Two Southeast Asian nations, Cambodia and Vietnam both hold a special place in every traveller's heart. While Ho Chi Minh City during the Vietnam trip boasts impressive French colonial architecture and the Vietnamese War Museum, Siem Reap in Cambodia is home to the famous Angkor Wat temple complex. As for the capital cities, both Phnom Penh and Hanoi offer astounding restaurants and sights for travellers to experience.

Southeast Asia Trifecta: Cambodia, Vietnam & Bangkok Vibes

The ceo was very well organised and efficient making the tour run smoothly despite the very intense itinerary. Majority of the group getting stomach bug/ food poisoning was very unfortunate, but not the CEO’s fault, however avoiding that would’ve made the experience even better.

Was a smooth and enjoyable process from start to finish. The tour organizers G Adventures are worth of their platinum rating.

Vietnam and Cambodia - 14 Days. Departure every Saturday from Hanoi Tour

Vietnam and Cambodia - 14 Days. Departure every Saturday from Hanoi

It was a very good tour. Well organised with the flights, transfers, meals and hotels. One of our guides would benefit from more practice with showing around small groups. Besides that one guide, the others were informative, well-organised, and had a good sense of humour. The food was great. I loved learnint the history of each place and seeing the sights. Would have been nice to be given optional tours and experiences at eacb location to try different things and fill-in time.

Spirits Of Vietnam - Cambodia - Thailand In 16 Days Tour

Spirits Of Vietnam - Cambodia - Thailand In 16 Days

It was a trip of 14 days Vietnam, 3 days Kambodscha, 2 days Bangkok. I booked over Secret Escaoes wirh Realistic Asia as guide. In Vietnam I had a great sightseeing experience in Jan 2024. The hotels were solid 3••• Hotels partly needed renovation. Mostly organized tours, were no tour planned for 3 days Hoi An and 3 days Hoi Chi Minh. But ok for relaxing or self organised tours (extra costs). The transfers were always reliabe. The guides very competent and friendly. The trip was not without some trouble because of partly really bad room quality. Rosie from RA gave outstanding support on each issue, responded within 10 minutes or so and fixed it. Big thank you to her and her team. The price wirh 4.200 Euros. One star less only for the hotel quality (Sapa, Ho Chi Minh, Phuket, Bangkok inclusive not very good breakfast)

Cambodia Adventure Tour

Cambodia Adventure

Really brilliant trip that had great excursions and a brilliant tour guide who really helped us on the trip. Jay looked after us all and he was always ready to help when any problems came up but was also very knowledgable on the areas we visited. It was all very organised and we were kept up to date with everything that was happening on the tour. Would highly recommend!

Glimpse Of Indochina In 16 Days (Vietnam,Cambodia,Thailand,Laos) Tour

Glimpse Of Indochina In 16 Days (Vietnam,Cambodia,Thailand,Laos)

In Total the trip was good in that we were able to see a part of the world that we had never and might never again) see. However there were various things that were surprises to us. The fact that it was our responsibility to check in for flights booked by Tour Radar was a surprise and added a level of stress in the midst of the trip that could have been dealt with by advance communication or by Tourradar offering another element to the package which includes a concierge type service which gets boarding passes (ie could use the in country tour guides). Not all hotels had staff that could communicate effectively (if at all) in English which would have made the first days in a city easier . Finding good restaurants, ATMs, drug stores etc. Some of your guides were helpful in providing a lot of that information when they dropped us off at the hotel. Chang our Bangkok guide did not do that and with th e challenges of hotel staff to communicate , our first day or two in Bangkok was the low point of our tour. Also the next day city tour was poorly done and the length of the tour could have been extended a little so the city tour was more comprehensive. Also I am told Thailand is a beautiful country but we saw nothing of the beauty that might have made Thailand famous. We enjoyed the Hare Residence in Siem Reap and would suggest keeping it in the program.. Also Laos was enjoyable , as was the hotel but the only suggestion would be to add or provide the opportunity for a visit to see one of the elephant reserves near to Luang Prabang. A city tour of Na Noi (and Saigon) would have been good to include. We came early so were able to book our own tours in Ha Noi but feel we really did not see Saigon at all. Overall the trip was good. I would suggest (as previously mentioned) a concierge type service for older travellers and maybe expanding the tour groups to 8-10 would make that more cost effective

Cycle Vietnam, Cambodia & Thailand Tour

Cycle Vietnam, Cambodia & Thailand

Our tour with Intrepid was amazing! No details were spared. We were very well taken care of. Our tour guide Seen; with us the entire time, was conscientious, super attentive to our needs, fun, friendly and always available to provide us with ideas, guidance and support. The guides in each country of our journey, especially Lam from Vietnam and So Koom from Cambodia, were very knowledgeable of the history and their cultures. We learned so much from them. The cycling was the best! Bikes were fantastic to ride and all the mechanics took such good care to prepare our bikes each day. There were always plenty of snacks and water along the route with adequate stopping/rest points. Loved it and would highly recommend.

14 Days Vietnam & Cambodia

Overall everything was very good. The hotels were not luxurious but we didn’t expect they would be for the cost of the tour. All transport vehicles were new and looked in good working order. There were a fair amount of stops to local places to buy things which was a bit annoying but we otherwise really enjoyed the tour

There was lots of water and snacks provided for our frequent stops. The daily temperature was in the 90's, hotter than I am accustomed to but the guides made c certain that we were well-hydrated.

Fantastic of Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand in 16 Days - Halong Bay/ Hoi An/ Siem Reap/ Phuket Tour

Fantastic of Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand in 16 Days - Halong Bay/ Hoi An/ Siem Reap/ Phuket

We had a great time travelling through Vietnam Cambodia and Thailand. The day tours were interesting and we especially enjoyed the bike tour in Hanoi and the temples in Siem Reap. Dat was very responsive to help with any questions, concerns we had. We fedback to the team re increased timing for airport transfers which was promptly rectified after running late for our first internal flight. Accommodation in Hanoi, Hoi An and Ho Chi Minh were all in fantastic locations. Accomodation in Cambodia and Phuket required a Tuk tuk to reach the main centres for restaurants etc and would benefit from being more central. Overall we would recommend this trip if your keen for a snapshot of this region, with lots of activity and things to see- we had a great time!

