Sinquerim Beach
This beach is connected to the Candolim Beach and Fort Aguada guards one end of its shore. As a result, the tourist attractions here are pretty much the same as those in Candolim. You can explore the Old Fort and the lighthouse that stands within the fort, enjoy the sunset from the fort or simply watch the waves crash on the seashore during high tide. One difference between the two beaches is that Sinquerium Beach can easily take home the prize for being the quieter and the cleaner between the two beaches.
Since Candolim Beach is just next door, it takes most of the crowds, leaving Sinquerium mostly empty. However, other than this minor hurdle, the beach is a good one and there are shacks which can provide you with cheap but good food options.
At night, you can party at one of the clubs in Sinquerium like Sinq Night Club or head over to the clubs in Candolim or Anjuna which are only a short distance away.
Water Sports: Boat rides, banana boat rides, parasailing, water scooters are among the water sporting options at Sinquerium Beach

Dudhsagar Falls of Goa is a majestic waterfall where the white water gushing through the steep and vertical face of the mountain portrays a cascading effect. Standing as tall as 310 metres, it makes sure to stand in the list of tallest waterfalls in India. The cascading effect of this waterfall gives rise to the illusion of a milky white sea falling from such a great height. This is how the Falls acquired its name – Dudhsagar Falls. The four-tiered waterfall marks its presence along the Mandovi River in the Sanguem taluka (Goa). The main river of Goa – Mandovi, originating from the Deccan Plateau winds its way through the twists and turns of the Western Ghats. As soon as the river plummets through the hilly cover lying along the borders of Karnataka and Goa, it transforms into Dudhsagar Falls. The moment the water gushing out from the Falls flow towards its feet, it forms a green pool at its base. It is from here that the water of the Dudhsagar Falls starts flowing westwards to join and be a part of the mighty Arabian Sea. The entire landmark in the backdrop of the falls is covered with a vastly stretched forest cover. This is how the Dudhsagar Falls form a part of Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary. Embark the wildlife researching skills within you as there this sanctuary shelters a plethora of wildlife. In the past few years, the popularity of the Dudhsagar Falls has increased ten-fold as one of the most preferred weekend getaways from each of the cities of Bangalore, Mumbai, and Pune. If you’ve got a big group or a family, you surely must check-in the Dudhsagar Falls for a short family outing.

It is believed that she was both a princess and a noted scholar, who became a Christian at around the age of 14 and also converted hundreds of people to Christianity, and was martyred around the age of 18. Catherine was known to be a spiritual pathfinder and raise her voice against the oppression of the Christians under the rule of Roman emperor Maxentius. She was so strong and logical with her arguments that the king himself was incapable of countering them and has a then he formed a committee of 50 philosophers to debate her ideas. However, even the assembly conceded defeat in front of her and confessed Christianity as their belief. Out of anger, the king burnt the philosophers alive and sentenced st.catherine to prison. Catherine did not give up, and she was succeeded in converting not only the jailers but also the king's wife. It is believed that she showed the path of Christianity to 200 people. Even when she was facing the worse condition of her life, she continued to stretch the word of Jesus. She was honoured with the title of"patroness of the wheel-wrights" because it is believed then when she was fastened to a spiked wheel as it was mentioned in her death sentence the wheel broke and she was left uninjured. And when she was finally beheaded, it is said that angle took her remains and laid them to rest atop Mount Sinai. Because it has the Arjuna folks behind it, the coffee is out of the world and the salads, smoothies and breakfasts and healthy and yum . They’re also building some huts to stay at and their yoga shala is already operational . The only tip we have is - Make it before 5:30 pm because they shut down post that .

This beauty opened in September and has managed to pull us away from the beaches by offering a lovely view of the Baga creek . Their bar looks like a caravan and their multi-level seating is pretty interesting . The river views aside, the real hero is the food at this famous place in Goa . Try their tapas or sushi or stick to fried Calamari . They even have a big pizza menu that won’t disappoint. Our favourites include Mud Crabs and Green Melon LIIT.

18. Soho Fontainhas
This pub in Panjim is spread across two levels and their small outdoor space overlooks the street which makes it one of the most romantic places in India. We’ve heard rave reviews from party makers (both locally and from tourists) who’ve crawled out of here after a late night of grooving to DJ tunes. This pub was once a lodge but little of that remains now thanks to a huge makeover by one of Goa’s finest architects, Raya Shankhwalker. We’d suggest a day of walking around Fontainhas on a weekend and ending it at Soho. Their kheema pao, Rawa-fried veggies and cocktails are ace!

Ritu Dalmia’s Diva probably has the best Italian on the Goan shores and the fact that it’s inside a beautiful resort (hey, Andores), makes the experience that much better. The care gone into handpicking every ingredient and often getting it shipped from Italy is the reason the pizza and ravioli are so authentic. Of course, there’s also the wood-fired oven to thank for and the sunny poolside that’s perfect for sipping wine and devouring Marinara pizza and pork chops .

Budget Hotels > Travel Blog > Destinations > Goa > 13 Things To Do in Goa For Couples (2024) : Updated Activities list
What are the best things to do in Goa for couples? Lay in bed late, have a leisurely breakfast for two and hit the beach. Soak up the sun till it dips into the Arabian Sea and then party the night away. That kind of sums up all the things couples do in Goa, right? Mostly. But you could slide off that checklist and try your hand at our list. These are some of the most fabulous things for you to do in Goa as a couple and none of them involve the beach. So flip on your adventure switch and come away with us.
1. Have Breakfast with the Dolphins
#1 of 13 Things To Do in Goa For Couples
Pack up some sandwiches, hire a boat on the beach, and head out to the sea for a romantic breakfast for two early in the morning. Or pack a six-pack. You’re a grown up and who says you can’t have beer for breakfast? Look hard and you’ll be able to see a pod of dolphins splashing around. (They’re probably after the beer!)

One of the best things to do in Goa for couples? Take a boat ride to Butterfly Island for a late-night party for two. This tiny island close to the northern end of Palolem Beach in South Goa is accessible only by water and is more like a big sandbar than an island. But it’s super clean, offers privacy and is utterly romantic. Have a steady supply of your favorite drinks, and some food, and spend the evening there gazing at the stars with your special one.

#3 of 13 Things To Do in Goa For Couples
Get your own, personalized cruise on a houseboat (you read that right!) on the Chapora River. Book at one of the many businesses offering these cruises and opt for a day trip or an overnight one. Among all the things you can do in Goa as a couple, this one would stand out because it gives you a new perspective of life in Goa – soak in the scenes by the river as you cruise along – fishermen readying the nets, sand dredgers hard at work, songs wafting from the paddy fields and people going about their business in villages hemmed to the side of the river.
- Location: North Goa

4. Walk around in the Old Latin Quarters of Panjim

Goa is famous for its beautiful churches and they are widely visited by tourists. How about visiting a quaint little church in Fontainhas, the Old Latin Quarter of Panjim? Not really on the tourist map, Fontainhas is Panjim’s historic center and has preserved its Old Portuguese influence. You can see it in the architecture of the buildings and churches like the St. Sebastian Chapel. While here, also visit the 16th-century Church of Our Lady of Rosary – part of UNESCO World Heritage sites in the state.
