eNTRI China Terms And Conditions

• Visa waiver program is eligible for: 1) PRC Nationals tourist residing in Mainland China except Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan
• This  visa waiver program is effective for one year from 1 January 2017 to 31 December 2018
• PRC Nationals who are interested to utilise the Visa Waiver Program must register themselves with the Electronic Travel Registration & Information (eNTRI) System either personally or through a travel agency;
• An eNTRI Note is only valid for a single journey to Malaysia for the purpose of tourism for the maximum of 15 days each entry without any extension of the period.
• All eNTRI registrations are considered on individual merit. Applicant should ensure that they hold a valid Malaysia eNTRI Note before they travel to the Malaysia.
• Applicant is required to pay all the processing fees to the VisaMalaysia for the registration. All fees paid are non-refundable.
• Applicant must make their eNTRI registration at an appropriate time before travelling to Malaysia.
• Applicants must ensure that all information furnished for the eNTRI registration is true and accurate. Any dispute in the information provided may result in denial of entry to Malaysia
• Prior travelling to Malaysia, applicant must ensure they have obtain a confirmed tickets coming in and leaving Malaysia ;
• Applicant must travel to Malaysia within 3 months after they successfully obtain an eNTRI Note;
• Applicants travelling into Malaysia is permitted to enter Malaysia via the following Malaysia Entry Exit points listed below: By Air

• Upon arrival in Malaysia, applicant must furnish the following proofs to the Immigration Officers at the Malaysia Entry/Exit points: 1) eNTRI Note 2) Boarding Pass 3) Confirmed Tickets coming in and leaving Malaysia 4) Sufficient expenses (Cash/Credit Cards/ATM Cards) 5)Complete travel Itinerary 6) Proof of residence in Malaysia
• Applicant are not allowed to accept any unauthorised employment, or attend school, or represent the foreign information media during their stay in Malaysia
• Applicant are not allowed to apply any other passes issued under the Immigration Regulations 1963 [L.N 228/1963];
• An eNTRI Note does not in any way guarantee the applicant the right to enter Malaysia. The entry is at the sole discretion of the Malaysia Immigration Officer at the entry point. In case of denial entry into Malaysia by the Immigration Officer, VisaMalaysia shall in no way be liable to the applicant in any manner whatsoever.
• Applicant will be subject to undergo a three (3) month cooling off period before they can re-enter Malaysia using this Visa Waiver Program;
• Applicants acknowledge and agree that under no circumstances will the VisaMalaysia be liable to them or anyone claiming through them for any indirect, incidental, special and/or consequential losses or damages of whatever nature, or for loss or profits, loss of opportunity, loss of business or goodwill or interruption of business, whether arising out of or in connection with their registration and/or any of the eNTRI registration services, and whether or not relating to any act, error, omission or negligence by the VisaMalaysia or any officer, agent, employee and representative of the VisaMalaysia.
• Applicant who breaches the Malaysian law, will be subject to criminal proceedings and administrative actions by the Government of Malaysia.

Additional eNTRI Registration Terms for PRC Nationals Tourist residing in China Mainland (excluding Macau, Hong Kong and Taiwan)

• Applicant must enter Malaysia by a direct flight from China Mainland to Malaysia or may enter Malaysia via Singapore, Thailand and Brunei
• Applicant also must have a return direct flight ticket to China Mainland, or transit via Singapore, Thailand or Brunei

Other Terms

• The Government of Malaysia, in its sole discretion, may change, amend, cancel or withdraw any or all of the terms and conditions mentioned herein at any time without any prior notice. If an applicant is dissatisfied with the changes being made, the applicant's sole and exclusive remedy is to refuse the services provided.
• Applicants hereby agrees to accept and confirm that the applicant, prior to submitting the visa application, has read, understood and agreed to be bound by, without limitation or qualification, all of the terms, conditions and details provided herein.

