About Russ:

Thirty-one-year-old multi-platinum rapper, singer songwriter, producer and best selling author Russ walks his own path, at his own pace. In his 10+ years of releasing music, Russ has developed an extensive catalog of music that has collectively surpassed over 22 billion career streams and 25 million singles sold to date. By doing so, he’s proved that he doesn’t need a major label, making the Forbes “30 Under 30” list in 2019, selling out arenas across the U.S. and around the globe, and becoming one of the most popular engaged rappers and thought leaders in the world right now. His method is simple: love and believe in yourself absolutely and work hard no matter what. In his best-selling self-help book “It’s All In Your Head,” Russ inspires readers to walk to their individual rhythms and beat their biggest obstacles: themselves.

Known for his unique rollout of dropping new singles every few weeks and producing his own tracks, Russ’ album There’s Really A Wolf released in 2017 is now RIAA certified 2x platinum and spent 84 weeks on the Billboard 200 albums chart with standout singles “What They Want” and “Losin Control.” His albums SHAKE THE SNOW GLOBE and Zoo additionally hit the Billboard 200 chart and are now RIAA certified gold. Russ has an incredibly loyal fan base, with his song “3:15 (Breathe)” hitting a peak of over one million daily streams in 2023 when it was originally released in 2021. In 2022, a champion for independent artists, Russ launched his indie label DIEMON (an acronym for “Do It Everyday Music Or Nothing”) with partner and longtime collaborator Bugus Thompson. With DIEMON, Russ launched artist Ktlyn after her remix of his platinum single “Handsomer” went viral, inspiring the open-verse trend on TikTok.

Last summer, Russ released his deeply introspective album SANTIAGO , which debuted at #12 on the Billboard 200 chart and explores Russ’ journey of self-approval, finding his self-worth, self-love, and moving on from seeking validation from others. He brought his immersive world of SANTIAGO to his fans, holding pop-ups across the country through an entirely self-funded and self-executed marketing strategy. Russ also released a short film inspired by the album also titled SANTIAGO , which debuted over a 2-night special event in 88 theaters across the US and UK.

Russ’ artistry knows no bounds, crossing over from his usual rap/hip-hop style to going acoustic with single “Drives” and even orchestral with a remix of his songs “Drives,” “Psycho Pt. 2,” and “3:15 (Breathe)” recorded live with Strings From Paris. Russ is always releasing new music, having recently dropped his new single “In The Dirt.” He’s performed on some of the world’s largest stages and wowed audiences – including performing “Patience” on Jimmy Kimmel Live! – watch HERE.

Born and raised in Zone 6 of Atlanta, 6LACK exploded onto the scene with his breakout debut FREE 6LACK album in 2016, cementing his insatiable, singular sound. He was later catapulted into stardom in 2018 with the arrival of his critically acclaimed and certified-gold sophomore album, East Atlanta Love Letter, which hit No. 1 on the Top R&B Albums and peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard 200.

Cole, Future, Selena Gomez, Young Thug, Timbaland, Normani, Isaiah Rashad, Rita Ora, Ty Dolla $ign, Lil Baby, Khalid, Jessie Reyez, Nao and many more. Between 2019-2020, 6LACK was the most featured artist with over 30 features, most notably Normani’s 2019 MTV Music Awards Best R&B Video “Waves.” Most recently, his colossal collaboration with Lil Tjay on the song “Calling My Phone” earned him a No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, No. 1 on the Hot Rap Songs chart and hit No. 3 on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100 chart. The track has since reached platinum status and was brought to life through a moving performance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

After nearly five years largely out of the spotlight, the groundbreaking artist has returned with a new project displaying incredible depth and range. His third studio album, Since I Have A Lover, chronicles 6LACK’s journey of hitting bottom and finding his way back to himself through deep healing, grounding and radical self-love. The album arrived to large critical acclaim from The New York Times, NPR, Complex, FADER, Essence, Pitchfork, Hypebeast, VIBE, XXL, Uproxx, Revolt and many others. About Melii:

Hailing from Harlem, New York, Melii is an emerging artist whose music is a rich tapestry woven from her diverse artistic background. Growing up amidst the legendary sounds of jazz from the Apollo on 125th Street, she was deeply engaged in the arts from a young age, participating in choirs, musical plays, and even singing at nursing homes. Inspired by her father, a Dominican musician, and the raw talent of Harlem, Melii channeled her experiences into poetry before transitioning into music, where she found her true voice.

