hotel also has some history and is the first in St. Lucia to have a website of its own.

Not only is the hotel a really established property with a rich legacy, but even the staff has been at the hotel for a long time so they will be just as equipped to show you around and help you build a good itinerary that will cover everything.

With an establishment that has been around for so long and has also been immensely popular, you can be assured of the best experience in St. Lucia possible.

11. Ti Kaye Resort & Spa

Ti Kaye Resort & Spa

Anse Cochon Anse La Raye, St. Lucia (758) 456-8101 Visit Website Social Media Open in Google Maps

Ti Kaye Resort & Spa is one of the most popular St. Lucia all-inclusive resorts which is located on the west coast of St. Lucia, offering great views of the ocean.

The resort is a small one and has only 33 rooms so I would highly recommend booking ahead.

The property also has two bars and restaurants that you can enjoy during your stay.

If you are traveling with your partner, this is one of the best places to book a stay, in my opinion.

You can also enjoy some of the best diving and snorkeling experiences in St. Lucia at this resort, so be prepared to take back memories of a lifetime with you!

Vacationer’s Guide

Comparing resorts: which one is right for you.

My family experienced a sun-soaked, laughter-filled Caribbean vacation in each resort.

At The Landings, we were greeted with warm Caribbean smiles.

The spacious villa, with its beautiful beachfront view, was perfect for family time.

One evening, we savored a private beachside barbecue.

Picture this: soft sand under our feet and the sound of waves rhythmically breaking at the shore.

Next, we visited Coconut Bay Resort & Spa.

The water park there was an absolute hit with my little ones, their squeals of delight echoing as they shot down water slides.

Thanks to the resort’s kids’ club, my partner and I managed to steal some precious moments of tranquility at the spa—a rare treat.

Our final stop was Starfish St. Lucia.

Snorkeling in the crystal clear waters was like stepping into an aquatic wonderland.

That night, we enjoyed local delicacies at the beachfront restaurant.

And just when I thought the day couldn’t get any better, there it was—a breathtaking St. Lucian sunset.

Each of these resorts offered us unique experiences and cherished memories.

So, here’s to adventures, sunsets, and family time.

How I Picked The Resorts

I’ve had the privilege of experiencing St Lucia’s awe-inspiring all-inclusive family resorts firsthand.

Through immersive research and conversations with locals and fellow adventurers, I’ve discovered the secrets that make these resorts exceptional.

From stunning vistas to thrilling water sports, these resorts provide an unforgettable vacation.

Their family-friendly amenities and top-notch service ensure a delightful getaway for all ages.

Our Resort Rating Method

I rate these properties based on the following criteria:

  • Kid-friendly Activities: I use this to evaluate the availability and variety of family-friendly amenities at every resort. Does it feature water parks, playgrounds, and kids’ clubs? Does the resort organize events designed specifically for kids? I ask myself these questions whenever I rate kid-friendly activities.
  • Family Accommodations: This is used to assess the family accommodations of the resort. Are the rooms spacious? Does it offer family suites with connecting rooms? Can it accommodate families of different sizes? Is there a crib or baby-proofing in every room? These questions are essential whenever I rate family accommodations.
  • Dining Options: This evaluates the dining options at the resort. Are there kid-friendly menus or buffet-style dining at the resort? Can the on-site restaurants cater to everyone’s dietary preferences and needs? I use these questions to assess the dining options of every property.
  • Safety and Security: I use this criterion to assess the safety and security of the resorts. Are there lifeguards at the swimming pools? Are the premises secured? Is the staff trained to handle any emergency? I consider these factors when rating safety and security.
  • Value for Money: This is used to evaluate the value for money of every resort. Are the room rates reasonable? Are the services, activities, and amenities suitable for the price? I ask myself these questions to rate the value for money.
  • Location and Accessibility: This measures how accessible the resort is for families. How far is it from the popular family attractions? Is it easily accessible via public transportation? Does it offer airport transfers? These are the questions I ask myself when evaluating the property’s location and accessibility.

This is not a luxury resort and definitely not 5 stars. I am writing this review as I am currently still her for 4 more days. The checkin was very basic and slow, we had diamond club privileges and I’m a platinum Bonvoy member and both meant nothing. The use a rusty pair of pliers to crimp the wrist band on. Dear management you can get really nice small crimping tools on amazon for cheap. The room is pretty basic, and seems like it’s lacking regular preventive maintenance. The beds are uncomfortable and the pillows are hard. The restaurants are not gourmet at all but hats a lie. The food is ok for a regular resort not 5 star luxury. There are plenty of pools and bars however the pools are still being cleaned at 8:00am I’d expect this to be completed early morning or overnight. The beach is nice there’s rocks a seaweed and there’s 2 large pipes going from the resort to the ocean I really hope it’s not “waste water “ The staff here is amazing but everyone seems terrified to lose their jobs. The bars don’t have the variety of a luxury resort it’s just basic offerings. Again it’s not worth the price of a luxury resort but it’s a great basic resort. It’s huge and there’s lots of space on the beach or on of the many pools depending on your room class.

