So sorry for not reverting back, I checked with my mechanic when I took it for regular servicing, he told me the fan wasn't working and he will try repairing it, if it works then all good or else I ll have to replace it, but luckily he it got repaired he told me the brushes were gone that's replaced now and it works just fine now
I got my safari delivered yesterday, a weird thing I noticed -although it is as expected in the manual. The engine lock indicator keeps blinking even after I have pulled out the keys -as I its mentioned in manual 1.>Blinking means engine immobilized and secure 2.> Off means key authenticated and ready to start 3.> On means -some issues, get it checked Have never seen it any other vehicle and hence wanted to reconfirm.with existing safari owners Second issue I noticed is squeaking sound -doors, seal belts knobs and here and there -all from latches and knobs seems no proper greasing! Is it normal in new vehicle, atleast I had none of these in my WangonR! Otherwise ..WOW ..what a vehicle ..comfort, drive ..superb!
Re: Tata Safari Storme Road Test Drive Review The monk said: ya, same thing i too had developed in my safari. Thereafter i got tyre pressure checked, found less pressure in front left tyre, got it refilled and was working fine...till for a few days, the problem cropped again and again less tyre pressure. I got the tyre checked and all seams fine but repeated air filling within 20 days is mandatory now. Click to expand... Either the tire have small puncture or Disc(Rim)/alloy has bent in case it has tubeless tire. Plesae check. Also check up whether the particular wheel has break jam/ bearning problem and if then the wheel may get hotter and that will reduce the tire pressure.

Tata cars if engine immobiliser is working even after key is removed it will blink its normal.

Well, the door squeaks and generally not seen in new vehicles. in my case, the squeaks started after 8th month. but some times I had an odd noise coming in from the rear hatch door while closing. I had sent the vehicle to service center couple of times to attend this mini issues. But there are bound to get these squeaks here and there. They get resolved too (at least in my case) But other than these the storme is wonderful beast to drive.
When I took my wagon R I was recommended by the service manager not to cross 60kmph before first service! No one recommended any thing like that for safari, neither do I see it the service manual -Is there such limit for diesel vehicles especially Safari -if its there I do not know how will I do it -it seems 60+ is minimum speed when safari is happy ;) I am planing for a long trip, Bangalore to Mumbai in a month -is it Ok to get the first service done after I return or vice verse (get the first service done and then take it for a long ride)

This is normal. Same in my Manza and also for Vista series. I think VW also have similar thing but just a LED light on door.
i have noticed few issuse in my Safari 1. My ac condenser fan has stopped working again, hence cooling has gone for toss,so this time rather than reparing it again i plan on replacing it completly. 2. i had taken my car for wheel alignment yesterday and the guy told me there is a play on LHS front wheel and suggested not to do alignment and take it to you mechanic 1st to detemine the problem because if the aligment is done on that the left side tyre will go bald. so i took the car to my mechanic he told me the tie rod will have to be replaced also the car drives like a boat. 3. its been raining like crazy since few days, and i noticed there is water leakage in the cabin some where near a "DEAD PEDAL" area. (i know safari doesnt have one !!), actully cant exacly pin point the location, i shall click a photo and post it tomorrow. Can someone throw some light on this.
Hi, My safari is now 3 months old with 1500 on odo, first service done.. no issues as such. Some noise was there in cabin which was rectified -it was due to door alignment. I wanted to ask about steering handling -is it harder that other vehicles? I have wagon R , and I find Safari steering not to be as light as WagonR -is my comparison wrong? Here is what i have observered: 1.>When Igntion On and vehicel is slow, as while reversing or on signal -Steering very smooth. Almost like my Waggy 2.>If at High speed -it takes some effort to change lane. It's not that I have to apply too much muscle, but it's not as smooth as while reversing or at slow speed -let's say 20-30% stiffer 3.>If the Road condition bad, for example, all of sudden rough patch, it seems that steering has lost its "power" tag 4.>After ignition off, when I try to lock steering -it's tooo hard. I reported it during service, but do not see any improvement. I though before talking to service people, it's better to get opinion of existing user as my point of reference is WagonR which is much lighter and smaller! + it's a Maruti! Is it little bit tougher to handle such heavy vehicle? I have driven non power steering vehicle -so power steering is def working, but not sure about the level of smoothness when it is safari! for example a Hyundai guy will find Maruti steering a little more stiff
can some one help me out, I got the below errors when I connected OBD device to TORQUE pro car. can you ll tell me what exactly is wrong in my car.

