For the price, this tour could have been so much better. We scheduled a wine and brew tour for 11am on a Saturday morning. As of 10 am we still had not heard from them to know what time to expect our pick-up, so we had to call. Our ride arrived on time at 10:45 in a GMC Yukon. There were 6 on the tour and we were PACKED in that Yukon with barely enough room to move or breathe. It was awkward and not at all comfortable. Our driver was ok with the basics, but not overly helpful. She did take one picture when asked. The wineries we visited were Rove and Bonobo, and the brewery was Silver Spruce. Each was good in its own way.

Did the snow shoe wine and brew. No snow and no refund on the snow shoe rental. So now here's the Kicker. Some of the sticks and flags were moved and placed in the wrong places or missing. Got lost on the shortest leg of the trip. But it was fun and we will have a good story. If you are at risk of a heart attack don't go on this. And when you are lost and the brew bus drives by you and honks, don't throw rocks at the bus. They don't like it. Should refund the snow shoe rental if there's no snow to use the equipment.

We loved our experience! After a difficult time of finding availability, TC Brew Bus was able to accommodate our group of 4. We were picked up in a brand new Denali by our driver, Colin. He was so friendly, personable and helpful! TC brew bus also made all of our winery reservations - which saved so much work and research for us! I HIGHLY recommend this company as I would absolutely book them again - worth every penny!!!

Had a group of seven rowdy ladies for a bachelorette weekend and Brew Bus was the way to go! Prices seemed reasonable, service was great and we were able to make four winery stops and had pickup and drop off service at our Airbnb, so we didn't have to worry about a DD. Our driver, Randy, was very patient with us, took us on a scenic route along the lake and even had a few tips along the tour! Lots of fun and I would definitely consider using Brew Bus again!

What a blast... Learned about "Bubbly on the Bay" from the MyNorth.com eNews. Hosted by Leelanau Cellars, we were driven by David Hoffman to the expansive tasting room on the West Bay where we sampled 5 delicious wines from a very extensive selection. Once loosened up, 6 of us along with Jeremy Smith and David headed for the kayaks for a relaxing paddle along the shore where we sampled 3 canned carbonated wines... Winter White Bubbly, Bubbly Rose and Great Lakes Red Bubbly... all very tasty! And to top things off, we saw a magnificent bald eagle. Upon return we again visited the tasting room for some wine buying. The 30-minute bus ride was full of stories, fun and laughter. Can't say enough good about this business! They were so great for my bachelorette party. Our bus driver was so kind, engaging and helpful! He knew everyone at the wineries it seemed like and always asked if we wanted our photos taken. It's nice having an engaged bus driver or else things feel awkward. I want to go to TC and get a Brew Bus again soon!

We had the BEST time riding the Brew Bus yesterday!! David our driver/photographer/DJ was amazing. We rented the Mercedes van for 4 hours. It was comfortable, clean, and had plenty of room for the 6 of us and our cooler. Thanks for putting up with us David and showing us an awesome time! You did a wonderful job choosing wineries and were very knowledgeable of the area. We'll definitely request you again!

Absolutely, hands-down, the way to travel to TC wineries/breweries. The driver we had was hilarious, incredible, and accommodating. He entertained all of our silly requests for pictures, and seemed to have a genuinely good time. We were able to plug in our phones and bump to our playlists, which completely enhanced the experience.

My group had an awesome time on the Brew Bus! It was for my friend's bachelorette party and Randy was our driver who took us to four wineries. He was a great DJ, driver, and coordinator. We went over 20 min and he even let us do a pit stop. I appreciated his flexibility and expertise of the area. Thanks again Brew Bus for making it a wonderful wine tasting experience!

Look no further for a tour bus! This is the perfect choice to get from place to place, playing your own music and enjoying the night out! We were a wild group, and I don't think we could have laughed more than we did. Every single person in our group didn't regret this one bit!

Flights and Charter Buses 

Getting to Traverse City is easy with the  Cherry Capital Airport , a full-service commercial airport offering major airline service to 300 domestic and international destinations. There is also the option to stay on the ground with the Indian Trails bus route that serves Traverse City. The route starts in Grand Rapids and ends in St. Ignace. This is a great connection to Amtrak trains in SW Michigan and other bus services (i.e. Greyhound) to get around.

Public Transportation & Ride-Hailing

When you're in the area,  BATA  makes it easy to get around town with their public transportation services including Link  and the Bayline .

Link on Demand is a ride-hailing service like UBER or Lyft, which delivers rides as they are requested. Rides can be requested either in real-time or up to one day in advance. The cost of a ride is only $6.00 per one-way trip of $3.00 for reduced-fare eligible persons (students, seniors, persons with disabilities, and veterans or active military).
