Everything you need to know:

• Are there any age restrictions? You must be aged 18 or over to drive a Jet Ski by yourself. However, anyone over the age of 8 can ride as a passenger. As they are accompanied by an adult, they can also drive the Jet Ski.
• How long will my tour last? Each tour lasts 90 minutes. This includes briefing and time to get ready. We guarantee a total of 60-70 minutes on the water.
• Where do we go on the Jet Skis? Our Poole location takes you on a tour around the famous world heritage site which is ‘Old Harry Rocks’ on the Jurassic Coast. Your tour sets off from Baiter Park which is positioned just a 20-minute drive from the popular Bournemouth beach – a real hotspot. Bournemouth beach has been ranked amongst the best 25 beaches in the world, according to Tripadvisor’s 2021 Travellers Choice awards. Book today and come and see for yourself.
• What should I wear? We provide wetsuits and buoyancy aids on arrival. All you'll need to bring is swimwear and a towel to keep warm. We recommend arriving in swimwear before hand.
• Do I need previous jet ski experience? Not at all! In fact, the majority of our customers are first-timers. We offer full training and will provide you with a safety briefing which completely covers how to use the controls and ride a Jet Ski safely. Don't worry, you're in safe hands.
• Is there parking on site? Yes - for a small fee we have parking situated a short distance from where we operate from.
• How many people can go on a session? At South Coast Jet Ski, we follow the RYA guidelines for hire-ski to instructor ratio, which is 3:1. This means that we are able to accommodate up to six riders per standard session. We do run sessions with larger groups of up to 12 people as we have another fleet of Skis. Please call us to find out more.
• Do I need a license or previous experience to hire a Jet Ski? No! You will always be accompanied by a fully qualified PWC instructor when on the tour. You don't need a license or previous Jet Ski experience.
• Do I need a reservation? Yes. Due to the high demand, you will need to book your tour in advance. This can be done via the booking page on our website.
• Can I bring my phone with me to take pictures? Of course! Each Ski has a shockproof compartment to store your phone. It is requested that you do not attempt to use your phone while operating the Ski, and riders are reminded that bringing personal belongings on the water is done so at their own risk. There will also be a photo opportunity, where the instructor will offer to take pictures on their own device and send them to you should you wish.
• Do I need to be able to speak English? Yes. You will need to be able to speak and understand English so you can understand how to ride the Jet Ski safely, conforming to our guidelines.
• What is your policy on cancellations and refunds? In the event of bad weather including floods, storms, heavy seas state, strong winds or unforeseen circumstances, South Coast Jet Ski have the right to terminate sessions and will offer another date, voucher or refund. A cancellation made by the client must be notified to us 48 hours prior to the tour and a full refund will be permitted.
• Is there a safe place to leave my personal belongings whilst on a tour? Yes, if required your belongings may be left in the our hut. which will remain locked during the session. South Coast Jet Ski are not responsible for any items which may be lost or damaged.
• Can the rider and passenger take turns driving? Yes, there will be plenty of opportunities for riders to change positions. The instructor will advise on when, and how to do this.
• Is there a maximum weight capacity per ski? Yes, there is a maximum weight capacity of 272kg per Ski.

 EXPLORE the STUNNING DORSET coast

Our Poole tour sets off from Baiter Park. You get towed out to the open waters where you will then get to take control of the jet ski. You will pass Brownsea land (the largest island in Poole Harbour and a National Trust Site due to its vast wildlife), Sandbanks, Studland Bay and the famous world heritage site, Old Harry rocks. You will get the opportunity to take photos to make your memories permanent before we loop around and head back to Poole Harbour.

South Coast Jet Ski

South Coast Jet Ski hire has locations in Southampton and Poole, Dorset.

In Southampton, you’ll leave from the world-class Ocean Village marina, a perfect spot to relax and grab a drink or bite to eat on your return. Located right on the edge of Southampton Water, you’ll have views of The Solent and the Isle of Wight before you know it!

Prices vary for peak and off-peak, however with this guided tour, you do not need a licence or previous experience. To be able to drive, you’ll need to be 18 years and older. For passengers, there is a minimum age of 8 years old.

