Amit was very helpful in planning a 2-day solo trip for me in Delhi and a 5-day Golden Triangle Tour for my sister and I. He suggested extra programs in Delhi (light and water show at Akshardham Temple), Agra (dance show or Sheroes Hangout Cafe and renting sarees to take pictures during the sunrise tour of the Taj Mahal), and Jaipur (food walk tour and visiting Nahargarh Fort and Jaigarh Fort). All communication with Amit was prompt and informative. Vikram, our driver, made us feel safe and secure. He was very attentive in providing extra bottles of water during the hot days, umbrellas during the monsoon rain, and in finding vegan food options for me and mild, non-spicy Indian food for my sister. Vikram went above and beyond and made us feel instantly welcome in India easing initial apprehension about traveling alone as women. The tour guides Neeraj in Delhi, Dilip in Agra, and Raj in Jaipur (please excuse any misspelled names) spoke excellent German and showed us the sights in the cities they love and know well. We saw everything that interested us and learned a lot. The hotels, we asked to upgrade to from 3 stars to 4 stars. Especially Shapura House in Jaipur was excellent - friendly staff, great accomodations with all amenities you can think of, and wonderful breakfast buffets with life cooking and many good options. We were pleasantly surprised to see a dance show and puppet show at Shapura House. Raj also took us to a textile place and my sister got to print an elephant with four different vegetable colors and stamps on fabric. We have recommended Yolo India Tours to friends and family and won't hesitate to book through them again.

An amazing journey that I thoroughly enjoyed on The Golden Triangle Tour. I loved learning about the culture and seeing such beautiful architecture and hearing the wonderful associated stories. The Kite festival was brilliant, our tour guide 'Manu' was helpful and friendly at all times and added a personal touch to our group,he was very knowledgeable. I fully recommend the 'cooking class' in Jaipur and of course the highlight of the tour was the Taj Mahal. All the places we stayed were great except The Hotel Grand Park Inn, Delhi, the staff were lovely but the rooms were cold and damp with mould in the bathrooms, grubby linen and general cleanliness was lacking, as there was no communal area to go sit or meet others, I felt confined to my room, not the best place to start and finish an other wise great trip.

This was an excellent 3 day tour of some of India's most famous places and I cannot praise it enough! The driver was great and the tour guides were all very professional, knowledgeable, patient with questions, spoke good English and also eager to be sure you enjoyed their tour! I felt that they all earned their tips and deserved them.The hotels rooms also were quite adequate with restaurants with delicious food. I felt very safe and well taken care of as an older woman of 73 years traveling alone. The schedule was not too tiring for an older person. Here is more detail if you want it. The driver Deevan Singh was a super safe driver, very courteous, kind, always early and eager to please. He made the long drives pleasant. He did not speak English as well as the tour guides, but we were able to understand one another. He even sang Krishna songs for me! He was able to get me to the airport on time for my night flight home to the USA on the last day of the tour despite a major traffic jam in Delhi. I want to recognize the young man who was my tour guide of Delhi. He also showed me the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial at my request even though it was not on the itinerary. I also saw the India Gate, Presidential Palace, Lodmi Gardens and tomb, and an amazing old Muslim multi-story well from the 13th century. I am sorry I did not write down his name to give him proper credit. I also especially want to recognize my Agra tour guide Hilal for the Taj Mahal and Red Fort. He was older and a very experienced tour guide for 30 years. At my request he additionally took me to see the back view of the Taj at sunset when we arrived the first evening, as well as gave me the detailed tour the next morning at sunrise. He was very kind, informative and unhurried so I could take my time seeing it all more slowly. He knew the best photo ops and even took photos of me there. I suggest you ask for him for Agra! My tour guide Anil Sharma for Jaipur was also great and an experienced guide of 20 years even though he seemed young. We saw the Amer Fort, Wind Palace from the exterior, and toured the astronomical observatory which was amazing. I had wanted to ride the elephants at the Amer Fort but he suggested we wait till the afternoon. At first I was disappointed, but he was right that it was better to do it that way as you could take more time and have photos taken. The elephant ride was my favorite part of the entire trip! He also took photos of me at various places with my camera and then used his when my battery finished and sent them to me. The only small complaint I have is that the two hotels - the Maple in Agra and Amer Valley in Jaipur - were older and not so well maintained if you looked very closely. But this is part of being in India and could be overlooked because they were clean, had a nice appearance and courteous staff. If you want to travel in more luxury, be sure to pay extra for an upgrade if you can. I have been to India 6 times but before always traveling alone. This time it was so comfortable and pleasant to be on a tour and taken care of so well with experienced people. As you can tell, I loved this tour and highly recommend it to everyone! Our driver was awesome he helped us out when we needed and our guides in Agra and Jaipur were very knowledgeable. There were varying levels of the different guides keeping us out of the sun and keeping street vendors from following us around, so some days were more stressful than others. The hotels were comfortable with nice breakfasts and kind employees, however the air conditioning wasn’t strong enough for me to sleep well in 2 of them. The sites shown on this tour are amazing and beautiful, exactly what you would want to see, and the restaurants are pretty good too. Every day ended with showing how something is made, which included high pressure sales tactics that made me pretty uncomfortable, but when we asked to skip that in Jaipur the guide obliged. Although there was one other girl on my tour, we were given separate rooms, which was really nice. Overall the tour had several pros and cons but for me it was definitely the right decision over trying to go the golden triangle alone. I would especially recommend the driver. He was the best.

