Delicious! I ordered the Wagyu melt and garlic pommes fries. The melt had super buttery toasted bread, Wagyu beef, cheddar, grilled onions and Jalapeños. I had the jalapeños on the side in case they were too hot. I tried it with and without the jalapeños.... I am not a spicy fan but it was perfect with the jalapeños, gave it the right mix of flavor. The onions were grilled well without being mushy. The garlic fries had a ton of garlic and butter on them. With all the butter and garlic the fries still were not mush. Enough fries in one order for 2-3 people to share, just ask for more than 3 packets of ketchup which is all I got for this box of fries. I would definitely recommend this place. The staff was friendly and kept the covid distance rules. They smiled at me which seems to be rare in Hawaii for customer service. More

I have had many delicious meals at La Tour Cafe and I’m finally writing a review! La Tour is really like no other restaurant on island. The food is unique and made with quality! On my most recent visit, I indulged in the Nasu Katsu... Wanpaku sandwich (my new fave)!!! The sandwich is huge and stuffed with delicious fried eggplant, pickled veggies, lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, etc. The shokupan bread that the sandwich is served on really helps to make this sandwich great. To go along with the sandwich, the elote fries are a must-get: Seasoned fries topped with charred corn, contija cheese, cilantro, etc. I also really enjoy the Kouign Amann for dessert! It’s a croissant like pastry with a sweet middle. For a drink, I enjoy the mint water or the plantation iced tea. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant if you’re tired of the normal lunch/dinner spots and down to try something different! More

This is my second time eating here. This trip I had the clam chowder and a pineapple macaroni. Chowder was pleasantly different than the regular fare. Lots of clams. The pineapple macaroni was fabulous. Not too sweet and tons of pineapple flavor. Stop by if... going to the movies or after shopping. You won't be disappointed. More

As locals and foodies we are pretty discerning about even a lunch out. This is our #1 choice. LOVE the French Dip sandwich and Meatball Ban Mie. AND they have macaroons. La Tour is known as having the BEST bread on the island.

For starters, this place gets busy right after a movie is finished... So brace yourself during peak hours. I was lucky enough to get my order in 5 minutes before a movie ended and avoided the rush. I tried the pastrami dip sandwich and absolutely... loved it! I might even call it my favorite pastrami sandwich on the island! It does come with au jus dipping sauce, which was a little too salty for me, and a side salad. (You can upgrade your salad to fries if you'd like!) I'd like to point out, for those who don't like their meat to look pinkish in color, that their pastrami looks well done! (On the darker side -- with no pink in sight) Although it looked well done, it wasn't dry. The garlic black pepper mayo is delicious and compliments the house made bread very well! I feel like the dish didn't need the dipping sauce because the flavors are on point. Normally, for a french dip sandwich I would dip the sandwich into the au jus to soften the bread however La Tour's bread is soft and yet holds the sandwich together without getting soggy! I've always loved La Tour's macarons, now I've found another reason to love them... Pastrami!!! Note: Seating inside is limited but there is a long table for a larger party inside. There are more seats outside and the servers will bring the food to you. More

Best thing about this restaurant is it's proximity to the movie theater. While there is a fairly good assortment of foods I found the food to be average at best. The restaurant is very clean.

Husband had the Pho sandwich which was bland and I had the chicken pesto panini. The panini is by far the worst sandwich I have ever had. It was literally pesto smeared on toast. The chips were ok but cold. Portion sizes are small especially... when you just spent $30 for sandwiches. Service was ok not overly friendly atmosphere. We stopped in for a quick bite before a movie. they were fast through and amazing flavors. We had the Pho sandwich and the Thai caesar. both were fantastic. Sat outside which was very comfortable.