Guided tours last about 90 minutes, with 60/70 minutes on the water. Wetsuits and safety gear are provided, along with demonstrations on their Sea-Doo jet skis on how to operate. A full safety briefing will also be given before your jet ski hire experience begins.

Jet ski hire in Southampton doesn’t get much better than with Let’s Go Jet Ski. Well located at Ocean Quay Marina, it’s the perfect place to start your jet ski experience along the River Itchen, before heading out to the open water.

No licence or experience is needed.

Sessions last 2 hours, with about 90 minutes out on the water. They provide all the safety gear and wetsuits if you want one. You’ll be taken through a demonstration on how to use one of their Sea-Doo jet skis and a safety briefing before venturing out on your guided safari tour. There will be plenty of opportunities to stop and take in the views.

The minimum age to drive a jet ski is 18 years old. Passengers must be 8 years and older to ride. You can ride solo or double, with up to two adults.

Jet Ski Safari

6 of us booked the Jet Ski Safari, 2 of us already RYA trained and the rest compotent skiers. Changing facilities was a toilet block underneath some office/apartement(not a problem they were clean and we were only getting or wetsuits on) It was a massive disapointment though to find out we would be on the learner key all,which restricts the BHP and enjoyment of these Seadoo skis, advertised as 155BHP on the website. When I asked about this I was told it was due to Insurance issues, which I've no problem with, but I wish this was made clear when booking.Weather was ok, nice and sunny on the way out and windy,rainy and very choppy in the afternoon which would have been fun if these ski's were not on the learner key, its bad enough on the flat with restricted power never mind battling against waves and wind. One of the skis broke down, the battery blew up,which apparently has happened before, so only 2 skis were available to the 6 of us, the broken ski was strapped to the powerboat and we limped back to base very slowly and that was the end of the day. Luckily this did happen at the end of the day, we were all pretty much fed up by dinner anyway. Those of us who didnt have their own wetsuits handed them back in and we were then left to get changed on the pavement outside the marina, no one walked up to let us into the 'toilet block' and no offer of a shower anywhere. All in all this was a massive anti climax for us all, partly to blame for not asking about the learner key and wont make the same mistake again.

Thanks for the review and I am very sorry one of our jet skis let us both down. Could I just clarify the issue with the learning key, firstly it is a programmable key that we have simply turn the acceleration of the jet ski down a little, not the top speed. If you would have had the full power key you would have used your fuel within 2 hours and this was a full day experience for just £99. With regard to the key code for the changing rooms, if you could not remember it when you came to change at the end of the day why did you not walk the 400 yards back to the instructor and ask ? Please remember that you did not book a full jet ski safari that includes double the fuel, but double the price.

Tried the jet ski safari with 2 friends, can honestly say that it was an awesome day out, super fast on the flat estuary and then leaping out of the water on waves in the solent. If think i drank half the solent but such a good day out friendly guide etc. Definitely book with these guys.

By husband, son and I did is course in November this year. It wa excellent. The boat, equipment and teaching were all first class. We will be back to do furthe courses.

The two days on the powerboat level 2 course were very enjoyable and the staff excellent. Any beginner can go on this course and feel confident in doing this course. A great 2 days out on the solent and to top it all off we had the weather on our side. Highly recommended.

One-day First Aid course - excellent. This was my first time, all other students were updating existing First Aid qualification. Instructor went at a speed I could keep up with but without boring everyone else. Lively, memorable and good touches of humour. Also very practical in adapting first aid procedures to conditions of a boat at sea. The admin and contact by Solent Charters ahead of the course were completely efficient.

My son and I both took our RYA Powerboat 2 Qualification with Solent earlier this year.First rate facilities,great staff and professional tuition.We are booked to return this year to take our Day Skipper Licence and are looking forward to working with Matt and his team again.

The Southampton Jetski Club gives you regular access to jetskis, without the expense or hassle of owning, storing, transporting, insuring and servicing one yourself.

Based in Saxon Wharf Marina, Southampton, our club members have quick and easy access to the Solent.

How does it work?

The club operates all year round and is open to anyone who has their PWC Proficiency Certificate .

Once you have joined the club, you will be entitled to book 2 peak and 4 off peak session per month, with the option to purchase additional sessions on top. Each session is 3.5hrs long and run from 08:30-12:00 and 13:00-16:30. Additionally, if you pay up front you also gain one evening (17:00-20:00) session per month.