What people love about Cambodia And Vietnam Tours

Thoroughly enjoyed my trip to Vietnam and Cambodia. A diverse and fun packed itinerary with excellent guides ; everything I wanted!
The itinerary was interesting, hotels adequate and in most cases clean. Train ride was tiresome but we put it as life experience. Our CEO, Sita, was very enthusiastic and helpful. We had a great group of mostly older travelers so our needs were similar. We really enjoyed Halong Bay stay. The only change we would suggest was not getting up in the middle of the night to be at Angkor Wat so early. We waited for almost two hours in darkness waiting for sunrise and it wasn't worth it. We were so tired afterwards that we could not really enjoy visiting Angkor Wat temples. The local guides in Vietnam were very hard to understand (maybe find better ones?), so we've missed on some info. Cambodian guides were much better.

Cambodia & Vietnam Experience

26 days | get the ultimate south east asian experience.

The ancient architecture of Siem Reap, Cambodia

Prepare for an epic adventure loaded with ancient sights and natural beauty as you travel from the hustle of Bangkok to the bustle of Hanoi. In Cambodia, call into the ancient temples at Angkor, take on beguiling Phnom Penh and get a taste of Khmer hospitality with a village homestay in Chambok. Then veer into Vietnam to trace its coastline from south to north, visiting the chaotic Ho Chi Minh City all the way up to old-world Hanoi, with historic Hoi An and Hue at its centre. Along the way, revel in the sheer beauty of the landscape, the friendliness of the locals and the social organisations that are providing brighter futures for this region. Oh, and did we mention the food? To die for.

Trip overview

  • Enjoy the guidance of a local expert as you temple-hop around the dazzling Angkor complex – one of South East Asia's premier sites.
  • Confront the sobering but important Khmer history in Phnom Penh, with included visits to the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S21) and the Killing Fields of Choeung Ek.
  • Experience local life during homestays in Chambok in Cambodia and the Mekong Delta and Da Bac in Vietnam. Get to know local families, participate in their activities and enjoy a homestyle meal.
  • Hoi An is another idyllic pocket of Vietnam that's best experienced from the seat of a bike. Take a guided bicycle tour through the rolling countryside and see local life pass you by.
  • Kayak around the limestone karsts and shimmering waters of Lan Ha Bay and help out the locals’ environmental efforts along the way.
  • Lots of time allocated for optional activities means freedom and flexibility, but it does require a level of independence. Only a few meals are included, so mostly you'll find your own (with plenty of suggestions from your leader of course) – a great way to mingle with locals and discover unexpected delights!
  • This trip involves a lot of public transport and some long days of driving, so some patience will go a long way towards your enjoyment here. Sit back, relax, watch the scenery go by, and embrace travelling like a local. You’ll cover a lot of distance on this trip, including on overnight trains. Amenities are shared and basic, but the experience of rubbing shoulders with the locals makes it all worthwhile. For more about what this experience is like, see our blog post here: https://www.intrepidtravel.com/adventures/what-to-expect-on-an-overnight .
  • You'll be spending three nights with local families on this trip. While the accommodation is shared and basic, this is a great opportunity to connect with the local people, and enjoy some delicious home-cooked meals! Read more about the experiences here: https://www.intrepidtravel.com/adventures/community-based-tourism-vietnam/
  • You will need a basic level of fitness to take part in some experiences on this trip. Your visit to Hoi An includes a bicycle tour of the surrounding countryside. Plus, there is an included hike of up to 10 kilometres (6.2 miles) in the countryside in Da Bac. Good walking shoes are recommended. Please let your booking agent know if you have any concerns. Should you wish to skip the 10-kilometre (6.2 mile) trek, a taxi can be arranged locally for approximately USD 70.
  • You will visit a number of temples on this trip, and this requires modest clothing. Be sure to bring clothes that cover the arms and pants or skirts that go past the knees. A light scarf is also a good idea for covering shoulders and arms when it’s hot.

Sa-wat-dee! Welcome to Bangkok. Your adventure begins with a welcome meeting at 6 pm, where you’ll meet your trip leader and fellow travellers. If you arrive early, you could take a riverboat to Chinatown and explore the crowded streets, uncover the magnificent Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, wander down the tourist mecca of Khao San Road, or indulge in a Thai massage. There is plenty to keep you occupied in this exciting city. After your briefing, why not head out with the group to try some of Bangkok’s famed street food – pad thai anyone?

  • Hotel (1 night)

There are no meals included on this day.

  • Bangkok - Grand Palace - THB500
  • Bangkok - Wat Pho - THB300
  • Bangkok - Thai Massage - THB250
  • Bangkok - Jim Thompson's House - THB200

It’s very important that you attend the welcome meeting as we will be collecting insurance details and next of kin information at this time. If you are going to be late, please let your travel agent or hotel reception know. Ask reception or look for a note in the lobby for more information on where the meeting will take place.

Prepare for a long day of travel as you cross Thailand and enter Cambodia today. Your leader will be on-hand to assist with the border procedures. When you arrive, enjoy a free evening to explore this small but bustling town. You may want to head to Pub Street to grab a bite to eat and sample the city’s nightlife. Or, maybe just rest up in preparation for tomorrow’s visit to Angkor Wat.

  • Guest House (1 night)

Your travel time today will be approximately 10 hours, including the border crossing and breaks. Keep in mind, if you’re planning on getting your visa at the border, you’ll need cash in US dollars and a passport photo.

If you prefer to avoid traveling by bus, you’re welcome to book a flight between the two cities instead. This flight will be at your own expense, however, Intrepid can assist with Airport transfers where required. Your trip will begin with a Thai trip leader who will escort you to the Thai side of the border, where you’ll say farewell before going through immigration unaccompanied. Once exiting immigration, you’ll be met by one of our Cambodian trip leaders who will escort you on. All our trip leaders have been briefed to ensure this is a simple and smooth process.

Today you'll visit the incredible Angkor complex with your guide. If you’re keen, this place is best seen at sunrise, so you can get up super early and head to the complex on your own before your included tour. With your group, you’ll hop on the Remork-moto (Cambodian Tuk-tuk) with an all-female crew from Drivers Srey, whose mission is to support local women with sustainable income to support their families – this will be your transport at Angkor Wat today. With a knowledgeable local guide, you’ll be able to make the most of your visit to the world-famous Angkor complex, built between the 9th and 13th centuries when the Khmer Empire was the pre-eminent influence in Southeast Asia. The ruins are scattered over some 160 square km – the biggest religious monument in the world! Thankfully, the central cluster of temples is close to Siem Reap, so you'll have plenty of time to fully appreciate the main archaeological sites, including Angkor Wat – the astounding main temple, Bayon – a marvel of many sculpted decorations and Ta Prohm – a series of smaller temples covered in tree roots and jungle. Your guide will add to your experience by bringing ancient history to life with their extensive knowledge of the site.

