- Cruise, offbeat and rural tourism to be integral part of MP Tourism’s 2024 roadmap
As per the department’s update, tourism in Madhya Pradesh bounced back in 2023, backed by the state government efforts. Introduction of new circuits, festivals and setting of tent cities at offbeat destinations, providing rural experiences were some of the hallmarks of 2023. Looking ahead, MPTB plans to make tourism more holistic, sustainable, eco-friendly and adventure packed with intra-state cruises, wellness retreats, reintroduction of small aircrafts and more in the pipeline.

Vinod gotia assumes office of chairman mp tourism corporaiton.
The newly appointed Chairman of Madhya Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation Vinod Gotia and Vice Chairman Narendra Singh Tomar took charge on Monday after reaching the Headquarters of Tourism Bhawan located on Bhadbhada Road.
During this, the Chairman Vinod Gotia said that he would devote and discharge duty with diligence towards
responsibility entrusted by the National President Jagat Prakash Nadda and the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
He will prepare an action plan for Madhya Pradesh tourism to get a different identity at the world level as he had seen every nook and corner of the country and our state holds the better position in the field of tourism as compared to other states.
On this occasion, the newly appointed Vice Chairman Narendra Singh Tomar said that he comes from the holy land of Omkareshwar and very happy that Hanuwantia, which has made its mark globally in water tourism, comes to our region. With the cooperation and blessings of all public representatives, Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation will surely reach new heights.
Earlier, in ceremony, Madhya Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party President Vishnu Dutt Sharma, said that under your leadership, Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation will reach new heights and he had full faith that Gotia ji will do the work of developing my Lok Sabha constituency Khajuraho which is a world heritage site as well as other places.