Each member has a login to our online booking system, which allows you to book your sessions.

How Much Does It Cost?

There is no joining fee, but memberships are subject to a £2000 security deposit*.

• 3 Month Membership - £650 +fuel used
• 6 Month Membership - £1100 (or £200 per month) +fuel used
• 12 Month Membership - £2000 (or £200 per month) +fuel used

Additional sessions can be purchased for £50 each +fuel used.

Each member has a login to our online booking system, this allows you to book your sessions per month.

Each member gets 6 half day sessions per month, 4 off peak and 2 peak. Additionally, if you pay up front you also gain one evening (1700-2000) session per month.

Additional sessions can be purchased for £50 each.

There are no joining fee all you need is the RYA PWC proficiency course and a £2000 security deposit, which is pre-authorised against your card.

You can choose from a 3, 6 or 12 month membership.

Yes they can as long as you have booked the ski and its back for our next session.

Off peak is any mid-week session, peak sessions are weekend sessions.

Sessions are 08:30 – 12:00 and 13:00-16:30.

Evening sessions (summer months only) are 17:00-20:00.

The skis are fully insured however you are responsible for the first £2000 of any incident. Please note that weed, stones or plastic in the impellor, are not covered under the insurance policy.

The team will refuel the jetski after your session and then bill you for the fuel you have used. It is usually somewhere in the region of £30-£40 per session max, but it does depend on what you do with the ski and how many miles you cover during your session.

Payment will be set up with an automated card payment. 

How does Ocean Sports Jetski Club in Southampton work?       

To participate as a member of our Southampton Jetski Club, each member has a login to our online jetski rental booking system, which allows you to book your jetski experience sessions every month.

Here at Gower Jetski Safaris, our story is a simple one.

We have been in the Watersports industry for over 15 years. We initially started with a Powerboat School, Swansea Watersports. We have been instructing people how to use them safely for over 10 years. This is something we passionate about and we are still excelling at today.

We were then asked if we would be interested in another venue at Oxwich. We explored the idea and set up Oxwich Watersports. We have been set up in Oxwich for a number of years and are now hiring out equipment in the picturesque Oxwich Bay. It is while we were based here, that we ad so many enquiries for Jetski’s that we thought we would dip our toe in the water. Within a few months,  it was clear that it would work and the rest, as they say, is history.

We are looking at expanding our equipment and expanding our trip area. We look forward to sharing the rest of our journey with you, as it develops.

JET SKI SUNSET SAFARI - AVAILABLE FROM APRIL TO SEPTEMBER

Our Jet Ski Sunset Safari is a special tour that offers guests an exciting and fun way to capture a Bermuda evening sunset from the water. Experience the thrill of driving your own jet ski as your guide leads you across the crystal clear waters stopping at various points of interest including a shipwreck, the sea turtle grounds and more. Then the tour will stop for approximately 20 minutes at one of our secret hideaways which is perfect for guests to take pictures, swim, or relax while taking in the many colors of the sun setting on the horizon. Enjoy this fun, once in a lifetime unique sunset experience by water! This tour is also a great option for persons who work all day and want to get out on the water after work for some fun and adventure.

REGULATIONS

• Participants must be at least 16 years of age (by law) to operate/drive a Jet Ski in Bermuda. Any age 4 years and older to be a passenger. (Picture ID is required for all Jet Ski drivers 16yrs and older)
• Each double person Jet Ski must not exceed the combined maximum weight limit of 375lbs.
• Maximum weight limit per person must not exceed 300lbs. (For safety reasons)
• Our Jet Ski Adventures are not recommended for persons with limited mobility, who are pregnant or who have had any serious medical/heart related conditions or operations recently. (See our FAQ section for more details)
• If you are unable to pull yourself back up onto a jet ski in a deep water boarding situation, then this activity is not recommended for you.
• Any cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance of your scheduled Jet Ski tour time. Otherwise you will be charged the full price of your tour. (You must call and speak with a K.S. WaterSports representative to cancel a Jet Ski reservation. We can also move a reservation for you to another day or time as long as this request is done prior to the 24 hour advance notice period)
• MANDATORY : MUST BRING 1 Valid Government Issued Photo I.D. that includes date of birth per guest (ages 16yrs and older)
• The Operator on each Jet Ski must have a basic understanding of the English Language (No translating permitted)