With a clear vision for her art and a deep understanding of her audience, Melii’s music resonates with confidence and authenticity. Her first ever performance was at Barclays Center, marking the beginning of a series of remarkable career highlights. Collaborating with icons like Lil Wayne and Tory Lanez, featuring on a record with Meek Mill, and touring with both Meek Mill and Summer Walker have showcased her growing influence in the industry. Moreover, her collaborations with Rihanna for Fenty Beauty and having her song “Icey” featured in Beyoncé’s Ivy Park x Adidas commercial underscore her wide-ranging appeal.

Influenced by artists like Drake, PARTYNEXTDOOR, and Tory Lanez, as well as the emotional depth of Spanish ballads, Melii’s music blends emotive melodies with compelling beats. Beyond music, Melii’s interests are as diverse as her talents, from swimming to playing volleyball. She views music as a flow of expression, a belief that fuels her creativity and keeps her grounded.

As she looks to the future, Melii aims to connect with a wider audience through elevated writing and storytelling. Her advice to aspiring musicians is to embrace freedom and authenticity in their art. I went to a Russ concert back in July of 2017 and I can tell you what, I was VERY disappointed. My friend and I chose to get to the venue around 3:00pm so we could be close to the front of the pit, when we arrived there weren't maybe but 50-100 people there so we were content with sitting outside and waiting until 7:00pm for the concert to start. Disclaimer, Russ will NOT start his concert when it says he will, we got inside at 7:00 and we were checking his twitter and seeing if he was tweeting when he would come out on stage. Russ tweeted that he would not come out until everyone had entered the venue. Our venue was completely sold out and it held 2,200 people. We waited a whole 2 more hours onto of the 4 we already waited. Russ finally came out around 9:00pm and started preforming and he was very much like how he is on recordings so I was impressed. Since we had been sitting out in the summer heat all day long, all of the people in the mosh pit started yelling for water, out of the kindness of his heart he brought out 4 packages of bottled water and threw them out to the crowd. Very thankful for that because I did end up getting a bottle of water. Following up with the next song, once the chorus came around all of the people with water started throwing it up in the air making the water get all over the stage. Russ stopped mid song and scolded us and cussed us out and called us disrespectful and said we were horrible people and he specifically said "Don't waste my f***ing time" he left the stage, we were all confused as to what happened and people started leaving. After waiting 6 hours to see this man and paying $60 to watch this concert, he left after not even 10 minutes of preforming. 30 minutes had passed and he finally came back on stage and continued with his show, finishing his set around 10:20ish so his set list wasn't even worth watching, yeah he was a great preforming but in-between every song that he sang, he scolded us and he gave us life stories rather than performing.

Rating for Russ would be 6/10 he sounded great but I'm not a very patient person so I didn't think it was worth the time and I didn't like the way he treated his fans, we supported him and now I refuse to listen to his music, he is nothing but a rude, obnoxious and self centered musician. He has talent but a terrible attitude.

Was pretty excited for the show. Russ is one of my favorite up and coming rappers...so I was pumped to see him in person. I had my tickets in hand and arrived 30 minutes early...so I was expecting everything to be smooth sailing...but boy were my expectations crushed. The line went across the block. Waited an hour after doors were supposed to open to get in. DJ Midlife Crisis was garbage...and the place was full of snot nose 14-16 year old punks looking to start fights...and I did see a few fights. I was ready to leave before the show even started. I waited till Russ came out...and it basically became a sermon after that. Russ spent more time preaching about his success than actually rapping...so I left after the 3rd song. Disappointed and lost a ton of respect for one of the few real rappers I thought was left. This was basically what I imagine a Jonas Brothers concert looks like...only with a lot less drugs.

Went to Russ when to came to Melbourne. I'd never recommend him to anyone at all. We got to the venue about 45 minutes before doors opened. There were no signs or people telling us where to line up and once we reached the door we were told to go into another one since we were in the wrong one. We got into the venue at about 7:20 and waiting until 8:40 for him to come out. There was no warm up DJ, pre acts, nothing. There was music coming from the speakers but most likely was the top 100 hip hop playlist from Spotify on a -5 volume. Everyone was getting pissed off and agitated that he was coming out for late. He came on and the first couple of songs had good energy but nothing special.

