Sekilas Tentang Pulau Pagang

Dibanding pulau-pulau lainnya yang ada di Pesisir Selatan, Pulau Pagang ini lebih kecil, karena luasnya hanya 10 hektar. Namun Anda justru lebih enak untuk menjelajahinya, jadi tidak terlalu lelah.

Pohon kelapa tampak mendominasi pulau ini. Ada juga hutan yang masih alami di sini, yang membuat Pagang jad tampak teduh.

Mengapa dinamakan Pagang? Menurut legenda, kabarnya dulu ada suatu kaum yang tinggal di area Tarusan. Kaum itu mengalami konflik internal sehingga beberapa keluarga di sana jadi terpisah-pisah.

Sebagian besar keluarga yang termasuk ke dalam kaum tersebut akhirnya malah pergi ke pulau Pasumpahan dan pulau-pulau sekitar.

Setelah konfliknya mereda, keluarga yang ada di pulau Pasumpahan sudah berkembang. Ada yang memutuskan kembali ke kampung halamannya dan ada yang tetap tinggal di Pasumpahan.

Karena sudah terpisah-pisah, mereka lalu sepakat untuk berkumpul dan bertemu kembali di sebuah pulau yang tak jauh dari Pulau Pasumpahan.

Pulau itulah yang diberi nama Pagang, yang berarti berkumpul atau bertemu (berpagangan). Pulau inilah yang kemudian menyatukan satu keluarga besar sebuah kaum, yang lama terpisah-pisah.

Di pulau ini juga, di era setelah kemerdekaan Indonesia, di tahun 1945, pulau ini menjadi tempat pembinaan sebagian narapidana LP Muaro Padang. Hingga kini pulau itu resmi menjadi objek wisata.

Fasilitas Pulau Pagang

Berbicara mengenai fasilitas, secara keseluruhan pihak pengelola telah menyediakan sarana dan prasarana yang cukup lengkap untuk memenuhi kebutuhan para wisatawan yang datang.

Pulau Pagang - Padang Tour Package 3 Days 2 Nights - Asia Medan Travel

DAY 01: PULAU PAGANG – PADANG (MS, MM) Welcome to Minangkabau International Airport. You will be greeted by our representatives and then taken on a tour to Carolina Bungus Beach, where you will board a boat to Pulau Pagang. The boat journey takes about 45 minutes. Upon arrival at Pulau Pagang, you will have free time to enjoy the beautiful white sandy beach and engage in activities like snorkeling. Lunch will be provided at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, around 4 PM, you will be transferred back to Carolina Bungus Beach. The tour continues to the old harbor of Teluk Bayur, where you can enjoy the sunset from the ship while surrounded by the monkeys of Gunung Meru. Once in Padang, you will have dinner and explore the city at night, visiting places like Kampung Cina, Padang Beach, and the beautifully lit Siti Nurbaya Bridge. You will then check in to your hotel and rest.

DAY 02: PADANG – BATU SANGKAR + BUKIT TINGGI (MP, MS, MM) After breakfast and checking out of the hotel, you will head to Lembah Anai, a tourist area on the way to Bukit Tinggi. Here, you will enjoy the beauty of the Anai Waterfall. The journey continues for about 30 minutes to Minang Village, where you can learn about Minangkabau culture and even try on traditional clothing for a photo opportunity. Lunch will be provided at a local restaurant. After lunch, you will visit Danau Singkarak, the largest lake in West Sumatra known for its Ikan Bilih fish. The tour then proceeds to Batu Sangkar, where you will visit attractions like Istana Pagaruyung, Batu Basurek, Batu Batikam, and Batu Ampek Angkek. In the evening, you will arrive in Bukittinggi and check in to your hotel. Dinner will be provided, and you will have free time.

DAY 03: BUKIT TINGGI – MANINJAU – AIRPORT TRANSFER (MP, MS) After breakfast and checking out of the hotel, you will explore Bukit Tinggi's city attractions, including Ngarai Sianok, Jam Gadang, Lobang Jepang, Pasar Atas, Benteng Vor de Kock, and the unique Great Wall of Koto Gadang, also known as Janjang Koto Gadang. Lunch will be provided at a local restaurant. After lunch, you will head to Desa Embun Pagi to enjoy the breathtaking view of Lake Maninjau from a high vantage point. Finally, you will be transferred to the airport for your onward journey. The tour concludes with our gratitude for choosing our services, and we hope you had a satisfying experience.

Pada sore hari kembali ke Pantai Carolina Bungus untuk mengunjungi pelabuhan lama Teluk Bayur guna menikmati keindahan sunset serta bercengkerama dengan monyet-monyet Gunung Meru . Setelah selesai menikmati sunset, anda akan diantar untuk makan malam di restoran lokal dan city tour mengunjungi Kota Tua , Pantai Padang , dan Jembatan Siti Nurbaya .

