Bad Bunny Announces World's Hottest Tour For Summer 2022

With special guests Alesso and Diplo.

It’s shaping up to be a major year for Bad Bunny. After selling out his first headlining tour since 2020, El Último Tour Del Mundo, in record time — the Puerto Rican superstar is now extending his trek around the world by announcing a new 29-date stadium tour set to take place during the summer of 2022 in the U.S. and Latin America.

World’s Hottest Tour, Bad Bunny’s first-ever stadium-sized tour, will kick off just four months after he wraps up El Último Tour Del Mundo, which is set to begin at the beginning of Feb.

Come Aug. 5, Bad Bunny will embark on the U.S. leg of World’s Hottest Tour with performances set at major arenas across the U.S., including Atlanta’s Truist Park, Boston’s Fenway Park, Chicago’s Soldier Field, New York City’s Yankee Stadium, and Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium. And there’s more: Bad Bunny is also inviting DJs Alesso and Diplo to open select dates on the road.

The Latin America leg of the tour will commence shortly after in October, with shows in Dominican Republic, Chile, Argentina, Ecuador, Colombia, and more, before ending with two shows in Mexico.

Announcing the new shows via Instagram Reels , Bad Bunny also revealed that a new album is on the way: “While I work on my new album, you can buy tickets for my next tour,” he said. The album will be his first major release since 2020’s El Último Tour Del Mundo .

See everything we know about World’s Hottest Tour, including the full dates, openers, and how to buy tickets, below.

The event stated that it would begin at 7pm. It didnt start till almost 9pm. It would be helpful if the start time was more accurate. Overall, it was a good performance. Wish there was some performance before the concert. I did enjoy how the effects were presented, love the bracelets that were on the seats. The surprised guest fantastic. Will I come to another concert of Bad Bunny, probably not for a long time. Hoping that he comes out with more surprises later in the future.

Bad Bunny's Most Wanted Tour: Everything to Know

Bad Bunny

Get all the details on the Puerto Rican superstar's fifth concert tour, including the dates and setlist.

Bad Bunny  has officially kicked off his highly anticipated Most Wanted Tour!

The 29-year-old Puerto Rican superstar launched his fifth concert tour on Feb. 21 in Salt Lake City, Utah, and on Saturday, he took over San Francisco's Chase Center for his second sold-out show at the venue.

ET was on hand for the concert, which was a departure from his 2022 record-breaking tour,  El Último Tour del Mundo . Unlike the last tour -- which amassed over $435 million, according to  Billboard ,  and featured more upbeat party hits -- Bad Bunny fully embraces his "King of Latin Trap" title as he returns to his trap music roots by performing songs from his latest album,  Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana.

Bad Bunny's concert was full of surprises from start to finish. In addition to the updated setlist, the show features three different stages (including a floating catwalk), a full orchestra, inclusive choreography, a ton of pyrotechnics, incredible light shows, and even a real-life horse.

During the second act of the show, Bad Bunny makes his way to one of the stages on horseback as part of the tour's Wild West theme. In fact, PETA recently slammed the musician for the concert stunt, telling Newsweek ,  "Horses are extremely skittish individuals, and they're not props to be ridden across a stage amid flashing lights, booming music and noisy crowds. As they're easily spooked, this could have ended in tragedy, all for an absurd and thoughtless gimmick." The "Where She Goes" rapper has yet to issue a public response.

While the majority of the concert consists of Bad Bunny singing hit after hit, the performer does take a moment during the middle of the show to share his appreciation for his fans.

"I want to thank you for being here tonight once again. San Francisco, thank you for being here. I appreciate it so much," he told the crowd in Spanish, before asking how everybody was feeling.

As the crowd cheered, Bad Bunny continued: "With this place full of so many people, it is impossible for each of you to be feeling good. It's impossible. I am 100 percent sure that perhaps many of you tonight are going through a situation in your lives, a concern, a difficult moment, but either way, you came out... you left your problems outside and are here spending the night with me... Thank you very much. You guys also make me feel better, so thank you."

Bad Bunny has long been open about his mental health struggles , and during his performance on Sunday, he spoke about how some days are harder than others, saying some days he wakes up not wanting to do anything, and other days, he feels like "moving the world."

