We are back from a recent cruise on Celebrity's new ship and have put together this complete Celebrity Beyond Restaurants Guide with menus.

Celebrity Beyond Restaurants

Share this post:

Celebrity Cruises’ newest ship, Celebrity Beyond, just made her debut in the United States, and we set sail on her first cruise from Fort Lauderdale. Now, we are back and have put together this Celebrity Beyond Restaurants Guide with menus so you can see what is available at the different restaurants onboard this latest Edge Class ship.

Celebrity Beyond Restaurants Guide With Menus

Complimentary celebrity beyond restaurants.

There are several dining options on the list of Celebrity Beyond restaurants that are included in your cruise fare. These include not one or two but four complimentary main dining rooms. There is also your typical cruise ship buffet, Oceanview Cafe, as well as the Eden Cafe for sandwiches and the Mast Grill for burgers.

Celebrity Beyond Restaurants

If you are staying in a suite, you will have access to the Retreat and its exclusive Restaurant, Luminae. Similarly, if you are staying in an Aqua Class cabin, you have your own exclusive restaurant, Blu.

Celebrity Select Dining Anytime on Celebrity Beyond

With Celebrity Select Dining Anytime, cruisers have the option to dining at any and all of the four complimentary dining venues. Each of these restaurants features the same list of signature dishes that rotate nightly as well as a list of classic dishes the remain the same throughout the cruise.

Where these restaurants differ is the exclusives section of the menu. This section offers select dishes that are inspired by a certain global flavor. For instance, Normandie’s menu features exclusive French dishes. These options also remain the same for the entire cruise.

These dining venues are open nightly from 5:30 to 9 PM. Cruisers can make reservations pre-cruise or choose to walk up when they are hungry. We did both options and never waited long for a table.

Celebrity Beyond Restaurants

Every morning of your cruise, one of the MDRs is also open for breakfast. The restaurant normally opens around 7:30/8 AM until 9/9:30 AM. This venue serves all your typical breakfast selections in a sit-down format.

Further, the main dining room offers lunch from around noon to 1:30 PM on sea days.

Normandie (Deck 3)

Normandie is the complimentary French-inspired main dining room on Celebrity Beyond. With décor influenced by summertime in Paris, this restaurant features warm pink and red tones, ornate chandeliers, and large accent furniture.

Celebrity Beyond Restaurants

The exclusive menu items include dishes like baked brie, beef tenderloin, pan seared duck, and more.

Normandie Exclusive Menu

Tuscan (Deck 3)

Tuscan is the complimentary Italian restaurant on Celebrity Beyond. The venue is designed with influence from modern Italian fashion and film, with mostly black and white décor with pops of yellow.

The exclusive menu items include tuscan shrimp soup, eggplant bruschetta, a tuscan pork chop, strozzapreti carbonara, and more.

Tuscan Exclusive Menu

Cafe al Bacio (Deck 4)

This coffee house located on Deck 4 of Celebrity Beyond is the perfect spot to grab a specialty coffee (included in the Celebrity beverage packages) and a sweet treat any time of day. All pastries are complimentary and change throughout the day.

Cafe al Bacio features continental breakfast items in the morning to cakes and other items later in the day. Unlike some other atrium cafes, this venue does not offer sandwiches or other such “lunch” items.

The venue is typically open from 6/6:30 AM to midnight.

Cafe al Bacio Menu

Cosmopolitan (Deck 4)

Cosmopolitan is the most similar to the typical main dining room experience that you find on most cruise ships. From the walk-through wine display at the entrance to the venue’s warm décor, you will feel right at home here.

Cosmopolitan’s exclusive menu items include salmon gravalax, oxtail, pan seared black cod, and carrot cake.

Cosmopolitan Exclusive Menu

Cyprus (Deck 4)

Cyprus is the Greek-themed complimentary main dining room on Celebrity Beyond. The color palette has been updated in this venue from the other Edge Class ships to now feature regal red and gold tones with nods to the sea.

celebrity cruises menus 2023

Representing the company’s Greek heritage, the exclusive menu remains focused on seafood and other Mediterranean dishes like cheese saganaki, grilled octopus, lamb shank, and short ribs.

Cyprus Exclusive Menu

Blu (Deck 5)

Blu is the exclusive restaurant for Aqua Class guests on Celebrity Cruises. This intimate space features elegant blue and white décor, alongside a menu with cleaner, healthier options.

Blu is open for breakfast and dinner daily. The venue is usually open for breakfast from around 7:30/8 AM to 9/9:30 AM. Blu is open for dinner from 5:30 to 9 PM nightly.

The dinner menu does change nightly, offering guests plenty of choices if they choose to dine here each evening.

Blu Breakfast | Dinner Menus

Eden Cafe (Deck 5)

Found only on Edge Class ships, this casual and complimentary venue is open for breakfast and lunch. The Eden Cafe is a nice change of pace from the buffet. The location allows for beautiful aft views and some comfy furniture to go along with it. There is also limited al fresco seating on both sides of the ship.

Offering warm breakfast sandwiches and a few other favorites like homemade cinnamon buns, this is a great morning stop for a quick bite. The Eden Cafe is open for breakfast on sea days from around 8 to 9:30 AM.

celebrity cruises menus 2023

For lunch, the venue has paninis, warm and cold sandwiches, a few specialty salads, and a daily carved sandwich. The venue is open for lunch daily from noon to 1:30 PM.

Eden Cafe Breakfast | Lunch

Spa Cafe and Juice Bar (Deck 14)

Located on Deck 14 in the Solarium, the Spa Cafe and Juice Bar serves up healthy options as an alternative to the buffet for breakfast and lunch.