* Guests will not be permitted to drive a jet ski if they do not have a valid Photo I.D. present at the time of check in. This will be asked and checked for all jet ski drivers)

• Please note that a safety lanyard (key) is attached to the Jet Ski driver at all times
• Two and three guests are allowed per Jet Ski but cannot exceed a total combined weight of 375 lbs. For any triple person jet skis, we accept 1 adult and 2 small children only, plus the driver must have previous jet ski experience)

GUESTS CANNOT PARTICIPATE IF THEY

• Operator of Jet Ski does not have a basic understanding of the English Language. (All Drivers must understand and speak English fluently to participate on these tours. No translating)
• Are 16 years or older and do not have a valid photo ID with D.O.B. (Must be 16yrs or older by law to drive a jet ski. Passengers must be 4yrs or older)
• Are under the influence of drugs or alcohol. (If you are seen with alcohol in your possession or our staff detect an alcohol smell upon check in, you will be denied the right to participate). Don’t risk your safety & of others.
• Are pregnant or have any existing medical conditions that put them and others at risk.
• Are not prepared to drive their jet ski at minimum safe speeds of 35mph or faster. (Jet ski tours are high-speed guided tours & can travel up to 50mph, with some slow down areas & stops on the way)
• Weigh 300lbs or more. (Double person jet skis cannot exceed 375lbs combined weight). (Snorkel & Cliff Jump tours cannot exceed 250lbs per person)
• Do not know how to swim or do not feel comfortable swimming or being in the ocean. (Depending on Drivers experience and sea conditions, guests can fall off into the water unexpectedly while driving or sitting on a jet ski. Persons 60 years and older should avoid Jet Skiing if not in strong good health!)
• Have limited mobility issues or disabilities. (All Jet Ski Drivers and Passengers must be in good physical health with no mobility issues or disabilities)
• These high-speed jet ski tours are not recommended for persons 60yrs or older.
• Jet Skis are meant to be driven fairly fast and at minimum safe speeds of around 35+ mph. These speeds ensure that your Jet Ski is stable in the water at all times and turns and drives smoothly and correctly when applying throttle/acceleration. If you have any doubt that you can drive a Jet Ski at these minimum safe speeds, then it is highly recommended that you go as a passenger and let another person in your party drive, so you will feel more comfortable while out on tour.
• If you’re new to Jet Skiing or haven’t Jet Skied in a long time, don’t worry, we give all our participants a detailed orientation prior to their tour, and will show you how to operate your watercraft along with all the safety things you should know. (Our tour guides are also there to assist you and help all participants who are having driving difficulties. They will assess what you are doing wrong and give you tips and advice to get you up and running in no time, and take you from a beginner or novice user to feeling like an expert by the end of your tour!)
• Jet Skis are easier to drive and get up to speeds as a single user (meaning with no passengers). All double person Jet Skis must not exceed a combined maximum weight limit of 375lbs. If going as a triple person Jet Ski, we only permit (1 adult and two small children), and the driver should have prior Jet Ski experience. Please keep in mind that the combined maximum weight limit for a triple is also 375lbs per Jet Ski.
• Tours and routes may vary depending on weather and sea conditions.

Even though all our 4 Stroke Yamaha VX & Seadoo GTI Jet Ski’s are three seater models and are very stable with passengers, Jet Ski’s are normally more fun and easier to control especially for beginners and non-experienced users when driving as a Single, meaning with no passengers.

ADVENTURE TIME!

Join us on this amazing Jet Ski Sunset Tour around the central and western harbors and coastlines of Bermuda. This high-speed guided adventure is 90 minutes long and is suitable for persons of all ages and skill levels. This tour departs from the Hamilton Princess Marina or Southampton Waterlot Inn Marina.

Leaving the pier we head through the Little Sound and Great Sound Harbors as we make our way towards Somerset Bridge (the world’s smallest drawbridge), and into Ely’s harbor. Ely’s harbor has many beautiful sites and things to see, and sometimes you can even see sea turtles, herons, and Bermuda longtails flying above.