"It's part of life," he told the audience. "We have those moments where we're not totally OK. It's part of the day-to-day process."

Following his only speech of the night, Bad Bunny transitioned into an acoustic set, accompanied by a piano, before closing out the show with some of his more popular hits, including "Dakiti," "Me Porto Bonito," and "Where She Goes."

Bad Bunny Announces His First Stadium Tour Across The U.S. & Latin America “Bad Bunny: World’s Hottest Tour”

Facebook icon

Tickets On Sale Friday, January 28 12pm Local Time On Worldshottesttour.com

Proclaimed the most listened-to artist in the world for a second consecutive year by Spotify, Bad Bunny has distinguished himself for his revolutionary moves that constantly impact the music industry. Today, the multi-award-winning artist adds a new milestone to his career, announcing his first stadium tour “Bad Bunny: World’s Hottest Tour” across the United States and Latin America. Promoted by Live Nation and CMN in the U.S., the tour kicks off on August 5th at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, FL, making stops in Miami, Chicago, New York and many more before wrapping at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on September 30th, then heading out to Latin America in October. Tickets for this stadium tour will go on pre-sale beginning Wednesday, January 26 at 12pm local time. Subsequently, they will go on sale to the general public beginning Friday, January 28 at 12pm local time on worldshottesttour.com .

Joining Bad Bunny as special guests on select dates in the U.S. will be GRAMMY® nominated DJ and Record Producer, Alesso and ten-time GRAMMY® nominated artist, Diplo . With his music and visuals, Alesso creates experiences that have made him one of the most celebrated live performers. Diplo is one of the most dynamic forces in music today with billions of streams on some of the world’s best dance recordings.

This announcement is a clear representation of Bad Bunny’s extraordinary  growth as a global superstar. Just after announcing his tour “El Último Tour Del Mundo 2022” in April 2021, which will begin February 9th and will tour 35 indoor arenas across North America, the artist broke the record at Ticketmaster for the most ticket sales for a tour on its first day of sales since 2018. Bad Bunny quickly sold out all 35 shows, moving more than 500,000 tickets. In addition, the artist performed his first stadium concerts in December 2021, breaking audience records with two performances at the Hiram Bithorn Stadium in Puerto Rico. There is no doubt that after such success, “Bad Bunny: World’s Hottest Tour” in stadiums with an all new production will continue to elevate the artist’s career to new transcendental levels.

Over the past year, Bad Bunny has released top hits that have earned him the title of #1 Latin Artist in the US by Billboard for a third consecutive year and was also named one of the top 10 most popular global superstars. As if that were not enough, he is also the highest-ranking Latin act on Billboard’s general all genre chart “Top Artists,” ranking at #10, and is the artist with the most hits to reach the Top 10 of the “Hot Latin Songs” chart since the charts inception.

Adding to his great accomplishments in 2021, the artist closed the year by surprising his fans with the premiere of the music video for “Te Deseo Lo Mejor,” which he made in collaboration with The Simpsons . The series is known for bringing some of the most popular celebrities in the world to life in cartoon form and this time Bad Bunny caused a great impact with his participation, reaffirming his leading spot in the music industry.

Bad Bunny's First NYC Show From His Most Wanted Tour Is Proof His Latine Fans Still Come First

Published on 4/12/2024 at 7:43 PM

bad bunny tour italia

When I first learned that Bad Bunny's sold-out Most Wanted Tour included three back-to-back shows at the Barclays Center in NYC and one that landed on my birthday, April 11, it all seemed meant to be. The concert would occur three days after a highly anticipated solar eclipse , a new moon, and all during a Mercury retrograde . It would also happen during Aries season — the beginning of the astrological year and a time for new beginnings. While I had high expectations for Benito's performance and his first NYC show from the tour, one thing that stood out most is how the Puerto Rican artist continues to appreciate and celebrate his loyal Latine fans.