Worst 90 dollars ever spent.

I was really excited to him in concert because it was my first time seeing Russ and I even bought the meet and greet tickets. He had an amazing DJ that kept the place going till he got on stage and then it was crazy!! He is really an amazing singer and a true artist who cares about his fans and really appreciates everything that happened to him. It was a real change to see someone who would go back through his lyrics and explain why he wrote them and you could tell that he actually wrote them. I would recommend him to anybody that appreciates real music for a real singer and will definitely be going to another one of his concerts soon!

The feeling of insanity present in that room when "what they want" came on and Russ stepped out was like fire. The whole entire concert was dope, exceeding the expectations especially with the singing. He really moved the crowd, and like he fed off of the energy almost. The lyrical display was intense and smooth, and of course song choice and placement is important and he nailed that too. A couple of things that could have been better, well he could have come out sooner and stayed longer, but I do not hold that against artists because that is not usually in their control. Definately going to see Russ again when I get a chance.

justin-smith-63’s profile image

He killed it, the audio and visual affects were dope and really completed the show. He sounded good too rapped and sang a good portion of his songs unlike a lot of artists and the crowd was feeling it, everyone was singing along and dancing up a storm. I think a scuffle did break out but security ended it pretty quick, Russ walked off stage for a min but came back and finished the set, not sure if that had anything to do with it but the show ended shortly after. He came out for an encore too and killed it definitely wanna see him again

Russ is an amazing all around artist. He was phenomenal. His interaction with his fans and showing love was true. The crowd was heavily engaged with Russ and collectively sang every song he performed. He performed much more than 4 of his songs, that tells you a lot, compared to other artists out there. Love love love Russ! ❤️ He needs more recognition because he's one of a kind, great.

The concert was great and such an amazing experience, though I felt like the waiting game is longer than the actual concert. The concert felt very short, but it was amazing! Though I wished we could’ve waited inside instead of outside since it was -10 degrees celsius and was very very windy. But great concert though!

Couldn't wait for the concert to start... when Russ cam on to the stage the people literally collapsed! The mood was awesome! The live musik of Russ is dope! He showed his coolness and loyaltie to his fans by wearing a soccer tricot from Cologne at his show.

Can't wait for his new album!

Russ Is Hitting The Road For The ‘It Was You All Along’ Tour Alongside 6lack And Melii

Aaron Williams

In the new trailer for his upcoming tour, It Was You All Along , indie rap evangelist Russ takes the piss out of reaction video culture as he announces the dates of his future shows and continues to advocate for protecting your mental health. He takes on YouTube interview shows, vlogger reviews that call everything “cringe,” and hypocritical therapy talk from anonymous internet commenters. It’s a clever, quirky approach that finds Russ addressing his worst habits while taking down dorks who spend all their time dissing artists on the internet (for free!).

The It Was You All Along tour kicks off on Friday, May 31 in Seattle, with opners 6lack and Melii . Tickets go on sale Friday, March 15 at 10 am local time, with a presale starting today by the time you read this. In a comment on the announcement trailer, Russ addressed the implosion of his last tour, 2022’s The Journey Is Everything , which he canceled after just one show to salvage his mental health. “Lotta anxiety surrounding this day cuz I knew some people would be disappointed and I HATE disappointing people especially my fans but I love all of you,” he wrote. “I just wanted to do an arena tour for progress purposes and I didn’t wanna be on the road for too long so I know some of yall are mad bout your city not bein on here but I love all of you. Hope to see a bunch of you!!”

‘IT WAS YOU ALL ALONG’ TOUR   with 6LACK + Melii

- watch  HERE.

What Is The Russ Presale Code?

Fans can choose one of the below presales to get tickets before the general onsale for the “It was you all along” tour. The VIP and Artist presale are both live!

VIP Package Presale

The VIP Package presale has started! A presale code isn’t necessary for these Russ tickets . You will need to decide which of the four available packages best suits your preferred experience. VIP perks vary between each but include pre-show photo opportunities, access to a VIP lounge (light appetizers, drink vouchers, games, and other amenities), a rideshare voucher, a VIP gift item, early entry, and more.

Artist Presale

The Russ artist presale has begun! To participate in this presale you should first pick a Russ tour date you want to attend, then enter the following presale code to unlock the artist presale: RUSSWORLD .