The Spa Cafe is open for breakfast approximately 7 to 10 AM and for lunch from noon to 2 PM. Featuring small plates and smoothies (covered in the Premium Beverage Package), this is the perfect spot for a quick bite to eat while relaxing on a sea day.

Spa Cafe Breakfast Menu | Spa Cafe Lunch Menu

Mast Grill (Deck 14)

This outdoor, casual eatery is a great place to grab some lunch or a midday snack while lounging poolside. Serving up burgers and fries and some other grill favorites, the Mast Grill on Deck 14 is open daily from 11 AM to 6 PM.

Celebrity Beyond Restaurants

It offers some tables in the shade, or you can just grab a snack and head back to your lounge chair on the Resort Deck.

Mast Grill Menu

Oceanview Cafe (Deck 14)

The Oceanview Cafe is your typical cruise ship buffet located on Deck 14 aft. This casual dining spot offers traditional favorites as well as cuisine from around the world with a menu that varies daily.

For breakfast (which usually runs from 6:30 AM to 10 AM), there is your typical selection of eggs, pancakes, custom omelets, breakfast meats, pastries, fresh fruit, and various continental breakfast options. Late risers can grab select options from 10 to 11 AM as well.

Lunch is usually available from noon to 2:30 PM. Dinner is offered in the Oceanview Cafe 6 to 9:30 PM, with pasta, pizza, and salad available until 1 AM.

This venue serves a wide variety of globally inspired cuisines in a casual setting. The options do rotate, but you can find a grill, Indian specialties, Latin favorites, cheese and cold cuts, a pasta station, a salad bar, and more. For dinner, there are also various themed nights.

celebrity cruises menus 2023

The Oceanview Cafe offers plenty of comfy indoor seating as well as al fresco dining that blends seamlessly with the newly designed, two-story Sunset Bar.

Further, located inside the Oceanview Cafe is il Secondo Bacio and the Oceanview Bar for all your beverage needs.

We are not huge fans of buffet-style dining, so we only ate here a couple times for breakfast and lunch. The food was pretty standard, and the crowds were manageable.

Luminae (Deck 16)

Luminae at The Retreat is the exclusive restaurant for suite guests on Celebrity Cruises. On Celebrity Beyond, this venue features a unique new design by Kelly Hoppen that’s as bold as the cuisine served here.

This private restaurant has been moved to the front of the ship and now offers panoramic floor-to-ceiling views for guests to enjoy during every meal.

Celebrity Beyond Restaurants

Luminae is open for breakfast (7:30/8 to 9/9:30 AM), lunch on sea days (noon to 1:30 PM), and dinner (5 to 9:30 PM).

The menu at Luminae does rotate and offers more upscale selections than the main dining rooms. Some featured items include dishes designed by chef Daniel Boulud, the cruise line’s Global Culinary Ambassador.

Specialty Restaurants on Celebrity Beyond

With so many great offerings, you certainly do not have to pay extra for dining on Celebrity Beyond (if you don’t want to). Though, this new ship also offers a plethora of specialty restaurants that are worth a try, including a venue that is brand new to the Celebrity Cruises fleet.

If you plan to dine at any of these restaurants, you should make reservations pre-cruise, as popular dining times and restaurants do fill up quickly. We tried to switch a specialty restaurant reservation once onboard the ship and were not successful due to its popularity.

Le Voyage (Deck 4)

New to Celebrity Beyond is the specialty restaurant Le Voyage. This restaurant is in partnership with chef Daniel Boulud, the cruise line’s Global Culinary Ambassador. Travel is the inspiration for the menu, featuring a variety of global flavors.

This exquisite and intimate restaurant is nestled in the heart of the ship on Deck 4. This meal was one of the highlights of our dining on Celebrity Beyond. Some popular dishes include the Tamarind and Peanut-Crusted Prawns and the Brazilian Moqueca.

celebrity cruises menus 2023

At Le Voyage, guests can opt for a set 5-course meal for $125 or choose their own selections for an appetizer, entrée, and dessert for $75. There is also an optional wine pairing for an additional $100.

Le Voyage Menu

Le Grand Bistro (Deck 4)

This French-inspired eatery on Deck 4 offers specialty dining for lunch. At night, the venue turns into Le Petit Chef, a digitally enhanced dinner experience which includes a four-course meal and a “show”.

Le Petit Chef on Celebrity Beyond does have a different show and menu than the other Edge Class ships. During this show, we learned “How to Become the World’s Greatest Celebrity Chef”. Unfortunately, the show nor the menu items were a favorite of ours. Still, this digitally-enhanced meal is always a fun time.

celebrity cruises menus 2023

For lunch, Le Grand Bistro is priced $30 and is open noon to 1:30 PM. Menu options include moules-frites, escargot, baguette sandwiches, soups, steak frites, and more, in addition to a daily special.

Le Petit Chef is available at 6 PM and 8 PM nightly for a cost of $60. Of note, this is a set menu, but there is an alternate menu that does not go along with the show.

Le Grand Bistro Menu | Le Petit Chef Menu

Fine Cut Steakhouse (Deck 5)

Perhaps one of the most upscale steakhouses at sea, Fine Cut on Celebrity is certainly a slice above other similar venues. This restaurant offers succulent starters like a Lobster Cocktail and Ricotta Gnocchi. Further, the several premium cuts of beef pair well with gourmet sides like Bacon Mac and Cheese and Gruyere Tater Tots.

With a sleek, sophisticated dining room overlooking the Grand Plaza, this up-charge restaurant is open nightly 5:45 to 9 PM for a cover charge of $60. Of note, there is an additional $20 charge for additional entrée orders.

celebrity cruises menus 2023

Like our previous experiences, our meal at Fine Cut did not disappoint. Since I don’t eat steak, I’ll take the hubby’s word that it is one of the best steakhouses at sea.

