Safari World Bangkok: The One and Only Guide

Learn all about Safari World Bangkok for the ultimate zoo adventure!

Welcome to Safari World Bangkok , one of the largest and most well-known zoos in Thailand. One of the reasons it is so popular is because it is an open-air zoo. Animals can roam around freely out in the open area and not in confinement! This certainly takes the whole ‘going to the zoo’ experience up a notch and definitely adds a sense of adventure as if you were really out on a wildlife safari in Africa. Seeing wildlife creatures such as lions and tigers are, of course, on our to-do list but there’s so actually so much more to it than meets the eye.

Safari park.

Safari Park , one of the two main areas in Safari World Bangkok , is where the real safari adventure begins! Stretching up to 8 km, a drive-through Safari Park in your car or coach will provide you will the rare opportunity to get up close (but not too close!) with some of the most magnificent members of the Animal Kingdom.

The whole trip across this massive park will take around 45 minutes, guiding you past many of the herbivores first such as zebras, giraffes, rhinos as well as many species of birds! Make use of this great chance to truly admire these amazing creatures and observe them in their natural habitats instead of cages.

The second part of the drive will take you into the much-awaited predator’s den. This is where you’ll get to meet the “intimidating” lions, tigers, and bears going about their daily lives just taking a nap in the shade or maybe enjoying a bath.

Nonetheless, it’s nowhere safe to provoke them for any reason at all. So, just remember to keep to the safety guidelines, such as no honking and driving slowly, to enjoy a safe but thrilling safari adventure!

Marine Park

It’s a great place, especially for little kids, to really interact with all the different animals there and get to learn more about them. What’s more, enjoy 7 unique shows such as the dolphin show and feeding show! Both entertaining and educational, a trip to Marine Park in Safari World Bangkok will surely be a day well spent!

4. Directions: How to Get There

Taxi / Grab

One way to get there is to take a taxi. The taxi fare will really depend on where you’re taking from and whether or not you can haggle down the prices. Nonetheless, it will cost you about 700 baht (20 USD) and double that for a round-trip. So, we recommend taking the taxi or grab to those who aren’t really on a budget and can afford to spend a few bucks more, or are traveling in big groups. Otherwise, we suggest you opt for other modes of transport.

Public Transport

If you’re a good navigator, public transport isn’t such a bad option either. Of course, it has its ups and downs but taking public transport will provide you with the opportunity to explore Bangkok up close and save you quite a few bucks on your trip!

👉 Check out our blog on How to Go to Safari World Bangkok by Public Transit for more.

Transfer Service

If you have any doubts about taking a taxi or public transport (as do some people in foreign countries), why not book a transfer service to take you there and back safely, without worrying about losing your way or getting overcharged? We offer all-inclusive packages which include a Safari World Bangkok ticket, a lunch buffet, and a round-trip transfer service at a bargain! You can even choose from two options: shared transfer service or private transfer service. Opt for a hassle-free trip to Safari World Bangkok and have all the fun you want!

Loved drive through Safari world and Tiger cub feeding

Very interactive for kids. I highly recommend it. Please take the safari world bus rather than your own car. The advantage of seeing these animals from a higher platform in bus, with limited or no tints on windows, helps you see animals more clearly, especially one in shade hiding behind.. We took a grab cab to and fro.. It was 425 bhat each way and 100 bhat per person for bus inside safari world.. The marine park was great and well planned.. easy to see most shows (although we felt they could have been longer).. Animals enclosures were very close to us.. Also giraffe feeding and tiger cub feeding was a big hit with my son.. The international food buffet was very good and a surprisingly big spread.. Mains, fruits, soup, desert.. I highly recommend it

The best Safari so far. The environment is good, many various of animals, nice staff, speaks good English

There is a separate area that houses giraffe. You can feed them by paying a small amount. More than the zoo area we really enjoyed the outside zone where there were so many giraffes, zebra, deer, tigers and lions. U could see them so close

Very nice and big place you can fitting giraffes there have a lot of animals. I get in to dolphins show that I less like. I am not s

Safari world is a must place to visit when you are in Bangkok as they have different shows which we really enjoyed and worth watching too but getting a taxi to this location is really have been big trouble for us. But once we arrived ,we enjoyed every moment

Most of the attractions are not open, and the shows follow a strict timing. The only thing worth noting is giraffe feeding and photo with orangutans. Those are the experiences that are fun and memorable. Also for those who want to take photos with giraffes while sitting on a jeep, I'm told this isn't the place to do that and that can only be done in safari world at another province.