From there it’s off to find sunken treasure, Arrh! Actually it’s the HMS Vixen, one of many shipwrecks found in Bermuda’s local waters, and sorry there is no treasure left unfortunately. This shipwreck is located just off of Daniel’s Head and is home to many types of marine life and coral species. Watch as hundreds of fish swim up to the Jet Ski’s whenever we arrive, a truly amazing site to see. We even take a few more minutes here to feed the fish too. Here we will also explain all the wonderful sites you have just seen and answer any questions you may have. Our tour guides are very knowledgeable and have many years experience on Bermuda’s local waters.

From here it’s time to get ready to set your sights towards the horizon. Sit back, relax, swim or take pictures as you witness a truly spectacular orange and pink colored Bermuda sunset! Bermuda is known to have some of the brightest sunsets and colorful sky’s in the world, and you will get a clear unobstructive view of this amazing natural wonder.

Once the sun disappears on the horizon, it’s time to throttle up and explore more of Bermuda’s amazing coastline. Skim past the gorgeous Sea Gardens, 9 Beaches, Cambridge beaches, Watford Bridge and all the way towards Gray’s Bridge. This bridge is a small connecting bridge that allows passage to and from the Great Sound Harbour. Once in the Great Sound Harbor enjoy a fast fun blast all the way back to the Pier/Marina.

This Jet Ski Sunset Safari covers the Harbors and its surrounding islands, the entire central and western parts of the island, plus is packed with a whole lot of fun and adventure. Perfect for families, couples or the solo rider who seeks fun & adventure and wants to experience a Bermuda sunset.

Our Hamilton Watersports facility is only steps away from our Capital, and provides guests staying in/near the City of Hamilton or at the Hamilton Princess Hotel & Beach Club with a convenient water sports location that provides amazing adventure tours, excursions and rentals for all to enjoy.

Just a ten minute walk to our Hamilton location from the Hamilton Ferry Terminal.

Hotel guests and locals have many options to and from our locations, Taxi, Bus, Car, Moped, Rental Car, Auxiliary Cycle with plenty of parking available, and the Sea Express Fast Ferry which lets you off in Hamilton near our K.S. WaterSports Hamilton facility.

Should we make reservations in advance.

Yes, most definitely. Jet Ski Tours, Parasailing, Snorkeling, Boat Rentals, Kayak Tours, Bike Tours, and Boat Charters are very popular, and during the peak summer months we have many visitors who seek fun and adventure on their vacation.

You should secure your reservation in advance to avoid disappointment.

You can book online your excursion, activity, tour or rental on our website 24/7, or call our reservations number at (441) 232-4155 between the hours of 8:30am to 6pm daily.

Our Dockyard Location reservations are handled by Island Tour Centre, who are only Dockyard Sales booking agents for K.S. WaterSports tours and rentals departing from the Royal Naval Dockyard location only.

Our K.S. WaterSports Hamilton, Southampton and St. George’s location reservations are handled by K.S. WaterSports directly.

Phone reservations:  When making a reservation by phone, make sure you specify which location and activity, rental or tour name you would like to book. Very Important!

Why when I call the K.S. WaterSports Dockyard reservation number I get a representative from Island Tour Centre answering the call? Are you the same company?

This booking partnership was designed to give our guests an easier and simpler way to walk in and book their excursions, tours and rentals which depart from our Dockyard Cruise Port Location.

Our Hamilton, Southampton and St. George’s location activities, tours, rentals and boat charters are handled by K.S. WaterSports directly by calling (441)-232-4155.

If we have a tour or rental booked already at one of your locations, how soon should we show up before our scheduled tour or rental time?

You must show up at least a half an hour before your scheduled tour or rental time, unless otherwise stated on your reservation confirmation ticket / receipt! This is very important so plan accordingly and make sure you give yourselves plenty of time to get to our locations early. No refunds will be given to persons who are late, missed their tour or didn’t show up. Also please make sure you show up to the correct location for your tour or rental! See our locations page for information on how to get to any of our 4 locations, and please double check your confirmation email for details and check in times.

Boat Rental guests must ensure that they arrive 30 minutes before their rental time as this will guarantee that a K.S. WaterSports representative will be there on site to give you and your group their orientation prior to your boat rental departure. (If you’re group is running late then we will still require the driver of the rental boat to be at our facility 30 minutes prior to their scheduled departure time, to receive their boat orientation and instructions on boat safety and boat operation).  Very Important!