Fine Cut Menu

Raw on 5 (Deck 5)

This a la carte restaurant on Deck 5 offers a variety of seafood favorites including sushi, mussels, the famous seafood platters, and other land “meats” sea options.

With a fresh and open dining room concept offering ocean views, you can enjoy lunch here on sea days from noon to 1:30 PM and dinner nightly 5:45 to 9 PM.

Raw on 5 Menu

Eden Restaurant (Deck 5)

Perhaps the most unique restaurant on Celebrity’s Edge Class ships is the Eden Restaurant. On Celebrity Beyond, this restaurant now offers both a 7-course tasting menu or you can choose your own appetizers, entrée, and dessert.

Celebrity Beyond Restaurants

The price to dine at Eden is $60, and the venue is open nightly from 5:45 to 9 PM. Of note, you do not need to dine at the restaurant to enjoy the nightly performances in Eden.

Eden Restaurant Menu

Rooftop Garden Grill (Deck 15)

Located on Deck 15, this al fresco restaurant features some mouth-watering options fresh off the grill. Situated in the Rooftop Garden, you will have fantastic views while you dig into classics like baby-back spareribs, roasted chicken, and other BBQ favorites in this sophisticated alcove.

celebrity cruises menus 2023

This al fresco restaurant offers cruisers a unique dining experience with some newly added wind protection for an upcharge of $25 for lunch and $45 for dinner. The venue is open select days for lunch and nightly for dinner from 5:45 to 9 PM.

Thanks for this in-depth description of restaurant options on board the Celebrity Beyond! We have a cruise planned for September 2023, and I was having difficulty understanding which meals / locations were complimentary and which were not, as well as approximate projected costs. Extremely grateful for your post, it helped me a lot!

Thank you for posting the MDR menu. We are booked for July 2024 with our daughter, husband and 2 boys, age 14 and 12. Is there anything for kids on this cruise? We could not even find a ping pong table. They are not into “kids” programs, but love arcades, mini golf and just hanging with family. I am afraid we made a huge mistake to book this cruise, but the Next Cruise booking on RCI said it is a good choice for family’s. I am a wreck worrying about them having a good time. They don’t like sports, more into toned down cruising.

Your YouTube vlogs and your posts on your website, absolutely never disappoint. Thank you!

These Celebrity restaurant and bar menus are from my Millennium 14-day b2b sailing from Vancouver to Seward and back to Vancouver in August of 2019. The Main Dining Room (MDR) dinner menus repeated for the second 7 day leg, so I only posted them once. Feel free to share the menus widely, but please credit profcruise.com and provide a link back to the site. Bon Appétit! You’re most welcome! Glad you found it useful!

Hey, I see you have a picture of gnocchi by the day 7 vegetarian menu, but I don’t see it on the menu. Is this something you asked for, or was it on another menu that I’m not seeing?

It looks like this is a rogue photo. It was an appetizer from day 3 (on the veggie menu)! Thanks for the sharp set of eyes and keeping me honest! I’ll move it to the correct spot. It was delicious, BTW. Next time I’d order two as an entree!

Ooh yes, I see it now. It looks amazing and I would definitely order two! Gnocchi is my absolute favourite! Thanks for the menus -the veggie menus are definitely a step up from what they used to be. It’s now got me thinking about trying Celebrity again!

Celebrity Main Dining Room Menu

  • April 7, 2022

Beef Carpaccio Appetizer

Table of Contents (Click on section)

Celebrity main dining room menu for a 7 day cruise, why it is helpful to know the menu in advance.

Part of the fun and a daily activity can be heading to the restaurant to see the dinner menu. If you like to do that, please do not keep reading since it will spoil your fun. As experienced cruisers who do not want to miss a good dinner but also may want to go to a specialty restaurant (extra charge for dining), it is helpful to know the menu a day or weeks in advance so you can choose when the main dining room menu looks less interesting to you and when to book a specialty restaurant.

You may want to make a reservation before you board before your preferred dining times get filled or want to ensure you can go to the restaurant before the reservations get filled. It is also helpful to know the main dining room menu when planning your shore excursions or sea days to determine if you want to skip the dining room and book a specialty restaurant since they are usually open half an hour later, 9:30 pm.

For the actual menu for your cruise, download the Celebrity app to your phone, under Dining, then Main Dining, you can see the menu for each night. If you do not like the menu for a night, you can try another restaurant if you are on Celebrity Edge/Apex for free, go to the Oceanview Cafe buffet or eat an early dinner at Mast Grill for free, order room service, or reserve a specialty restaurant.

What You Need to Know About Celebrity Dining Menus

The main dining room menu is standard across most Celebrity ships depending on the number of days in the cruise. The dinner menus below was from the Celebrity Reflection in April 2022,  updated for Edge December 2022, updated for Solstice February 2023, then Beyond March 2023 . I have made a note “* Not on Feb 2023 *” to show when an appetizer or entree is no longer included based on the changes Celebrity made in January 2023 to their menus.  I did this changed based on the February Solstice sailing, so I expect the item will remain off all menus across all ships for future cruisings unless Celebrity changes their menu based on guest feedback.

The Celebrity Eclipse, Equinox, Silhouette, Solstice, etc. dining room menus will be the same irrespective of where they are sailing (Caribbean, Alaska, Europe, South America). The menus for a particular sailing may occur on different days. For example, day 1 was the menu for Celebrity Reflection, a March – April sailing but the same menu occurred on day 6 for Celebrity Solstice in May. The Solstice day 1 menu was the same as the day 7 Reflection menu.

Celebrity does not have formal nights, but “Chic Nights” which encourage you to dress up in your dressier clothes, get pictures taken, and have a slightly fancier menu.  These are normally the Sea days and are spaced apart.   For 7 and 10 day cruises, there are are normally two Chic nights and only the second night features a lobster tail.  In January 2023, Celebrity started charging for each additional lobster tail after the first complementary one.