Live Life Lah…….

Travel, eat and live life to the fullest…., feeding tigers and lions at safari world bangkok.

Safari World Bangkok is definitely one of my 99 Panya Indra Rd, Sam Wa Tawan Tok, Khlong Sam Wa is one of my top favorite places in Bangkok… and it will be for those who love interacting with wild animals….

safari world animal feeding

Safari World Bangkok has been around since 1988 and this wild life park gets more better day by day

This awesome tourist attraction is about an hour’s drive out of Bangkok city and divided into two areas: Safari Park and Marine Park.

On my second trip there, I headed to the Marine Park first…

safari world animal feeding

The Marine Park is pretty much like a traditional zoo where you can view animals, birds, reptiles & mammals in enclosed spaces. …

safari world animal feeding

However, there are places where you get to see animals perform tricks and there are places where you get to feed and pet the animals as well as photo spots with the animal stars of the safari world… yeah I know, to some people this is not something they like and they prefer to see animals in the forest and such, but we are living in a world where animals are going extinct because of global warming and loss of habitat and all and sometimes it is safer and better for them to be in forest reserves or zoos provoded they are cared for…

safari world animal feeding

And to some people like me, I love getting a chance to be near wild animals… yeah, this is my chance to get near these beautiful animals…

safari world animal feeding

There is never a dull moment in Safari World with its space and shows and one of the highlights of their shows would be the Dolphin show where you can watch these intelligent mammals perform a variety of tricks in a special large amphitheater.

safari world animal feeding

It is such an entertaining presentation of their skills and natural mental power. They can easily follow instructions like twirling in the water or jumping up in the air.

There is also a Sea Lion show, an Elephant & a Bird show., as well as a Cowboy Stunt show, a James Bond-style Spy show & a Water Ski show as well as a controversial Orangutan Muay Thai Boxing….

safari world animal feeding

I also had a fun time meeting and feeding the kangaroos at Camp Kangaroo (this really made me feel like I was in the Australian outback) and the camels before pausing for a quick lunch at Tiger Burger kiosk…

safari world animal feeding

And no, in case you are wondering Tiger burger is not made from tiger meat… rather it got its name from the crying tiger Thai dish prepared from grill beef….

safari world animal feeding

And that is basically what you get- a delicious burger with crying tiger beef patty….it comes with fries and a drink…..

When we finished with the Marine Park, we headed out to go to the Safari Park

But this time my trip to the Safari Park was different and my friend and I , along with a few other tourists were locked inside a caged lorry for about 45 minutes.

safari world animal feeding

This was kind of a turnabout since ironically, we were all locked in the cage and not the animals. But we were all given a bucket of fresh chicken parts and tongs!!!!

safari world animal feeding

Yeah!!!! Instead of just watching the lion and tiger feeding show, this was our opportunity to feed the lions and tigers!!!!! Yeah we joined the Safari feeding activity and were now given a chance to go feed some of the most dangerous cats in the world!!! There are a few sessions a day which you can participate!!!

This new attraction at the Safari World is truly only for the bold and the brave!!! We were all taken into the open park marveling at the beauty of the African-like wilderness while seeing the zebras, giraffes, camels and white rhinoceros

We also passed a lot of storks, gaur, watusi, wildebeests and oryxes. As well as the smaller horned animals like the impalas and fallow deers. Before continuing our trip deep to the Safari Park with pounding hearts to meet the dominant felines… the lions and the tigers!!!!

safari world animal feeding

I gingerly pick up a raw chicken breast from the bucket and dangle it ouside the cage through a small feeding hole and the lions start standing on their back feet with their massive paws in front of my face as they ate the meat offered… we could here disgruntled growls as well as a little bit of scuffle

safari world animal feeding

I was definitly in awe with thie close up view of the Kind of Beasts… we offered them half the meat from the bucket before saving the other half for the tigers…

Just like how the lions are fed, we also got the opportunity to feed the other magnificent and powerful striped cats who came to get their food from the steel cage.

safari world animal feeding

I almost wanted to feel the rough fur of the tigers during the feeding, and I for one was fascinated by their gigantic paw beans and the sight of their massive jaws clamping over the meat proffered as I stand closely to some of the most vicious predators in the jungle…

safari world animal feeding

It was truly an experience not to be forgotten….

