Excellent tour. Musical tour as you drive around the city. A mix of hip hop history, civil rights history, and film sites.

My grandson wanted to come back to Atlanta for his final spring break as a high school senior. Of course, he wanted Ryan's Hip Hop Tours of Atlanta to be a part of our visit--AGAIN. We took the tour last year while visiting Atlanta and were blown away. It's just an awesome all-around tour that gives you a taste of Atlanta--from the history of this wonderful city to the music scene with its many homegrown artists. And you couldn't ask for a more knowledgeable, friendly, and professional tour guide than Ryan, an Atlanta native son. If I could give this tour more than 5 stars, I would. It's just that good! The tour this time was as equally entertaining and enlightening as last year but customized since we had already done the traditional hip hop tour last year. Ryan is the best of the best, and I would highly recommend the tour, including to families with children of various ages. It's a history lesson rolled into an approximately 4-hour tour.

There are sightseeing tours, and then there's the Hip Hop Tours of Atlanta tour. This tour is in a class all by itself, the Rolls Royce of tours. From the moment my grandson and I were picked up, Ryan "welcomed us to Atlanta" with a behind-the-scenes tour of the real Atlanta. Born and raised in Atlanta, Ryan's  knowledge of his beloved city is phenomenal. His down-to-earth, laid back style is warm and welcoming. From the history of the city to the Hip Hop scene, we got a real taste of Atlanta from one of its native sons. I would highly recommend this tour. It is beyond EXCELLENT, and on a scale of 1 to 5 (with five being the highest rating), I'd give it a 10!!

Ryan is amazing. Great knowledge of Atlanta's hip hop and history! Everyone in our group of six had a wonderful time. Ryan's communication before and during the tour was on point. My wife grew up in Atlanta and learned a ton about the city that she loves. We had a private tour of the trap museum on a day that it was closed. His suggestions on what to do for the rest of our trip have been invaluable.

There are not enough stars or words I can give to express how incredible and unforgettable this tour was. Ryan had us laughing, sharing stories, listening to the most carefully curated hip-hop playlist, and even crying at certain tour stops. Bottom line - this is the absolute best way to spend a day in Atlanta. It was the most in-depth, personal tour I have ever taken and I have traveled to almost all 50 states. You get to see sites that tourists would never know how to get to and that most tour guides wouldn't know the story behind. From beginning to end, we felt like we were cruising through the city with an old friend. For hip-hop lovers, this tour ALONE makes Atlanta a must-visit city. The history is deep, the culture is beautiful, and Ryan is the absolute best because he and his wife have put their hearts and souls into this company and the passion is evident. I will be talking about this tour for the rest of my life.

If you want to know some of the best hip hop history of Atlanta, the Atlanta Hip Hop tour is definitely something you will want to consider. My husband and I spent our 3rd Anniversary in Atlanta and decided to book this tour on our day of arrival while awaiting our AirBNB checkin. It was my first time in Atlanta, while my husband attended Morehouse back in the early 90's. This tour was our favorite part of our entire trip. The tour guide Ryan and his wife were extremely knowledgeable about Atlanta's history and were also very enjoyable and pleasant to be around. If you are visiting Atlanta and want a overview of the city, this tour is a must do!

This is an incredible tour by a husband & wife team! - Booking, 5 Stars - PickUp/Drop Off, 5 STARS + A HUG So happy I came across this tour package while planning my solo trip to Atlanta this past weekend. I will say admittedly I was wondering where/what we are going to do for 5 hours initially. From city history to hip hop, they covered it ALL. The play list was also GREAT! The snacks and beverages were very appreciated and complimentary. Lunch at CNN (personally responsible for costs for lunch) was right on time too - its SO MANY OPTIONS in there even on a Sunday. The BEST PART - was the tour of the 'Dungeon Family Home' which this dynamic duo JUST CLOSED ON and we were the first group to enter before they begin renovations. As a music fan - THIS WAS EPIC! We hit Headland and Delowe, saw the "bank" from Den of Thieves and so much more. If you are in ATL, even if you live there it won't be a disappointment to check them out. JUST DO IT I am so excited to see how they evolve and love supporting minority owned business anywhere I go - you should to...

The Hip Hop tour was Awesome!!Ryan was very entertaining and knowledgeable throughout the entire tour. We had a blast!! I highly recommend this tour.

Without a doubt, this has been the best tour we have taken! The tour was so personable and rich with culture! We felt as if we were exploring the city with a family member! From the different historic spots, facilities that shaped our music culture, to experiencing the escape the Trap House. All of this with the sounds of Atlanta playing in the background! It was the perfect experience for my birthday!! Don't hesitate and book this tour NOW! It's a must do when visiting Atlanta!!