For the main dining room dinner menus below, the “Timeless Appetizers” and “Timeless Entrees” are the same every night of the cruise and are offered each evening. For Celebrity Edge and Apex ships, they are called “Classic Appetizers” and “Classic Entrees.” Since these items are available for the entire cruise each night, they were my third choice on Celebrity Edge/Apex class of ships. the “Celebrity Signatures” section of the menu (appetizers, entrees, desserts) changes each night, so these were my first choice since I was not going to be able to get it again during the trip.  The “Celebrity Exclusive” section is specific to Celebrity Edge/Apex class ships since they have multiple main dining rooms. They feature the specific cuisines based on the dining room and do not change each night. These were my second choice, since we could only get the dish if we came back to that dining room.  I omitted the desserts that change every night.

Celebrity Main Dining Room Timeless Appetizers Menu

Timeless or Classic Starters (same for each day and across all Edge, Apex, Beyond restaurants)

  • Classic “Caesar” Salad – hearts of romaine, garlic croutons, Parmesan cheese
  • Chilled Shrimp Cocktail – classic cocktail sauce
  • Baked French Onion Soup – herb croutons, melted Gruyere chese
  • Escargots a la Bourguignonne -snails, shallots, garlic, parsley, pernod butter

Timeless or Classic Entrees (same for each Day)

  • Broiled Salmon – served plain or with classic hollandaise sauce, mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables
  • Grilled Chicken Breast – garden thyme jus, mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables
  • Grilled New York Sirloin Steak – beurre Maitre d’Hotel, mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables

Timeless or Classic Desserts (same for each day)

  • New York Cheesecake – choice of caramel, chocolate, strawberry, peach or passion fruit toppings
  • Chocolate Cake – layers of dulce de leche and chocolate fudge
  • Sorbet – lemon, kiwi, guava (flavors change each evening)
  • Low Fat Frozen Yogurt – plain, vanilla, peach almond, pina colada, lychee (flavors change each evening)
  • Ice Cream – vanilla, strawberry, chocolate, butter-pecan, pistachio, no sugar added (flavors change each evening)
  • Apple Pie a la Mode – with vanilla ice cream
  • Creme Brulee

Cosmopolitan, Normandie, Tuscan, and Cyprus Menus

The third section of the Celebrity Edge and Apex is the “Exclusive” menu section associated with the regional specialties offered at each of themed main dining rooms: Cosmopolitan, Tuscan, Normandie, and Cyprus. They stay the same for the entire voyage and do not change. I have heard, but not verified, that you can order the dishes at other restaurants. I think this could be true if the main dining restaurant is on the same floor. For example, on Celebrity Edge, Cosmopolitan and Cyprus are on deck 4 and likely share the same kitchen. Normandie and Tuscan are on deck 3.

The Beyond ship has different exclusive menu offerings than the Edge and Apex ships, so you will see my notes “(not on Beyond)” or “(on Beyond).”

If you really love something from the Celebrity Signature menu, it is best to order it since it will not be offered again. For the restaurant exclusive menus, as long as you come back to the restaurant, you can order the dishes again.

Cosmopolitan restaurant features American dishes with global influences. It has a modern, sleek, bright interior with an impressive floor to ceiling wine refrigerator.

Normandie restaurant is an upscale French restaurant in soothing Cherry blossom pink tones, wood from the Normandie restaurant on Celebrity Summit, and lovely glass vases and art.

Tuscan restaurant is the Italian restaurant with homemade pasta. The interoir features black and white bold patterns with black and yellow chairs.

Cyprus restaurant features Mediterranean and Greek dining with cream and blue tones.

What Times are the Main Dining Room, Buffet Times, and Specialty Restaurants Open?

The main dining room opens at 5:45 pm for the Early seating. Luminae for the Retreat suite guests and Blu for Aquaclass guests also open at 5:45 pm.

The main dining room is open 5:30 pm – 9:00 pm for the Celebrity Select Dine Anytime dining meaning if you have indicated on your cruise reservation dining seating time as “Anytime,” you can show up any time in when the restaurant is open to dine. Luminae and Blu also close at 9:00 pm. We try to avoid arriving at 8:55 pm, since the wait staff have been up since breakfast and would likely like to go to bed or to a great party at some point.

For other complimentary dining options, Oceanview Cafe, the buffet, is open 6:00 pm – 9:30 pm. Pizza and a limited selection of food is available until 1:00 am. The Mast Grill closes at 5:30 pm. Cafe al Bacio has desserts until 12:00 am (midnight).

Le Petit Chef dining room

The specialty restaurant (additional charge) restaurants are open until 9:30 pm. Reservations are strongly recommended since they may not have availability if you just walk up. Examples include Murano, Tuscan Grill, Lawn Club Grill, and Sushi on Five. Le Petit Chef has certain showing of the animation timed with presentation of the dinner courses, so reservations are needed for that restaurant.

Tips on Getting a Discount at Specialty Restaurants

Celebrity normally offers 30% off at specialty restaurants for Day 1 or the evening you embark that you can book ahead of time using your cruise planner or when you get on-board, if there are any openings. A second way to get discounted specialty dining is to buy a package of dinners on the Celebrity website before you board or after you board, then book your reservation onboard the first day. A third way to get a discount is to talk to your main dining room waiter to see if their are any openings for the following night at a specific restaurant. If there are a lot of openings, you may be able to get 20 – 50% off for the next night.

Room Service Menu

Room service can be ordered for breakfast and all day. I like to order room service breakfast for the days we need to get off the ship. Put your hanging tag for breakfast on your outside door handle by 1:00 am the evening before. If you want cream or almond milk for your coffee, milk for your cereal or ketchup for your eggs/hashbrowns, you need to write it in.