4 Days Mini Golden Triangle India Tour

I rated this tour with 4 stars as my driver (Danish) was amazing and the tour guides were very knowledgeable and outgoing. Definitely got more out of the experience with the tour guides.The operators also took me out for dinner which was very nice of them. However, I will note that the hotels in this package are 3 stars (as advertised) which are more like 2 star hotels/motels in North America and staying in these hotels was not enjoyable. So if I were to do the tour again I would get the tour package without the hotels and book the hotels myself. Alternatively i would hire a personal driver and simply hire tour guides at each location which are very inexpensive. You would get a very similar experience at a fraction of the price. I was expecting a bit more out of the tour based on the price but youre mainly paying for the convenience. India is very inexpensive! Live and learn. Just being honest based on what I've learned while being in India :)

Delhi Taj Mahal And Jaipur Pink City 3 Days

Very quick tour to just see the highlights. I would definitely recommend choosing a longer trip. My driver was nice and the car was comfortable though. All of the local guides in each destination were okay. There is no personal time though or any time for shopping other than the jewellery and carpet places they take you. As a young solo female I never felt unsafe.

Intrepid Premium India in Depth (November 13 - 25) Mumbai - Delhi Excellent tour leader along with very good local informative guides. 3 changes in accommodation; Mumbai - Gordon House Hotel is excellent, well priced and only 1 street back from Gateway to India but the company changed to Fariyas Hotel, Mumbai which was been renovated as well as painted so very noisy, couldn't use the pool and scaffolding all around. Definitely not ideal. Our second night in Delhi was also cancelled at Jaypee Siddharth Hotel though privately booked and paid for months before the tour so had to find alternative accommodation while on the tour and they told the travel agents they were "closed for renovations" however the tour was booked and stayed there and no renovations were occuring. Hadoti Palace Hotel in Bundi looked nice and rooms were big but not clean especially the toilet and shower. Otherwise all hotels were very nice and rated accurately; cleaning the showers/washrooms would have helped with the mouldy smell but that is somewhat consistent in most countries. November is the start of wedding season in India which are very loud and noisy and have no time restrictions so be prepared for that if going at this time of year. Tour involves quite a number of days travelling in a bus/coach for 4 - 6 hours with a stop every 2 - 3 hours. Rest stops are OK at best with only snack food to purchase. Adjusting the departure time would have helped with timeframes as quite a few days we were getting lunch around 2 - 3 pm when hotel kitchens were closed. Definitely not enough free time for shopping on your own with organized evenings most nights or in a venue on the outside of towns. Toured the markets but they were only a walk through with the group and no time to stop and shop. Restaurants and food was amazing and no one was unwell on the trip. 2 days in Ranthambhore Park was too long and could have done in 1.5 days with more time in Agra. Overall a very good trip for myself and my father (aged 79).

The Famous Incredible Golden Triangle Tour of India

We booked a group tour, but it was just myself and my husband who were on the tour. We had the same driver, Monu, for the 6 days and a different guide in each of the three cities; one in Delhi, one in Jaipur and one in Agra. Although the traffic in India is crazy, our driver made us feel very safe. Jaipur was our favourite of the three cities. The city itself is beautiful. We also had the best hotel and the best guide here. The Taj Mahal is amazing and a big highlight of our trip. Overall it was an amazing trip and having our own personal driver and guide made everything run smoothly.