When all the meat was gone, the lorry carrying us headed to the last section of the Safari Park where the bears were before returning to base and allowing us out of our cages….

Our visit to Safari World Bangkok was really fun and unforgettable . We loved seeing the animals and the fantastic shows.

To get the best experience, try to visit both parks . We spent around 7 hours there .

We used a shuttle bus to get to the zoo since there’s no nearby BTS station.

This shuttle service includes a drive through the Safari Park , where you can see the feeding shows for lions and tigers up close . You won’t need to pay extra for a coach bus ride to enjoy these experiences.

There’s no direct BTS or MRT train going to Safari World Bangkok, so you need to take the train first. Right after, hop aboard the public bus.

Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to get to Safari World via BTS train, then public bus:

Shuttle Bus to Safari World Bangkok

The best option is the shuttle bus from downtown Bangkok to Safari World . This air-con ride is not just the most convenient but also the safest mode of transportation .

Meet the Canadian who’s feeding Ukraine’s stray dogs

  • Deep Read ( 4 Min. )
  • By Vivien Fellegi Contributor

April 22, 2024 | Toronto

“Good boy, would you like some food?” Duane Taylor remembers calling out into the chilly night air in Izmail, Ukraine.

A skinny puppy trotted up to Mr. Taylor fearlessly, ripped apart the pouch of food that he was carrying, and inhaled it in one gulp. Mr. Taylor has had to dodge bullets and missiles, and endure blown-up roads and wary border police during his two forays into the war-torn country. But moments such as this one made his risky enterprise worthwhile.

Why We Wrote This

War-torn Ukraine is overpopulated with strays. One volunteer is coming to their aid, with food and empathy.

“It does make you feel good,” Mr. Taylor says during an evening Skype call from his home in Ottawa, Ontario.

Even before war broke out in Ukraine in February 2022, the country was overpopulated with strays. But their numbers soared when the conflict began and millions of people fled Ukraine, many of them reluctantly leaving behind their pets. To address the animals’ needs, Mr. Taylor started Impact Express, a project that delivers pet food and veterinary supplies to stray cats and dogs in Ukraine and neighboring Moldova.

“I honestly think every single day, many hours a day, how can I help dogs better?” he says. “It is my purpose in life.”

Duane Taylor was combing through the southwestern port city of Izmail in war-torn Ukraine, looking for stray dogs. “Good boy, would you like some food?” he remembers calling out into the chilly night air.

A skinny puppy trotted up to him fearlessly, ripped the pouch of food apart, inhaled it in one gulp, and smeared the little that was left across its muzzle. Mr. Taylor broke into a chuckle. He had to dodge bullets and missiles, and endure blown-up roads and wary border police during his two forays into Ukraine. But moments such as these made his risky enterprise worthwhile.

“He’s happy,” Mr. Taylor says of the satisfied pup, during an evening Skype call from his home in Ottawa, Ontario. “And it does make you feel good.”

The need to feed stray animals in Ukraine is huge right now, says Lori Kalef, director of programs at the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals International. Even before war broke out there in February 2022, the country was overpopulated with strays. But their numbers soared when the conflict began and millions of refugees fled Ukraine, many of them reluctantly leaving behind their pets.

Living conditions for the abandoned animals have been dire, Ms. Kalef says during a phone interview from Victoria, British Columbia. Strays are vulnerable to hunger, thirst, and the vicissitudes of weather. And at a time when resources for displaced humans are scarce, strays are seen as a low priority. “Without people like Duane or other organizations,” Ms. Kalef says, “the animals who are still in Ukraine wouldn’t stand a chance.”

Mr. Taylor, who hails from Newfoundland, started Impact Express, a project that delivers pet food and veterinary supplies to stray cats and dogs in Ukraine and neighboring Moldova, about two months after Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine began. He has completed two trips to Ukraine, delivering more than 66,000 pounds of food to thousands of strays, by his estimate. He has spent more than $75,000 – the bulk from his own pocket, after dipping deeply into his life savings.

Mr. Taylor says he has always had a soft spot for animals, ever since sharing his crib with the family cat. Over the years, he has adopted and cared for a wide array of creatures, even building a protective shelter once for a couple of pigeons that landed on his balcony and laid eggs.

But in Mr. Taylor’s recollection, none of the animals he has known could compare to the floppy-eared Pyro. The pup’s abusive owner inflicted multiple injuries on the dog before turning him out onto Ottawa’s streets a few years ago. Mr. Taylor’s niece adopted Pyro, and Mr. Taylor helped to care for him, taking him on trips to PetSmart and the park. He also spent thousands of dollars trying to save the animal. Although Pyro seemed to bounce back, he died in Mr. Taylor’s arms six weeks later. The dog lover was devastated.