Hey guys want some small help, I managed to crack one of my rear fog lamps. I bought a replacement and want to do a DIY but dont know how to get access to remove the same. I tried from underneath the vehicle but the chassis is blocking access so how is it actually removed?
Central locking stopped working in Tata Safari 3.0 Today morning when I tried to open a door with remote, there was no response. Had to open the door manually. Realised that the central locking is not working in my Safari. Any suggestions what I need to check? Also, the reverse horn did not work today, so I wonder if there's any wire cut? Or are there any fuses to check. Please help. Thanks.

look like a wiring problem if reverse horn also work while door lock and unlock (chu-chu)

Tata Safari Storme review, test drive and video
Tata’s long-awaited Safari update, the Safari Storme, hits the roads. We take it out for a spin.

When you first look at the new Safari Storme, you are immediately struck by how, even 14 years after its launch, Tata seems to have made barely any changes to the exterior. Alterations to the nose and rear suggest that it’s not much more than a facelift. However, that misconception gets blown to dust the moment you drive it. Once you’re behind the wheel, you realise just how much of an improvement the new Storme is over the previous Safari. It feels better built, it’s far more refined, it rides really well and the interior too feels a generation ahead.
The most obvious changes are to the front, where the slim, wide grille (capped with a thick chrome strip) undercuts the sharp-looking headlights in a nice, stylistic touch. Move to the side however and the Storme looks exactly like the old Safari. New cladding for the doors and wheel arches can’t hide the fact that the glass house is identical, the doors are similar and the A, B and C pillars are the same as well.
At the back, the tailgate-mounted spare wheel has now been moved under the floor. The result is a cleaner rear profile with a new set of tail-lights.
On the inside, the overall improvement in quality all around is immediately evident and almost nothing of the old car is carried over. The chrome door handles and leather seats add a touch of luxury, as do small details like the chrome on the gearlever and the flock lining in the glovebox.
Just like the previous generation Safari, the Storme has excellent seat comfort and, once you haul yourself in, you are rewarded with a commanding seating position and a delightfully spacious and airy cabin. The front seats are large and very well bolstered, whilst the rear bench is supportive too.
In stark contrast, the third row is far from comfortable or practical. The tiny, foldable jump seats are only useable on short journeys, at best.
On the mechanical front, the Safari Storme uses an updated version of the 138bhp Dicor motor, which Tata now calls VariCor, because of the use of a variable geometry turbo. This 2.2-litre common-rail, direct-injection motor uses double overhead cams, hydraulic valve adjusters and sixteen valves to breathe better.
The overall level of refinement is much better now with an engine that is quieter throughout its rev range, and a cabin that feels particularly well insulated from the outside.
Tata engineers have managed to shave around 75 kg off the old car thanks to a lighter chassis, but this hulking two-tonne SUV is a bit lethargic off the line; a result of its weight and lack of low-end torque. You need to keep the engine above 1800rpm, after which the Storme picks up the pace with a fair amount of enthusiasm. The mid-range is quite punchy and cruising is quite effortless, which suits the Safari’s role as a long-distance cruiser.
The clutch is reasonably light and the gearbox has been improved with shorter throws, but the shift still feels a bit soggy and vague.
The Storme sits on a shortened version of the Aria’s hydroformed X2 chassis and maintains the previous Safari’s 2650mm wheelbase. As a result, the Storme’s chassis is approximately 50 percent stiffer and 35kg lighter than the old Safari’s outdated ladder frame.
The ride comfort is simply fantastic. The Storme coasts over bumps and broken roads like a freight train, flattening out even the largest of potholes. The suspension, also carried over from the Aria, is on the softer side, and hence there’s a fair amount of pitching and heaving over uneven surfaces.
The Storme retains the old Safari’s comprehensive four-wheel-drive system that includes a low range and a limited-slip differential. The system is easily engaged by using a central console-mounted dial and this allows the big Tata to tackle medium to difficult sections.
The new Safari Storme comes equipped with features like ABS, remote locking and an audio system with Bluetooth connectivity standard across the range. In fact, the Rs 9.95 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) that Tata is asking for the base Storme LX may be considerably more than the old LX, but the equipment is on par, if not better than, the old mid-level EX.
Unusually, the top-end VX versions (Rs 12.5 lakh for the 4x2) no longer get the reversing camera (there’s just parking sensors) or DVD player as they did before.
The Safari Storme, then, comes across as a quantum leap ahead of the previous Safari. It’s well-equipped, refined, better built and comprehensively updated. And with prices starting from Rs 9.9 lakh for the base 4x2 model and going to Rs 13.7 lakh for the fully loaded 4x4 option, it’s great value for money. Also, as a long-distance cruiser, nothing can quite beat it for the money. The only grouse is that, even after 14 years, Tata hasn’t got around to changing the ageing body completely.

