Make your way to the meeting point in Kaneohe at your chosen departure time, where you’ll join your guide and the rest of your small group. Then, set out on a thrilling off-road ride through the jungle on board a custom-made open-air safari vehicle. Travel through the rainforest-clad landscapes of the Kualoa, Hakipu’u, and Ka’a’awa Valleys, stopping at several Jurassic Park filming locations along the way.

This Tour is also known as the Jurassic Park Tour – Hawaii’s Best Movie Tour Featuring Film & TV Locations – Jurassic Park, Godzilla, Jurassic World, Pearl Harbor, 50 First Dates, Jumanji II, Hawaii Five-0, Magnum PI and many more movies and TV Shows were filmed on the Kualoa Ranch on Oahu. Experience Ka’a’awa Valley to see where over 50 of Hollywood’s biggest blockbuster movies and TV shows were filmed, including even some of the 1960’s Elvis classics.

Hop aboard a vintage school bus and take a photo of yourself at the infamous Jurassic Park fallen tree, find Godzilla’s footprints, see the Windtalkers battlegrounds and visit several other locations including the famous “penguin” road site from 50 First Dates, the road site from You Me & Dupree, the house structure from Mighty Joe Young, and numerous Hawaii Five-0 and LOST areas! • Vehicle information: Multi-passenger UTV Raptor vehicles that can accommodate 2 to 6 people, depending on how many kids there are in your party. Each party drives its own vehicle, and guests from different parties do not get mixed together.
• Can we switch drivers? A maximum of two (2) drivers can swap out mid-tour.
• Are solo rides available? No. A minimum of 2 participants are required when booking.
• Duration: 2-hour tour time includes training and safety briefing
• Trail conditions: Journey through some of the most breathtaking valleys and remote areas of Kualoa Ranch. Explore dirt roads, challenging dusty trails, and seasonal streams that have become backdrops for iconic movies.
• Age restriction: Minimum driver age is 21 years old. The minimum rider age is 5 years old.

• This is an outdoor adventure activity and operates in all weather conditions.
• What to wear: Closed-toe shoes, and comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty

We had an amazing experience at the ranch One couple in our group had a different time slot than Us and they were able to get us all together ! Which was hands down the best !! We were bummed we weren’t going to ... experience it together . Our guides were super chill and Informative!! THEE BEST TOUR GUIDES . I believe their names were Lee and red ? Don’t quote me on it . Lol The cows along the way were so beautiful The stories of the mountains were beautiful The ride along the dirt was so fun I definitely recommend being the driver !! We didn’t get muddy but we definitely had dirt/dust everywhere!!!!! So maybe no makeup lol

the ranch is breathtaking, and the atv tour although super fast, does give you a great ranch tour!

A must do while on O’ahu!

Being able to drive up into the mountains and learn so much about the history of the mountains and the area was amazing. The added bonus of seeing different movie sites and learning about movies and shows being filmed in ... that area was cool too. I was surprised that we did not stop at all of the sites with movie props. Especially the ones specific to Jurassic park so that was a bit of a disappointment but otherwise it was a great excursion.

What is the best way to get out to the ranch if I don't have a car?

There are a few ways you can get out to Kualoa Ranch if you do not have a car. 1. Book the "With Transportation" package: This tour option includes pick-up and drop-off at major Waikiki hotels, but the departure from Kualoa Ranch is only once a day at 3:15PM. Depending on what time you book your ATV tour, you could be waiting up to four hours before departure. 2. Order a taxi or ride share: Depending on traffic and how busy the service is, a taxi or ride share can cost anywhere from $50 to $100 per vehicle. You should also note that Kualoa Ranch is located in a remote location and there may not be any taxis or ride share vehicles available near by for pick-up. 3. Utilize public transportation: Known as "The Bus," Oahu has an extensive bus system and you can easily get to Kualoa Ranch from Waikiki. Catch the #20, 23 or 42 to Ala Moana Center, and then transfer to the #60 (Kaneohe - Haleiwa) to Kualoa Ranch. Depending on traffic, it can take up to one hour and 30 minutes from Ala Moana Center. The bus is $2.75 for each bus ride ($5.50 one way), and you can either pay with exact change, or with a Holo Card which can be purchased at ABC Stores located throughout Waikiki.

Is there a place to keep belongings while out on a tour?

Yes, you can rent lockers at Kualoa Ranch (additional charge). Please ask the staff upon check-in.

How far away is this activity from Waikiki?

Kualoa Ranch is located approximately 23 miles away from Waikiki, and depending on traffic, it can take up to an hour to drive there.

How far in advance should I book this activity?

We recommend booking at least 2-3 weeks in advance. If you have very specific schedule requirements and are not flexible, please book sooner. Last minute availability is limited, and walk-ins won't always find seats available.

Is this activity kid-friendly?

Children as young as 5 years old may accompany adults (21 & over) as an ATV passenger.

Can I drive my own ATV?

You will drive your own ATV Raptor for the tour, and guests from different parties are not mixed on the same vehicle.

• Hanamāʻulu Bay* – The ancient birthplace of Kawelo, a member of Kauaʻi’s ruling family, the bay has made appearances in productions like Donovan’s Reef, Pagan Love Song, Six Days and Seven Nights and Voodoo Island.
• ʻŌpaekaa Falls Lookout* – A beautiful and accessible waterfall on the island, this is where scenes from Donovan’s Reef, Lt. Robin Crusoe, USN and Seven Women from Hell  were filmed.
• Kapaa Town – A beachside town where Jurassic Park was filmed. There’s something very nostalgic about a Jurassic Park tour.
• ʻAliomanu – This picturesque, isolated beach was a perfect setting for Six Days Seven Nights and Voodoo Island.
• Moloaʻa Beach* – A horseshoe-shaped beach on the northeast shore of Kauaʻi, you may recognize scenes from Gilligan’s Island and Castaway Cowboy.
• Hanalei Pier* – A gathering place for the people of Hanalei seen in Miss Sadie Thompson, Wackiest Ship in the Army, South Pacific , and more.
• Hanalei Valley – A valley of taro patches, one of the most photographed places on the island, and was filmed in Uncommon Valor.

This was such a fantastic tour that we will probably do it again in the future!

Our tour guide was wonderful. She was full of fun-filled facts about the island, Hawaiian culture and of course, told us about all the movies and movie locations. By the end of the tour, we had learned a lot about not only about movie making on Kauaʻi, but a lot about the island itself. This tour is definitely worth doing.

We planned this tour even before leaving the mainland as we expected it to be the highlight of our trip. It was a fun and relaxing way to see Kauaʻi as we watched film clips that were timed to match the arrival at various points of interest. Now that we are home, we are watching the movies again with our new memories!

I was wondering if the Jurassic tour is worth the cost versus the Movie Sites tour for my daughter who loves Jurassic Park. It is $100 more than the Movie sites tour.

I haven't done the movie sites tour but I did the Jurassic tour a few months ago. I loved it.

We did the Movie tour before. It was a pretty good 90-min tour.

Our guide brought a small rubber T-rex dinosaur, and used people's phone/cameras to take pics of the T-rex almost eating up frightened people (us). That was cool.

We didn't do the more expensive Jurassic tour, but it must be move focused on Jurassic movies related stuff.
