100 Animal flashcards DOWNLOAD Pack 1 (Pre-k level / Elementary level)

Pack 1 of the animal flashcards contains all animals and their animal vocabulary words. The cards are simple, colorful, and easy for children to understand. There are over 100 animals, so I recommend that after making the flashcards, you should select maybe 12 animals that live in the same habitat and start there. Talk about where the animals live and what they eat.

These cards are a great way to teach food chains too. Be mindful of what animals you choose, as it will affect the difficulty of your lesson. Please select the most common animals first. Within the animal, flashcards are animals that live in the sea , forest , jungle , desert , farm , savanna , and more !

100 Animal Flashcards for reading DOWNLOAD Pack 2 (Pre-k level / Elementary level)

Pack 2 comes with the same 100 animals, but each beginning letter of the animal vocabulary word is highlighted. This pack of flashcards is designed to be used as a way to focus on reading. Ask the students what the animals’ name begins with! Please be careful about the difficulty level of the animal. I would recommend using shorter animal names first.

Suggested grammar & phrases: phonics / letter sounds, animal alphabet flashcards aa-zz download pack 3 (kindergarten level / elementary level).

Pack 3 of the animal flashcards are actually animal phonics! These animal alphabet flashcards are designed to help children practice the sounds of letters using animal names. These flashcards are great if children are getting bored of their regular phonics cards.

Feel free to play a matching game with pack 2 of the animal cards, the children will have to search through 100 animals to find the 26 animals that match the alphabet! If you have a big class, you could even go one step further. Why not lay the cards of pack 2 in a row and then ask the children to organize all 100 cards under the correct letter! Ratings and Reviews

Another great app by the developer. This too is very simple to use, remains illustrative and offers high quality visuals and sounds. Supporting multiple languages is a nice feature to have for those who have second language. I enjoy having the types of animals grouped into categories as it makes searching for what you want to find effortless.

Good app but could be a lot better

This app is in the category for ages 5 & under, so I thought my 4 year old would love this. I took a look at it first and thought it was a great concept but executed poorly. The pictures of the animals look so weird and some of the animal sounds are interesting. I decided to show my daughter and she liked it at first but got frustrated when the slideshow would lock. So unfortunately the app didn't hold her attention for very long.

Great for kids!

If you’re looking to teach your kids about all of the jungle animals that live in the rainforest, this is a great app for it! All of the animals are super adorable and when you click them, the name of the animal is read out, and it even makes the animal’s sound! There’s also a huge variety of animals, so it never gets dull. Great app for kids!