We actually got dinner from La Tour twice - once was carry out as we hit the restaurant for closing and the other time, we dined in. It is convenient to Aulani, near Target in Kapolei. It is similar to a Panera (or St. Louis... Bread Co. for us in the Lou). Food was good and the staff was friendly. They even gave us some Kouign Amann on one of our visits. This was a good place to go with the family and save some money eating away from the resort. More

First off I feel I need to mention that La Tour Cafe is a place for foodies. I once took my boss here - a man who likes “plain old fashioned American food - and he absolutely hated it! The concept of a burger made... with wagyu beef, carmelized onions and Gouda cheese was so foreign to him that when it arrived at our table he refused to try a single bite. That wasn’t his fault; I should have known better than to take him to a place like this. The menu is innovative, combining the finest ingredients to create unique and exciting dishes. While they are perhaps most famous for their baked goods (specifically their huge assortment of macaron cookies), their sandwiches and salads are not to be missed. The atmosphere is casual; order at the counter, grab your drinks, find a seat and wait for your meal to be delivered your table. Prices are reasonable for Hawaii. On a recent visit I tried the falafel bahn mi, a flavorful sandwich of falafel, hummus, firecracker sauce, pickled daikon and carrot, cucumber and cilantro. Best $12 sandwich I’ve had in a while! I also love their meatball bahn mi and the French dip. Honestly I’ve never had a bad meal there, but again, don’t take your boss who only eats ‘murican food. I frequent both their flagship Iwilei location on Nimitz Hwy and the Kapolei Commons location, adjacent to the Regal Cinema.The Kapolei location has an open air bar where you can sit and enjoy a drink while waiting for your movie to start. We traveled to Oahu from Oklahoma and came back to La Tour because we loved it our first visit a few years ago. The staff in ... there this evening (6/29/21) were lovely, so friendly and helpful! Our food was yummy. Our kids ordered Mac n Cheese and theyloved it! We had a pastry, I can't remember how to spell it... but it was like a slightly sweet and sticky Cresent that was sogood- after eating it he says "now my life is complete!" La tour makes great bread that you can buy in the store, however, their café serves terrible food. Got a chicken pesto Panini ... sandwich for $12 and it was the saddest looking sandwich I've ever eaten. The bread was really hard and there was hardlyanything in it. It reminds me of premade sandwiches that you get at Starbucks or the gas station. It doesn't even come with aside, chips or a drink... Nothing to give the sad little sandwich some flair. Delicious! I ordered the Wagyu melt and garlic pommes fries. The melt had super buttery toasted bread, Wagyu beef, cheddar, grilled onions and Jalapeños. I had the jalapeños on the side in case they were too hot. I tried it with and without the jalapeños.... I am not a spicy fan but it was perfect with the jalapeños, gave it the right mix of flavor. The onions were grilled well without being mushy. The garlic fries had a ton of garlic and butter on them. With all the butter and garlic the fries still were not mush. Enough fries in one order for 2-3 people to share, just ask for more than 3 packets of ketchup which is all I got for this box of fries. I would definitely recommend this place. The staff was friendly and kept the covid distance rules. They smiled at me which seems to be rare in Hawaii for customer service. More

We took my granddaughter here for lunch. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and taste of the food, It's a place your order and go outside and wait, We all had sandwiches and they were very good. My granddaughter sampled the moochis and gave... them a thumbs up. More

I have had many delicious meals at La Tour Cafe and I’m finally writing a review! La Tour is really like no other restaurant on island. The food is unique and made with quality! On my most recent visit, I indulged in the Nasu Katsu... Wanpaku sandwich (my new fave)!!! The sandwich is huge and stuffed with delicious fried eggplant, pickled veggies, lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, etc. The shokupan bread that the sandwich is served on really helps to make this sandwich great. To go along with the sandwich, the elote fries are a must-get: Seasoned fries topped with charred corn, contija cheese, cilantro, etc. I also really enjoy the Kouign Amann for dessert! It’s a croissant like pastry with a sweet middle. For a drink, I enjoy the mint water or the plantation iced tea. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant if you’re tired of the normal lunch/dinner spots and down to try something different! More

This is my second time eating here. This trip I had the clam chowder and a pineapple macaroni. Chowder was pleasantly different than the regular fare. Lots of clams. The pineapple macaroni was fabulous. Not too sweet and tons of pineapple flavor. Stop by if... going to the movies or after shopping. You won't be disappointed. More

As locals and foodies we are pretty discerning about even a lunch out. This is our #1 choice. LOVE the French Dip sandwich and Meatball Ban Mie. AND they have macaroons. La Tour is known as having the BEST bread on the island.

