In the morning 

07:30 Pick up guests from hotels in Hanoi Old Quarter

12:00: Arrive at Hon Gai harbor. You will be welcome aboard with a welcome drink. The cruise manager presents cruise briefing introduction and safety notes, and then you are free to check into your cabin and freshen up.

In the afternoon 

13:15: As we begin to cruise through Bai Tu Long Bay, a special lunch of fresh seafood and an assortment of delicious favorites will be served in the restaurant.

15:00: Explore Vung Vieng fishing village by local rowing boats to discover the daily lives of its inhabitants. This village used to be home for hundreds of locals but they now move to the mainland to settle, there still remain many local floating houses.

16:30: Get back to the Signature cruise, cruise to the anchorage area for an overnight stay on Bai Tu Long Bay.

HAPPY HOUR with a special drink menu (Buy one get another one for free).

Join a cooking demonstration of an authentic Vietnamese dish, presented by a talented chef on board.

19:15: Have an elegant dinner on board.

20:45 : Your free time to relax with an exotic cocktail or whatever takes your fancy. The bar has a wide range of wines, beers, and liquors and is always a welcome sight for guests after a day on Halong Bay.

In the morning

06:30: Head to the upper deck to participate in our daily Tai Chi sessions. Relax with an early morning cup of tea or coffee, witness amazing dawn on Halong Bay.

07:00: Light breakfast will serve in our restaurant.

7: 30: Visit Thien Canh Son cave and islets, a marvelous natural caves on Hon Co island.

09:30  Check out of your cabin. At 11:15 am, you will board our tender and head back to the pier where you will be met by your return trip vehicle to transfer you to Hanoi.

12:00-12:30  Transfer back to Hanoi

In the afternoon

17:00 Arrive at your hotel in Hanoi. Trip ends.

There are 4 kinds of cabins on Signature Cruise: Junior Suite, Senior Suite, Elite Family Suites and Exclusive Family Suite.

Cruise itinerary

Our shuttle bus will pick you up from your hotel and take you to Halong International Cruise Port on a 3 hour ride (not included in cabin cost), then you will be transferred into small tender boat to Signature Cruise. When you get on board, welcome drinks are served while our crew member complete the safety procedure and check you into your cabin.

Back to the boat to wait for the sun setting while Happy Hour buy 2 drinks get 1 free is ready at the bar. For those who love Vietnamese food and desire to learn how to make some simple dishes, a Vietnamese cooking class is available right before the dinner.

Set menu dinner with a wide range of Vietnamese and international food will be served at 19:30. Time after the meal is free for you, when you might relax on the top deck with drink from our outdoor bar, try a massage at our spa or participate in the squid fishing.

Wake up early to hunt the dawn on the bay while trying Taichi session on the sundeck. A light breakfast is served in the restaurant at 7:15am before you visit Thien Canh Son Cave.

Back to the vessel and prepare for check-out from 9:30 am. Enjoy a brunch while the cruise goes back to the harbor. Disembark at Halong International Cruise Port at around 10:45 am.

They suggested we do the 1 hour boat trip and said they would drop us to the dock. 1) they dropped us in the wrong place 2) they were lost because of the marathon Then the boat, after we finally found it: 1) stinking fumes, actually gagging 2) no commentary, in fact, no interaction unless you begged 3) offered us 2 for 1 icecreams as they had melted and refrozen as the fridge gets turned off at night Honestly, we enjoyed the afternoon in the boat but spent all of it laughing at just how awful it was!!! The red route is quite exciting and takes about an hour. The bus comes every 10 to 15 minutes. However the other two routes take about two hours each and buses come every 30 to 40 minute period. If the bus is full then you have to wait at the stop for the next bus. So personally I feel that not much can be seen this way. I definitely was not impressed. The boat element was wonderful, we saw some amazing parts of Moscow along the river side. The bus element was very disappointing as it only started at 10am and was finished by 6:30pm. The ear phones were small and sometimes the commentary did not link up with the sites you were seeing. The green bus takes you on a longer route and ours took two and a half hours due to the heavy traffic. I would not recommend this trip unless it is raining or you want to fill in time. The bus didn't stop at many points. Were were unaware a couple of times at what point we were and missed them. Headphones and maps were provided. Would recommend one should check out the route map before going and decide which places to stop in advance, this way one can manage and enjoy the tour more and us it more effectively.! And in the boat even tough we were 90% English speaking tourist at least, the tour guide spoke 95% of the time in Russia, and only 3 sentences in English, I really counted how many times she spoke in English. And at the end she asks us if we have any questions? Of course I told her I couldn’t ask her anything since I didn’t understand 95% of what she was saying. The boat tour is not worth it, just take the bus that would be my advice. Second minus is the waiting times, in the boat they made us wait an hour before it departed, and in many stops with the buses waiting times of 20-30 minutes.
