Clark Atlanta University Transfers: 2024 Requirements, Dates, GPAs & More

How effective are clark atlanta university virtual tours.

It depends how you use them. Clark Atlanta University is a hustling, bustling campus and community. The beauty of Clark Atlanta University virtual tours on CampusReel is that authentic video tours, made by real students, can be spectacular at capturing the Clark Atlanta University vibe. We also go well beyond the confines of the Clark Atlanta University campus by taking you around Atlanta. In traditional virtual tours, you will mostly see still, unengaging images and will not see the surrounding area at all – which is why CampusReel virtual tours are so important.

Can a Clark Atlanta University virtual tour replace a traditional in-person visit?

If you cannot visit Clark Atlanta University in person, then we can honestly say that we believe a CampusReel virtual tour of Clark Atlanta University is absolutely the most effective and holistic way to understand the Clark Atlanta University people, campus and community. However, if you do plan on visiting Clark Atlanta University and other colleges in person, we strongly recommend that you at least prescreen your college options on CampusReel before spending the time and money to visit. Most prospective families find that as soon as the step on campus, they instantly know whether or not they like the school – but they’ve already spent all that time and money getting there! Our goal is to eliminate all the time and money visiting Clark Atlanta University in person until you can make a strong educated guess that it’s worth the investment.

What are the downsides of a Clark Atlanta University virtual tour?

The downside of virtually touring Clark Atlanta University on CampusReel is that, admittedly, our technology does not yet mimic the exact feeling and experience of visiting Clark Atlanta University in person. We are working on this though! A common request we also receive from users is to add more perspectives (e.g. student guides) to the platform. Rest assured we are working on adding more CampusReel guides to the Clark Atlanta University virtual tour. However, our selection of guides still far outweighs the available perspectives of traditional virtual tour platforms.

What are the benefits of a Clark Atlanta University virtual tour?

The most obvious benefit of a Clark Atlanta University virtual tour on CampusReel is that is can be accessed from anywhere. This can save families a lot of time and money compared to visiting Clark Atlanta University in person . Another often overlooked benefit of a CampusReel virtual tour is that it goes far beyond a traditional in person tour Clark Atlanta University . Campus visits are limited both in time and scope – how are you expected to truly understand a college in a 1 hour tour? That’s why we stress the added benefit of CampusReel virtual tours – experience Clark Atlanta University and Atlanta during different seasons, days of the week, and even hours of the day. What’s game day like? What is finals week life? Again, traditional virtual touring platforms don’t include this benefit.

The Buzz 2.0: The Latest on LSU Transfer Hailey Van Lith After SEC Visit

Van Lith took her first visit this offseason after entering the portal, trending to another program.

  • Author: Zack Nagy

In this story:

LSU guard Hailey Van Lith entered the NCAA Transfer Portal last Thursday after one season in Baton Rouge. Now, the coveted free agent has wrapped up her first visit since revealing her decision to depart Kim Mulkey's program.

Van Lith, a former Louisville star who took America by storm with her elite-level scoring ability, is back on the market with several programs looking to battle for her services.

After a disappointing lone season in Baton Rouge, the former All-America honorable mention now looks for a new home for her final season of eligibility. Van Lith will exercise her COVID year after already playing four seasons of college ball.

Over the weekend, Van Lith hit the road to Starkville to take a visit with the Mississippi State Bulldogs.

A prominent figure in the NIL space, Van Lith is the face of the Adidas women's basketball campaign, and will certainly draw attention to whichever program she selects, but Mississippi State got the first crack at her this weekend.

Van Lith decided not to enter the WNBA Draft while electing to remain in college. A player who believes she has the intangibles to succeed at the next level, she will look for a program that will allow her to be her on the floor and boost her draft stock once again.

“You have to kind of look at what type of player you are,” Van Lith said. “There’s some people that have to capitalize in college because they’re not a pro-type player. Their likability is going to stay in college. And I think for me, that’s not the case. I’m a pro-type player. The deals will follow, like Angel said. The one downfall is visibility. And the amount of times we play on ESPN and ABC and all these major television channels, that becomes a lot less when you go to the WNBA where it’s at right now. You’re not going to be in the media as much, but from a brand aspect, as long as you do what you need to do and keep up that part of your life, then brands, they’re going to follow you when you go to the league.”

Van Lith's name is officially in the portal as a graduate transfer. Let's look into a few programs that will almost certainly reach out to the prized guard:

The Buzz: Mississippi State Trending

Over the last 72 hours, there has been buzz that Van Lith has been tied to Mississippi State as a potential transfer portal option, and after speaking with those familiar with her recruitment, there does appear to be some level of "traction" here.

Now, a visit is in the rearview mirror with it reportedly going well after soaking in the campus, checking out a softball game and getting a better understanding of how she could be used in their scheme during the 2024-25 season.