  • Siem Reap - One day Angkor Pass
  • Siem Reap - Angkor Temples Guided Tour

A single-day Angkor Pass is included on this tour. If you'd like to return to Angkor outside of your included visit today, you can buy a longer pass. Just ask your leader in advance.

Today, enjoy a free morning in Siem Reap (if Angkor is calling you back, maybe get up early and catch the sunrise) before travelling to Battambang – Cambodia's second-largest city. Battambang (pronounced Battambong) is a riverside town of French elegance, Khmer people and beautifully preserved architecture. The city is famous for its many statues of animals and divinities that decorate the streets and buildings. The city lacks the traffic of Phnom Penh and the visitor numbers of Siem Reap, so it’s a great place to get a real, authentic slice of Cambodia. When you arrive, follow your leader on an orientation walk to familiarise yourself with the town. Then, enjoy some free time. Tonight, maybe walk along the riverfront where locals indulge in yoga and folk dancing, and watch the sunset.

  • Battambang - Leader-led orientation walk

Your travel time today will be approximately 4 hours.

There are lots of optional activities you can choose from today – just ask your trip leader will for advice. If you’re feeling active, maybe hop on a bike or take a tuk-tuk tour to the countryside to learn about rural life. Maybe take part in a cooking class and try your hand at some Khmer cuisine. Or, you might like to visit the hilltop Wat Banan temple, offering 360-degree panoramic views over the Sang Ke River.

  • Battambang - Countryside tour of local producers - USD29
  • Battambang - Cooking class in a local home - USD12
  • Battambang - Phnom Sampov bat caves - USD15

Travel by private vehicle into rural Cambodia this morning, to the region of Kampong Speu and the village of Chambok. A member of the Chambok community will take you on a village walk when you arrive – chat about the community’s history, lifestyle and local ecotourism projects and meet the families you’ll be spending the night with. In the evening, head to the community centre to enjoy a local Khmer dinner prepared by some community members. You'll also be treated to a traditional dance performance.

  • Homestay (1 night)
  • Chambok - Traditional dancing
  • Chambok - Homestay and activities
  • Chambok - Khmer Dinner

Your travel time today will be approximately 7 hours.

Your group will stay in one room in multi-share homestay accommodation. Depending on the group size, you may use two homes located close to each other. There will be a thin mattress on the floor, a pillow, a mosquito net and a towel for each traveller. Bathroom facilities will be shared and will often consist of a squat toilet and a cold water washing area.

Morning after breakfast, trek to stunning Chambok waterfall, if the weath's righ before jumping on a private bus this morning and drive to Kampot – one of Cambodia's most attractive old towns. Renowned for its pepper, Kampot supplied most French restaurants with this vital spice for many years during colonial rule. Today, the region is well-known for its plantations of durian – a spiky, pungent fruit that you either love or hate (try one and decide for yourself). In your free time this afternoon, maybe stroll along the riverside and observe the French architecture, or have a cup of coffee on the veranda of one of the riverside restaurants and admire the view of the Bokor Mountain Range.

  • Kampot - Leader-led orientation walk
  • Kampong - Chambok Watefall Trek
  • Kampot - Sunset cruise (join-in) - USD5

Your travel time today will be approximately 3 hours.

Enjoy a free day in this chilled-out town. For a unique photo opportunity, head to the roundabout in the centre of the town, where a giant durian statue sits smack in the middle. Then, maybe browse for goodies at the covered market. The nearby countryside is also a delight to explore – among fields of Kampot pepper and rice there’s also a salt field and a limestone cave with a small seventh-century brick temple inside called Phnom Chhnork. Otherwise, why not have a relaxing day and enjoy one of the highly recommended traditional massages?

  • Kampot - Phnom Chhnork - USD1
  • Kampot - Kep National Park hike - USD1
  • Kampot - Khmer massage - USD5

Leave Kampot in your dust this morning and travel by local bus to the capital city of Phnom Penh. Cambodia's capital is set on a major junction of the Mekong and Tonle Sap rivers and boasts some fine examples of French-inspired architecture. Perhaps spend your free afternoon visiting the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda. Wat Phnom, shrouded in myth, is equally worth a visit, as is the National Museum with its excellent Khmer collection. Cyclo tours around the city are a great alternative to walking and generally include the art deco Psar Thmei (Central Market), US Embassy, Wat Phnom, Mekong riverfront, Independence Monument and Royal Palace.

Today you’ll have the opportunity to learn more about Cambodia's tragic past on a guided tour of Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S21) and the Killing Fields of Choeung Ek – two sites that tell the story of the tragic legacy of the Khmer Rouge. After this, the afternoon is free for you to explore further. If you're looking to relax, the Seeing Hands massage parlours are some of the best in the city, and all visits support the staff who all have visual impairments. Their years of expertise may be just what you need today after a busy couple of days!

  • Phnom Penh - Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S21)
  • Phnom Penh - Killing Fields of Choeung Ek

The stories shared at the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S21) and Killing Fields of Choeung Ek are confronting, and many travellers will find them upsetting. This is an important part of Cambodia's recent history that’s important to share, however, if you would prefer not to join in, your leader will be able to suggest alternatives.

Travel by local bus from Phnom Penh to Ho Chi Minh City. Your leader will again assist you with border crossing procedures and you’ll stop for lunch. When you arrive, get out and discover Ho Chi Minh City's blend of old and new, east and west, and be sure to sample a baguette or some of the excellent coffee on offer – both markers of the city's strong French influence. Tonight, maybe hit one of the hole-in-a-wall bars and explore the nightlife. Ask your leader for the best restaurants and bars in the area to toast to a trip well-travelled.

Xin chao! Welcome to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Your adventure begins with a welcome meeting at 6 pm today. As you won’t be spending much time in Ho Chi Minh City, we recommend arriving a few days early to see more of this fascinating city. See the ancient pagodas and cathedrals near the former Presidential Palace, historic Dong Khoi Street, and the chaotic markets of Ben Thanh and Cholon (Chinatown).