• Visa Waiver Program is eligible for: 1) Indian nationals tourist residing in India 2) Indian nationals Expatriate residing abroad (India) except in Singapore
• This Visa Waiver Program is effective for one year from 1 April 2017 to 31 March 2018.
• Indian Nationals who are interested to utilise the Visa Waiver Program must register themselves with the Electronic Travel Registration & Information (eNTRI) System either personally or through a travel agency.
• An eNTRI Note is only valid for a single journey to Malaysia for the purpose of tourism for the maximum of 15 (fifteen) days each entry without any extension of the period.
• Applicants must ensure that all information furnished for the eNTRI registration is true and accurate. Any dispute in the information provided may result in denial of entry to Malaysia.
• Prior travelling to Malaysia, applicant must ensure they have obtain a confirmed tickets coming in and leaving Malaysia.
• Applicant must travel to Malaysia within 3 (three) months after they successfully obtain an eNTRI Note.

• Expatriates must declare their work information and specify their expatriate category such as Professional, Business or Technical during the eNTRI registration.
• Tourist must upload their long term pass from the third country as proof.

As you can probably guess from the name of the pass, the Malaysia country Long Term Social Visit Pass or spouse visa is accessible to eligible people, such as

• The spouse of a Malaysian citizen. The spouse must be a foreign national.
• Common-law spouse
• Children over 21. They must be single.
• Parents or parents-in-law
• Foreign nationals who travel to Malaysia to undergo medical treatment in Malaysia. They are allowed to bring 1 companion.

What are the Required Documents for a Malaysia Long Term Social Visit Pass?

Several documents are required for applying for a Malaysian Long Term Social Visit Pass. Each type of eligible applicant (mentioned above) must collect certain documents. Applicants must collect the following documents and submit them to the Immigration Department of Malaysia:

• The visa applications form IMM.12, IMM.55, and IMM.38. Two copies of either of them are required.
• Copies of all pages of the applicant’s passport. These copies must include personal information pages, previous visa pages, and the cover.

The following documents are required for the spouse of a Malaysian citizen:

• A copy of their marriage certificate
• The form of the Malaysian Sponsor Statement
• Security Bond. This bond must be stamped with an RM10.00 income stamp.
• Pictures. Each spouse must have two passport-size photos.
• Statutory Declaration. This document proves the status of marriage and shows that it is still in effect.
• If they have children, copies of their children’s birth certificates.
• Photocopies of their birth certificates

• Accommodation address of Malaysian citizen
• If the Malaysian citizen is employed: A letter of support from the Malaysian citizen’s employer.
• Trading License
• The Malaysian citizen’s income statements

The following documents are required for the family members of Employment Pass holders:

•  A letter of support
• A letter of authorization
• Pictures of the applicant/s (These pictures must be passport-sized that are taken recently)
• Their marriage certificate
• If they have children, birth certificates of children, or adoption papers (in case of adoption)
• Custody papers of their children
• Photocopies of all the pages of the applicants’ passports
• Approval letter of the Employment Pass holder
• Personal Bond. This bond must be stamped with an RM10.00 income stamp.
• A Statutory Declaration from the Malaysian citizen or permanent resident
• The ID of the sponsor

The following document is required for medical treatment:

• Written confirmation from the appropriate government department or specialist hospital.

Note: The documents listed above are not the complete required documents. Applicants and their sponsors must visit the Malaysia Immigration Department and ask about a full list of documents. Read our article to learn about the complete Malaysian visa requirements .

All copies have to be presented with the original at the time of submitting the documents. In addition, a specific Embassy or Consulate of the country has to certify the birth/marriage certificate as a true copy.

All the documents have to be translated into English. The relevant Embassy or Consulate or Institut Terjemahan Buku Malaysiamust translate them.

How Can I Apply for the Malaysia Long Term Social Visit Pass?

The Immigration Department of Malaysia has the obligation of issuing the Long Term Social Visit Pass or spouse visa.

Before the foreign national arrives in Malaysia, the Malaysian citizen or Malaysian Employment Pass holder must submit the application along with the required documents to the Immigration Department. In addition, the spouse of the Employment Pass holder or Malaysian citizen must obtain a Malaysia Visa with Reference.

Applicants who are the spouses of Malaysian citizens are required to be present with the Malaysian spouse when applying for a Long Term Social Visit Pass at the Immigration Department.

Malaysia Visa With Reference for a Long Term Social Visit Pass

Foreign nationals must obtain a Visa With Reference (VDR) from the nearest Malaysian embassy or consulate before traveling to Malaysia. Before applying for a Malaysian Visa With Reference, foreign nationals need a Visa Approval Letter from the Immigration Department.

