Florida Jeep Jam Off-Road Dunes Day Excursions are known as one of our top Jeep events and is something that we highly recommend doing while visiting Panama City Beach, Florida. Explore the natural beauty of Northwest Florida while taking your guided Jeep tour off-road and through 4,000 acres of paradise. Florida Jeep Jam is proud to offer these guided tours, currently available from Tuesday – Saturday. Your spot at one of Florida’s best off-road Jeep events is now ready to be reserved. Each excursion package is available to purchase separately. Only Jeeps that are registered for Florida Jeep Jam will be permitted to participate. There are 11 separate excursion times to choose from, including 3 night rides.

These 3-Hour off-road Jeep adventures are guided trail excursions, along the beautiful Intercoastal Waterway, that allows you the opportunity to take the Jeep off-road and see another reason why Panama City Beach has quickly become one the top Jeep events in the Southeast. We meet at the actual location a little before excursion start time and those directions will be privately shared with all registered Jeepers shortly before event starts. Get the most of your experience by arriving 30 minutes before your excursion start time.  Take your Jeep out on this massive 4,000-acre private property with sugar-white playgrounds of sand dunes as far as your eyes can see! When registering for Florida Jeep Jam, make sure to sign-up for the Offroad Excursion of your choice. If you’ve already pre-registered, simply login as an existing customer and purchase your excursion spot.

If you purchase on or before April 1, 2024, your excursion credentials will be mailed to you along with your event welcome package. All orders and registrations after March 31, 2024 can be picked up at the Welcome Window, located at the Florida Jeep Jam Village entrance. First pre-register your Jeep for Florida Jeep Jam and then reserve your Off-Road Sand Excursion time. Hurry because each of these rides have a limited availability.

You are not permitted to enter the Forest, or any off paved roads in any of our rentals alone.  We have Special Use Permits issued by The State of Florida Forest Department.  This violates our rental Terms & Conditions listed on the rental agreement.

The forest has many roads that are made of sand and you will sink, the brush is very thick in areas and will scratch the paint.  

The Forest does prescribe burns throughout different areas and it can be extremely unsafe if you are unaware of the burns. 

All the adventure and none of the hassle, trails are an incredible way to see the park without walking a single mile. Cruise down the park’s well-kept roads and experience Florida’s wildlife from the safety and comfort of one of our rental jeeps. 

Follow our lead jeep to see some of the best views the forest has to offer!  Each jeep in our tour convoy will receive a radio to communicate back and forth.

Groups or parties up to 20 are always welcome! We can have up to four jeeps on one tour!

TOUR DETAILS 

This is the perfect activity rain or shine!  15,000 acres of unspoiled Florida in its natural state. Placement between the bay and the gulf makes it an ecologically interesting place. All Jeeps on the tour will receive a radio to communicate back and forth.  The forest is home to native animals so be on the lookout for deer, fox, exotic birds, snakes, and if you are lucky a black bear.

In the event of severe weather or prescribed burns, Destin Jeep Rentals & Tours reserves the right to alter, modify, or cancel any tour due to unsafe conditions. PANAMA CITY BEACH — The tag line for the Florida Jeep Jam, returning to Panama City Beach on May 12-15, is "Go Topless!"

And it's hard to top what the Jeep Jam has accomplished in a few short years, as more than 2,000 Jeeps from nearly 20 states are expected to participate.

As promoted on the website, FloridaJeepJam.com, the event features a ton of Jeep-centered activities combined with family fun. But it's also charity-oriented, having donated tens of thousands of dollars to nonprofit groups in its first five years.

"Florida Jeep Jam 2020 included over $20,000 in charitable donations," organizers said in promotional materials for the event. "This year, we will be officially recognizing National Law Enforcement Week and U.S. Armed Forces Weekend, and plan on topping last year’s totals for charitable donations."

Mark Hess, executive director of the event, thanked all the volunteers for their hard work and commitment to the charity partners, as well as vendors who donated items for each year's Vendor Raffle.

"As a result, tens of thousands of dollars are raised and donated each year to our charity partners," Hess said in an online post. "We are proud to be a part of these efforts and thankful to our charity partners for all they do for our community throughout the year."

The sixth annual event will begin with the Topless Tuesday Pre-Party on May 11 at Hammerhead Fred’s. Off-Road Trail Excursions will take place Wednesday through Saturday, May 12-15 (but register soon, as the limited spaces are filling up fast), and the vendor village will open Friday through Saturday, May 14-15, at Frank Brown Park.

The vendors will include everything from Jeep parts, tires, tops and customization pieces to the latest Jeep-related fashions, jewelry, toys, food trucks and more.

The Jeep Obstacle Course will be open Thursday through Saturday, May 13-15, featuring a variety of hurdles to cross, including 20 tons of boulders, more than 1,800 yards of dirt, more than 20 power poles and more. Designed for Jeeps only by Rausch Creek Off Road Park and sponsored by Rock Krawler Suspension, it's a top activity for participants who want to prove what their vehicle can accomplish. There will also be nighttime runs on the course.

A spectator viewing area is accessible from the Vendor Village, and a film team will stream the obstacle course action to several LED TV screens.

Thursday, May 13, events will include a Poker Run in the afternoon to benefit Toys For Kids Foundation of Bay County, and a Kick-Off Party on Thursday night. All day Thursday, event participants can enjoy the Day at the Beach Party at Sharky’s Beachfront Restaurant.