For Soups and Starters: chicken noodle soup, soup of the day, chicken skewers with yogurt sauce, fruit plate.

Salads: Caesar salad, mixed green salad (balsamic, blue cheese, Caesar, Italian vinaigrette, or ranch dressing)

Entrees: hamburger and fries, penne primavera, seared salmon with vegetables, turkey club aandwich (bacon, lettuce, tomato, fries)

For guests staying in suites, room service is complimentary. For all other guests, Continental breakfast is complimentary, but all other orders have a $9.95 service charge plus 18% gratuity (new as of January 1, 2023).

Room service is available 24 hours a day except the first day when it starts at 6:00 pm. Room service breakfast is not available on the last day that you disembark. It ends at 1:00 am.

Room Service Hours:

Breakfast: 6:00 am – 9:30 am

All day: 11:00 am – 5:00 am

Captain’s Club Specialty Coffee Break

We had skipped this perk for many cruises, because we thought “Why go there just for coffee?”  Actually, it features a lovely Continental breakfast (but no hot items like eggs, omeletes, bacon) but you can get a most filling Charcuterie platter with an assortment of cheeses, cold cuts, smoked salmon, mini-bagels), danishes and croissants, smoked salmon platter, and smoothies. It provides a more relaxing breakfast and lighter breakfast experience than the more crowded Oceanview Cafe.

Celebrity Cruises Drinks & Bar Menus – Know what to expect on your next cruise

On a recent voyage (December 2023), we took the time to scan each of the drink menus on the Celebrity Constellation. These menus are representative of the drink & cocktail prices across the fleet of Celebrity ships, though some newer ships may have more unique bar menus.

Don’t forget that the prices do not include the mandatory 20% gratuity/service charge

We thought the prices were in line with most major cruise lines, however, there were an incredible number of standard wines and other beverages that were not available during the voyage leaving only more expensive options to choose from. If this is what is happening across the company it makes the drink package(s) seem like a decent deal if you can get it at the right price.

Pool Bar & Buffet Beverage Menus on Celebrity

The typical menus found at the pool bars and in the buffet area of the ships. Some of the beer, in my opinion, is excessively priced. The rest of the drinks seem on par with what you’d expect on any cruise line.

Please wait while flipbook is loading. For more related info, FAQs and issues please refer to DearFlip WordPress Flipbook Plugin Help documentation.

Cocktail & Bar Menus

The bar menus in the lounges vary, but this is the staple offering across the cruise line. Most cocktails were $12 throughout the ship and none were poured “light”.

Celebrity Cruises Wine Menu

Even though there was a dedicated wine bar on our latest cruise, the options seemed quite limited. Many weren’t available even if listed. What is posted as the available brands on the Celebrity website is unfortunately quite different than what the reality is.

Celebrity Cruises Martini Bar Menu

The martini bars on the Celebrity ships are hugely popular, for good reason! But the prices have gone up quite a bit in recent years. At $17 each, there are no martinis that now fit within the Classic beverage package, meaning you have to splurge for the Premium drink package if you want them included (or pay the difference in cost of a few dollars).

Other drink Prices on Celebrity Cruises

We try to scan every menu while we’re on a cruise, but for whatever reason, Celebrity has pulled many of the menus that are more general and replaced them with the above cocktail menus that aren’t totally inclusive.

It could be because of the rapid price changes across the fleet.

It left us asking everywhere we went, how much certain spirits were before we ordered. It was relatively frustrating to not be able to know what was offered and what the pricing was like.

Here are a few takeaways from our inquiries while onboard:

  • Macallan is $19 a pour now.
  • Woodford is at $17 a pour
  • There are very few wines and beers within the $10 price of the basic drink package
  • Wines by the glass and beers are priced between $12 and $17
  • There is an “elevated” selection of wines by the glass anywhere between $22-$36

Thanks for sharing the drink menus. Helps us to decide to upgrade out drink package to premium. Much appreciated. Pattie

I’m glad this helped Pattie! Unfortunately you almost have to upgrade the drink package to get anything decent now 🙁

Enjoy your cruise!

Thanks so much for the above information, really helps me. I’m trying to find out the cost of spirits, especially whiskey.Do you have this information please. Thankyou

Hi Sue – They weirdly didn’t have separate spirits menus! I do know Dewar’s White Label, Famous Grouse, Jim Beam, Johnnie Walker Red, Monkey Shoulder, Seagram’s VO were all under $10 for a single pour. Since these are under the higher end drink package, they’ll be less than $17 : Aberfeldy 12, Bulleit Bourbon, Chivas Regal 12, Dewar’s 12, Gentleman Jack, The Glenlivet, Jack Daniel’s Black, Jack Daniel’s Rye, Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel, Johnnie Walker Black, Johnnie Walker Double Black, The Macallan Lumina, The Macallan Quest, Maker’s Mark, Rittenhouse Rye, Wild Turkey, Woodford Reserve.

I hope this helps a little. Unfortunately, I looked at all the menus we have and none are specific with prices of their other brands.

Perfect, thankyou so much. Just trying to work out if it’s worth the drinks package, this helps a lot. Do they put the 20%on every drink you order rather than the package?? Thanks for your help

If you don’t buy a package, and buy drinks as you go, the gratuity is added on every drink. If you buy the package, there is a 20% gratuity added to the package during checkout, and you won’t pay anymore – UNLESS – the drink you order isn’t covered by the package, then you pay 20% on the difference of the price only.

Thankyou, It’s very strange because we’ve reserved the package and the 20%wasnt added, just wanted to check it wouldn’t be later. Really appreciate your help and advice.