I want to say I’ve travelled to several all inclusive Caribbean resorts. I am a middle class person. I will pay money for an excellent vacation as I work hard for my money. I chose the Royalton St. Lucia because I have been to several all inclusive resorts in Dominican and Cuba and wanted a higher end vacation. We stayed in the Presidential Suite, Diamond Club at the Hideaway. I’ll start with cons of our trip/the resort: - Service: The service is the worst I’ve ever experienced. For example: I had a worker ask if I wanted sparkling or still water, they had still water in their hand and began to pour it before I answered, and I responded I wanted sparkling. They stopped what they were doing and looked at me like I just asked for the world and rolled their eyes and walked away. Workers at the martini bar were saying they were out of ingredients when they obviously were not just to not make drinks. It was an ongoing issue that they didn’t have the ingredients, therefore a menu with many drinks was limited to the basics. When paying for a 5 star resort you expect to be able to get more than a basic martini at the martini bar. The service issue was resort wide - on the Hideaway, Royalton & Diamond Club. You would come across great service, and they really seemed to be happy, but it was either one extreme or the other. - Cleanliness: Sanitation didn’t seem to exist at this resort. Other resorts I’ve been to always have someone wiping down surfaces, especially high traffic areas like the buffet. This did not happen here. A few examples of poor hygiene included a bartender lick his finger and dip it into the rimmer to determine whether it was sugar or salt and then make my drink with that rimmer, a bartender would pour a bit of the drink they were making into their hand and lick it to taste it and then continue making the drink and pick up ingredients with their hand without washing or sanitizing, and the bar staff were washing shot glasses in a bucket of water (no soap, sink was next to bucket) with glasses, bottle tops (unsure why) and then serving the drinks. 20 people in our group got diarrhea, vomiting, sore muscles, fever and chills. When discussed with others on the resort it was spreading around the resort like wild fire. It was brought to managements attention, and I did notice more hand sanitizer out for guests, but the staff’s actions did not change. It was so so saddening and frustrating to spend 2-3 days of a weeks vacation stuck in the room not able to move from the toilet. - Entertainment: There is no club or place to dance on the resort. The nightly entertainment is poor. A single person singing on the stage. The white night advertised does not consist really of anything besides a lot of people on the resort wearing white. Food/Beverage: The drinks at the resort were not good. They didn’t have any fresh lemon or lime. They only used lime and lemon juice from a bottle. The mojitos and margaritas were terrible because of this. The food was mediocre. Definitely not worth the money paid or 5 star rating. Pros: - Butler Service: The butler service was great. They were very present and executed everything we asked. Raymond and Lance are pleasant and excellent workers. Besides the butler service, I don’t think the Diamond Club is worth it. - Grounds: The grounds were beautifully kept. They were gorgeous. - Housekeeping: Besides our butlers, the housekeeping staff was the nicest people we met and did a great job. Overall, I had much better vacations in Dominican for thousands of dollars less. This resort had terrible service and cleanliness.

Rest assured, your feedback regarding the lack of fresh ingredients for drinks and the quality of food has been shared with our culinary team for further review and improvement. Once again, we apologize for the challenges you faced during your stay, and we hope that you will allow us the opportunity to regain your trust and welcome you back for a much-improved experience in the future. Warm regards, Royalton St. Lucia Management Team.