  • Ho Chi Minh City - Cu Chi Tunnel Experience Urban Adventure - USD45
  • Ho Chi Minh City - Ho Chi Minh Mekong Discovery Urban Adventure - USD63

It’s very important that you attend the welcome meeting as we will be collecting insurance details and next of kin information at this time. If you are going to be late please let your travel agent or hotel reception know. Ask reception or look for a note in the lobby for more information on where the meeting will take place.

This morning, head away from the city and make your way to the province of Ben Tre, where you’ll get on a boat to tour the canals of the Mekong Delta. This fertile area is famous for its abundance of fruit, flower and rice crops, and is known as the ‘rice bowl’ of Vietnam. During your boat ride you’ll visit some cottage industries along the river before heading to your guesthouse. Tonight's homestay, close to the delta and hosted by a Vietnamese family, will be one of the highlights of your trip, giving you a taste of community life as well as the chance to enjoy a traditional home-cooked meal.

  • Mekong Delta - Boat Cruise, Lunch and Homestay

Facilities at the guesthouse are basic and can vary as we stay with several different families. We sleep on camp beds in a communal room for all members of the group. Bedding and mosquito nets are provided. Your guesthouse will be located near the Mekong, but may not be on the banks of the river itself.

Rise early to the sounds of the river coming alive, and enjoy a simple breakfast before boarding the boat back down the delta and catching a bus back to Ho Chi Minh City. Enjoy some free time in Ho Chi Minh City this afternoon, perhaps with a visit to the War Remnants Museum or Reunification Palace. If you haven’t already, head to Ben Thanh Market for some delicious street food, colourful shopping and even more colourful characters. This evening, board an overnight train bound for Danang. Trains are a common form of transport in Vietnam, so sit back and relax into this local experience.

  • Overnight sleeper train (1 night)
  • Ho Chi Minh City - Reunification Palace - VND40000
  • Ho Chi Minh City - War Remnants Museum - VND40000

There are shared day use hotel rooms available this afternoon if you would like to freshen up before the overnight train. There is one room provided to share between up to six members of the group. Single supplements do not apply to day use rooms.

Sleeper trains typically have four- or six-berth compartments with bench seats that convert into sleeping bunks. A sheet, pillow and blanket are provided, although some travellers prefer to bring their own sleeping sheet. Depending on the configuration of the group, you may have to share with people of different genders or passengers who aren’t part of the group. Your leader will coordinate and give further information on the trip. Most trains have a dining carriage serving simple food, but we recommend that you stock up on snacks and drinks before departure.

Arrive in Danang by train and travel by minibus for approximately 1 hour to Hoi An, a UNESCO World Heritage Centre that continues to undergo restoration work today. It was a major trading port with the West from the 17th century. Today, parts of Hoi An look exactly as they did more than a century ago. Your leader will take you on a sightseeing walk through the Old Town and visit some of the city's major attractions. A sightseeing pass is included in your tour so you can visit a selection of the major sights. Hoi An is also a shopping mecca, so head down to the markets and street stalls to browse paintings, woodwork, ceramics and lanterns. It’s also famous for its tailors who can make beautiful items to order, and with almost three full days here you have the chance to have some unique pieces whipped up.

  • Hoi An - Old Town walking tour
  • Hoi An - Food Adventure Urban Adventure - USD44

Wake up for a free morning to do as you please. It’s a great opportunity to take a trip out to the My Son temples – a World Heritage-listed site constructed between the 4th and 14th centuries that reflects the rich cultural traditions of the Cham civilisation. In the afternoon, swap walking for cycling with a bike ride through the countryside near Hoi An. There's no better way to explore the peaceful area than on two wheels. You’ll see places few tourists get the chance to see among the green rice paddies and small creeks, which will give you a true insight into rural life in Vietnam.

  • Hoi An - Countryside bicycle hire
  • Hoi An - Private Hoi An: My Son Discovery - USD77

As bicycle helmets aren't a legal requirement in Vietnam, it's possible that helmets won't be available for today's included activity. If you would like to be guaranteed a helmet, we recommend you bring one with you. We are working with our local operators to ensure helmets are available in the future.

You’ve got another day to explore this historic haven. Perhaps book in your final tailoring fitting this morning to make sure the threads you’re getting made fit like a glove, or hire a bike for a lazy ride out to the South China Sea to relax on An Bang or Cua Dai beach. Hoi An is also known for its great food, so you could book yourself in for a cooking class to take some culinary secrets away with you. Most tours include a trip to the local food markets, and some take you on a short boat journey along the Thu Bon River. Let your local leader know what you're into and they will be able to recommend some activities to suit.

  • Hoi An - Cooking class - USD33

Bid farewell to Hoi An this morning and make your way to Hue. The drive in a private vehicle will take around 5 hours. You’ll be travelling on the incredible Hai Van Pass, through lush mountains and past scenic lookouts, and there’ll be some good places for a photo stop. Once in Hue, you’ll have a free afternoon to explore. Hue was once Vietnam’s imperial capital and has a curious mix of bustling streets and tranquil enclaves. Perhaps visit the Dong Ba Market, which sells everything imaginable and is a great place to spend some time. It’s important to know that Hue is renowned for its cuisine, with some delicious dishes originating from this region, including bun bo hue (Hue’s delicious take on pho), and banh khoai (a filled turmeric crepe). Time to give your tastebuds a workout.

Enjoy a free day in Hue. Perhaps visit the Imperial Citadel which includes the Forbidden Purple City that was almost totally destroyed during the Vietnam War. The gaping holes left by bombs give you an idea of how much destruction occurred in this country. If you'd rather take to the water, hop on a dragon boat cruise along the Perfume River and then visit Thien Mu Pagoda – the unofficial symbol of Hue. Here you’ll see an active Buddhist monastery dating back to 1601 and a car belonging to the monk who tragically set himself alight in public to protest against the treatment of Buddhists. You may also like to visit one of the royal tombs, that of Emperor Tu Duc, with its central lake set amid a grove of frangipani and pine trees. This evening, take another overnight train bound for Hanoi. The journey will take approximately 12 hours.