Promoter Presale

The promoter presale opens on Wednesday, March 13th at 10am local time . After you’ve decided on a tour date for Rus s you can use the promoter presale code to get your tickets: KEY .

Venue Presale (Kia Forum)

The Kia Forum venue presale is on Thursday, March 14th at 10am local time . Fans in Los Angeles can take advantage of this presale if they plan on attending the Russ date at the Kia Forum . Just use the presale code to get access: INGLEWOOD .

What Are Those Official Platinum Tickets?

If you’re seeing very expensive tickets that are not VIP, those are official platinum tickets. These tickets are very expensive and are offered well over the standard ticket prices. They’re the kind of ticket pricing that is unfair to fans. The Event Organizer(s) has priced these tickets according to their market value (aka dynamic pricing). In other words, ticket pricing can go up or down, and it usually goes up.

Artists can choose not to offer Official Platinum or limit the amount for charity purposes. The Cure , Pearl Jam and U2 have all been recognized as artists that don’t use these dynamic pricing tactics.

Official platinum tickets do not include VIP packages. The only positive thing about them is they make buying floor or front-row tickets to a high-demand concert very easy if you’re willing to shed the extra coin. They can be bought during a presale without a presale code (doesn’t always apply to Verified Fan). Availability and pricing for official platinum tickets are subject to change based on demand.

If money is not an object, you should definitely bank on the convenience of getting Official Platinum tickets.

Pro Tips When Buying Your Tickets

First, on the day of the presale or general onsale (whichever you prefer), login to your Ticketmaster account ( go to my account or sign in located on the upper right corner of the page ) at least 15 minutes ahead of the sale time. If you don’t have one,  create one now .

Be sure to add your billing info (aka credit card info) before jumping into the digital queue for a quick check-out. Once the presale starts, remain in the digital queue. Only use one browser window because using multiple browsers or devices and multiple accounts with the same phone number can result in errors. Trust, it’s happened to us before! Don’t refresh your page, do be patient, don’t leave your page, do get those tickets!

What To Do If Tickets Are Sold Out?

If tickets sell out, your other option is to buy them via online resellers like VividSeats or StubHub. When all else fails, we prefer these resell options because both offer a 100% Guarantee. You can also purchase resell tickets through Ticketmaster’s resell program. Just search for the concert or event you want to attend , and see if they have any resell tickets available. We recommend you compare the three options and find out which works best for you.

Alternatively, you can hit it old school style and show up at the concert when the box office opens and wish upon a star that they release more tickets, or hopefully, another concert-goer has an extra ticket to sell at face-value or even giveaway for free. Trust, this happens more often than not! We’ve given away many tickets to sold-out shows simply because our +1 couldn’t make it.

Also, more standard tickets are often released via Ticketmaster 1-3 days leading up to the show date. We’ve seen it with Beyonce , Taylor Swift , Arctic Monkeys and many more! It’s a secret gatekeeped by many, but if you’re reading this, now you know! So be sure to set your calendar notifications!

In 2023, Russ had another strong year for himself as an independent artist. He released his 16th studio album, “ Santiago ,” which went on to see a number 12 debut in the US on the Billboard 200 chart. This project contained 13 new songs, including collaborations with Rexx Life Raj , Bibi Bourelly, and Justin Nozuka. #98s Rapper Jimmy Unveils Debut Mixtape ‘Where Should I Start?’

Features include Unknown T, Potter Payper, V9 and more.

The #98s family continues to prosper as Jimmy takes centre stage on his debut project, Where Should I Start? , which, despite Jimmy coming from a drill outfit features only a couple of drill songs.

Since the #98s team came through in the wake of Unknown T’s rise to power, they’ve used their collective strength to make individual stars of each member. Where Should I Start? follows full-length breakthroughs from Unknown T, V9, and KO, and judging by early reactions, this project has everything needed to bring Jimmy just as much success.

Features-wise, the East London native sticks mostly to his core team, with Unknown T, HitMan, Billy Billions, K.O and AlChubbino featuring on “Prevail”, while V9 joins Smokes on “Scary”. The only features from outside their circle come from Potter Payper on “Regina” and a surprise contribution from singer-songwriter Humble The Great on “Fade Out”.

Another impressive and well-conceived full-length project from the #98s set. While we wait to see who’s next, tap into Where Should I Start? below.
