Scilly’s Greatest Pleasure
The Isles of Scilly is England's enchanting archipelago - perfectly pint-sized but still boasting more than 140 islands. And we have all the boats and experienced boatmen to help you skip around it all. Let’s go island hopping! If this is your first visit, the boating system may seem a little daunting but you’ll soon get the hang of it.
Basically you have all the tripper boats of St. Mary’s largely run by the St. Mary’s Boatmen’s Association . Additionally, St. Agnes Boating , Tresco Boat Services , Endeavour Rib Service , Scilly Sea Safaris and Seaquest Glass Bottom Boat all operate their own boat services offering trips and excursions, as well as regular water taxi services from their bases to all the other islands.
Between them they run literally hundreds of trips a week – full day and half day trips to a plethora of islands. There are trips to see the seals and seabirds, to Bishop Rock Lighthouse, to the uninhabited islands where you can get dropped sometimes – and picked up too of course! And evening excursions on the “supper boats” that allow you to sample the pubs and restaurants of all the islands.
All in all, Scilly’s boatmen make for a remarkable combination of island hopping capability, expertise and experience. You’ll feel safe and well informed – they always let you know about pick-up times and pick-up places – especially if the changing tides mean that you need to return from a different quay to the one you hopped off onto!
There are timetables chalked on boards at every turn, and many of the operators have their own Facebook pages and Twitter feeds letting you know the boat times. Tides mean that this isn’t like running a bus service, so always check. The good news is that all this flexibility means that the options are almost endless.

Official Airport Parking
Safe parking for long and short stays, easy on-site parking .
Don’t worry about finding a separate car park – we have plenty of parking in our two car parks, right next to the terminal. Land’s End Airport has plenty of parking for all passengers and is open to serve every Skybus departure and arrival.
We’ve also had 5 Electric Vehicle (EV) charging points installed for use by all café and airport visitors – full details below.
How to pre-book your parking
Land’s End Airport has plenty of parking for all passengers and is open to serve every Skybus departure and arrival. Our car parking system is operated and maintained by Armtrac Security Services and is controlled using two automatic number plate recognition cameras, located at the entrance/exit lanes to each of our two car parks.
Payment for parking can be made in two ways – it can either be pre-booked prior to your arrival through JustPark (you can pay via JustPark online, or via the JustPark App) or paid for when you depart using the Car Park Payment Machines. Car parking charges are the same if booked in advance or paid on the day.
JustPark App – available to download in the Apple App store or Android Play Store
JustPark Online – Click here to pre-book.
Parking at Land’s End Airport is a great, convenient way to start your holiday – but it’s not suitable if you’re returning to the mainland aboard Scillonian III, in which case you’d be better parking in Penzance and using our shuttle bus service.
Disabled parking is in both the south and north car parks. Spaces are allocated with a disabled parking sign and are approximately 50 meters from the terminal building. Please display your disabled car parking badge (Disabled parking is chargeable).
Please note:
Vehicles and their contents are parked at the owner’s risk and no liability is accepted for any loss or damage to the vehicle or contents or persons, however caused.
If you have booked your parking in advance and your travel has been disrupted, or you have extended your stay on the Isles of Scilly, you will need to pay at the pay stations or via the JustPark app for any additional parking time. We are unable to refund car parking charges due to flight delays or cancellations
Opening hours and Charges
Car park opening hours.
Monday to Saturday, all year around expect Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day. Car Parking Charges
There are three payment machines. One is located opposite the baggage reclaim point and the other two are located at the entrance/exit points of each car park. All machines are sheltered, and payment is made by entering the vehicle registration and the system will then advise on the amount that is due.

Land’s End Airport have installed 5 Electric Vehicle (EV) charging points. Each point provides up to 7kW of charging power from a standard 32Amp, Type 2 socket (you will need your own charging lead) and are available for use by all café and airport visitors.
The charging points are located in the Main (North) Airport car park.
The EV points are charges at 40p per kW.