If you’re considering this place, I have one word for you. Don’t. The “Royalton Way” is the worst way to spend a vacation. As many of the other reviews state, the service here is non-existent for the most part, except for a few, and if you’re lucky enough to get served, it’s not pleasant. I literally thought to myself that the staff here must really hate their jobs and vacationers. Let’s start with check-in. We stayed at the Hideaway portion of the hotel and had Diamond level, which apparently means nothing here. The check-in area leaves little to be desired, a small bar with a few little snacks and fruit. If you’re used to Caribbean resorts where you’re greeted by lovely people who hand you a tropical drink and cold towel upon arrival, this is not the place. We were greeted by a gentleman who said he would be our butler and offered us a drink. While we waited an hour to check in, he kept reminding us that he was our butler, so we tipped him in advance, then did not see him the rest of the trip. (Note: this is NOT the main check-in area of the main hotel.) We had the Presidential Suite which was big, but reeked of mildew. We asked to switch rooms and after an hour waiting in the “lobby” were told to come back the next day. Headed to beach and pool at 9:00 AM and all the chairs with umbrellas were already claimed with towels. The water in St. Lucia is not the beautiful Caribbean blue like the other islands, the beach is small and there’s a very small roped off swimming section, likely because this hotel is located on the bay and it's rocky. Zero beach service, you have to get your own drinks at the bar if you’re on the beach. They don’t even have actual limes at the bar and they do not like to be asked for actual limes. There are a lot of pools and beach chairs, but you have to wake up by 6:15 to put towels on chairs in the shade like everyone else does to "claim" them. The majority of staff does not say hi or good morning, or even acknowledge your existence. Even when we tipped in advance and were overly polite, everyone just seemed really annoyed to be there. Dinner is a nightmare! We arrived at 6:30 after 12 hours of travel and were turned away from getting a table at Zen and Hunters because they were allegedly booked all night. So, we went to Tex Mex and were told we couldn’t be seated because other people were waiting for the tables. Half the tables were empty and there was no one in line, not to mention this restaurant doesn’t even take reservations. I pointed this out and surprisingly, after waiting 10 minutes for a manager to come over, we were allowed to sit. Service was non-existent and the food was horrible. The beef brisket was dry and tough, the queso fundido was a little glob of cheese in a bowl with a scoop of jarred salsa and served with one cut-up tortilla. Ketchup comes in packets and there was only one option of white wine. We left and went to Dourado to eat a proper meal. The staff there was amazing! My glass of champagne was filled constantly and our server was extremely sweet and attentive (we also tipped her well). The cheese filled rolls were hot and delicious. Ambience right on the water was great and food was much better, although we had to send the steak back three times because it was still mooing, then it came back overcooked. Little kittens walk around the beach there and come up to say hi, that was nice as well. We tried the next day to get into Hunters at 5:30 when they supposedly opened, but the hostess told us we had to wait in line until 5:40 when they would open. The line had formed to about 20 people by then. The family in front of us were told they couldn’t get a table inside for their party of 8, even though apparently they made a request hours earlier, after being turned away the night before. They were the first people in line and they don't take reservations, so it made no sense. The host was extremely rude and was arguing with them then told them to go wait outside and she would see what she could do. As we were about to enter, my friend was told he can't come in because he had on flip flops. The hostess told him he needed to go back to the room to change shoes, which he did not have since we came from Florida, and were in the Caribbean, on a beach. Seriously? It’s not even a fancy restaurant and our table was OUTSIDE. We tried to reason with her and she just became even ruder to us. I was allowed in with identical white flip flops and asked why I was allowed in, the waitress said it's because I’m a woman, no joke. A man was let in after me with flip flops and I asked why, and was told that they are brown flip flops and therefore considered sandals. Can't make this up. We literally had to leave and when I walked out everyone in line was gone because the lovely hostess told them all that they are not getting in if they're wearing flip flops. Spoke to the front desk, who then had to call management, then waited for a very long time to finally get our room changed and figure out if there was any way we would be allowed to eat at Hunters or Zens in flip flops. What did the manager tell us? To go to the gift shop and buy sandals! The gift shop only had a couple pairs of cheap plastic Birkenstock looking "sandals" for $65. Not happening. The manager finally got us into Zen at 7:30 even though our “butler” told us they were fully booked (this is the only restaurant on property that takes reservations but you can't call, you have to go there and make them in person the night before). Our teppanyaki table had four open seats and there were plenty of open tables. Of course we had to wait to get a drink, wait for our chef to arrive, wait to get refills. Food was average, didn’t get the typical food-flipping, fun teppanyaki experience, just corny jokes. Again, there was only one option for white wine. On our last night we went to the Italian restaurant, which was average. I wasn’t feeling well so I asked if I could get a box to take the pizza back to the room (since it's nearly impossible to eat anywhere else on property) and was told I can’t take it because of, wait for it, concerns about food poisoning! How is that even possible? There is a food truck which is open in the afternoon, I stopped there after golf to get something quick to eat. The woman working there looked at me and the guy next to me with complete disdain. They had pre-cooked hot dogs and hamburgers sitting in a bin (that had clearly been out all day) and threw them on the grill to reheat, but I needed to eat. I should not have. A little later I started feeling really sick but was locked out of my new room (for the second time) because my wristband key stopped working. The front desk staff was so rude to us for being upset and complaining. They were not apologetic, helpful or nice. We asked to please just let us into the room so I didn’t get sick in the lobby, but they couldn't figure out how to program our keys so they called management. After waiting for her to arrive, we were not greeted with an attentive manager willing to help, but reprimanded for the way we were speaking to the front desk lady. Mind you, we did not raise our voices, we were very frustrated with the lack of service and just wanted to get into our room. We had to explain the entire situation all over again and she still refused to just let me into my room. We started getting angry because I was about to throw up and they were so rude to us, but instead of helping, they called security. One gentleman in the lobby was kind enough to offer me a glass of club soda. I really appreciated that! It literally took 45 mins until security opened the door for us. The security guard was very nice and calm, but after I got in the room and got sick, we tried our new keys just to be safe, and they still did not work. They had to be cut off, back down to the front desk and reprogrammed again. The best part is, after we got into our new room, the front desk person asked my friend (who is the highest BonVoy level) to sign a document for the new room, which we thought was weird. He read it, and it was actually a waiver full of hold harmless clauses against the hotel, which he refused to sign. WTH? I shared my lovely story with a nice couple at the pool, they were there with a wedding party and told me that 7 people (including the bride) got food poisoning. We were discussing how we were tipping everyone but weren't getting service, and she mentioned that housekeeping took the tip they left but didn't clean. We were getting back to our room just as housekeeping was walking out and there were potato chips, candy wrappers and used towels all over the floor. I decided to just be happy and go chill in the outdoor tub to watch the sunset, but there were empty beer cans and bugs in the outdoor tub. Also, they do not provide hand soap in any of the bathrooms, or a wine opener, and the lights in our main bathroom did not work so we had to shower and use the small guest bathroom. If you want ice, you have to go down to the bar to get it. The room was stocked with alcohol, but it was bottom shelf so we didn't drink it. We thought at the Diamond Level we would get top shelf liquor and service. The entertainment was a little lackluster. One day was just karaoke, one night was a Michael Jackson impersonator with some back up dancers, who made a good effort but don't expect Vegas performances. There were about 5 people working at Mix Martini bar by the stage, but they do not like to serve you, you have to flail your arms to get their attention, and don't expect your martini in a martini glass. You still have to get your own drinks when you're watching the shows, we ordered one time and the waitress never came back with the drinks. We were there 3 days and only one day had water aerobics but no pool games, I think there were just not enough people at the hotel to participate in activities. Probably because they read all these reviews and decided, smartly, to stay elsewhere. The only thing nice about St Lucia is Cabot golf course, which is the reason we went. Stunning course overlooking the ocean with crazy holes across the water and greens. Their comfort stations were legit and I could have stayed there all day. Best part of the trip. We took the helicopter from the airport for $400/couple which was nice but a little pricey to literally travel 12 mins then pay another $50 for a 15 mn taxi to the hotel. Petal and Sophie were amazing! And so was our host at the breakfast buffet, so I do want to give a shot out to them. I am an avid traveler and have stayed all over the Caribbean, this is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. There are so many better island in the Caribbean to visit, with lovely people.

