Louis Tomlinson 's career has truly soared to new heights since he wrapped up his first-ever solo tour last year. In November 2022, he secured his first solo Number 1 album with Faith In The Future , going on to give fans a raw insight into his life in the Charlie Lightening-directed documentary All Of Those Voices and announce 2023's The Away From Home Festival , Italy.

Now, Louis is ready to take his second studio album on the road with his Faith In The Future world tour.

Kicking things off at Mohegan Sun Arena, Uncasville, Connecticut on May 26, before finally reaching the UK this November, the concert will see Louis play tracks like Bigger Than Me, Silver Tongues and Written All Over Your Face (and some One Direction deep cuts and an Arctic Monkeys cover) to hundreds of thousands of fans globally.

Louis Tomlinson's 'Faith in the Future Tour' Setlist Revealed After First Few North American Shows (& It Features 2 One Direction Songs!)

Louis Tomlinson is traversing North America on the latest leg of his Faith in the Future World Tour , and we’ve got the setlist from his first few shows.

The 31-year-old kicked off his latest string of shows on May 26 in Connecticut and has already made several more stops on the road.

His setlist features a blend of songs from his two solo albums, a rock cover and two interpretations of songs that Louis released as a member of One Direction !

Interestingly both of the One Direction songs Louis is performing are off the bands’ album Four . Of the two, “Night Changes” was released as a single. The other – “Where Do Broken Hearts Go” – never got a single treatment.

Louis Tomlinson Schedules North American ‘Faith in the Future’ Tour for 2023

Louis Tomlinson will be spending most of the upcoming year on the road thanks to an extensive world tour supporting his sophomore studio album Faith in the Future , set for release on Nov. 11. The singer has scheduled dates for the North American leg for next summer, slotting 39 shows ahead of the European stretch of concerts he announced last month.

“Really really excited to finally announce the North America tour,” Tomlinson wrote on Twitter. “These songs were created for these moments and I can’t wait to share them with you!”

The North American portion of the Faith in the Future world tour will begin on May 26 in Uncasville, Connecticut, with a show at the Mohegan Sun Arena. Tomlinson will make stops in Toronto, Cincinnati, Columbus, Kansas City, Minneapolis, Seattle, Berkeley, Las Vegas, Dallas, Atlanta, Nashville, Boston, and more. The tour will conclude on July 29 at Forest Hills Stadium in New York.

“It was my first moment of excitement making this record, and where it felt we were on to something which honors the live show,” Tomlinson said in a statement about the latter single. “I realized from doing those live shows what it means to my fans and how everything I do is bigger than me. It’s almost a coming of age for myself and putting opinions about myself to the back of my mind and thinking about what it potentially means for other people.”

Tomlinson announced the EU and UK leg of the tour on his social media on October 14, 2022, around a month before the release of his second album. In his Instagram post, he claimed:

"I can’t tell you how much the tour this year has done for me so I wanted to get on the road again as soon as I could. I had this tour in mind with every song we wrote on the new album. Looking forward to playing the new stuff live." [1]

Concert Review: Louis Tomlinson - Faith In The Future World Tour

I have always gone back and forth on my favourite One Direction member but I would say the solo careers of Louis Tomlinson and Harry Styles never fail to blow me away. Louis in specific stands out hugely for his unique sound and captivating stage presence . I'm not going to forget to mention his incredible album Faith In The Future which was released November 2022 which has to be the best album released from a 1D member! To support FITF, Louis has been touring all around the world since May 2023 and he recently began the UK/Europe leg of the Faith In The Future World Tour. Last night, I went to the Manchester show at the AO Arena and it was better than I ever expected so here is a little review!

The crowd erupted with excitement when we began to hear the intro to The Greatest - the opener from FITF. With lots of lighting effects and a killer band it was a perfect opener, everyone knew the words and Louis encouraged fans to scream along.

He then played Kill My Mind - a fan favourite from his debut album 'Walls'. This got everyone jumping up and down and screaming, I don't think Louis could do a concert without playing this song. He then played, Bigger Than Me which was the first single from his album. This song perfectly displays Louis's crisp vocals and deep lyrics which makes it such a beautiful song to hear live and again got everyone singing along.

Holding On To Heartache, Face The Music and We Made It joined the setlist. HOTH has a very scream-worthy bridge and so everyone SCREAMED it - we must have been the loudest crowd. Face The Music is also from FITF and I can't explain how catchy this song is, I love it and We Made It is a lovely song from his debut solo album which he asked the crowd to scream along with him.

Of course we can't forget his One Direction days and he spoke to the crowd about how grateful he was to be back in the same arena he first auditioned playing a show over 10 years later for the fans that had followed him throughout his career. So, he played the 1D classic Drag Me Down, everyone in the arena was singing along at this point it was so much fun.

He then sung Chicago my absolute favourite Louis song. I cannot tell you how happy it made me to finally hear this live because I was terrified he was going to remove it from the setlist, it was definitely the highlight of the night. He also sung Copy of a Copy of a Copy an unreleased track that is a fan favourite, every seemed to know the words despite it not being released on and music platforms. To switch up the set a bit her plays a cover of 505 by Arctic Monkeys at every show which keeps the energy at the show going, Louis's vocals perfectly match the sound of this song.

Nearing the end of his set, Louis sung one of his first solo singles Back To You which was originally performed with Bebe Rexha, Angels Fly (which is such a beautiful song) and Out Of My System before disappearing from the stage.

Not long later, the crowd erupted in screams as he came back on the stage for the encore. He sung Saturdays first which is such a crowd pleaser, he then sung another One Direction banger Where Do Broken Hearts Go and finished with Silver Tongues. I really don't think that he could have chosen a better song with, everyone was screaming especially the line 'but I don't feel like going home' (very on theme) and dancing/jumping everywhere. There was confetti cannons, fireworks and incredible lighting! Louis's songs are just made to be performed.

I am so appreciative that I got to go and I will definitely be attending his next tour. I also want to mention his incredible openers Rachel Chinouriri and The Academic you should give them a listen! I would definitely recommend this show to anyone if you still have the chance to go it is so worth it!

Louis Tomlinson announced the launch of his world tour in 2023. The announcement coincides with the release of his latest album Faith in the Future , which arrives first thing Friday. 

The One Direction alum also dropped the single “Silver Tongues” ahead of the album’s release this week. The single, which includes pop-punk elements, is the third track from the album and the one Tomlinson is most proud of creating, he said in a press release.

The former One Direction star has been working tirelessly ahead of his second album dropping, and it’s clear he’s set to give fans the show they deserve to go along with his new bops.

His second studio album ‘Faith In The Future’ is set to drop on November 11 and will feature 14 tracks; two of which he’s already dropped - ‘ Bigger Than Me ’ and ‘Out Of My System’.

Louis’ upcoming tour is set to kick off in Europe in August 2023, with the ‘Defenceless’ singer hitting the UK in November.

• 10 November, 2023 - Utilita Arena, Sheffield
• 11 November, 2023 - AO Arena, Manchester
• 12 November, 2023 - OVO Hydro, Glasgow

• 15 November, 2023 - International Arena, Cardiff

Louis Tomlinson's Faith In The Future UK album signings

Louis also excitedly announced that UK fans will be treated to a mini-tour of album signings after 'Faith In The Future' drops on November 11.

He’ll be heading across the UK to meet fans and sign their copies of the album in various record stores from London and Birmingham to Manchester and Sheffield.