This was a great introduction to India, even though it is a small part of the country. The itinerary was good and the hotels were very comfortable. Our driver, Dinesh, was professional, personable and helpful. He was a very welcoming person when we were collected at the airport. 2 out of 3 of the girds were very good. They were helpful and flexible. The third, in Delhi, was good but we had some reservations over a few things. The communication was good and meeting with Amit, the tour organiser at the beginning was helpful and reassuring. The tour was very reasonably priced. We would highly recommend taking a Yolo tour, especially this one.

Although I LOVED everything about this trip, I have to say that the experience was 10 times enhanced by our amazing CEO, Manvendra. He went above and beyond and truly made this the trip of a lifetime

Apart from the above in some cases like Special Train Journeys, hotels or resort bookings during the peak season (X-Mas, New Year), full payment is required to be sent in advance (as specified in your tour proposal).

Mode of Payment for FIT (Frequent Individual Travelers):

• 30% of the amount-confirmation of the order
• 70% of the amount – Day 1 of the tour.

Mode of Payment for GIT (Groups Independent Travelers):

• 50% of the amount – confirmation of the order
• 50% of the amount – One month earlier of the tour starting date.

The overseas advance payment can be made through Wire Transfer to our Bank or by Credit Card.

Cancellation Policy

In the event of cancellation of tour / travel services due to any avoidable / unavoidable reasons we must be notified of the same in writing. Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive advice in writing, and cancellation charges would be as follows:

• 75 days to 60 days preceding the starting date of tour: NO RETENTION will be charged.
• 60 days to 45 days preceding the starting date of tour: 30% of package cost will be charged as Retention.
• 45-35 days preceding the starting date of tour: 50% of package cost will be charged as Retention.
• 35-0 days preceding the starting date of tour: 100% of package cost will be charged as retention.

In case of special trains journeys and peak season hotel bookings a separate cancellation policy is applicable (which can be advised as and when required). For flight tickets cancellation, airlines cancellation policy will be applicable.

Day 01: Arrive Delhi

On arrival at Delhi, you will be received by our representative and transferred to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 02: Delhi

Enjoy the sightseeing of New Delhi in the Morning which includes Laxmi Narayan Temple, India Gate, Parliament House, Qutab Minar, Purana Qila, Humayun's Tomb, Jantar Mantar Etc.

After having lunch we can proceed for the sightseeing of Old Delhi which includes Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Gandhi memorial, Rajghat. You also can enjoy the light & sound show at Red Fort in the evening etc. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 03: Delhi - Agra

Morning drive to Agra, enroute visiting Sikandra. On arrival check into the hotel. Later enjoy the city atmosphere. Afternoon visit Agra Fort, which has the Pearl Mosque, Diwan-e-am (the hall of public audience) and Diwan-e-Khas (the hall of private audience). Overnight at the hotel.

Day 04: Agra - Fatehpur Sikri - Jaipur

Breakfast at the hotel and proceed to visit Taj Mahal. Later drive to Jaipur, en-route visit Fatehpur Sikri, Fatehpur Sikri was built during 1571 and 1585. Fatehpur Sikri is one of the finest examples of Mughal architectural splendour at its height. Though the city is in ruins, it is a place to visit if one comes to Agra. But in real terms Fatehpur Sikri is a place where one should spend some time. The sunset over the ruins is sight to cherish. Later continue drive to Jaipur. On arrival at Jaipur check-in at hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 05: Jaipur

After breakfast visiting Amber Fort, Amber Fort was the ancient capital of the State. Visit the Sheesh Mahal or the Hall of Victory glittering with mirrors. Ascend the Fort on Elephant back.

Afternoon tour of Jaipur. Jaipur - the capital of Rajasthan was given a colour coat of pink a century ago in honour of a visiting Prince and ever since, it has retained this colour. Built by Maharaja Jai Singh, the notable astronomer, this city is 260 years old. Visit Maharaja's City Palace, the Observatory. Drive past Hawa Mahal & through the pink rose residential & business areas. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 06: Jaipur / Delhi Depart

In the morning after breakfast at the hotel, we will drive to Delhi. On arrival in Delhi, we will drop you at the international airport to catch the connecting flight for onward destination.

Ranthambore National Park is one of the biggest tiger reserves in India and is known for being the best place to spot the Bengal Tigers in their Natural Habitat.