Expert Review on Tata Safari Storme
The Tata Safari Storme has maintained its status as one of the country's most sought-after automobiles for many years. Even the busiest city streets won't be too much for this strong and sturdy SUV; it can handle any terrain, and the ride is comfortable enough for long distances. But what is it about the Safari Storme that makes it so unique? In this article, we will discuss the characteristics of the Safari Storme that set it apart from the competition. There's a lot to like about this automobile, from the fact that it has a robust engine to the fact that its cabin is roomy. If you are thinking about purchasing an SUV, then you should look at the Tata Safari Storme as an option.
How is the Design?
When it comes to Indian sports utility vehicles (SUVs), the Tata Safari Storme represents something of a deviation from the norm. It is not boxy or awkward in any way, and instead has an overall pleasing appearance. The front end is especially beautifully done, with projector headlamps that come with LED daytime running lights and a chrome grille that contains the Tata emblem. Additionally, the daytime running lights can be turned on and off independently. The sides are not particularly complicated, but there are some attractive features, such as roof rails and alloy wheels that are 17 inches in diameter. A roof-mounted spoiler and LED tail lamps may be found in the rear of the vehicle. Overall, it's a really nicely constructed SUV that should be able to hold up well as it gets older.
The design of the Tata Safari Storme is based on that of the Land Rover Freelander. The vehicle was designed by a team of engineers from Tata Motors, JLR and Magna Steyr. The design process involved extensive use of computer-aided design and modelling. The aim was to create a vehicle that would be both practical and stylish. The front chrome polished dual-slat grille meets with the massive drawn-back headlight units, creating an appearance that is either enormous or more substantial when viewed from the side profile. A substantial band made of chrome is positioned right over the front grille, and it bears the word "STORME" embossed in black. The top of the vehicle, known as the bonnet, is level, giving the impression that the SUV is from an earlier era. The fog lights and small air intakes are all part of the same fog lamps assembly that is located on the lower side of the bumper. To tell you the truth, the front windscreen and the plain window frame on the flanks are significant deal breakers. The profile seen from the side is unimpressive; it seems overly cluttered and features a number of wrinkles. The wheel arches are widened, and a side stepper has been installed, both of which are done for the convenience of the passengers.
In addition to this, the placement of the tyres is not correct, and there is a significant space between the wheel arches and the wheels themselves. Tata was unable to improve the appearance of the vehicle's rear end, and it now has a dated appearance. It has a rounded spoiler at the top, a flat boot lid, a pair of unimpressive tail lights, reflectors, and dual chrome finished tail pipes. Despite the many redesigns, Tata was unable to do justice to the rear styling.
How does it perform?
Under the hood of the Safari Storme is a 2.2-liter, 16-valve DOHC VTT VARICOR diesel engine that is capable of 148 horsepower at 4000 revolutions per minute and 320 Nm of torque between 1,700 and 2,700 revolutions per minute. A manual gearbox with five speeds is used to handle the transmission responsibilities of the vehicle. The top-of-the-line model features a four-wheel drive electronic shift on fly mechanism in addition to a restricted slip differential. This option is available. A more potent version of the 2.2-liter diesel engine, branded the VARICOR 400, and producing 154 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque, is offered on the top-of-the-line trim level of the vehicle. The more powerful engine comes in both 2x2 and 4x4 configurations, and it is paired with a brand new manual gearbox that has six speeds.
How’s the Mileage?
The fuel efficiency of the two-wheel drive version is somewhat improved, coming in about 14 kilometers per litre. Although the gasoline engine has a power output that is 9 horsepower more, the diesel engine appears to be more nimble while moving. The Storme can accelerate from a standstill to 100 kilometers per hour in just 15 seconds, despite the fact that it is a hefty vehicle (approximate value).
How’s the Driving Experience?
The Safari Storme is an extremely enjoyable vehicle to pilot. It has a good amount of power and the comfort level is really high. The one and only drawback is that it's a little bit on the expensive side. Nevertheless, if you are searching for a fantastic time behind the wheel, the Safari Storme is an option that you should seriously consider.
How’s its Off-road Capability?
The Tata Safari Storme is an SUV that is made to be sturdy and rough, and it is designed to handle any kind of terrain. Off-road driving might present a variety of obstacles, but thanks to its robust engine, you'll be able to overcome any obstacle you come across. In addition to this, the suspension system was developed to be able to cope with bumpy and uneven terrain. You may feel confident that the Safari Storme will be able to see you safely through whatever journey that you choose to do with it.
What’s the Interior like?
Fortunately for the Storme, the interior is far more tastefully designed than the exterior. The cabin has taken on a more upscale appearance by adopting a darker colour scheme and adding touches of silver throughout. A dynamic four-spoke steering wheel similar to the one seen in the Tata Zest is one of the features that make the cabin stand out. Aside from that, the dashboard has a chic and contemporary design, but the quality of the materials used to construct it is not up to par. A music system, air conditioning vents, and temperature knobs are all included in the center console's silver finish. The floor console has convenient cubby holes built into it for storage purposes. The instrument cluster that sits behind the steering wheel is both spacious and easily readable. There is enough of space for passengers both in the front and in the back, including excellent leg room. There is space in the back of the vehicle for two additional people thanks to the placement of two jump seats. Because of the big glass surface, there a great view, particularly for the driver. When compared to the earlier model, the Storm's cabin now features some updated amenities. The VX top-of-the-line model has a dashboard, center console, and door panels that have a dual-tone finish that is predominantly beige and wooden. The LX and EX models have a dual-tone finish that is predominantly black and silver. Fabric in shades of beige (VX) and gray are used for the seats (LX, EX). Additionally, the steering wheel and gear knob each follow the same pattern of dual combination for their respective trims.