It's important to note that current Mississippi State head coach Sam Purcell was an assistant coach at Louisville during Van Lith's stint with the Cardinals.

The SEC program finished seventh in the conference during the 2023-24 season and immediately would give Van Lith an opportunity to play her style of basketball as a score-first guard.

Along with Mississippi State, the list goes on and on with programs showing interest in the coveted Transfer Portal guard.

Which other schools do we believe could reach out?

The Obvious: South Carolina, Stanford and Iowa Come to Mind

During her recruiting process a year ago, Van Lith told Bleacher Report that South Carolina and Stanford were the other two contenders battling for her services before she selected LSU.

There was a connection with the Cardinal given Van Lith played USA 3x3 ball with All-American Cameron Brink. Now that Brink is headed pro, will it play a role in Stanford being a potential option? Time will tell.

Another program that was on her radar is Dawn Staley's Gamecocks. The powerhouse program would certainly have open arms in bringing in a scoring threat like Van Lith and it's clear her camp had interest a year ago.

The third clear-cut option would be Iowa. National Player of the Year guard Caitlin Clark will depart for the 2024 WNBA Draft as the obvious No. 1 pick in the draft and the Hawkeyes will be looking to find a bucket-getter to score for their program. Iowa is also targeting Villanova superstar Lucy Olsen, the nation's No. 3 scorer, to fill Clark's role.

The "Wild Card" Programs: USC, UCLA, Washington and Ohio State

Van Lith is a West coast player. She grew up in Washington and had PAC-12 interest during her recruitment process years ago. Could she look to head back to the coast and transfer to a school like UCLA, Washington or USC?

The Trojans took America by storm this season with Freshman of the Year JuJu Watkins leading the charge. An elite-level scorer, she could pair well with Van Lith next season if the opportunity presented itself.

The other West coast school that comes to mind is UCLA. A program that will be looking for a scoring replacement, Van Lith could enter the mix for them during the Transfer Portal process this offseason.

Lastly, Ohio State could be a program to monitor. A program losing scoring this offseason, Van Lith could look into the Buckeyes as a school that will allow her to player her game as a lethal bucket-getter, but again, time will tell.

It's been one week since Van Lith entered the portal, and speculation will certainly continue during her process, but these handful of schools will certainly have interest in the coveted guard this offseason.

Ohio State to host Kentucky transfer center Aaron Bradshaw for official visit

cau college tour

Ohio State will host Kentucky transfer center Aaron Bradshaw on an official visit this weekend, The Dispatch can confirm.

The visit, first reported by 247Sports.com, will bring the No. 1 center prospect in the 2023 class to Ohio State’s campus as the Buckeyes look to add some more size to their roster under first-year coach Jake Diebler . The 7-1, 226-pound Bradshaw averaged 4.9 points and 3.3 rebounds while playing 13.7 minutes per game in his lone season with the Wildcats.

A Roselle, New Jersey, native, Bradshaw was the No. 5 national prospect and a five-star player in the 247Sports rankings. The recruiting service now ranks him as the No. 36 overall transfer in the country and a four-star transfer prospect.

In his lone season with Kentucky, which recently lost coach John Calipari to Arkansas and hired BYU’s Mark Pope as his replacement, Bradshaw appeared in 26 games including 10 starts and averaged 13.7 minutes per appearance, shooting 63.4% from two-point range (45 for 71) and 28.6% (4 for 14) from 3. His college career got off to a delayed start after he underwent surgery for a foot injury last June, and he missed the first seven games of the year.

Bradshaw had seven double-digit scoring games and posted 17 points and 11 rebounds, both career-high totals, in a Dec. 9 win against Penn.

Bradshaw is one of two known transfer players taking official visits to Ohio State this weekend. Matt Allocco, a graduate transfer guard from Princeton who graduated from Hilliard Bradley, is also expected to be on campus for his first official visit . Allocco is expected to also visit Notre Dame and is still considering Butler and Villanova.

The Buckeyes have three roster spots available for 2024-25 and are in the market for another guard, a stretch-4 and a center to aid returning starter Felix Okpara and second-year center Austin Parks, who battled injuries and was lightly used in his first season.

Buffalo Bills hosting 2024 NFL Draft’s most intriguing CB on 30-visit

Fan Controlled Football Season v2.0 - Championship

Qwan’tez Stiggers is one of the most interesting prospects in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Stiggers, 22, is expected to be selected in the draft despite never playing a snap of college football. The cornerback attended B.E.S.T. Academy in Georgia and started college at Lane University, but dropped out following his father’s death.

Despite never playing college football, the cornerback is drawing significant interest across the league. Stiggers is set to make a 30-visit with the Bills on Monday and has several other visits lined up.

How did Stiggers land on NFL radars?