Do you have a cancellation policy?

Yes we do. Most tours, excursions and rentals require 24 hours or 48 hours advance notice before your tour or rental departure time, unless stated otherwise on your reservation confirmation ticket/receipt. Please check your reservation confirmation ticket / email for details.

You must speak to a representative of K.S. WaterSports or Island Tour Centre to cancel your booking, not a message left on our answering machine or an email. Please make sure you call the correct K.S. WaterSports branch where you made the reservation with. No refunds will be given for any persons who missed their tour or rental time or did not show. A full refund will be issued if a tour or rental is cancelled prior to the cancellation period.

Please note that all our K.S. WaterSports boat rentals have a 48hr cancellation policy requirement (excluding holidays).

Boat Rental Public Holidays & Long Holiday Weekends: We require 7 days advance notice to cancel a rental boat reservation on a Public Holiday or Long Holiday Weekend.

Do you need ID (Identification) to partake on any of the tours or rentals?

Identification is only necessary for persons 21 years or under who are driving a Jet Ski on one of our Jet Ski Adventure tours or for persons 21 years or under who are renting any of our boat rentals, kayaks, SUP’s or equipment.

The legal minimum driving age on a Jet Ski Tour is 16 years old, but ID must be shown for all drivers 21 years old or younger. ID is not required for Parasailing, Jet Ski passengers, or Jet Ski Drivers 22 years or older.

Picture ID, Passport, or Drivers Licence are acceptable forms for identification. A printed passport scan of ID page & picture is also an acceptable form of ID

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept MasterCard, VISA, and American Express.

To secure an Activity, Rental, Excursion, Tour or Boat Charter time slot in advance, you must pay up front in full with a credit card at the time of making the reservation.

For all our Boat Rentals, Pontoon Rentals, Kayaks and Paddle Board Rentals, these activities must be secured with a credit card along with the damage deposit.

What Experience do you need to participate in your tours?

No experience is required to participate on our regular Jet Ski Adventure Tours, Kayak Tours, Parasailing Adventures, Sunset Tours, Fantasea Tours, and most Snorkeling Tours. Beginners are welcomed. Instructions and Orientation will be provided to all participants before departing for a tour or on a rental. Please check the individual tour or rental requirements to ensure that you and your group meet the tour, rental or charter requirements, prior to making a reservation. No refunds will be given should you or members in your booking party show up for an activity, tour or rental and do not meet the experience level or tour / rental safety requirements.

Are there any age restrictions for your tours and rentals?

Some of our tours and rentals do have age restrictions: Jet Ski Tours – No children under 4 years old permitted / Must be 16yrs or older to drive a jet ski (by law) in Bermuda Parasailing – 5 years or older Whale Watching Tours – 5 years or older Boat Rentals – No infants or children under 1 years old permitted onboard. All boat renters/drivers must be 18 years or older to rent or drive. Snorkeling – No children under 5 or 7 years old, depending on which snorkeling tour type you choose. Boat Charters – Varies depending on Charter vessel / type chosen. See Boat Charter Page for details.

Kayak Tours – 5 years or older

Bike Tours – 10 years or older

Do you have lockable storage at your facilities to put our belongings in?

Yes we do have dry lockable storage at all four(4) of our water sports facilities (in Dockyard, Southampton, Hamilton and St. George’s). Space is limited so please bring the fewest amount of belongings with you. No big bags, backpacks, coolers, or large items please.

What happens if the weather is bad?

If the weather is bad and the manager, tour operator or captain sees it unfit to go out in, you will be refunded in full, or re-scheduled on a different day or time slot if desired.  Only a K.S. WaterSports employee can confirm a cancellation or cancel a tour or rental due to weather and within the 24hr or 48hr cancellation period . If a person does not show up for their scheduled tour time or rental time and the tour or rental can or does go out, then there will be no refund given to the persons or group that did not show. In Bermuda it can be raining one second and twenty minutes later the sun can be out shining, so make sure you show up at our location on time and are ready to go in case the tour or rental does go out. (For boat rentals, pontoon rentals, kayaks & paddle board rentals – it is recommended to call us 1.5 to 2 hours before your scheduled rental time if the weather is looking bad. We will assess the weather and sea conditions at that time to determine if it is safe and still good to let our boat rental customers go out in)

Our Cruise Ship docks at Kings Wharf or Heritage Wharf but we have a Jet Ski Adventure booked already departing from St. George’s. How do we get to your St. George’s location?