  • Hue - Imperial City Full Day Tour - USD69
  • Hue - Thien Mu Pagoda - Free
  • Hue - Emperor Tu Duc's Tomb - VND105000
  • Hue - Highlights & back streets by motorbike (without lunch) - USD23
  • Hue - Highlights & back streets by motorbike (with lunch) - USD28

Arrive in Hanoi at about 5 am and transfer to your hotel. Once you’ve dropped off your bags and freshened up, embark on a walking tour of Vietnam’s charming capital. Explore the 36 streets of Hanoi’s Old Quarter – locally known as this because of each street originally selling a specific type of product. Continue on to the Dong Xuan Market and Hoan Kiem Lake, making sure you check out the unique architecture along the way. Hanoi has a French provincial feel left over from colonial times, but it also has a Buddhist influence and striking modern buildings. The rest of the day is yours to explore Hanoi as you please. In the evening, why not get your group together and head out to a bustling night market for some local fare. Sitting on plastic stools and eating on the roadside is a rite of passage in Vietnam.

  • Hanoi - Old Quarter Walking Tour

Day use rooms are provided on arrival in Hanoi.

Leave Hanoi after breakfast around 8 am and make the drive to Sung Village (approximately 4 hours). There are around 70 families living at Sung Village and the majority are Dzao ‘Tien’ people. Farming and forest plantations are their main source of income. Enjoy lunch at your homestay then take an introductory walk around the village. After getting to know the village better, take a short trek (approximately two kilometres) to the alluring Sung Cave and visit a 100-year-old tea plantation. The trek has some steep and slippery sections so make sure you’ve packed suitable footwear for this activity. After a local handicraft workshop, return to your homestay accommodation for a nice hot shower and a delicious dinner.

  • Da Bac - Homestay and activities
  • Da Bac - Sung Cave hike

Tonight's homestay is shared accommodation, usually with the whole group together in a single room. There are separate beds with clean linen, blankets and mosquito nets provided.

Depending on weather, availability and number of visitors to this region, we may stay overnight at an alternate village. If we do change the village on your departure, your leader will advise you as soon as possible. Trek length and activities may vary, depending on which village you’re staying in. Should this region be completely inaccessible due to weather conditions, we will put an alternative itinerary in place, visiting Mai Chau.

This morning, take the opportunity to encounter more of the Vietnamese highlands on a 10-kilometre (6.2 mi) trek from Sung Village to Da Bia. Trek along well-worn buffalo tracks before gradually inclining. There are some serious steps to climb, but the walk will be at a steady and relaxed pace. Keep an eye out for the monumental stone at the peak of Da Bia Mountain during the hike while you walk through local villages, meeting people from the Muong tribe. Stop for lunch at Da Bia before enjoying a scenic 1.5-hour boat cruise on Hoa Binh hydropower reservoir. Arrive at Thung Nai then board a bus transfer to Hanoi (approximately 2 hours). On the way, visit Vun Art center first, a social enterprise that employs people with disabilities to make art pieces with recycled silk scraps. Then head back to your hotel. This evening is free for you to explore this delightful city. Why not relax with a bia hoi (freshly brewed draught beer) at one of the microbars in the Old Quarter?

  • Da Bac - Sung village to Da Bia hike
  • Da Bac - Hoa Binh Reservoir Cruise
  • Da Bia - Muong Tribe Lunch
  • Hanoi - Vun Art center visit

Comfortable supportive footwear (running shoes) will be suitable for the trek, but you can bring hiking boots if you prefer. The path can be quite slippery if there has been recent rain – your homestay hosts can provide bamboo trekking poles on request. Please ensure you have a 1.5 litre water bottle with you for the trek; we will fill bottles at Sung Village and there are no refill points along the way until we have concluded the trek.

Should you wish to skip the ten-kilometre (6.2 mile) trek, a taxi can be arranged locally for approximately USD 70.

This morning you'll travel by bus and ferry to beautiful Cat Ba Island before midday. There's no time to waste, so begin exploring the stunning waters of Lan Ha Bay around Cat Ba. Located in the greater Halong Bay area, Lan Ha Bay is one of Vietnam’s most scenic places, where limestone islands and caves rise from the emerald waters. You’ll have a free afternoon to explore at your own pace, so perhaps get active on a hike, or just enjoy a dip at one of the beaches. Have a relaxing evening on Cat Ba Island.

This morning, head out on the water from Cat Ba and continue exploring the limestone karst scenery. Take a boat around Lan Ha Bay with an included lunch while you cruise, then get up close and personal with this striking landscape by kayak. There’s the option to have a net on the side of your kayak and help out the locals’ clean-up efforts. This initiative hopes to eliminate the rising amounts of plastic waste in the bay. Lan Ha and Halong Bay are on many travellers' bucket lists, and with two days in the area you’ll get to tick them off yours.

  • Cat Ba Island - Kayaking
  • Cat Ba Island - Boat trip on Lan Ha Bay
  • Cat Ba Island - Lan Ha Bay Lunch

Rise and shine! Perhaps start your morning with a refreshing swim or a Vietnamese coffee (or both). Make sure you soak up as much sun and sand as possible, because this afternoon it's back to Hanoi by ferry and bus. Tonight you may want to head out for an optional dinner with your fellow travellers, sharing some memories and laughs over a local meal and beer.

There are no activities planned for today and you’re able to depart the accommodation at any time after check-out. With so much to see and do in Hanoi, we recommend that you spend an extra day or two here, and we’ll be happy to organise additional accommodation (subject to availability).

4 breakfasts, 4 lunches, 3 dinners

Boat, Overnight sleeper train, Private minibus, Taxi, Tuk tuk, Bicycle

Guesthouse (4 nights), Homestay (3 nights), Hotel (16 nights), Overnight sleeper train (2 nights)

Tour Highlights

Itinerary details.

If you are planning your first trip to Asia, we recommend the great Angkor Wat in Cambodia and the picturesque Vietnam. The trip detailed below connects the two countries but you can adjust the itinerary to suit your needs.

Hotel suggestions: Double Leaf Boutique Hotel / Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra

Welcome to Cambodia. Your guide will escort you to your hotel.

There are not usually any direct flights from the US/Europe to Southeast Asia because of the long journey duration. Many travelers choose to take a layover in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Seoul, Beijing, Shanghai, or Guangzhou. When you search for international flight options, check these layover destinations for reference.