That’s when he vowed to dedicate much of his life to helping abandoned pets. “I feel for the animals,” says Mr. Taylor, a senior policy adviser for Canada’s federal government, because “humans cause every bit of suffering for every animal.”

The war in Ukraine galvanized Mr. Taylor to act on a larger scale. After creating Impact Express, he flew to Romania in April 2022, procured a van, and filled it with pet food and medical supplies that he drove across the border to shelters in southern Ukraine. When he returned home, Mr. Taylor’s colleague at Impact Express, Gabor Petru, who heads his own nonprofit, Volunteers Without Borders, continued to drive the van on weekly trips to Ukraine, while Mr. Taylor oversaw his organization’s operations from his house in Ottawa. Mr. Taylor returned to Ukraine in September 2023 for another two-month stint.

He recalls that he faced many obstacles while carrying out his missions to the war zone. Shortly after he had embarked on his first trip, he entered a military checkpoint outside Odesa. An officer there suddenly began screaming at Mr. Taylor in rapid-fire Ukrainian. Mr. Taylor tried to break through the impasse, deploying the only Ukrainian he knew: the words for “dog” and “food.” No dice. Then he tried a universal language, barking, “Woof, woof.” The officer didn’t understand that, either. Finally, Mr. Taylor called a colleague at a nearby shelter and passed the phone to the officer, and the incident was resolved.

During his second trip, Mr. Taylor recalls, he was forced to languish at the border between Ukraine and Romania for nine days. To leave, he had to navigate past highways obliterated by missiles.

Staff members at Datcha Animal Shelter in Chișinău, Moldova, where many Ukrainians relinquished their pets, are glad Mr. Taylor persisted. Irina Marcu, who runs the place, says Mr. Taylor is “like a person who came from the sky. Our angel.”

safari world animal feeding

Mr. Taylor has almost single-handedly supplied the shelter’s 400 dogs and 80 cats with food, paid for veterinary care, and brought the animals to a nearby clinic through almost-impassable forest roads. He has also constructed large, comfortable cages.

Mr. Taylor says he has come to the aid of his own species, too. He regularly supplies refugee centers with basic goods. On one occasion, he passed through a Ukrainian village populated mostly by older people. When Mr. Taylor heard that they needed adult diapers, he bought a large supply in Romania and delivered it to them when he was back in Ukraine.

He is now back home in Ottawa and feels rewarded. He notes that he received “unconditional love” from the animals, made lifelong human pals during his travels, and has even found unexpected romance with another volunteer at a shelter for strays.

“I honestly think every single day, many hours a day, how can I help dogs better?” says Mr. Taylor. “It is my purpose in life.”

We want to hear, did we miss an angle we should have covered? Should we come back to this topic? Or just give us a rating for this story. We want to hear from you.

Dear Reader,

About a year ago, I happened upon this statement about the Monitor in the Harvard Business Review – under the charming heading of “do things that don’t interest you”:

“Many things that end up” being meaningful, writes social scientist Joseph Grenny, “have come from conference workshops, articles, or online videos that began as a chore and ended with an insight. My work in Kenya, for example, was heavily influenced by a Christian Science Monitor article I had forced myself to read 10 years earlier. Sometimes, we call things ‘boring’ simply because they lie outside the box we are currently in.”

If you were to come up with a punchline to a joke about the Monitor, that would probably be it. We’re seen as being global, fair, insightful, and perhaps a bit too earnest. We’re the bran muffin of journalism.

But you know what? We change lives. And I’m going to argue that we change lives precisely because we force open that too-small box that most human beings think they live in.

The Monitor is a peculiar little publication that’s hard for the world to figure out. We’re run by a church, but we’re not only for church members and we’re not about converting people. We’re known as being fair even as the world becomes as polarized as at any time since the newspaper’s founding in 1908.

We have a mission beyond circulation, we want to bridge divides. We’re about kicking down the door of thought everywhere and saying, “You are bigger and more capable than you realize. And we can prove it.”

If you’re looking for bran muffin journalism, you can subscribe to the Monitor for $15. You’ll get the Monitor Weekly magazine, the Monitor Daily email, and unlimited access to CSMonitor.com.