If you have a Jet Ski Adventure reservation booked already which departs from our St. George’s location, then walk over to the Sea Express Ferry Terminal in Dockyard and take it to St. George’s which normally takes around twenty minutes to get there once onboard the Fast Ferry. When you arrive in St. George’s just walk over to K.S. WaterSports which is located at the White Horse Pub & Restaurant. Please make sure you view the correct Ferry schedule times for that day and give yourselves plenty of time to get to our location at least a half an hour before your scheduled tour time. Alternatively you could use other methods of transportation like buses, taxies, mopeds, or mini buses if staying at hotels or guest houses.

Our Cruise Ship docks at Penno’s Wharf or Ordnance Cruise Ship terminal in St. George’s, but we have a Jet Ski Adventure, Parasailing Adventure or WildCat Adventure departing from your Dockyard location. How do we get to your Dockyard Location?

If you have a Jet Ski Adventure, Parasailing Adventure or WildCat Adventure booked already which departs from our Dockyard location, then walk over to the Sea Express Ferry Terminal in St. George’s and take it to Dockyard which normally takes around twenty minutes to get there once onboard the Fast Ferry. When you arrive in Dockyard just walk over to K.S. WaterSports which is located at the “Dockyard Watersports Centre” which is right next to the Dockyard Ferry Terminal and across the street from the Bonefish Bar & Grill. Please make sure you view the correct Ferry schedule times for that day and give yourselves plenty of time to get to our location at least a half an hour before your scheduled tour time. Alternatively you could use other methods of transportation like buses, taxies, mopeds, or mini buses if staying at hotels or guest houses on the island.

Our Cruise Ship docks at the Hamilton Cruise Ship terminal, but we have a Jet Ski Adventure, Parasailing Adventure, or WildCat Adventure departing from your Dockyard or St. George’s location. How do we get to either Location from Hamilton?

If you have a Jet Ski Adventure, Parasailing Adventure or WildCat Adventure booked already which departs from our Dockyard or St. George’s location, then walk over to the Sea Express Ferry Terminal in Hamilton and take the Fast Ferry to Dockyard or St. George’s. When you arrive in Dockyard or St. George’s just walk over to K.S. WaterSports which is located at the “Dockyard Watersports Centre” in Dockyard, or at the White Horse Pub & Restaurant in St. George’s.

Please be advised that Parasailing and WildCat Adventures operate from our Dockyard location only at this time. Jet Ski Adventures are available from all three of our locations – Dockyard, Hamilton and St. George’s.

Please make sure you view the correct Ferry schedule times  here  for that day and give yourselves plenty of time to get to our location at least a half an hour before your scheduled tour time. Also make sure you take the Fast Ferry to the correct K.S. WaterSports branch where your scheduled tour departs from.

Terms and Conditions

Important Information: 

Prices are per jetski, with a maximum of 2 passengers per jetski. Weight per jetski must not exceed 200kgs. The minimum passenger age on the jetski is 8, while the minimum driver age is 16. A minimum of 2 jetski bookings are required for tour to go ahead. 

Your Responsibilities:

Please advise us before booking if any passengers are under 18 years old to ensure this is the appropriate trip. 

You must reconfirm all booked tours prior to travel as specified on your voucher. If applicable, notes such as dietary requirements, pick-up locations and additional fees should also be confirmed at this time. Reconfirmations cannot be actioned through Sailing Whitsundays/Mr Travel, and must be done so directly through the Service Operator as specified on each ticket.

It is your responsibility to notify us of ticket discrepancies. Please read through the details on your voucher thoroughly to ensure all details such as passenger names, ages and dates of travel on vouchers are correct.

It is the responsibility of all passengers travelling to advise both your travel agent at the time of booking and vessel check-in agent before boarding of any medical conditions including food allergies you may suffer from.

You need to allow adequate time to check-in prior to the specified departure time. 