In the morning, your guide will take you to the Royal Palace and the Silver Pagoda in Phnom Penh.

After lunch, you will be taken to two locations that have a tragic history — the Killing Fields of Choeung Ek and the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum. The fields were where the prisoners were held and killed, and the prisoners were not ordinary criminals, such as thieves, but scholars who had an advanced communist ideology. They were arrested in the city and taken to this evil place but they never stopped pursuing the communist ideology.

Hotel suggestions: Tara Angkor Hotel / Shinta Mani Shack

You will take a flight to Siem Reap in the afternoon.

Tomb Raider is a world-famous film and visiting Bayon, a temple, in the afternoon will make you think of the scenes in the movie without any special effects needed. The mysterious atmosphere is created by the old trees around it.

Constructed with sandstone, Banteay Srei is a must-see attraction in the complex of Angkor Wat. The best time to enjoy it is in the early morning when the sunlight is shining on the stone.

After some hours walking in Angkor Thom, which used to be the palace for the kingdoms, a local scholar will walk with you at Angkor Wat and tell you many interesting stories and facts that are not listed in guidebooks. This knowledge will help you to unveil the mystery of Angkor Wat.

Hotel suggestions: Millennium Boutique Hotel / Hotel Grand Saigon

Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City by airplane in the morning.

After your transfer from the airport, you will have a whole afternoon enjoying the city highlights, such as Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica of Saigon, Saigon Central Post Office, Reunification Palace, and An Dong Market. The private tour will provide you with an authentic experience at a comfortable pace.

You will visit a town located in the Mekong Delta, which is 2 hours away from Ho Chi Minh City. On the way, your private tour guide will give a brief introduction to the lifestyle and culture of this region. Later, you will get in a sampan and an experienced local fisherman will row it and show you how to keep away from the obstacles along the canals.

After getting out of the sampan, some local workshops welcome you to the market. You can learn the manufacturing processes of coconut candy, rice wine, and rice paper. Later, you will go to a garden to help the host do some easy work. He will chat with you and you can enjoy many delicious fruits that have already been prepared by the host.

If you would like to experience the locals' lifestyle in the Mekong Delta, this day is ideal for you. We'll handle all the arrangements for your transportation, guides, and tickets. All you need to do is just enjoy your time.

Hotel suggestions: Essence Hoi An Hotel & Spa / Almanity Hoi An Wellness Resort

Take the morning flight to your next wonderful destination — Hoi An. The flight will arrive in Da Nang, from where it takes 40 minutes to reach Hoi An by car.

Your guide will lead you to some key scenic spots, such as the Japanese Covered Bridge, Fujian Assembly Hall, and Old House of Tan Ky in Hoi An.

After lunch, you can go inside the Tran Family Chapel and learn about the lifestyle and history of the family.

Later, you will have a cup of coffee and then you can start your cooking class in Red Bridge Restaurant and Cooking School, which will help you learn how the local Vietnamese make their daily food.

Hotel suggestions: Hanoi Pearl Hotel / InterContinental Hanoi Westlake

Saying goodbye to Hoi An, your guide and driver will escort you from your hotel to Da Nang to catch your flight to Hanoi. Meet your guide in Hanoi and check in at your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to spend at your leisure.

If there is a competition to compare which city is the most attractive in the world, Hanoi will be the winner because of its history and multiple cultures. The people who live there, however, are ordinary and work laboriously.

On this trip, you will visit famous places, such as the Temple of Literature, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, and Hoan Kiem Lake.

In the afternoon, your guide will accompany you to take a cyclo in the Old Quarter to experience authentic Hanoi life. Hanoi's best egg coffee, weird-looking fruits, and ice creams are all highlights there.

Overnight accommodation: Paradise Luxury Cruise / Bhaya Classic Cruise

After enjoying a refreshing breakfast in your hotel, you will be picked up by the shuttle bus arranged by the cruise company and head to Halong Bay. It takes 3–4 hours to drive there depending on the traffic. If you prefer to have a private transfer with an English-speaking guide, just tell your travel advisor.

Board the ship and then your memorable Halong Bay cruise will start. The fishing villages, caves, and kayaking are all highlights there.

In the evening, enjoy your time on the junk under the stars.

After the delicious breakfast on board, you will be transferred to Hanoi and your private tour guide will meet you there. Take your flight back home. We, at Asia Highlights, wish you a pleasant journey!

  • Traffic jam is one of the most terrific things that frighten foreigners first time coming to Vietnam. Riding bikes or motorbikes will be such an unforgettable experience. But the story will be more interesting when you try to cross the roads in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh city. Don’t stop as you cross the busy roads. Frightening as it can be, just keep walking. The traffic will avoid you. Pick a spot across the road, stare at it and keep walking, no matter what.
  • Make a bargain
  • Overcharging is also one of the most alarming problems of foreigners first time traveling to Vietnam as locals always think that foreigners are rich. However, this issue affects considerably the image of Vietnamese people on tourists' eye when they read reviews on the Internet. Therefore, remember to make bargain whatever you buy, please read the reviews carefully to consult the prices, or just contact us for local tips and tricks at Luxury Travel.

Don'ts:

  • Wear a lot of jewelry or show valuables in public, especially when in Ho Chi Minh City.
  • When walking on streets in Vietnam, especially big cities like Ho Chi Minh City, if you wear a lot of jewelry like rings or even make a phone call, you will be a target for pickpockets or robbers. Also when you can't speak Vietnamese, it will be such a challenge to ask people surrounding you to help you.
  • Express the affection of lovers in public.
  • Western culture encourages or allows people to be free to show their love or affection. By contrast, it is impolite in Eastern culture countries, like in Vietnam.  You can see couples holding hands, but they will not kiss when many people can see that. Thus, avoid kissing your friends or lovers in front of other people in public places.
  • Give money to the beggars on the street or tourist attractions.
  • Actually, beggars are sometimes not beggars. There is another way you can help people in difficult circumstances like donating to the charity. Children are exploited to earn money to groups of people. So be aware of that.

There are a lot of things you should and shouldn't do when coming to Vietnam, but don't worry, if you have any query or need local help, please feel free to call us at Luxury Travel to have an affordable, safe and local journey.