That is strange, are you by chance outside of the US? On European and UK prices, the price includes gratuities (not separate line item during checkout like it is in the USA)

Yes,I did wonder if this was the case. Yes in uk

Thanks for posting these menus this is exactly what I wanted to see. I am also disappointed not to see more choices on the menus. 😪

Cool Cruiser

3 hours ago, foodsvcmgr said: Sad that there are no more actual rotating appetizers, only soups and salads plus the daily shrimp cocktail and escargot.

Even the entrees seem very repetitive.  When you used to have this many options, PLUS the daily baked chicken, salmon, and steak, now those 3 always included options are part of the regular selection.   I feel like they used to have a shellfish option every night, in addition to pork and another fish choice.  Now the options other than chicken and pork seem limited.

I remember being disappointed on my last cruise (2017) that I never tried the daily steak, but there were too many other interesting options every day.  Looking at these menus, though, I'm leaning towards steak being the only choice I'd be interested in on about half those menus!   Granted, I don't like turkey, and chicken needs to be special for me to order it.  I try not to fill up on pasta - too many carbs!    I recognize those are my own limitations, but I still used to have plenty of options, and now they are very limited.

Yesterday, I could no longer see the menus on the app for my April 2024 Beyond sailing.  I checked again just now and they're still not there. Is anyone able to see the menus? Or did they move them somewhere else on the app?

chocolabmom

My Beyond April 2024 cruise is not showing any menus in the app, either.

Thanks

You are better off looking at a current/upcoming sailing on your ship to see correct menus.  Anything out there too soon is not accurate.

Based on my Summit cruise last week, you are correct; the Oceanview Buffet has definitely improved from what was reported a few months ago.  At least on Summit, there were many stations open at dinner and the freshly made stir-fry was thankfully back.

Ask me how I know?  The menu in BLU was so diminished in choice and quality we "dined" on the stir-fry in the Oceanview twice in 11 nights, plus ate a salad the evening before disembarkation (when the 4 entree choices in BLU were Tuna, Duck Confit, Meatloaf and Mushroom Risotto) so a total of 3 nights.  For point of comparison, we'd never chosen to skip BLU in over 20 cruises when we have paid the AQ price specifically to dine in BLU.  And that doesn't even include the 2 nights we just gave up and ordered from the MDR menu.

If you want a menu with more choices, you can check out other lines.  Just sailed on Carnival (yes, gasp, lovely homeport cruise that we could drive to).  MDR was excellent with lots of good choices.  I know it is not Celebrity just pointing out that the folks that say all the lines are making the same cuts are not looking around.  And would be willing to bet others like HAL, Princess, Oceania, Virgin, Virgin Voyages, etc still have variety.  Looking at NCL's menus they too show more choices.

Celebrity and Royal are the ones that seem to have the fewer choices.

Thanks happy cruzer!  Someone actually posted new Carnival menus a few weeks ago and they did seem to have much more interesting and varied choices (gasp) 😀

You are exactly right and we are indeed looking at alternatives as we've now experienced it ourselves.

I’m responding to this post from a cabin on Summit, and I spent a month on the Silhouette this summer, eating in MDR and a few specialty restaurants.

The Summit buffet for dinner was good. No obvious cutbacks, it’s a smaller setup, but it is a smaller ship. Maybe there is one less salad station and one less drink station (Summit has stations distributing soft drinks), but the variety is there, with a theme each evening. We are a group of four, one person complained about food being cold, and I had one cold item, the rest of my hot food was hot. I only ate dinner at the buffet once on Silhouette during that month - everything that should have been hot, was cold and half the stations were closed (but it was an overnight port, and I suspect that affected staffing and the number of diners)

The Summit MDR now however is almost awful. Very limited and very repetitive. Most nights the only beef dish is the classics steak. Small unattractive scoops of mashed potatoes is the usual veggie, with poorly seasoned green beans. What on earth is so expensive about cheesecake that it came off the classics dessert menu??? Food is cold or near cold and staff is harried. Wine refilled maybe once.

If you didn’t know how nice it was even in July, you wouldn’t realize how different it is now, but the Celebrity food is no reason to cruise.

We had dinner last night in Sushi on 5, everyone was generally pleased, not the finest sushi, but ok. Why plain ginger salad is not an option is a mystery, but otherwise we were happy.

5 hours ago, foodsvcmgr said: Sad that there are no more actual rotating appetizers, only soups and salads plus the daily shrimp cocktail and escargot.

Neither of which I can eat due to allergies.

Not looking forward to Caesar Salad or French Onion Soup for 15 nights!

The entrees are not much better for me and we have more variety at home.

And before somebody tells me to stay home, I had expected the same or similar to what we experienced last December.

10 hours ago, Baggy178 said: Perhaps it's just us down in Riff Raff Clas™ but those menus look perfectly fine to us. Varied with lots of choice. It's mass catering not fancy pants - what do you expect ?

I also don’t understand all the wailing having looked at these menus.  I’d expect Aqua or Luminae to be even better.  I’d like to try a lot of these entrees.

Maybe I’m not qualified to comment since I’ve never spent $1,000 on a meal.

7 hours ago, Smmessineo said: Several corrections to your assumptions. I'm not comparing Celebrity menus from many years ago, I'm comparing them from months ago. I sailed December 2022 on the Equinox. Ship was full, long after the return to sailing after COVID.  And don't insult me  and imply  marketing has us hooked. The 8 cruises I have booked with them were at lower prices and better add-ons than offered now. I wouldn't book them in today's conditions. The 2 cruises I booked this past month are not with Celebrity.  They are losing a lot of loyal cruisers and picking up new cruisers like you for their next era.

