A fantastic tour of Palermo if you have small children who can’t walk the distance. There was a recent negative review and I believe you should ignore it. Francesco was great and used google translate to explain sites to us in English. This is a must do if you’d like a quick tour of all the key spots in Palermo. Thank you

Terrible ride, Don't waste your money on this tour unless you want to see back alleys in a "TapeCul" in the back alleys of Palermo. Picked up outside the Palermo port, by our Tapecul driver, Francesco. We had asked for a French-speaking driver when I asked him if he spoke French or English his answer was a little. I would say a few words in each language maximum The first stop was in the port, in front of the marina. The driver points to the port and says this is the port no comment. We then start cruising through the back alleys where he then points to a church, then a few more turns and points out to another church. The other back alleys and we stop at a church, he sends us inside to see the nice sculpted columns and walls of the church, but the driver always stays outside, with no comment. We then cross the old city center and the driver offers to leave us there so we could come back to the port by taxi, we declinde and then he drives us back to the port and says that's it all in 45 minutes. I tell him we paid for an hour tour and he tells me it's because we haven't visited the churches long enough. I PAID FOR A ONE-HOUR TOUR... Needless to say, he didn't get any tips. Very bad experience, at 93 $us, a total Ripoff.

I'm so sorry, but unfortunately we don't have the right to accompany customers inside the monuments, another true thing is that the tour lasts an hour! but with the visits to the various monuments, in the case of the gentlemen, unfortunately there was a lady who did not walk well, so much so that the year was accompanied by the ship with a wheelchair, we are so sorry as they are limited for the reasons indicated above, it lasted a a little less, but in case it would have lasted 15 more minutes given the difficulties, we would not have asked for any due! in case it had to be the customer to point out the problem! as far as her language is concerned we can assure you that it is not at all as she says! then if it's a matter that has to say bad things that's okay!! On the contrary!! I ask all those who have health difficulties to communicate it that we will evaluate whether it is appropriate to do the service with us or not.

Francesco made today a BLAST. We toured all over Palermo, stopping to see sites whenever we wanted. He took us to places we would never have seen on our own, sharing a bit of his city with us, and we ended the afternoon with a trip out to Mondello Beach for a gelato and a passeggiatta. Francesco was kind, considerate, funny, and determined to show us a good time. His English isn’t copious, but neither is our Italian, and we managed fine. I have a foot injury, so walking everywhere just isn’t an option this trip, but we were determined to see as much of Palermo as possible. This Ape Tour was the perfect way to accomplish that. If you only have a day or so in Palermo, this would be the perfect way to get maximum sightseeing with no aggravation. Worth every penny.

We didi a super city tour with an Ape. Our driver was super friendly, professional and calm. Highly reccomended to pay a little xtra - and have a GOOD experience ! And NB! We speak Italian - so just saying.

Our tour guide was Vicenzo and the 1 hour ride was a great way to get to feel the smells and colors of the city. We got to see some most important points of the city which with a toddler can be difficult by foot. So a great solution for couples with small kids. Vicenzo let us hop out of the tuktuk and take a look at some churches, take a stroll in a garden which was quite nice. We enjoyed it very much, he was really friendly and for every spot we visited he always explained what we were seeing. All in all, a great experience! Thanks Vicenzo :)

Pro: The driver was on time Con: The ride was bumby AF, one door did not close correct, no seat belts (had a 5 y.o. with me) the driver spoke (almost) no english, he hardly said a word during the trip and then tried to CHEAT me into paying A LOT more than agreed. When looking at the website for this company, it DOES NOT compare to reality in the slightest. €80 for one hour is so not worth it, I dont even know quite where to start - I may come from a wealthy country, but I still know the value of money. I do not pay this amount for bad service, an absent driver and the finishing touch of the driver, trying to pressure me into paying even more. Absurdly overpriced, absurdly overrated, absurdly underwhelming. This left a bad mark on my holiday in Palermo. Never again!