Bad Bunny is the most-streamed artist on the planet. This fun fact never loses its significance for loyal Latine fans who have witnessed the struggle for Latin music to get the respect and support it deserves here in the States. The Puerto Rican artist put on a hell of a performance at the Barclays Center on April 11. Looking around an arena with a 19,000-person capacity, there wasn't a single empty seat in sight, at least not within my view. It was a packed house of what appeared to be a mostly Latine crowd ranging in age and ethnicity.

There was his usual fan base — Dominican and Puerto Ricans standing in the long lines outside of the stadium with their flags tied around their necks and flowing from their backs. Even with the cold, rainy weather, everyone in those lines was decked out in Bad Bunny merch and ready to celebrate the artist. These same folks were the first to jump up and wave their flags whenever Bad Bunny made mention of his Latine fans and supporters. There were also many Latines of Central and South American descent rocking their flags and holding up signs expressing their love for the singer. Although he's gone global, especially since the success of his 2022 record-breaking album " Un Verano Sin Ti ," Latines still appear to make up most of Bad Bunny's concert-attending fans, from how things appeared on Thursday night.

Regardless of how many awards he's taken home or how many records he's broken, Bad Bunny hasn't lost sight of the folks that have supported his music since his early days on SoundCloud before non-Latines had any clue who el conejo malo was. He has proven that whenever he's apologetically spoken in Spanish during an interview or at an award show . He's proven that in the way he has continued to elevate the genre, paying his respect to OGs like Daddy Yankee , Residente, and Tego Calderon and giving his stamp of approval to rising Puerto Rican artists like Young Miko , Rainao , and Villano Antillano .

I've seen Bad Bunny live in NYC twice: first in 2019 at Barclays, and then again at Yankee Stadium for his 2022 World's Hottest tour . At all his concerts, Benito only spoke Spanish and almost exclusively addressed his Latine fans. In many ways, like with many Latin music artists today, attending a Bad Bunny concert feels like you're exclusively a part of his crew or fan club. It doesn't matter that he's gone global — he's still only speaking Spanish and shouting-out Latines.

"New York has been very important in my career, where dreams come true," he told fans in Spanish on Thursday. "Being on the tour feels really amazing, going to each place and seeing it, all the cities, but New York, it's something else. It feels more amazing than usual. Seeing all those PR and DR flags makes it even more special. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being here; it means a lot to me."

The artist had a lot of emotional moments throughout the performance during which he would stare at a packed stadium filled with excited fans in complete awe and then with teary eyes right before giving his heartwarming speech to Latine fans. In many ways, Bad Bunny's latest album, " Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana ," paid homage to Puerto Rico and his Latine concert goers. It acknowledged that regardless of the fame and success that followed with "Un Verano Sin Ti," he hasn't forgotten where he's come from and who his number-one fans are. The concert was very reflective of that sentiment, with half of the songs on the setlist being straight from "Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana," and the later half of the show including older tracks, a guest performance by Bryant Meyer, and tracks from "Un Verano Sin Ti," including his hit track "Titi Me Pregunto." The production at this show was also top-notch, with an orchestra that opened up the show and reappeared throughout, Benito playing "Amorforda" on the piano upside down, a cool jigsaw bridge in the middle of the stadium room, and the artist even riding into the stadium on a real-life horse looking like a ranchero-meets-lucha-libre.

Bad Bunny went all out for us from start to end, delivering an almost-three-hour-long performance filled with so much attention to detail and deeply rooted love and appreciation for his Latine fans. The Latine community is a beautiful one. When we love — we love hard. When we support — we show up in large numbers. I wouldn't be surprised if there were full families in that crowd. But we're also the quickest to criticize our own idols whenever they reach a certain level of fame. And while Bad Bunny has certainly reached a level of fame where he can probably get away with performing for less than two hours without all the cool production effects, he still put in the love he's had for his craft and his Latine fans since the beginning, and he still let us know that he wouldn't be here without us. And that is something I don't think he'll ever stop doing, regardless of how far he may go in his career.

BAD BUNNY Announces “World’s Hottest Tour” Dates For U.S. and Latin America

Bad Bunny

As Bad Bunny ‘s “Most Wanted Tour” made its first of three stops at L.A.’s Crypto.com Arena Wednesday night, fans dressed in western-themed getups gathered to witness the return of the Puerto Rican megastar for his first outing since his eye-popping “World’s Hottest” stadium run . Split into four separate acts, this production felt much more theatrical than his last, as proven by the intricate pyrotechnics and the orchestra — which served as a 10-minute opening act — nestled onto one of two crescent-shaped stages on either side of the arena.