For starters, this place gets busy right after a movie is finished... So brace yourself during peak hours. I was lucky enough to get my order in 5 minutes before a movie ended and avoided the rush. I tried the pastrami dip sandwich and absolutely... loved it! I might even call it my favorite pastrami sandwich on the island! It does come with au jus dipping sauce, which was a little too salty for me, and a side salad. (You can upgrade your salad to fries if you'd like!) I'd like to point out, for those who don't like their meat to look pinkish in color, that their pastrami looks well done! (On the darker side -- with no pink in sight) Although it looked well done, it wasn't dry. The garlic black pepper mayo is delicious and compliments the house made bread very well! I feel like the dish didn't need the dipping sauce because the flavors are on point. Normally, for a french dip sandwich I would dip the sandwich into the au jus to soften the bread however La Tour's bread is soft and yet holds the sandwich together without getting soggy! I've always loved La Tour's macarons, now I've found another reason to love them... Pastrami!!! Note: Seating inside is limited but there is a long table for a larger party inside. There are more seats outside and the servers will bring the food to you. More

Best thing about this restaurant is it's proximity to the movie theater. While there is a fairly good assortment of foods I found the food to be average at best. The restaurant is very clean.

Husband had the Pho sandwich which was bland and I had the chicken pesto panini. The panini is by far the worst sandwich I have ever had. It was literally pesto smeared on toast. The chips were ok but cold. Portion sizes are small especially... when you just spent $30 for sandwiches. Service was ok not overly friendly atmosphere. The macaroons are not even enough to make me want to eat there again More

We stopped in for a quick bite before a movie. they were fast through and amazing flavors. We had the Pho sandwich and the Thai caesar. both were fantastic. Sat outside which was very comfortable.

We had some time before our movie started at Regal so we decided to pop in and grab a quick bite. What a very pleasant surprise. The food was great and the macaroons are to die for. It was the first time we ate there... but will not be the last. Counter girls were very helpful and they know their menu inside and out. More

This place is a somewhat sandwich shop/ bakery. It's a bit pricey but we'll worth it! I go there specifically to get my macaroon fix.They have so many flavors to choose from my favorite is thebisland guava flavor.So ONO!

We actually got dinner from La Tour twice - once was carry out as we hit the restaurant for closing and the other time, we dined in. It is convenient to Aulani, near Target in Kapolei. It is similar to a Panera (or St. Louis... Bread Co. for us in the Lou). Food was good and the staff was friendly. They even gave us some Kouign Amann on one of our visits. This was a good place to go with the family and save some money eating away from the resort. More

Nice little cafe with good salads and sandwiches. Indoor/outdoor dining available. Enjoy fresh macaroons for dessert! Reasonable prices.

We ordered the french dip with was ok- nothing to write home about and the fish and chips which was marginal. We will not be back. Service was great but food was not

First off I feel I need to mention that La Tour Cafe is a place for foodies. I once took my boss here - a man who likes “plain old fashioned American food - and he absolutely hated it! The concept of a burger made... with wagyu beef, carmelized onions and Gouda cheese was so foreign to him that when it arrived at our table he refused to try a single bite. That wasn’t his fault; I should have known better than to take him to a place like this. The menu is innovative, combining the finest ingredients to create unique and exciting dishes. While they are perhaps most famous for their baked goods (specifically their huge assortment of macaron cookies), their sandwiches and salads are not to be missed. The atmosphere is casual; order at the counter, grab your drinks, find a seat and wait for your meal to be delivered your table. Prices are reasonable for Hawaii. On a recent visit I tried the falafel bahn mi, a flavorful sandwich of falafel, hummus, firecracker sauce, pickled daikon and carrot, cucumber and cilantro. Best $12 sandwich I’ve had in a while! I also love their meatball bahn mi and the French dip. Honestly I’ve never had a bad meal there, but again, don’t take your boss who only eats ‘murican food. I frequent both their flagship Iwilei location on Nimitz Hwy and the Kapolei Commons location, adjacent to the Regal Cinema.The Kapolei location has an open air bar where you can sit and enjoy a drink while waiting for your movie to start. Definitely one of my favorite lunch spots in Kapolei. More