The analogue dials on the instrument cluster are larger than those found on earlier models, and the illumination is bright white. The cluster on the clock that is simple to read is covered in black rims. In addition, the instrument console features a cigarette lighter, AC switches, and a Drive Selector Knob (VX) that allows the user to choose between 4H, 4L, and 2L drive settings. It features air conditioning vents for the occupants in the second row as well as a charging port for mobile devices. When it comes to the amount of space available inside the cabin, the Storme provides a generous amount of both legroom and headroom for all passengers. With roof-mounted air conditioning vents, the dual-tone interior makes the cabin seem more open, larger, and clean than it actually is. The front seats of the SUV can be adjusted in three different ways.
Tech and Infotainment
In this day and age, it is difficult to conceive of existence without the assistance of various forms of technology. Our lives are continuously made simpler and more fun by the abundance of gizmos and gadgets that are constantly surrounding us. The Tata Safari Storme is no different, and it is equipped with a range of different technological and informational capabilities that will keep you engaged and connected even when you are on the road.
The Safari Storme provides you with an automatic temperature control system as well as an adjustable steering column to ensure that you remain comfortable even on the longest of journeys. In addition, there is a built-in four-speaker sound system that provides audio clarity for those individuals who enjoy taking their music with them wherever they go. Therefore, whether you are searching for a vehicle that can keep up with your hectic lifestyle or one that will help you relax while you are on a lengthy road trip, the Tata Safari Storme will not fail to please you. This automobile has everything you need to make every journey an experience to remember, from its sleek and contemporary style to its robust engine and cutting-edge technological features.
Safety Equipment
When it comes to protecting you and your loved ones, the Tata Safari Storme is a family car that comes standard with all of the most cutting-edge safety technology available today. These include child-proof rear door locks, dual front airbags, anti-lock brakes with electronic brakeforce distribution, seat belts with pretensioners and load limiters, engine immobiliser, and more.
Which variant to buy?
There are four different versions of the Tata Safari Storme: the LX, the EX, the VX, and the VX 4x4. The LX model is the entry-level model, and it has a price of 10.19 lakh Indian Rupees (ex-showroom Delhi). Steel wheels measuring 16 inches in diameter are included, as are manually adjusted outside rear view mirrors (ORVMs), fabric upholstery, dual front airbags, and anti-lock brakes (ABS) with electronic brake distribution (EBD).
The EX model has a starting price of Rs. 11.69 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) and comes standard with features such as alloy wheels measuring 17 inches in diameter, outside rear view mirrors that can be electrically adjusted, leather upholstery, an eight-way adjustable driver's seat, and steering mounted controls.
The value offering is the VX. It comes equipped with amenities such as alloy wheels that are 18 inches in diameter, projector headlights, fog lamps, rain-sensing windshield wipers, automatic headlamps, cruise control, and a Harman audio system with touchscreen interface and subwoofer, rear camera with park assist sensors, eight-way power adjustable driver's seat with memory function..
The most expensive model is the VX 4x4, which has the capacity to operate all four wheels simultaneously and is the pick of the lot if you are an off-roading enthusiast.
Which Cars Compete in this Segment?
The Safari Storme has competition from a variety of different vehicles that are similarly positioned within the Indian automobile industry. It is a rival to the Mahindra Scorpio and also the Hyundai Creta in terms of prices. Some would also put the Renault Duster here. However, to be honest, the Mahindra XUV500 and Scorpio are both rivals at various levels of the brand. The Mahindra Scorpio is clearly a more popular option, with its rugged and muscular design, great features, and reliability. However, it does not have as powerful an engine and may be costlier.
One of the other vehicles that compete with the Safari Storme is the Renault Duster. It is an SUV that is more affordable than the Safari Storme and comes with a 5-seater configuration. The Hyundai Creta is a larger 5-seater proposition in this regard. Both these SUVs are no match for the brawn of the 7-seater Tata Safari and lack off-roading abilities. However, they are better equipped with contemporary features in some respects. Their engines are also not as powerful as the Safari.
Verdict (Value for Money?)
The Tata Safari, one of the first locally produced and most popular SUVs in India, has been on the market for several years now. In that time, it has seen a number of improvements and updates, notably to its engine and power output. The Tata Safari Storme is based on the X2 Platform of its sibling ARIA and features a more robust Hydro formed Chassis sections, a new 2.2-liter,16-valve DOHC Common Rail Direct injection diesel Engine named VARICOR with Variable Turbine Technology, and a new G76 Mark II Gearbox. Although the Storme is already the most reasonably priced SUV on the market at this size and with this heft, it may benefit from a few upgrades in terms of interior plastic quality, features that are available from other brands, and general refinement. It looks and feels dated, although it offers a powerful engine and suitable ruggedness with that take-me-anywhere feel.