Omg Mr. Ryan is da bomb!!!! This tour was soooooo amazing. We had the most adventurous day. He is very knowledgeable about his town, I learned lots of interesting facts not only about Atlanta but about my African ancestors. Thank you my friend for being a student of "Us"! Took a last minute road trip with my son through Nashville, ATL and Charleston to experience the food, culture and history of all these areas. When we got to ATL we searched the internet and were drawn to the Hip Hop Tours because of ATL's deep roots with Hip Hop and it was a hell of a lot better then injurying ourselves on a Segway. I called there number and initially got the voicemail and I hung up. I immediately got a call back from a friendly voice and I asked about their tours. Ryan (one of the owners along with his wife) told me the only do tours on the weekends and when I asked if they did private tours Ryan said he had been thinking about getting into that and asked if he could call me back. He did and before you know it we had a private tour set up for the following day. The service was already absolutely amazing which made us even more excited for the trip. Ryan arrived at the hotel on time and was enthusiastic, fun and professional throughout the whole trip. Since this was the first time doing a private tour he added many personal touches which made us truly feel like Atliens. The day was crazy from the hip hop knowledge and showing us the actual studios and hoods of all the famous ATL rappers to the most amazing part which was bring us to The Dungeon which was the home in which Outcast recorded the first album and TLC wrote and recorded Waterfalls. It was unreal. Ryan lived in ATL his entire life and you could see that he loved the city and his business. He knew so much more about ATL than just Hip Hop and educated us on the civil rights movement in ATL (actually showed us where MLK lived (not a well known location) before he died and we saw his daughter in the driveway) and pretty much knew everything there was to know about the city in general. We even toured the nicest neighborhood of ATL where he pointed out all the homes of the mega rich and famous (secrets he learned from a pool cleaner in the area). He brought us to the Icebox to see where the famous rappers bought their jewelry and also to a couple cool kicks stores and a fantastic restaurant for soul food. I would highly recommend hanging with Ryan any day for a private or non private tour!

ATLANTA (December 14, 2022) – Touted as “the most epic and highly anticipated hip-hop tour of the decade”, We Are Live Entertainment presents the “Legendz of the Streetz” Tour: Reloaded Edition at the award-winning State Farm Arena in Atlanta for one night only on Sunday, March 5, 2023.

The highly successful brand and must-see tour will include an interchanging ensemble of some of the most iconic names in hip-hop including Jeezy, Rick Ross, T.I., Gucci Mane, 2Chainz, Jadakiss, Ja Rule, Cam’ron, Trina and many more. Tickets for the show go on sale this Friday, December 16th and range from $65 to $320 and can be purchased on Ticketmaster.com .

Martin Luther King Museum (although they were closed ), we visited the Outkast mural which was really dope and even has some amazing food options at Ponce City market. Alex was my tour guide today on a journey of an amazing look at the history and overall view of the ATL. Alex was extremely knowledgeable about the development of what the ATL was then and now. I learned the history of Auburn Street, as well as all things MLK, and Madame CJ Walker and her contributions. Ken Carson announces dates for Chaos World Tour

Over the past year, Ken Carson has become one of the hottest rising artists in the industry. In 2023, the Atlanta native released his third studio album, “ A Great Chao s.” 18 songs were included, as well as collaborations with Destroy Lonely and Lil Uzi Vert . As a result, The Great Chaos went on to see a number 11 debut in the US, on the Billboard 200 chart. This is a massive jump from his 2022 sophomore album, “ X, ” which debuted at 115. Moreover, Carson has also been signed with Interscope Records, since 2022.

Meanwhile, Ken Carson has also just announced a new headlining tour. This is The Chaos World Tour, which is set to begin in juju.

Therefore, Ken’s Chaos World Tour will kick off on July 8, in Orlando. 43 dates will be available in total, as it will go on to conclude on October 5, in Prague, CZ.

Earlier this month, Ken Carson also went on to release his first single of 2024. This was “ Overseas ,” which has since been buzzing on social media, as well.

Q: What will we be doing for 3 hours?

A: Cruising through the city listening to authentic Atlanta hip-hop (old school and new school) while checking out the areas that raised key contributors to the culture and becoming knowledgeable on what made Atlanta what it is today. There’s a lot to see here and we want to show you as much as we can in the time we have together.   

Q: Where do we meet?

A: The Colony Square building 1197 Peachtree Street NE Atlanta,                        Ga 30361 right outside of FIVE CHURCH.

Q: Where should I park? 

A: There is $15 paid parking one block from the pickup location at the corner of 12th street and PeachtreeStreet directly across from the Oceanaire restaurant. There is also parking at the Colony Square building. Parking there is generally between $20-$22.

Q: Is this tour wheelchair accessible?

A: At this present time we cannot accommodate wheelchairs, but the bus is accessible for those with limited mobility if they are assisted by a companion.

Q: Will there be a lot of walking?

A:  We walk for about 15 minutes at the MLK memorial site. There may also be a few stops for photo ops that will require very little walking. You are welcome to stay on the bus if you have trouble walking.

Q: What will happen if it rains?

A: Hip Hop Tours Of Atlanta runs rain or shine. We only cancel tours for extreme weather conditions. We do suggest you bring an umbrella on rainy days. 

Q: What methods of transportation are used?

A: We use a large suv for tours of 5 & an in 15 passenger sprinter with large windows and plenty of space.

Q: Is this tour kid friendly? 

A : Yes . All children under the age of 17 must be accompanied by an adult.

Q: Should we expect additional expenses?

A: All of our stops are free 

Q: Are tips included?

A: Tips are not included but are definitely welcomed.

Q: How do I get a refund ?

A:  Deposit and complete bookings are non - refundable.