I’m pretty new to Celebrity.  I get around and have a decent understanding of food and wine.  I guess my problem is I can’t tell the different between French escargot and American or how to tell the 1955 Dom Perignon from the 1963.  I don’t expect beluga caviar on a cruise ship.

Somehow even with all this angst, I think I will survive my next Celebrity cruise.  I’m feeling a lot better about things, seeing these menus.

Haha

I think most of us are like  Zitsky....We've been on X since Mercury  Century days...mostly in AQ Class.. Just want decent  good tasting food, nicer presenation and attentive service!

10 hours ago, Islander500 said: The "you didn't starve" argument is absurd.      I didn't book another cruise on-board as I usually do so it definitely tells me something about my expectations and what I value. If I'm going to pay those prices, I expect better quality choices and food, not to be disappointed most evenings.

Amen.  No one would book reservations at a restaurant with the baseline being they "won't starve."  In 2023, for restaurant dining, one can look at the menu, read reviews, see pictures, and generally make informed decisions.  On Celebrity they make that difficult, and have run their food program into the ground.  The only reason why the ships are full are because of past reputation.  The menus aren't even contemporary in their preparations.  Scoops of mashed potatoes that appear as if they are from a 1960s hospital cafeteria are not normal for modern dining.  The local Applebees, Cheesecake Factory, Chili's and other chain restaurant menus are more interesting. The pandemic and supply chain issues are over, and any company that purchases as much food as Celebrity does that can't figure out how to have interesting menus, choice, and some semblance of quality should go out of business.

4 hours ago, chocolabmom said: My Beyond April 2024 cruise is not showing any menus in the app, either.

For Beyond in March 2024 the MDR menus had been kind of present a few weeks ago, as lunch was missing.  Now all gone.  Luminae is now also missing, and never showed lunch as an open time or menu for sea days.   We can add this to the list of poor customer service, and probably worse.

At least theoretically for the Edge Class MDRs gimmicks, there should be a handful of menu items themed to each dining room each day plus some classics.  But, it would not surprise me if they gut the gimmicks and utilize the same menu in each dining room.

12 hours ago, diesel1973 said: I have about 50 lbs. of salmon in my freezer from my 6 week fishing trip in Alaska.

I can guarantee that your salmon is much higher quality than the farmed salmon that X is serving.  Yours is wild which is full of Omega 3's.  The Farmed salmon has coloring added to make it pink.  Nope!!  Don't even get me started on the Tilapia ( Farmed in Asia, low quality control)

I think by now we all know tastes/food choice is very subjective.  My town is full of chain restaurants and people flock to them.  I avoid them as much as possible.  I prefer farm to table, pasture raised eggs, pasture raised chicken.  Thus, I'm usually always disappointed on a cruise.  I even moved up to Oceania because of the " Finest food at sea" or something like that.  My first O cruise in Feb 2022 impressed me.  This recent one, not so much.  Powdered scrambled eggs on the buffet, veggies cooked to oblivion and then shoved between lasagna noodles on the last day( no ricotta either).  Loose polenta was turned into polenta triangles with a piece of sausage on top.  Lots of repurposing of leftovers.

Every time I live blog and complain about the food, people tell me that maybe I shouldn't cruise.  I say there are other reasons besides food to cruise.  However, with rising prices, I'm beginning to think I should not take as many cruises.  In fact, I've cancelled a cruise on O and a cruise on X next year.  I did book a 4 day Virgin just to see what the food is like.

3 hours ago, Islander500 said: It sounds like you are exactly who they are catering to. Enjoy your cruise!

You know, most people can tell when they’re being insulted.

Those menus look really bad.  They look boring and very uninspired. Celebrity has really gone down hill from their early years. Wow what a difference.  Look at the appetizers pretty much soup or salad.

When comparing our June Solstice cruise to our current Oceania cruise Celebrity is just sad.  What a difference.

Could they at least change up the potatoes? I like mashed potatoes but not 12 days in a row!

I’m assuming the Salmon is farmed? Has anyone had that confirmed?

Or fifteen . . . I don't even eat them more than once a week at home!

tigervixxxen

On longer cruises they have to bring back axed dishes in order to fill out menus for the full sailing. So a typical 7 night cruise won’t have those kind of choices.

2 hours ago, Baynanno1 said: Or fifteen . . . I don't even eat them more than once a week at home!

I don’t eat them at all! I love most food but cannot abide mashed potatoes. Except for my mum’s and then not often! Edit: we are in an SV in June so have made several speciality reservations just in case!

Menus have disappeared from our upcoming Beyond cruise on the 20th this month. I’m hoping lobster roll is still available in Luminae 😍

Aloha. Thank you for posting these menus. Have been blessed to sail Celebrity since its first ship and many many ships and cruises with them thereafter. These menus are sad. Very repetitive and nothing in general I cannot make at home. I know they want you to pay for specialty dining but unfortunately the menus are shameful.

‘The Masked Singer’ Reveals Identity of Sir Lion: Here Is the Celebrity Under the Costume

The Masked Singer Sir Lion

SPOILER ALERT: Do not read ahead if you have not watched Season 11, Episode 4 of “ The Masked Singer ,” “TV Theme Night,” which aired March 27 on Fox.

“ Extra ” host Billy Bush won’t get an extra shot at “The Masked Singer.” The entertainment newsmagazine anchor and one-time morning drive radio host was the next celebrity to be unmasked on Wednesday’s “TV Theme Night” edition of “The Masked Singer.”

“I’m not a great singer,” Bush said. “If you can’t make it with the lips, make it with the hips. If you’ve never done something that’s a little on the scary side — and this is scary — say yes!”

Lizard (for the second week in a row) and Sir Lion were the two lowest vote-getters of the night, and they faced off in the smackdown — both performing “Who Are You” by the Who (which also happens to be the “Masked Singer” theme). Sir Lion was voted out, leaving Lizard, Poodle Moth and Clock to return for the next round.