Tata Safari Storme (2020) Review
In the year 1998, we got our first home grown SUV known as Tata Safari. It was the first SUV which was entirely designed, developed and manufactured in India. Cars like Scorpio were the follower of this beast which was the ruler of its segment. Safari has gone under some changes with some facelifts which have kept it alive but now the competition has increased. With new competitors like Mahindra XUV500 and many others, Safari looks a bit aged and needs a serious up gradation. Tata knows it and they are ready with the second generation of their legend known as Safari Storme. Tata displayed it for the first time at Delhi Auto Expo 2012 and launched it on 17th October, 2012 in Indian car market.
Tata Safari Storme looks visually identical to its previous generation. That may or may not work in the favour of this car. May be Tata is hoping to hold the loyal buyers of Safari who like its current styling and they have decided not to play much with its basic design but looking at the new competitors, it doesn’t mange to impress you instantly, it will take you time to accept the new changes. The shape and size of the new car has not changed much. One can easily figure out that it’s a Safari. The new safari shares its platform with its elder sibling Aria which is lighter and well-built than its earlier chassis. It retains the same wheelbase of 2650mm. There are eye catching changes made to the face of this car. Gone are the old, square shaped headlights and now gets replaced with more angular and edgy projector headlights.
Bumper grille is all black in color with massive, elongated chrome bar just above it which looks premium on this car. The new bumper has leaner air dam and new round shaped fog lights with chrome surrounds. There are noticeable lines on the front bumper and the new Safari looks much more aerodynamic than before. The side of the car receives minor changes including new body colored side cladding, door handles and side mirrors with inbuilt turn indicators. There is a new wider door step fitted in this car. It also has new silver colored roof rails with 16 inch alloy wheels which along with bulgy wheel arches makes it look sporty. The rear of this car is a big disappointment. It takes away the macho character of this car.
The car stands vertically tall and looks like any other van or MUV. Spare wheel goes missing from its boot gate which earlier used to be the hall mark of this car. There are new revised clear lens taillights which look down market. Its revised rear bumper now houses two round shaped chrome surrounds for exhaust pipe which looks sporty with new reflective lights. Other changes include new body colored rear spoiler with a stretched chrome bar just above the number plate. The overall designing is just acceptable of this new Safari as the fit and finish is much better than before but it certainly disappoints you in terms of styling as we expected a lot more than what Tata has offered.
The fit and finish and the plastic quality inside Safari has always been a matter of concern. Finally with the new Safari Storme, Tata tries to get rid of this problem. Similar to its platform, Safari begs the interiors from Aria which now feels much plush and satisfactory than before. It has all beige interiors with high quality of fabrics and plastics inside. The car feels much better than Scorpio but loses out to XUV 500 which feels a class apart from inside. The three spoke steering wheel and gear knob makes their way from the Aria and comes wrapped in leather. Its instrument dials are easily readable with white background light. Some of the buttons and plastic feels even better than Aria and we are sure this time it won’t be criticize much for its quality of interiors.
Comfort and Convenience
When it comes to comfort there is no one better than Safari in its segment. Be it driver or passengers it pleases everyone with its generous space and comfort. The seats are of high quality and give you the best comfort. High seating of Safari Storme allows the driver to get the perfect view of road and it makes hatchbacks looks as tiny as possible. The rear bench of Safari Storme provides sofa like comfort to back passengers with enormous amount of legroom and shoulder room. There is no place inside Safari where you can say that space and comfort could have been better.
There are many features in Safari Storme for you convenience which includes powerful AC with automatic climate control and rear AC vents. It features power windows and electrically adjustable and fold-able side mirrors. There are individual armrests for front and rear passengers. Central locking, rear defogger with timer and some standard features are expected in this car.
Dashboard and Storage
Music system.