Another good question is about the type of pumpkins they have available. Below are my tips for choosing the type of pumpkin you need. You may also want to ask if there will be food available or places to eat if you want to bring your own family picnic .

How to Choose A Pumpkin

There are three main types of pumpkins: carving, gourds, and baking or pie pumpkins. The type of pumpkin you need will depend on what you will do with it.

You will want to ensure the pumpkin patch you visit has the type of pumpkin you want. Will you be carving, decorating, baking, or using pumpkins for the educational activities listed in the next section?

If you want to make homemade pumpkin puree , you will want to choose a small 8 to 10-inch sugar pumpkin. Sugar pumpkins are sweeter than other pumpkins and have been developed for eating. Look for a firm pumpkin with no soft spots or signs of any rot. A few more pumpkin recipe ideas are listed below.

If you are carving your pumpkins or decorating them in some way, look for a visually appealing pumpkin without any soft spots or signs of rot. Choose a pumpkin with a stem and ensure it sits how you want it to when placed on a flat surface.

You will also want to choose a color and shape that will work for the design you have in mind. Pumpkin carving ideas and no-carve decorating ideas can be found below.

Make sure to grab an extra pumpkin or two to try some fun pumpkin activities for kids listed in the next section!

Cool article for pumpkin patches. You mentioned you should try to find out if the pumpkin patch has pumpkins you are looking for. It sounds important to research different types of pumpkins before hand so you have a better idea of what you should look for.

' src=

Yes, it is Taylor.

I think most pumpkin patches that are open to the public have carving pumpkins available. But if you are looking for pumpkins to bake with it is important to make sure the pumpkin patch has sugar pie pumpkins!

' src=

This is a really good idea. We have just concluded a month long unit study on Halloween and pumpkins today. As part of the unit study, I took the twins to a pumpkin patch and read stories about pumpkins as well. We even had our own version of a culinary bake off with pumpkins. And we did some math related to pumpkins too. I even had the children participate in some fun science experiments that revolved around pumpkins.

To wrap things up, I finished by allowing both kids to do some art with pumpkins. Next time I’m going to have them write a recount about their trip to a pumpkin patch. And make a mini fact file. The kids loved it. I made pumpkin soup and pie. We even tried making pumpkin crumble. It was lovely!

Wow, Leah! That sounds like you had an amazing time learning about pumpkins… Well done!

Virtual Pumpkin Patch Field Trip

virtual-pumpkin-patch-field-trip

A Virtual Pumpkin Patch Field Trip is perfect, especially during the fall season. Let’s go on a  trip to a pumpkin patch. A Virtual Pumpkin Patch Field Trip is the BEST fall activity for your students.

Happy Fall Y’all! Here in the south, we love fall. I especially love the fall season and all the fun activities and beautiful weather it brings. I can tell my students do too.  As teachers, we are able to implement so many fun components to our classrooms, standards, and curriculums especially classroom décor and coordinating fall-themed activities. I mean, it’s every teacher’s dream is to find super engaging lessons that are also cute!

Virtual field trips are perfect to implement in the classroom. Whether you are able to take field trips away from school or not, virtual field trips are still a great option and can be implemented in many different ways. You can implement it for Fun Friday or choose a standards-based field trip. Personally, standards-based virtual field trips are my favorite because I feel you get the most bang for your buck.

Students get to experience places and things they otherwise never would, plus the experience is directly related to the standards. Oh wait, I forgot the BEST part...with all the virtual field trips you find here, the work is done for you!

Travel virtually with your students to explore an amazing pumpkin patch in California. The narrator educates students on pumpkin sizes, shapes, and colors. The cool and interesting facts students will learn are directly related to the Pumpkin Patch Virtual Field Trip resource . Students will learn so much about pumpkins. They will learn the life cycle of a pumpkin and learn how a pumpkin grows in all colors, shapes, and sizes. My students also think the life cycle of a pumpkin is interesting and enjoy this unit. If you really want to step up the unit, bake pumpkin seeds for student's to taste. You also can purchase or bake homemade pumpkin pie for student's to try. My students love this tasty treat. When I started incorporating pumpkin pie into this unit, I was very surprised at how many students had never eaten it. It's a cool memory for the first time students taste it to be with their favorite teacher!