Popular on Variety

Maybe it’s the volume of subject matter, or the fact that he’s at the height of his fame, but Bunny performed with a swiftness that left little room for improvisation. Act I is composed of fast-paced and seamless trap music following the tracklist of “Nadie Sabe” — a signal that re-established the warning sign emblazoned on the first poster we saw for this tour: “If You’re Not a Real Fan, Don’t Come.”

Act II blended a mix of his hard-hitting trap singles, from 2017’s punchy “Tú no Metes Cabra” and “No Te Hagas” to the Daddy Yankee-featuring “Vuelve.” Further paying homage to this era, Bunny welcomed his only guest for the night, fellow Puerto Rican trap artist Bryant Myers, for a joint performance of their first live collaborative performance of “Seda.”

Despite his relentless emphasis on trap, the compact — for Bunny, anyway — two-and-a-half-hour show closed with a treat for fans of his raging reggaeton hits, including “Safaera,” “Yo Perreo Sola,” “Efecto,” and even “Me Porto Bonito.” Nearly all of the audience was suddenly on their feet, and it seemed as though every colorful laser and floating fluorescent light in the space lit up to reveal a sea of ecstatic faces. Streamers, confetti, and splashes of overpriced beer and mixed drinks went flying into the air.

What Bad Bunny does next remains to be seen, but if this concert trek is any indication, it’s clear his listeners — old or new — are more than eager to follow him wherever he may choose to venture.

Just in time for Easter, Bad Bunny is hopping into the Windy City.

From March 28-30, the Hip-Hop hitmaker will bring his ‘Most Wanted Tour’ to Chicago’s United Center for three huge back-to-back-to-back gigs.

At past concerts on the nationwide run, the 30-year-old superstar “split the show into three acts, performing his ‘Nadie Sabe’ tracks, then took it back to his trap roots before performing a few acoustic tracks (and) ended the night with ‘un perreíto’” according to USA Today.

If this sounds like the show for you, it isn’t too late to scoop up last-minute tickets.

Prices start at $94 before fees on Vivid Seats at the time of publication.

For those that prefer to get closer to the action, floor-level seats can be secured for as low as $401 before fees.

In October 2023, Bad Bunny dropped his fifth studio album “nadie sabe lo que va a pasar mañana,” which he claims is a nod to his trap roots and for the day-one fans.

Thing is, this record is packed with so many catchy beats and hooky choruses that it should be easily accessible to listeners both new and old.

Over 22 tracks, the rapper delivers 81 minutes of pulsing club tracks meant to get crowds hyped like the hypnotic “HIBIKI,” the dreamy “FINA” and the alternately spacey and throbbing “CYBERTRUCK.”

For our money though, the standout is the lush throwback “Monaco” with its cinematic score under Bad Bunny’s impeccable flow (plus, it doesn’t hurt that the  music video  features Al Pacino).

If you want to hear the already very popular record in its entirety, you can stream “nadie sabe lo que va a pasar mañana”  here .

Artists featured on the album include Arcángel, Bryant Meyers, Feid, La Paciencia, Mag, Mora, Ñengo Flow, Tainy, and Young Miko.

The 30-year-old Vega Baja native (whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio) was first spotted leaving a restaurant with Jenner, 27, by TMZ in February 2023.

Three months later, they made their first official public appearance at a Lakers-Warriors NBA playoff game on May 12.

“I know something is going to come out. I know [people are] going to say something. People know everything about me, so what’s left for me to protect? My private life, my personal life,” Bad Bunny told Rolling Stone in an interview published in June.

In late September, the pair appeared in a Gucci Valigeria luggage  ad  which fans have speculated is their official couple announcement.

On Dec. 17, the two officially split. Two weeks later, they were seen celebrating New Years together near Barbados with good friends but confirmed they are “not back together.”

Many of the biggest stars in music are hitting the road this year.