Kemudian perjalanan dilanjutkan menuju ke Ngarai Sianok , ngarai ini merupakan sebuah lembah curam yang memanjang dan berkelok sebagai garis batas kota dari selatan ngarai Koto Gadang sampai ke nagari Sianok Anam Suku, dan berakhir di kecamatan Palupuh. Setelah makan siang di restoran lokal langsung diantar untuk berbelanja oleh-oleh dan langsung diantar ke bandara untuk melanjutkan perjalanan kembali ke kota asal.

Pulau Pagang menawarkan keindahan pasir putih sepanjang pantai yang sungguh menggoda. Luas Pulau Pagang sekitar 12 hektare.

Air lautnya tenang dan jernih membuat siapa saja yang melihat ingin segera menceburkan diri ke laut.

Pohon rindang yang terdapat disekitar pantai juga dapat digunakan untuk tidur sambil bermalas-malasan. Terlebih pada saat siang, sinar matahari tidak terlalu panas.

Pulau Pagang juga memiliki bukit yang terletak di ujung pulau untuk melihat pemandangan dari ketinggian.

Aktivitas Pulau Pagang

Ada beragam aktivitas yang dapat dilakukan pengunjung, antara lain:

Pantai dengan air jernih menjadi tempat nyaman untuk snorkeling.

Aktivitas berenang juga dapat dilakukan di ujung pulau yang memiliki air laut berwarna biru cerah.

Pasir putih di dasar laut tampak memantul menandakan di dasarnya tidak terlalu dalam.

Pengunjung juga dapat memanfaatkan area camping ground yang disediakan oleh pengelola, untuk menikmati alam lebih dekat.

• Mendaki bukit

Pulau juga memiliki gundukan setinggi tujuh hingga delapan meter yang dapat didaki tidak sampai 10 menit.

Dari puncak bukit kecil tersebut, pemandangan pulau akan terlihat lebih lepas.

Jika Anda ingin mendaki bukit yang lebih menantang, ada jalur menuju puncak bukit setinggi 37 meter yang berada di belakang pulau.

Sumatera Barat memiliki ciri khas dataran tinggi di bagian timur dan berbatasan dengan laut lepas Samudera Hindia di sebelah barat. Beberapa hal yang menjadi daya tarik dari bagian barat provinsi ini adalah banyaknya pulau indah dan pantai yang "ramah". Salah satunya adalah Pulau Pagang.

Banyak fakta dan informasi menarik seputar Pulau Pagang yang bisa menjadi referesi kamu sebelum memutuskan traveling ke sini. Simak di bawah ini enam faktanya!

1. Snorkeling menjadi daya tarik utama

Pulau Pagang terletak di Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan, Sumatera Barat. Kamu bisa memulai perjalanan ke sana dari Kota Padang dengan jarak menuju lokasi sekitar 40 km. Kemudian dilanjutkan dengan menyeberang ke pulau dari Bungus.

Snorkeling adalah salah satu hal yang wajib kamu lakukan saat traveling ke pulau seluas 12 hektare ini. Air lautnya tenang dan berwarna biru jernih, terumbu karangnya terawat dan indah dipandang mata serta ikan-ikan seperti grouper fish , clown fish , pari totol biru hingga butterfly fish siap menemani kamu berenang ke sana ke mari.

2. Selain snorkeling, banyak aktivitas seru yang bisa dijajal

Untuk kamu yang gak berani snorkeling, Pulau Pagang tetap layak menjadi destinasi pilihan saat musim liburan tiba. Ada pilihan atraksi lain yang bisa kamu jajal seperti jetski, banana boat, donat boat juga tersedia di sini.

Menariknya, sekadar berenang di bibir pantai pun sangat mengesankan karena kamu bisa mengapung layaknya di Laut Mati berkat kadar garamnya yang cukup tinggi. Selain itu, bukit 37 mdpl yang menjadi daratan tertinggi Pulau Pagang pun menjadi ikonik karena banyak yang melakukan trekking hingga menyaksikan keindahan Pulau Pagang dari ketinggian.

3. Sejarah Pulau Pagang

Pohon kelapa di Pulau Pagang bukan sekadar simbol tropis, melainkan mengandung nilai sejarah. Pasca merdeka 1945, pulau ini dijadikan lokasi pembinaan para napi Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Muaro Padang. Penanaman kelapa tersebut adalah cara pengelola napi dalam membina para tahanan. Diharapkan jika sudah kembali ke masyarakat para napi tersebut memiliki keterampilan yang bisa diterapkan dan dikembangkan dalam berkehidupan.

Beberapa dekade berakhir, lembaga pembinaan tersebut tak lagi menjadikan Pulau Pagang sebagai lahan pembinaan. Namun karena Pulau Pagang cukup terawat dan suguhan alamnya indah, dijadikanlan pulau ini sebagai lokasi wisata.

Maka dari itu, mitigasi pun tetap dilakukan oleh pengelola agar meminimalisir korban jika terjadi bencana yang tak disangka-sangka. Puncak tertingginya yang berada di ketinggian 37 mdpl adalah lokasi evakuasi jika terjadi bencana. Di bukit tersebut pula dibangun posko penanggulangan bencana yang terhubung dengan Pusat Pengendalian Operasi BNPB Kota Padang.