It started in the Fan Controlled Football (FCF) league. Stiggers tried out for the indoor American football league after being encouraged by his mother to do so. He made the league, recorded five interceptions and finished as runner-up for Defensive Player of the Year. He played so well in FCF that Josh Jenkins, a former coordinator in the Canadian Football League, urged him to try out for the Canadian league.

Stiggers did so and would sign with the Toronto Argonauts. The cornerback made the team’s final roster and would go on to start 16 games. He recorded five interceptions in his first season with the Argonauts and would end up being named a CFL East All-Star. Stiggers also won the league’s Most Outstanding Rookie Award.

Since taking the CFL by storm, Stiggers attended the East-West Shrine Bowl. He was not invited to the NFL Scouting Combine, but has shown enough in a short time to generate plenty of interest league wide. Stiggers is expected to be selected on day three of the draft. Considering the Bills’ need for cornerback depth, Stiggers could end up being a target for the team with one of their day three picks.

Florida pre-med student stabs mother more than 70 times, killing her during visit, authorities say

A Florida pre-med university student killed his mother by stabbing her over 70 times without saying a word when he visited her from college over the weekend, authorities said.

After Emmanuel Espinoza, 21, killed his mother on Saturday, he perplexedly told detectives that he loved her and that they had a good relationship — but that he had wanted to kill her for years because she irritated him, Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd said.

Espinoza has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of his mother, 46-year-old Elvia Espinoza, the sheriff's office said.

The student at the University of Florida in Gainesville had traveled to Frostproof, Florida, for a family event Saturday and was going to stay with his mother, Judd said .

He arrived at her home around 2 p.m., knocked on the front door, and seemingly without provocation stabbed her "many times" after she opened the door, Judd said.

On Sunday, Judd shared doorbell camera video from Elvia's home that showed Emmanuel approach with a small knife in his right hand, hidden behind his back, and knock on the door. Judd said that Emmanuel had put AirPods in his ears and was playing Kanye West and Jay-Z's song “No Church in the Wild” when he drove up to the house and knocked on the front door.

“His beautiful mother, who was so excited to see her son, opened the door. The second she opened the door, he charged in and started stabbing her,” Judd said.

The mother ran from him, but "he stabbed her until she fell down and died."

Judd said Emmanuel confessed to stabbing his mother repeatedly, even when he noticed her hands were still moving. He told detectives that he knew where to stab her for maximum effect because of his biology classes.

Emmanuel told detectives that he had cut his hand in the stabbing. When he went to the kitchen sink to wash himself and the knife off, "he wanted to ask his mother for the Neosporin for the cut on his hand, but he noticed she was dead," Judd said.

Emmanuel immediately dialed 911 and confessed to operators.

Audio of the dispatch call was played for reporters Sunday.

“I killed someone,” Emmanuel is heard telling dispatch. “I stabbed my mom.”

When Emmanuel spoke with detectives, he told them he loved his mother and had a good relationship with her but that she irritated him.

“We talked to him and he confessed. He said, 'You know, I have wanted to kill my mother for many, many years because she got on my nerves,'" Judd said.

When asked, "What’s your relationship with your mother?" Espinoza replied: "About a eight out of 10."

"He really loved her, but she irritated him and he made up his mind today on his way from Gainesville that he would murder her, and that’s exactly what he did," Judd said Saturday.

The sheriff said Emmanuel told detectives he wasn't on drugs or alcohol at the time of the stabbing — nor did he have any history of such abuse or mental health issues, no arrest record and there was no record of calls under the Baker Act (which focuses on crisis services for individuals with mental illness) to the home.

Emmanuel was known to be introverted and quiet, with zero issues, Judd told reporters. He was the Class of 2020 valedictorian at his high school and was "described as being a genius."

"[Elvia] wanted to come see him because she hadn’t seen him in a while. They text every day, every other day, they stay in constant contact. No issues over money. She would send him money to make sure she appropriately funded his ability to go to college and enjoy his college life. No argument that day. He never said a word to her," Judd said.

Elvia Espinoza was a mother of three and beloved second-grade teacher at Ben Hill Griffin Elementary in Frostproof, and was "well-loved" by the community, the sheriff's office said, calling the incident "an inexplicable vicious murder."

“I want you to understand this lady who was a school teacher for 20 years actually moved around and taught at different schools while her kids were in school so she could be close to them,” Judd said. “I want you to understand that she was the perfect mom. I want you to understand that she was very proud of his accomplishments.”

“Then I want you to understand that he viciously murdered her and confessed to it,” he added.

Polk County Public Schools said in a statement: “Her students and colleagues greatly loved her, and her sudden, unexpected death is a devastating loss. She was a very special part of her school family.”

Grief counselors have been made available at her school and another school where she previously worked.