Do's in Cambodia

  • Dress modestly
  • It is absolutely fine to get dressed up comfortably, or even sexily if you are about to go to a pub in Siem Reap or at a pool party at a luxury resort. However, things are not the same if you are about to visit the heritages. Leave your shorts, miniskirts, and any other clothes that are above your knees or reveal too much skin at home. Put on a long pant or a long dress, instead.
  • Show cultural respects
  • It is necessary to show your respect for the Cambodian people and culture. Social class is quite notorious here, so pay attention to your etiquette when meeting the elderly or the monks.
  • That Khmer people are hospitable and honest does not mean you won’t be overcharged when shopping in their markets or shops. Bargaining is a must-do in almost all Asian countries, not just Cambodia.

Don'ts in Cambodia

  • Give money to children and beggars on the streets. Many of these people are forced to do that job and would get nothing even when you give them money. All would come into the wallet of their “boss” instead.
  • Talk about sensitive topics. It is never a should to talk about politics or war with Cambodian people. Especially, they really hate mentioning about Khmer Rouge period, so do not bring them to your conversation.
  • Be culture offensive. Many things sound to be exceptionally unrespectful to Cambodian people such as touching someone's head, using the left hand to ON’Tsgive and receive things, pointing your feet to other people or to Buddha's images, pointing your index finger to others, complaining about their country, and so on.
  • Show affection in public. Cambodia is still a conservative society and they tend to avoid interacting with people of the opposite gender when they are in public. Holding hands, hugging, and kissing are unacceptable, too.
  • Drink tap water. Tap water is not clean, so avoid drinking it. You can use bottled water instead

Cruising in Cambodia and Vietnam on a river cruise

If you want to find Cambodia and Vietnam’s actual hidden gems; places where few other tourists have trampled, it’s still possible with a river cruise, writes Nannette Holliday

A long wooden fishing boat putts past, stirring up the already murky Tonlé Sap River water. Sitting in the middle, a child and woman diligently untangle fishing nets in readiness for casting further upstream. The golden sunrise highlights a row of wooden stilt houses standing guard like soldiers on the steep riverbank opposite. The people of Koh Chen are going about their daily chores, oblivious to my intrusion.

I’m lying in my cosy bed, peeking out the large window of my air-conditioned en suite cabin aboard RV Toum Tiou II (TT2), a cute 14-cabin teak and steel-hulled river cruiser. TT2 oozes intimate luxury and old-world charm. My every need is met with a restaurant, bar, and sundeck staffed by friendly Cambodians.

TT2 is the second smallest of the five CF Mekong/Croisi Europe ships that have navigated these waterways since 2002. I’m on their nine-day New Discovery Cruise from Siem Reap, Cambodia, to Saigon, Vietnam.

Meandering upstream towards Kampong Chhnang, the river is a hive of activity, but in a peaceful, non-urgent way. Barges ferry cars, bikes, and people from shore to shore, and hubs of fishing boats dot the shorelines. TT2 sounds its horn only occasionally to warn them to protect their nets as we pass.

These Cambodians remain unfazed by our presence. We’re travelling the less tourist route. Even when we disembark at Kampong Chhnang fishing port, there are no hawkers selling their wares.

Cultural Cambodia

Each daily off-ship activity is included and diverse, offering additional insights into the cultural traditions of the regions we travel through.

Some guests bike 4km through the lush rice fields at Kampong Chhnang. Others relax in an air-conditioned minivan to Andong Reusey Community Village, where artisans work from their homes with unwavering passion.

We watch in amazement as Sophat, a 10th-generation potter, walks around a solid tree stump, patting the clay with her hands and a paddle, miraculously crafting a perfect pot. She’s never used an electric or foot-peddled pottery wheel.

Like an agile monkey, 72-year-old Mr Ry swings between sugar palm trees collecting juice to make palm wine and palm sugar. His 73-year-old wife stirs the palm juice over a large pot on an outdoor fire, turning it into palm sugar, which they sell for US$1.75 (approx. $3) a kilo.

Kampong Chhnang's artisans, including a 10th-generation potter, showcase their crafts without modern machinery. Photo / 123rf

At Kampong Tralach, I ride on an ox cart tray reserved for transporting goods, plodding past pea-green rice fields to Pothi Rokha Ram Pagoda, the oldest in Kampong Chhnang province. Sitting cross-legged, surrounded by deteriorating 18th-century murals painted by Pal and Chea, I listen to an orange-robed monk explain his life before he blesses me.

Mr Ry, 72, toasting his palm wine with the tour guide.

While at Vipassana Dhura Buddhist Meditation Centre in Oudong, Cambodia’s former capital, we talk casually with a nun. It’s inspirational and humbling to learn about her life and what meditation means to her as she washes plates in a plastic bowl under her home at the centre.

The journey offers an array of off-ship activities, including biking through rice fields, ox cart rides, and interactions with monks and artisans. Photo / Nannette Holliday

Tours at Phnom Penh and Ho Chi Minh City cover all the big-ticket palaces, museums, historical sites, entry fees, and some local cafes and restaurants. An English-speaking guide adds local anecdotes to his history repertoire as we comfortably travel by air-conditioned bus amid the city’s hustle and bustle.

Culinary concoctions

Asian cuisine can be equally memorable, especially in various markets. At Oudong, the eye-opening contents include snakeheads, stuffed frogs, and red ants with bananas. Fried crickets and tarantulas dominate Phnom Penh’s huge domed Central Markets, and exotic black eggs, duck embryos, and fried rats lay between traditional Vietnamese foods and tropical fruits at Sa Dec Markets. The intermingled smells of raw meat, seafood, mystery organs, slippery creatures, and ripe fruits are another world.

With all meals included and TT2′s chef preparing bountiful Asian and Western meals from buffet breakfasts to copious three-course lunches, lavish five-course dinners, and even individually chef-cooked offerings, we’re never hungry, and there’s no need to experiment unless these unusual foods are on your wish list.

Visiting Vietnam

Gliding across the border into Vietnam at Vinh Xuong, there’s an eerie shift. The peaceful little Cambodian fishing boats are replaced by massive barges piled high with gravel and export goods, sharing our cruising space on the way to Saigon. Life is hectic. Large factories loom menacingly on one side, juxtaposing intermittent rice fields, fruit plantations, and uncaring cattle on the other.

Three hours later, Chau Doc was a breath of fresh air. A kaleidoscopic border town where Khmer, Chinese , Cham, and Kinh (Vietnamese) communities thrive. It’s as colourful as the floating fishing farms dotting the Hau River’s shores, 250km west of Ho Chi Minh City.

