The best time to visit Vishakhapatnam is from October to March. During this time, the weather of the region becomes more pleasing and comfortable. December to February is the duration of winters in this region. The temperature becomes fairly pleasant with temperature range of 18°C to 32°C.

At an elevation of about 3200 ft, Araku is famous for its coffee plantations surrounded by beautiful gardens, streams, waterfalls and valleys that are covered with lush green forests. Situated in the Eastern Ghats, the hill station is about 112 km southeast of Vishakhapatnam.

The best time to visit Araku Valley is in the winter from December to February. The Valley is doubly enchanting amid the magic of the winter air. With pleasant days and cool nights, all sightseeing activities are best done during this time of the year.

Visakhapatnam, which is popularly referred to as Vizag, is named after God Vaishaka. The city is a port city, located along the shores of Bay of Bengal and is headquarters to the Eastern Naval Command of the Indian Navy. Although considered to be an industrial city, Vizag has a rich and vibrant culture and heritage. Araku Valley Located at a height of 3,200 feet in the midst of the hills of Anantagiri, Araku Valley is a beautiful and enchanting hill station.

Borra Caves Tiribal Museum

The Borra Caves are situated 29kms from the Araku Valley, near Vishakhapatnam and are acknowledged for their highly beautiful stalactite and stalagmite formations. In 1807, William King George discovered the Borra Caves and assumed them to be a million years old. The Borra Caves are noticeably exhibit a variety of impressive stalactites and stalagmites, in different irregular shapes. Apart from historical value, the caves have religious significance as well. The local people swarm to this place to worship the Shivalinga and the idol of the holy cow ‘Kamadhenu’. The origin of the Borra Caves is believed to be the River Gosthani. The caves were formed due to the perennial river flow over the limestone area.

Araku Valley

Araku Valley is a hill station in Visakhapatnam. It is a beautiful valley in the Eastern Ghats inhabited by different types of tribes and is one of the less commercialized tourist destinations in South India. Valley is located 114 km from Vishakhapatnam, close to the Orissa state border. The Anantagiri and Sunkarimetta Reserved Forest which are part of Araku Valley are rich in biodiversity, surrounded by mountains like Galikonda, Raktakonda, Sunkarimetta and Chitamogondi. Araku is popular for its famous coffee plantations as India’s first tribal growers’ organic coffee brand was launched in the Araku Valley, itself.

Visakha Museum

The Visakha Museum is primarily a historical one that houses the historical treasures of the ‘Vizagapatam’ district of the Madras Presidency of the pre-independence era. It is located on an Old Dutch bungalow on the RK Beach. Some of the notable items on display here are – A collection of photographs of Gandhiji, especially the ones clicked on his visit to Vishakhapatnam, A 250-lb bomb dropped by the Japanese during the World War II that never exploded, A 30” search light reflector used by Vasco-da-Gama’s Ship on his maiden voyage to India, Ancient armoury and life size portraits of the royal family of Vizianagram &Bobbili.

తెలంగాణ టూరిజం అరకు టూర్ షెడ్యూల్

• అరకుకు టూరిజం ప్యాకేజీని ప్రకటించింది తెలంగాణ టూరిజం(Telangana Tourism) . Araku Tour - Telangana Tourism పేరుతో  ఆపరేట్ చేస్తుంది.
• ప్రతి బుధవారం తేదీల్లో ఈ ప్యాకేజీ అందుబాటులో ఉంటుంది. 4 రోజులు ఉంటుంది. 
• చూసే ప్రాంతాలు : అన్నవరం, సింహాచలం, వైజాగ్, ఆర్కే బీచ్, కైలాసగిరి, అరకులోని బొర్రా గుహలు, అనంతగిరి,
• బుధవారం సాయంత్రం హైదరాబాద్ లోని పర్యాటక భవన్ నుంచి జర్నీ స్టార్ట్ అవుతుంది.
• రెండో రోజు ఉదయం 6 గంటలకు విశాఖపట్నం చేరుకుంటారు. హోటల్ లోకి చెకిన్ అవుతారు. సింహాచలం, కైలాసగిరి, Rushikondaను చూస్తారు. అంతేకాకుండా…. సబ్ మైరైన్ మ్యూజియంను సందర్శిస్తారు.సాయంత్రం వైజాగ్ బీచ్ ను చూస్తారు. రాత్రి వైజాగ్ లోనే బస చేస్తారు.

IRCTC Vizag Thailand Tour Package 2024: వైజాగ్ నుంచి డైరెక్ట్ గా థాయ్ లాండ్ వెళ్లాలని అనుకునేవారికి గుడ్ న్యూస్ చెప్పింది. వైజాగ్ టూ థాయ్లాండ్ ప్యాకేజీ వివరాలు:

• వైజాగ్ నుంచి థాయ్లాండ్ టూర్ ప్యాకేజీని ప్రకటించింది IRCTC టూరిజం.
• MAGICAL THAILAND EX VISHAKHAPATNAM పేరుతో ఈ ప్యాకేజీని ఆపరేట్ చేస్తోంది.
• 5 రాత్రులు, 6 రోజుల టూర్ ప్యాకేజీ ఇది. వైజాగ్ నుంచి అందుబాటులో ఉంటుంది.
• సెప్టెంబర్ 7, 2024వ తేదీన ఈ ప్యాకేజీ అందుబాటులో ఉంటుంది. ప్యాకేజీని ముందుగానే బుకింగ్ చేసుకోవచ్చు.
• ఫస్ట్ డే వచ్చేసి… విశాఖ ఎయిర్ పోర్టు నుంచి బయల్దేరుతారు. ముందుగా బ్యాకాంక్ కు(Flight No. FD-117) చేరుకుంచారు.
• రెండో రోజు వచ్చేసి…. పట్టాయాకు వెళ్తారు. లంచ్ తర్వాత విశ్రాంతి తీసుకుంటారు. ఆ తర్వాత Nong Nooch Garden Tour ఉంటుంది. రాత్రి పట్టాయాలోనే ఉంటారు.