Bush has been host of “Extra” since 2019; he previously was an anchor on “Access Hollywood” and the third hour of “Today,” until during the 2016 presidential campaign a 2005 video resurfaced of Donald Trump and Bush exchanging lewd remarks.

Billy Bush as Sir Lion joins Joe Bastianich (Spaghetti & Meatballs), Savannah Chrisley (Afghan Hound) and Kevin Hart (Book) as the celebrities unmasked on “The Masked Singer” this season.

Because it was “TV Theme Night,” the four panelists opened the show with their rendition of the “Gilligan’s Island” opener.

Back for Season 11 are host Nick Cannon, alongside panelists Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg, Ken Jeong and Robin Thicke, while Rita Ora has joined the desk to fill in for Nicole Scherzinger, who was in London to star on the West End’s “Sunset Boulevard.”

With sixteen total celebrity singers, including three “wildcards,” Season 11 features new costumes including “Gumball,” “Lizard,” “Ugly Sweater,” “Goldfish,” “Starfish,” “Book,” “Gumball,” “Miss Cleocatra,” “Afghan Hound,” “Beets,” “Poodle Moth,” “Clock,” “Spaghetti & Meatballs” and “Lizard.” According to the show, the Season 11 contestants boast a combined 22 Grammy nominations, 11 platinum albums, 33 Teen Choice nominations, 108 million records sold, 326 film appearances and 1.7 billion Spotify streams.

Here were the other Group C performances on Wednesday’s Episode 4, “TV Themes Night”:

Song: “Good Times,” by Blinky and Jim Gilstrap

Panel guesses: Stephanie Mills, Debbie Allen, Janet Jackson

Clue: Jill Whelan from “The Love Boat.” “Love and boat, two things that combine to make a hit. Something I know first-hand.”

Package voiceover: “I had the time of my life singing on Billy Joel night. And I’m making every second count on the stage. In my life, I’ve had my fair share of ups and downs. Just like any good TV series, I’ve laughed and I’ve cried. And thank goodness, I’ve always been renewed. But I think it’s my positive outlook that’s carried me season to season. When I was broke, I appreciated the free things in life. When my car didn’t start, what a beautiful day for a walk. And even though my marriages didn’t work out, something great came from those relationships. My beautiful children. I’ve learned there will always be good times and bad. And now, let’s keep the good times going all the way to the Group C finale.”

Previous song: “Piano Man,” by Billy Joel

Previous panel guesses: Anita Baker, Evelyn Champagne King, Diana Ross

Poodle Moth

Song: “Unwritten,” by Natasha Bedingfield

Panel guesses: Melissa McCarthy, Lauren Graham, Connie Britton

Clue: “The Hills” stars Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt as a choir to sing the “Gilmore Girls” theme “Where You Lead,” by Carole King. “I have a very special connection to ‘Gilmore Girls’ that hits very close to home.”

Previous song: “Just the Way You Are,” by Billy Joel

Previous panel guesses: Trisha Yearwood, Wynonna Judd, Rita Wilson

Song: “Scooby-Doo, Where Are You?,” by Larry Marks

Panel guesses: Michael Bivins, Ray J, Sisqó

Clue: Scooby-Doo.” “A dog actually helped me reach an even bigger audience.”

Package voiceover: “I really turnt it up last time. That smackdown got my heart racing. Now, being here on TV Theme Night has taken me back to my beginnings. As a little lizard, I loved cartoons so much that I spent all my days drawing them. I got so good, I was offered a dream job at a huge animation studio. Yeah, the mouse was chasing this Lizard pretty hard. It was a great opportunity. And my dad begged me to take it. But deep down, I knew I wanted to be a performer. So, I put down my pencil and took the riskier road to stardom. And my dad was shook. But that lit the fuel to my fire to prove to him that I could pull it off. And when I eventually became one of the most recognizable reptiles on the planet, he was so proud. Now I might not draw animation, but I sure do draw in the crowds. And tonight, I’m singing a song from a cartoon classic. Let’s Scooby-Doo this thing.”

Previous song: “Uptown Girl,” by Billy Joel

Previous panel guesses: Michael Bivins, Ricky Bell, Ronnie DeVoe, Ralph Tresvant, Ray J

Sir Lion (WILDCARD)

Song: “Love and Marriage,” by Frank Sinatra

Panel guesses: Anderson Cooper, Ryan Seacrest, Andy Cohen

Clue: Flintstones “co-star.” “I wasn’t in the cartoon, but I’ve co-starred on a different TV show with Betty Rubble.”

Package voiceover: “Every good night of television needs a twist! So, what better role for me to play than the wildcard. Like the king of the jungle, I come from a well-known pride. But never took it for granted. I jumped through hoops to become a ringleader in Hollywood. Rubbing elbows with everyone from Tom Cruise to Tom Hanks. But in show business, the higher you climb, the harder you fall. Luckily, lions are fierce, and I’ve landed on my feet no matter what this town throws my way. In Hollywood, success and struggle go together like a horse and carriage. Get ready to fall in love with this lion.”

Last season’s performers included Ne-Yo as Cow, John Schneider as Donut, Macy Gray as Sea Queen and Janel Parrish as Gazelle join John Oates as Anteater, Keyshia Cole as Candelabra, Sebastian Bach as Tiki, Ginuwine as Husky, Ashley Parker Angel as S’more, Metta World Peace as Cuddle Monster, Luann de Lesseps as Hibiscus, Tyler Posey as Hawk, Billie Jean King as Royal Hen, Michael Rapaport as Pickle, Tom Sandoval as Diver, Anthony Anderson as Rubber Ducky and one-time special guest Demi Lovato as Anonymouse.