Pumpkin Patch Virtual Field Trip Resource

  • 20 Questions Over the Virtual Pumpkin Patch Virtual Field Trip Video (multiple choice)
  • K-W-L Chart
  • Life Cycle of a Pumpkin Chart
  • Life Cycle of a Pumpkin Fill-in-the-Blank
  • Life Cycle of a Pumpkin Color Sheet
  • How to Use Pumpkin
  • Pumpkin Color Sheet

As you can see, everything you need to have an EPIC virtual field trip to the pumpkin patch is included. This resource can be broken up into 1-2 days depending on your schedule. I know you are going to love this experience as much as your students.

Virtual Pumpkin Patch Field Trip Extensions

I wanted to share with you a few suggestions for extensions. If you have a local pumpkin farm, Walmart, or grocery store nearby, ask for donations of pumpkins. You may also ask parents to send in a pumpkin with their child if you have good parent support.  If possible get one for every student. Allow students time to decorate their pumpkin and take it home.

If getting a pumpkin for every student isn’t possible, grab a couple of different shapes and sizes of pumpkins for your classroom. This is great so students can smell and touch the pumpkin. If time allows, cut the pumpkin open so students can see and touch the seeds and guts on the pumpkins.

To go the extra mile, roast pumpkins seeds for your class. You also can order roasted pumpkin seeds from Amazon. Yes, Amazon has everything and I am thankful!

I don't know about you but I love this time of year. The fall season offers so many fun activities that can incorporate inside and outside of the classroom. Student are energized from summer break. I also love the idea of fall festivals, pumpkins, Halloween, Thanksgiving, leading up to Christmas.

Children's Books about Pumpkins

My students love books! I put together a great list of children’s books about pumpkins for you. My students love a good read aloud and the fall season offers so many fun choices that you can relate to content. Click the links below to shop on Amazon or watch a video recording of the read-aloud.

I hope you will implement a virtual pumpkin patch field trip and the other activities mentioned with your students!  They are sure to enjoy participating and making fun memories. I just know your students will enjoy the virtual field trip pumpkin patch as much as mine do!

Enjoy your trip!

Happy Fall Ya'll!

Field Trip Policies & FAQs

  • Must enter as a group. Gather in the Group Holding Area near the front entrance. The group representative checks in.
  • One person pays for the entire group. Individuals paying separately will not receive the group rate.
  • Sheltered lunch/snack area reservations for weekday field trips are available on request.
  • We hold schedules as close as possible to the requested time. However, this depends on the group size and registration time.
  • Only weekday field trips are allowed to bring sack lunches/snacks. Outside food is not allowed on weekends.

Bus Driver Clarification

A “bus driver” is an organization transportation employee (must have ID) responsible for driving a 10+ passenger organization vehicle specifically for field trip purposes. (Sorry, parent carpools, although very much appreciated, do not constitute “bus drivers.”) Bus drivers are allowed free entrance into Applejack Pumpkin Patch to enjoy the activities with their students. Bus driver guests (family, friends, etc.) will be expected to pay the general admission fee. The admission fee must be included with the field trip payment to receive the group rate.

Bus Instructions

Please Note: There is only one entrance/exit to the parking lot.

Passenger Drop-Off: When entering the patch parking lot, immediately turn right and drive around to the “Group Holding Area” near the front entrance. If you plan on staying once the passengers have disembarked, continue around the circle towards the entrance and park in line along the east fence (the sign is marked “Bus Parking.”) You are welcome to enter the patch for free (with ID).

Passenger Pick-Up: Take the same route to pick up passengers near the “Group Holding Area” and proceed to the exit.

What is your COVID policy?

Respectful distancing – EXPECTED Hand Sanitizer – AVAILABLE Masks – OPTIONAL PLEASE EMPLOY – common courtesy and good sense.

We do not require masks as this is a mostly outdoor activity, and distancing is easily achieved. We are leaving it up to the individual groups, schools and families to determine if masks are needed. If the school requires masks, then you probably should continue that on field trips. Applejack outdoor staff will not be required to wear masks. However, several may choose to.

Adjustments we will likely make are limiting the number of participants on certain activities at a time, and cleaning frequently touched areas more often (we already had that going for us). It will be up to the individual to employ respectful distancing when waiting. It will be up to parents (responsible adults) to decide which activities they will allow their child to participate in/on.

Guests who are sick or show symptoms of illness should not participate. If not ready/able to venture out, you are welcome to purchase pumpkins to make your own mini patch at your school/business/home. Contact us for pricing, payment and pick-up.

How long are the field trips?

Allow at least two hours for your field trip plus additional time if you plan on lunch or snacks during your visit.