We have just returned from our two week honeymoon. Firstly I would recommend this hotel. We had an amazing honeymoon we will remember forever. Pros: Hotel complex is lovely Room we had was lovely lots of space and had a nice view of pool areas Bar in room re stocked everyday Fresh towels provided everyday Easy to get pool towels everyday from the huts Pools lovely (we mainly went to the quiet one) we saw it cleaned every morning Staff are really friendly and cannot do enough for you Food was lovely. Breakfast was nice and all of the restaurants are nice but I advise to either go at 6 / 6.30pm if you go at peak time 7/7.30 you will have a long wait. Cocktails were nice we enjoyed the variety We had a candlelit dinner on the beach this was amazing Bar staff are great you are never waiting too long to be served (special mention to Brent at the dips pool bar) Cons: (a few improvements would make the hotel outstanding) Problem with ants in room (easy fix but need some sort of spray killer) Sink area needs more cleaning on a daily basis in rooms Not enough sun beds with umbrellas - you have people reserving them at 6am which you will never stop in hotels sadly but If you added more beds and umbrellas this will help stop this issue More variety of evening entertainment needed and more actual shows - seemed to be the same singer most nights and same songs and only a DJ. We really enjoyed the country night but this was only on once during our holiday. More chairs needed in the evening stage area, when a musician or show was on there was not enough chairs for guests Soap in the bathrooms needed! For a hotel that has anti bacteria dispensers everywhere I was shocked no actual soap was in the rooms! I asked aswell and was told to use the shower gel which is not good enough for the cleanliness. Ingredients to always be stocked at bars for cocktails - some days would ask for a certain cocktail and the staff would not have the ingredients - this is down the management not the staff! We didn’t go to the beach once because again not enough beds on there either or umbrellas and we also got up early. Overall, I would reccomend the royalton, we had a lovely time but these minor improvements would ensure the hotel kept its reputation and improved guests experience to make it outstanding. Thank you
