Teaching German at the high school and college level for a decade, Derek has taken many students to Europe during that time. His two main professional passions are travel and languages. There's no better combination to have when thinking about seeing the world. However, many people have hang-ups or anxiety when considering going to a foreign country. Having been to Germany over 10 times and even lived there during college, being abroad is second nature for him. That's why he started a company, where he and other linguists/travelers can use their passions and background to help others gain life experience through travel.