Prices/Extra Costs:

All prices are stated in Australian dollars and include GST. Surcharges over peak holiday seasons may apply. 

The Service Operator reserves the right to alter prices and extra costs. Extra costs may include EMC fees, Stingersuit/Wetsuit Hire, Luggage Storage, Insurance, Linen Hire, National Park Fees, Fuel Levies, Dietary Fees, etc. Bonds may also apply.

We will also endeavour to communicate these extra costs with you at the time of booking, and on your ticket. However, it is your responsibility to confirm which (if any) additional costs apply with each Service Operator upon reconfirming your trip.

Travel Risk/Insurance:

It should be noted that adventure travel involves risk. Whilst we make every effort to safeguard clients, we cannot be responsible for personal injury or loss due to the actions of our clients which are beyond our control. We highly recommend that all clients have travel insurance covering illness, injury, loss or damage to personal belongings and not being able to travel on the confirmed date of departure. You should also ensure your travel insurance will cover special circumstances including weather events preventing guests from travelling to their tour departure destination and cancelled flights due to unforeseen circumstances.

The Service Operator reserves the right to limit courtesy transfers to select local accommodations. Private residences or Airbnb properties may be asked to meet at the closest confirmed location. Failure to meet at the specified pick-up location may be treated as “No Show”, for which the Client Cancellation Policy applies.

Merchant Fees:

Please be aware operators pass on credit card merchant fees so there is a non-refundable 1% surcharge for VISA and MASTERCARD card purchases.

All ticket/voucher reissues attract a $20 administration fee.

Open Date Vouchers / Gift Certificate:

Shipping Costs are in addition to the ticket price and will be added at check-out. Shipping costs are non-refundable and do not makeup part of the ticket value. 

E-Vouchers incur no shipping fees. You have 5 years to use the value of the voucher. Seasonal Price Rises will apply if travelling out the current seasons pricing. Vouchers can be exchanged for free up to the full value of the voucher excluding credit card fees and charges.

Cancellations

Client Cancellations:

No shows or client cancellations made within 48 hours of departure forfeit 100% of the total ticket price. 

Sailing Whitsundays are required to notify the operator of any cancellations within the specified cancellation period (48 hours). It is your responsibility to make sure you submit your cancellation request with adequate time, and during standard business hours (9am-5pm), to allow us to contact the tour provider.

Transfers between tours can be made at the suppliers discretion, however, it should be noted that supplier fees may apply. Tour transfers also incur a $20 administration fee. 

It is compulsory that all cancellation requests are in writing and sent via email to [email protected]. Cancellations attempted via online chat or phone will not be actioned.

Supplier Cancellations:

The Service Operator reserves the right to alter prices, alter itineraries, apply a fuel surcharge, cancel departures, arrange alternative transport and vary itineraries and services if necessary.

All departures and itineraries are subject to weather. Tours may be changed or cancelled for any reason at the discretion of the Service Operator. If the Service Operator has to cancel the trip or activity (prior to departure) and we cannot offer a suitable alternative, then a refund will be given minus a 20% administration fee and any associated card fees. We strongly recommend that you have travel insurance, especially during the wet season.

In the unlikely event of your trip being cancelled or stood down, all guest communication is required to go through our Online Store via telephone or email. While there is a Sailing Whitsundays retail outlet located Airlie Beach, please be aware that they operate as a separate entity and are unable to access reservations made by the Mr Travel online department.

All refunds are in Australian Dollars and must be made to the card of payment. Sailing Whitsundays/Mr Travel is not liable for exchange rate fluctuations or fees, or any other merchant/bank fees associated with domestic and/or international transactions.

Where a full refund is applicable, there is the option to transfer the whole cost of the tour to another tour or “Credit” to avoid the administration fee. A transfer fee of $20 will apply.

You will be emailed confirmation once the refund has been processed. Once the refund has been processed, it may still take time for the banks to clear the amount. Please allow 7-10 business days for the funds to clear into Australian accounts and up to 21 business days for international accounts.

Accountability/Misconduct:

All Service Operators have the right to provide client feedback and to cancel bookings based off of feedback from other Service Operators.

Sailing Whitsundays/Mr Travel will treat this as any normal client cancellation and therefore the cancellation fees stated in the Client Cancellation Policy will apply.