Tata Safari Storme sports a single DIN audio system which is a let-down at this price. Sadly, Tata Motors has finally provided steering mounted audio controls, which are a boon while driving in city.
Engine and Gearbox
Tata Safari Storme is powered by a 2.2L VariCOR diesel engine. This engine is still one of the most powerful engines in its segment. It currently powers the old Safari and new Aria. It is the only engine option in this car following BSIV emissions. However, Tata has tweaked this engine especially for this new car to make it more responsive and fun to drive. The power and torque output of this engine remains the same.
Perhaps it produces a peak power of 148 bhp at 4000 rpm with maximum torque output of 320 Nm which starts coming at 1700 rpm and keep on coming till 2700 rpm. This engine surely beats up the engine used in Scorpio in terms of specifications but the mHawk engine with Variable geometry turbocharger used in XUV500 seems to be more powerful than this engine on papers. Safari Storme is equipped with Five-speed manual gearbox and there are chances that Tata will launch an automatic variant of this car.
Acceleration and Performance
This department matters the most when you buy these cars because their performance on road often speaks for the person sitting inside. Safari has always been a performer and the next gen Safari is expected to continue this legacy. Thanks to the new platform, new Safari is lighter in weight which has improved its power to weight ratio. This engine has been criticized for its refinement level and noisy behaviour but after retuning of this engine, Tata expects it will be appreciated this time.
This motor starts pulling up power as early as 1700 rpm and gives you a brilliant power delivery till 2700 rpm. Minimal turbo lag has been a USP of this engine and with altered gear ratios things will get better in future. The short gear ratios confirm you a stress free ride in city traffic as it avoids frequent gear shifting and you never run short of power. New Tata Sasari Storme makes less noise and vibrations thanks to the dual mass fly wheel system which it borrows from elder sibling Aria. New Safari Storme has a short gear lever to choose between 4 wheel and two wheel drive, similar to its previous model.
Earlier also, Safari’s off road drive has been applauded in comparison to its on road drive. New Storme has a separate transfer case for 4 wheel drive which has short ratios to make it a perfect off roader. New safari is expected to reach 100km/hour in less than 15 seconds due to its lightweight and may cross the top speed of 150km/hour.
With rising fuel prices, fuel efficiency has become an important criterion of selection for many buyers. Competitors like Scorpio and XUV500 are very economical and it was a big challenge for Tata to make Storme a fuel efficient car. Yes, Storme is lighter than before but it is still heavier than others like XUV500. It may possibly manage to give you a fuel efficiency of around 10km/ltr in city and 14km/ltr on highways.
Ride and Handling
New Safari Storme feels better than current Safari in this area; thanks to its new body frame and suspension system which it shares with Aria. The new power steering also reduces it turning radius from 6m to 5.6m which acts as a boon for this car. The new Safari is more easy to use in city traffic and it won’t take much of your bicep power to park it in tight spaces as new steering responses really well and feels compatible with this car.
With a ground clearance of 200mm, R16 size of tyres and four wheel drive system, you are ready for almost everything that comes in your way on and off road. The car offers a plush and comfortable ride due to its all new suspension which has double wishbone and McPherson struts in them. It easily passes through all the big potholes and ends up giving you a ride to remember.
Braking and Safety Features
Tata offers disk brakes all around in the new Safari Storme. For making accurate braking, this beast features ABS with EBD and brake assist. Many other safety features are there which includes 2 SRS airbags, Electronic Stability Program and traction control for better grip while off roading.
Tata Safari Storme is available in seven shades: Urban Bronze, Astern Black, Pearl Champagne, Sardinia Red, Pearl White, Arctic White and Arctic Silver.
Tata has placed the new Safari Storme between the current generation of Safari and their premium SUV Aria. At this place, it is more expensive than Scorpio and dares to challenge Mahindra XUV500 which shook the market and set new records of success. It feels a generation ahead of Safari Storme in terms of styling. We think Tata took a long time to reveal this new car as after seeing XUV500, we are afraid how people many will opt for this car.