The morning of Friday, May 14, starts with Topless for Turtles Jeep Beach Krawl, which is designed to help protect and preserve Florida’s natural habitat for sea turtles. Outdoor Movie Night is also on Friday.

The Jeep Show & Shine by MotoBilt starts with vehicles on display on Friday, May 14, with judging and awards Saturday, May 15. The Jeep Wash will also be Friday through Saturday, and live music will be the draw at the 4-by-4 Bar & Grill at Frank Brown Park on Thursday through Saturday. Frank Fletcher will play live at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at the 4x4 Bar & Grill.

Celebrate "National Go Topless Day" on Saturday, May 15, with the American SuperJeep Challenge Qualifier Round. Participants can meet special guest Courtney Hansen and view the making of the MotorTrend TV Show.

Panama City Beach has granted Florida Jeep Jam a special permit for a limited number for Jeeps to cruise along “The World’s Most Beautiful Beaches.” Preregistration is highly recommended.

Cap off the weekend with a Sunday morning beachside church service at Sharky's Beach Club, 15201 Front Beach Road, on May 16, followed by the official Blessing of the Jeeps.

Registration for Florida Jeep Jam 2021 includes armbands for the driver and up to four more passengers, unlimited access to the Obstacle Course, Vendor Village, Jeep Drive-In Movie Night, The Day at the Beach, the Jeep Poker Run and the Scavenger Hunt. Sign up begins Tuesday, May 11, and the participation deadline is noon Friday, May 14. Awards will be presented about 1:30 p.m. Friday at the 4x4 Bar & Grill.

With all the craziness going on in the world, we finally got out to visit Panama City for Florida Jeep Jam! In the past it’s always been a challenge to make it there due to other events we had scheduled. Even though everything was cancelled left and right, this event stuck and we headed out, excited… eager for some normalcy.

Along the way we stopped at shops to visit some of MetalCloak’s Authorized Installers and to check on them to get their take on our current state of affairs in the country. Shops across everywhere are super busy with projects and builds from customers eager to finally get their rigs finished. The one thing that we did encountered is that getting parts for those projects is challenging. Shipping is slow and back logged as manufacturers scramble to keep up with demands.

From state to state and city to city, the vibe and virus precautions were different. From things being closed or how we checked into a hotel, everything was different. When we arrived in Florida we felt some normalcy, like nothing had ever happened. With the exception of a few people here and there with masks on, beach time was in full swing!

Oh how I missed everyone!!! I know everyone was anxious to get out of “quarantine” and that is an understatement. I have never seen so many people packing in restaurants and the beach. Families seem to be taking their vacations all at once, hungry for social interactions. 

Not only do they host the best Jeep beach vacation in the Southeast, but registered Jeeps also help fund many worthy charities. Florida Jeep Jam 2020 included over $20,000 in charitable donations! This year they will be officially recognizing National Law Enforcement Week and US Armed Forces Weekend, and plan on topping last year’s totals for charitable donations.

This year was the 5th Year Anniversary of the event and keeps growing! Florida Jeep Jam has quickly earned the title of the “Fastest Growing Jeep Event in the Southeast”. Now is the time to start making plans to join Jeep owners from around the country for the Jeep invasion of Panama City Beach, Florida.

Florida Jeep Jam 2021 is scheduled to take place from May 12 – 15, 2021. Jeep activities start Tuesday and increase daily, leading up to the Kick-Off Party on Thursday Night and a long weekend full of awesome Jeep activities.

Jeep Beach Jam at Frank Brown Park

Thousands of jeep owners and enthusiast will gather here in Panama City Beach on May 17 th -21 st for the second Jeep Beach Jam! This five day family event, organized by the JBJ Productions, Inc. team, will be filled with many fun in the sun activities and will take place at many locations throughout the beach.

At Frank Brown Park, the stage will be set to host the Official Vendor Village. The Vendor Village will feature leading companies, both national and regional, providing brand new top of the line accessories, parts and other Jeep merchandise. There will be tents set up for workshop seminars, as well as Charity raffle tents, event merchandise and a kid’s zone. The Official Jeep Kids Zone will have large Jeep bounce houses, remote control Jeeps with obstacle courses and a safely built obstacle course for kids to put their skills to the test in two seated electric Jeeps!

Not to worry, adults will be able to test their skills too! A low-level playground excursion will be set up on a 55-acre area north of the beach by JBJ and will include obstacle courses and hill climbing. Get ready to buckle up and go for a thrilling ride!

Aside from the full throttle fun, there will be plenty of opportunities to relax and slow down the pace for the whole family too. Jeep participators will be able to sign up for events like the Scavenger Hunt and Poker Run, both strategically built around all of Panama City Beach for an exciting adventure. When night falls, be sure to grab some popcorn and check out the Official Outdoor Movie Night, hosted by Jeep Beach Jam, where a jumbo wide screen drive-in style projector will be set up.

For those participators looking to take in the sunset, cozy up on the sand at one of the Bonfire Excursions and listen to live music and enjoy some quality time with family and friends.

For the finale of the event, check out the concerts at Frank Brown Park, featuring some exciting artist. On Friday, May 19 th , catch Blackberry Smoke on the stage at 8pm, with gates opening at 6:30pm. Come Saturday, May 20 th , catch the parade through Pier Park beginning at 7pm and then enjoy chart topping Country music artist Craig Morgan, who will have up and coming artist, Maggie Rose, as an opener to what is sure to be a great show!
