Yes, there are life jackets on board for crew and guests.
When is best time to go? Morning cruise or afternoon cruise?
I enjoyed the morning. There is less people. I got around the boat pretty freely to different parts of the boat to take pictures. The crew told us it is packed in the afternoon.

A nice way to spend a couple of hours on the waters of Lake Tahoe. Everything was right on time, even our efficient shuttle bus. The route across from Zephyr Cove to Emerald Bay included an interesting educational recorded narration on the geography and history of Lake Tahoe. The onboard food and beverage selection was somewhat limited, but it was only a 2.25 hour trip, so no issue there. There were plenty of locations both inside and outside to enjoy the great views.
We went on a sunset dinner cruise. The lake, as always, is beautiful. Sunset in Emerald Bay was beautiful. The food and service was terrible. There were not enough servers for the room. The service was slow and the entire drink and meal process was nonsensical. The salad was only a few bites. The rib-eye was covered in gravy. Serious red flag. The meat was over cooked and dry. The 'fresh' buns were warmed up to hide the stale. The live band was entertaining. I would never recommend the dinner cruise.

It was amazing dinner food and experience! Ride was smooth and fun. They have live band. Nice lake sight seeing. Staff was friendly and good customer service. Highly recommended

If you've never been on the water at Lake Tahoe let me say that the mountains are just as beautiful as on the land, but the waves add a little something extra that tilts the scales of beauty to show off the sheer vastness of its depth, both physically and metaphorically. Taking in the lake during a day cruise is also ideal for a perfect 360-view of the tea house on Fannette Island in Emerald Bay, and a perfectly panoramic view of Vikingsholm in all its finest examples of Scandinavian architecture glory. If you're looking for something a little more unique and a chance to stargaze on the lake and take in the nighttime silhouettes that the lake and surrounding forest has to offer, then the dinner cruise is just the ticket! The full meal option has a good variety for a simple menu as well as providing a variety of drink options. The meals are served at longer communal tables which can be hit or miss depending on how much you want to socialize or how chatty the guests at your table are, but after dinner you are free to roam and find a new location to sit if desired. The cruise is aligned with sunset for a balance of daytime beauty, pastel sunsets and a shift to nightfall. Depending on the time of year you visit, just remember that the lake and wind can be cold in the evening, so a jacket is a must if you aren't use the colder temperatures.

This company is completely unorganized... Stayed at Harrah's and was happy to hear that they would pick us up with a shuttle and take us to the boat. Our pickup was at the Harrah's valet at 2:35pm.... We called the desk and the female said to be on the lookout for a "White Shuttle with Zephyr Cove" written on it... We waited and waited... No shuttle matching that description showed up... We called the desk 3 more times after waiting a half hour, then she said the shuttle had already come and gone and that we'd have to get our own transportation!?!? We got a $40 taxi to make the boat trip. Come to find out afterwards that the shuttle is not what they described, but is, instead a bus that is not white, and has "Wilderness River Adventures" on the side!!! WTF? Called and talked to the manager who couldn't care less that they scr3wed us. What a mess.
This is their "White Shuttle with Zypher Cove written on it" WTF?!
10 Stars for the view. The live band was fun and watching the paddle was super cool. We were lucky to go the weekend after a fall snow storm so the mountains were snow capped but the temps were decent enough to enjoy the view from outside. Dinner was fine but we were hoping for a little more. The salmon had nice seasoning and was cooked well but the steak was dry and bland. The salad and cheesecake were partially frozen. The rolls were over warmed so they were hard by the time we buttered them. I imagine food prep on a boat is tricky but it seemed rushed. We were also bummed for the earth that most was disposable tableware. The interior could use a little touching up too. It just seems dated and a little cold. It was Halloween week but there were no decorations.

5/20/2023 We were gifted this experience for our honeymoon and it was a 3/5 for us. The cruise itself had really nice views and plenty of seating. I would recommend bringing a coat, it does get chilly towards the end of the 5pm departure. We had the second seating for dinner so once we made it to one side of the lake, we were seated which let us eat until we reached the other side of the lake which was quite nice. The downsides of this cruise is the amount of people onboard which sometimes leaves you feeling crowded and also the food was not very good and came out warm at best. However, the staff was incredibly nice which improved the experience for us. So my recommendations for this cruise is to bring a coat and dress accordingly for a chill, bring cash for a tip for your waiter, find your seating fast, check out the live band and drinks and enjoy the views !!

The scenery is totally worth the 390$ we spent for 4 people . The food was very poor quality, the steak looked grey, old - it was chewy as well . The food was not what I expected it to be . The tour speech volume was so low you could barely hear them talking - we had to stand next to a speaker to hear what was being said . Overall the experience was beautiful - the food could definitely be way better for what you are paying . The waitresses were exceptional ! Super friendly and kind which Made the trip even better . *sunset cruise dinner*
Wonderful experience and great food. I was a little skeptic at first as the pics didn't look fancy and the boat looked a bit old.. but experience was great! we loved it!
My first time 8/26/23 dinner cruise and it was okay but a few suggestions 1- itinerary for how things take place . 2-A/C or fans in dinning area it was really warm & stuffy 3-Cant hear anything said on the speakers so best to play soft music while dinning 3-we asked waiter for more bread and she said none left? but table next to us got bread 20 minutes later that was just baked.. 4-chicken breast looked more like a pigeon thigh , not much of a chicken breast . 5-2 man bad could play better selection of music especially after viewing age of crowd , or take suggestions of songs considering they said theyve played with many artist 6-short time of music played .7-photos taken at dock never appeared, to purchase? Lastly for $140 sure wasnt really worth that , maybe $75 but now I know and I will share with family & friends
