What about the Mission Voyager XT?

Mathews guys, I hear so many people (myself included) who complain year after year that Mathews doesn't make a 33-35 inch hunting bow, many of us don't want to shoot a 30 inch bow. I haven't been comfortable with any bow that Mathews has put out since the Drenalin. I was at a shop Saturday and checked out a Mission Voyager XT, and for the life of me, I can't figure out why I haven't heard more about this bow. This is exactly what we have been asking for from Mathews for the last four or five years! 34 inches ATA, 7 inch brace, 330 ibo. This is basicly a Z cam on a Switchback or Drenalin (with limb pockests). This is the top of the line Mission and has a roller guard, sting suppressors, and the same Mathews Grip which could be swapped out for a torqueless or focus grip, and the price tag of $699 is a lot easier to swallow than a thousand bucks. I'm seriously considering one, and if Mathews doesn't release a longer bow next month I'll likely own one.

I have one all black with custom strings. To tune this bow it likes a heavy arrow. It's not a true speed demon but it shoots a great arrow. One of my Michigan State University Archery team has 2 of them. She has won 3 national championships with it. It must shoot good.  

I've thought the same exact thing...the real question is though, why isn't this being produced as a Mathews bow, not a Mission bow? The specs look about perfect, so I don't know why Mathews doesn't pick it up and make it with the better finish and overall quality. Probably because they sell more bows that are that tiny ATA. It still baffles me though....I don't know why they wouldn't at least attempt to sell this under the Mathews name.  

I think you were right when you said they sell more short ATA bows, a lot of people like them, but I actually like the idea of these bows being sold under the Mission name for $300 less than they would charge with lost camo and a few more harmonic dampeners.  

Anybody else own or shot one?