6. Akses dan biaya menuju Pulau Pagang

Menuju Pulau Pagang bisa dilalui dengan naik kapal dari tiga lokasi berbeda, yakni dari Sungai Pisang, Dermaga Muaro Padang, dan Bungus. Tarif yang kamu keluarkan pun cukup bervariatif jika berkunjung ke sini meliputi:

Trans-Siberia route is one of the most epic journey ones must have put in their wish list. We will start our adventure from St Petersburg, Russia to Ulaan Bator, Mongolia. Given the limited 15 days, it is in our best interest to spend more time and explore this few chosen cities in depth and not just spend our time in the long train ride and just touch and go in any cities.

We will visit Russia’s 3 Capital cities: Saint Petersburg, Moscow and Kazan, and also explore the jewel of Siberia, Lake Baikal while it has frozen. Longest train rides  will be between Kazan and Irkutsk with stops in 3 Ural/Siberia cities: Ekaterinburg, Novosibirsk and Krasnoyarsk. Last city will be in Ulaan Bator, Mongolia where we will visit the national park and experience a nomadic life style.

This trip is in winter. Expect weather as low as -20 degree Celsius. It will be once in a life time adventure but not for the faint hearted. We assure you will have a nice bed in 4 stars hotel in the cities that we stay overnight. Except for a night in a Ger camp in Mongolia.

Our train ride will be in second class cabin by default. Participants may upgrade or downgrade to first class cabin at extra or discounted fare.

• Lake Baikal is situated in Siberia, Asia region just north to Ulaan bator, Mongolia
• Due to western sanction on Russia, Visa or Mastercard are not working in Russia. Participants will need to bring enough cash or open an UnionPay Card account with public bank or OCBC bank in Malaysia prior. UnionPay payment system does work in Russia to withdraw money or make cashless payment. Union pay stop working since July 2023
• You will stay in a 4 stars hotel in in all cities and 1 night in a Ger camp to experience the nomadic lifestyle in Mongolia
• All transportations during the trip are private transport.
• Winter in this area can be as low as -20 degree but dry condition.
• We recommend you to buy your own flights based on our flight recommendation details provided later. Or else, we can assist you to buy the air tickets too.

Yes. We will gladly arrange for single room for your stay. But, if you prefer to have a room mate, we will match and assign another solo traveler of the same gender.

What is cancellation policy?

Cancellation & Refunds No refunds will be given if booking is cancelled less than 45 days from date of departure. 50% refunds from what remained will be given if booking is cancelled no less than 45 days from date of departure. The deposit is non-refundable, but shall be contra as deposit for any other trip within the same year only.

Riding the Metro with Lena was a real adventure and a lot of fun. In Saint Petersburg we found Anna well versed in the history of the Tsars and in the Hermitage collection. Arkady in Veliky Novgorod was a very good guide and answered all of our questions with ease. Novgorod was perhaps a long way to go for a day trip, but we did enjoy it. Vasily was a great driver to have and kept us safe with good humour and skill. We enjoyed ourselves so much, my daughter says she is already planning to return. We would both have no hesistation to recommend ExpresstoRussia to anyone we know.

Just wanted to let you know that My grandson Bruno and I couldn´t have been more pleased with our week in Moscow (6/15 - 6/21). We were absolutely enchanted with the whole experience, including getting lost a couple of times in the Metro during our free time. Although both our guides (both Eleanas) were excellent, I would particularly commend the first one (she took us to the Tatiakov, the KGB tour, and to that beautiful cemetery where so many great Russian artists, authors, composers, musicians, militarists, and politicians are buried). Her knowledge is encyclopedic; and her understanding of today´s Russia as a product of its past was, for us, truly enlightening. I will be taking another tour in Russia, with my wife, within the next two or three years. I will be in touch with you when the time comes. Meanwhile, I will refer you to other potential visitors to Russia as I meet them.

Do they speak English in Moscow?

As Russia’s capital city, tourists are well accommodated in Moscow. There should be English-speaking staff in restaurants, bars, hotels, shops and attractions in tourist hotspots, and there are also English-speaking tourist police. Transport services have English translations on their maps and English announcements via intercom; alternatively, order taxis from the Yandex Taxi app (Russian Uber), though it’s unlikely that your taxi driver will speak English. If you get stuck and cannot communicate, it’s fine to use Google Translate.

Is it safe to travel to Moscow?

It is no less safe to travel to Moscow than to any European city if you exercise common sense and look after your belongings. As with every city some regions can be more unsavoury than others, but no tourist attractions are located there. The traffic in Moscow is notorious, so exercise caution when crossing roads. Do not take unlicensed taxis; book in advance or take public transport, which is widespread and perfectly safe. If you encounter any problems, look for the special tourist police who can help you.