We ride the cable car up sacred Sam Mountain, dotted with pagodas, temples, and caves. At the top, vivid patchwork farm countryside and Vinh Te Canal stretch to the border. In town, thick incense fills the air at Mieu Ba Chua Xu Pagoda. We’re shoulder-to-shoulder with locals praying before the sacred Lady Chau statue, placing baskets of fruit, flowers, and whole pig offerings beside it.

An hour from town at Tra Su Cajuput Forest, a two-person rowboat meanders through waterways, floating over carpets of waterlilies and under towering paperbark trees. This vast natural wetland is home to various birds and animals. A long motorboat then zips to the other end of the forest, delivering us to an observation tower. The panoramic, majestic views of the biodiverse ecosystem are serene. In the hazy distance, I spy Sam Mountain.

Mekong Delta magic

Further into the Mekong Delta estuaries, the hectic Sa Dec riverside markets overflow with people and produce. A short stroll away, we enjoy traditional tea and glazed ginger at Huynh Thuy Le Ancient House, where French author Marguerite Duras lived and set her breathtaking literary novel, The Lover . It’s a treasure trove of nostalgia, antique furniture, stained-glass windows, and painted cement tiles.

My heart sinks when the community project centre appears to be a typical tourist haunt, with souvenirs blanketing the entrance. But behind the facade, locals diligently produce various-flavoured popping corn and rice cakes, cook, wrap, and package coconut candy, bottle rice wine infused with snakes and scorpions, and craft delicate rice paper sheets for those delicious spring rolls we love.

Nearby at Cai Be, the cooking class didn’t pan out as expected. Mercifully, real chefs had prepared a beautiful feast, which was worked off afterwards by bike riding or kayaking around the tropically fruit-laden islet.

Meaning “Beautiful Reed”, My Tho is the largest city and a major port in the bountiful Mekong Delta. Day trips from Ho Chi Minh City are popular, and many buses roll in at 11am as we return to TT2. Minus these tourists, we’ve enjoyed three hours of profound local connections. Some peacefully biking, others wrapped by slithering snakes or safely gliding in sampans along scenic palm-fringed canals, witnessing fruit harvesting and glazed fruit production.

The water highway into Saigon

Over lunch and relaxing drinks, TT2 drifts along Cho Gao Canal, the entrance to Saigon. Close to the shore again, we spy into farmer’s homes, temples, and pagodas. The canal is a water highway servicing more than 2000 commercial ships and barges daily. We’re privileged, as the five CF Mekong River Cruise ships are the only cruise ships to sail this 29km canal connecting Saigon and the Mekong.

Cruising into Vietnam’s lively capital at sunset, we dock at Bach Dang. We have two more nights aboard TT2, complete with city tours, but tonight, five of us have chosen the only optional tour—a Vespa Nightlife Food Tour. The bright two-wheel vintage machines and our drivers are waiting.

The Vespa Nightlife Food Tour in Saigon is an exciting conclusion to the cruise, immersing guests in the city's vibrant food scene.

Four fabulous hours zigzagging amongst the capital’s crazy city traffic, sipping sky-high cocktails, staring at city lights, devouring Saigon’s best banh mi, and a sidewalk seafood banquet with locals, rounded off with a rich hot chocolate nightcap at Maison Marou Saigon.

On the final morning, while sipping my coffee on the peaceful sundeck, I knew the nine-day New Discovery cruise had shown me another world full of authentic activities , countless unique experiences, people interactions, and hidden gems away from the usual tourist offerings.

All restaurant meals aboard, on-land tours, English-speaking guides and Wi-Fi are included. Alcohol is not included. However, a good selection is available and reasonably priced, or you can take your own aboard, and they happily refrigerate. The cruise operates from Siem Reap to Saigon or in reverse.

HANOI: Vietnam on Thursday (April 11) said it is closely following Cambodia's Funan Techo Canal and has asked Cambodia to cooperate and share information regarding this ambitious project connected to the Mekong River.

Responding to queries from reporters for Vietnam's reaction over potential security concerns arising from Cambodia's megaproject, deputy spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Doan Khac Viet on Thursday said: "Vietnam supports the economic and social development needs of Mekong River countries, while also underscoring the importance of enhancing cooperation to effectively and sustainably manage and utilise the Mekong River's water resources."

"Vietnam is very interested in the Funan Techo Canal project and has also proposed that Cambodia "closely coordinate with Vietnam and the Mekong River Commission in sharing information and assessing the impacts of this project on water and people living in the area."

According to information from Cambodia, the US$1.7-billion canal will be approximately 180km long, and pass through four provinces with a total population of 1.6 million people living on both sides, connecting the capital city Phnom Penh with its southern coast (near Kien Giang Province of Vietnam).

The construction of the project by the state-owned China Bridge and Road Corporation (CRBC) is slated to start in the fourth quarter of 2024.

The Mekong River is the longest waterway in South-East Asia, stretching nearly 5,000km from its source on the Tibetan Plateau in China to the Mekong Delta. This river flows through six countries: China, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam, where it empties into the East Sea (known internationally as the South China Sea).

With regard to the question over the series of recent military exercises in the East Sea within short intervals, the foreign ministry's representative said the East Sea is an important sea in the region and in the world.

"Therefore, the maintenance of peace, stability and security, as well as the freedom of navigation and overflight in the South China Sea in line with international law, including the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (Unclos), is the goal, the interest and responsibility of all countries," Viet said.

"Activities of relevant countries in the East Sea must be conducted in accordance with international law, particularly in the 1982 Convention, so as to actively contribute to the realisation of these goals."

Asked about the relations of Vietnamwith China's Taiwan and its policies towards Taiwanese businesses investing in Vietnam the deputy spokesperson said given Vietnam's pursuit of the One China Policy, it has been maintaining and promoting non-State cooperation with Chinese Taipei in many fields, trade-investment, people-to-people exchanges, tourism, education and training, among others.

"Given the policy of considering foreign investments as an important source and impetus for national development, Vietnam always pays close attention and attaches great importance to refining our investment environment," Viet said.

"This means creating favourable conditions and safety for foreign businesses, including those from Chinese Taipei, to have long term investment in production and business in our country," he added. — Vietnam News/ANN