Tata Safari Storme 2019 Verdict
The Safari has always been known for its presence and mighty demeanour and continues to do the same despite its design being decades old now. It is a spacious vehicle that will take a whole family of five with all their luggage without having to worry about broken roads or bad patches. But it feels too old now especially when compared to its modern competition.

Ha Ha! My wife doesn't like documentaries either. Ah women, but the life would have been impossible without them. (She is watching Chuck Noris' Texas Ranger!) Anyway, I have a solution: a cheap (below 300€) little notebook which slips good under my arm for "toilet-surfing". Over the past several years it was a Dell Mini 10 and now I switched to Acer Aspire AO725. So I can watch whatever I want and where ever I want! She doesn't like Nazis screamong so I have always my headphones on. Now I can watch in the garden, kitchen, garage ...

Mac Users, use Safari, start the video, click option - command A Then double click on the very large file that begins downloading (if available, ie not copywrited) For those not in the know who want to download this excellent series: http://www.youtube.com/user/MaskedElement51?feature=watch PC etc, at http://www.youtube.com/ etc insert ss like this http://www.ssyoutube.com etc Click More, then select the file size and type that you want under the 200 Mb limit. Now if someone could only explain how to overcome this: Error: incorrect IP address It is only possible to download the file from the IP which the link for downloading was received from: abc IP Address, instead of this xyz IP address

If you use Firefox as a browser, add on the download helper. A little icon appears next to the URL when you visit a site with downloadable material. Click on it and an mp4 downloads, sometimes as quick as 5MBs/sec for the entire program. No limit as to file size.

Today I have seen yet another fine documentary about the battle for Moscow. Survivors and participants of the battle are presenting their view. Sincere, unbiassed testimonies, without a trace of bitterness or ideology. This is a story by the people who have seen or participated the battle and lived in Moscow during winter 1941. Absolutely great documentary which I can just recommend. Enjoy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yd6egExrJGo
Well nothing got done around this house until I got through this whole series and even subscribed to HULU. I cannot say enough good about this series. JeffinMNUSA