A Malaysia Visa with Reference (VDR) is appropriate for all travel purposes except tourism. There is a list of required documents for a Malaysia Visa With Reference below:

• Visa applications forms, such as forms IMM.12, IMM.55, and IMM.38.
• Questionnaire form of Visa With Reference
• Photographs of both spouses or applicants (There must be two pictures that are taken recently)
• Passport or applicant copies of both spouses
• Malaysian sponsor/spouse’s ID card
• A photocopy of the marriage certificate
• Statutory Declaration. This declaration is regarding the status of marriage to show whether it is active.
• Children’s birth certificate
• Evidence of the sponsor’s financial income

Note: The list of requirements above is not a complete list. Applicants can check the website of a Malaysian embassy or visit an embassy to learn of the complete requirements and their opening hours.

How Long is the Malaysia Spouse Visa Valid?

The Long Term Social Visit Pass or spouse visa is valid from a minimum of six months to a maximum of five years. This type of Malaysia pass can be renewed before it expires.

Malaysia Spouse Visa Fee

The Long Term Social Visit Pass can be used to enter Malaysia by foreign nationals of Malaysian citizens or expatriates.

Can I Work with a Malaysia Long Term Social Visit Pass?

When family members of Employment Pass holders come to Malaysia, they cannot start working with a Long Term Social Visit Pass. In order to get permission to work, they need to find an employer and apply for their own Employment Pass.

On the other hand, spouses of Malaysian citizens do not need to change their Long Term Social Visit Pass into an Employment Pass. Instead, they can start work in Malaysia by getting an endorsement to work in their passport from the Immigration Department of Malaysia. This endorsement is free.

Applying for the work endorsement for the spouse of a Malaysian citizen needs:

• An application letter
• A letter of appointment or company registration evidence
• Their valid Long Term Social Visit Pass to the Visa

If the printed expiry date has passed and you’re applying for a visitor visa, study permit, work permit or to extend your stay as a temporary resident in Canada, follow these steps:

• Add 5 years to the printed expiry date shown on your passport and enter it in the expiry date field of the application form.
• Include a letter of explanation with your application stating: “I am a Venezuelan national with a Venezuelan passport, which has been extended for 5 years”.

Warning: If your passport is still expired after adding 5 years to the printed expiry date, your passport is considered expired. You’re not eligible to submit an application with that passport.

Complete the form that declares you and your partner are in a common-law relationship. Also provide proof that you and your common-law partner have combined your affairs and set up a household together.

What is a common-law partner?

Proof can include

• joint ownership of a home
• joint residential leases

• joint utilities (electricity, gas, telephone)
• joint management of household expenses
• proof of joint purchases, especially for household items
• mail addressed to either person or both people at the same address

Faster visitor visa processing for spousal applicants

If you’re being sponsored for permanent residence (PR) by your spouse or partner, you could benefit from faster processing for a visitor visa.

You may be eligible if you

• submitted an application to be sponsored for permanent residence
• received an acknowledgement of receipt (AOR) that confirms the application is in progress

Applications that need more information, for example custody documents for a child, will take longer to process.

When your sponsor receives the AOR for your permanent residence application, you can apply for a visitor visa. If you’re eligible, your visitor visa application will automatically receive faster processing. You don’t need to request it.

You must still meet all of the requirements to be eligible for a visitor visa .

To apply for a visitor visa to visit Canada on business, you need to qualify as a business visitor.

To qualify, you must show that:

• you plan to stay for less than 6 months
• you don’t plan to enter the Canadian labour market
• your main place of business and source of income and profits is outside Canada

Business visitor activities include business meetings, special events or training for a few days or weeks.

If your meeting, event or conference is registered with us, include the event code in your application. You should get this code from the organizer.

Note: If you plan to stay for more than 6 months, or if you plan to work in Canada, you may be considered a temporary worker and have to  apply for a work permit .

To apply online, you need a scanner or camera to create electronic copies of your documents, and a valid credit or debit card.

If you need a visitor visa to travel to Canada, you must apply online for one. Only online applications will be accepted and processed. However, you can apply on paper if:

• you can’t apply online because of a disability or
• you’re travelling with an identity or travel document that was issued to a refugee, a stateless person or a non-citizen
