About the Business
Established in 1967. Junior Tours is a boutique student tour company. For 45 years, we have prided ourselves in consistently delivering extraordinary customer service at affordable prices. Our loyal following of group leaders appreciates the individual personal attention you can only expect when dealing with a closely-held family business. Have you dealt with a student tour company owned by a large corporation where no one has the interest or authority to rapidly respond to your needs? Have you dealt with pushy commissioned salespeople who will say anything to get you to say "yes"; then hand you off to someone else the moment you do? Junior Tours was founded by a former school teacher in 1967 and remains true to its roots today. We are up front, straightforward and honest. Within five minutes of talking to us you will immediately see the difference. Give us a call today...you will be glad you did. …

Junior Tours has done it again, providing our group with an outstanding school trip! We just returned from Washington DC, where we took 53 middle school students and adults for a full six days. Our tour guide Clift was absolutely amazing. Working with our bus driver Mike, these two had the local knowledge to maximize our time and fill every moment of our trip with memories! Even with the COVID restrictions at some destinations, they were able to make adjustments to our itinerary and we were still able to fully enjoy the trip. Junior Tours provides a top-notch experience at a great price, going above and beyond with every detail.

We had a group of 28 locals from Washington State gather up our Mario coins and enjoy probably the BEST NYC tour experience EVER! 13 kiddos, 15 adults, one AMAZING tour guide, one bus driver who absolutely OWNED it like a boss. My family and I are still raving about it two weeks later! Beth (tour guide) and Clifford (bus driver).... You two will go down in history as the BEST! I've been in hospitality business for over 25 years.... Junior Tours nailed it! Thank you! 4/1/23-4/5/23
This Is a horrible company. They are nothing but thieves. Thier owner Robbed me of over $1000 dollars because I didn't understand travel insurance, and my child tested positive for covid the night of her Washington DC trip. He stated you are not entitled to a refund period you can try to contact the vendors, ( hotel airline etc?) and get a refund that way. I demanded an itemized receipt of what funds were paid to which sub vendor, and it was never sent. I called twice, asking for said again, and was told " the accountant was the only person who could provide that, that and she was out of office. do not send your student on any school trips if they use this vendor. They are liars, and thieves!!!
Daughter's trip was cancelled due to Covid and Junior Tours is refusing to provide a refund. In fact, the company isn't even responding to requests for an explanation from us or my daughter's school.
If I could give a zero rating I would. My group planned a trip to New York with Junior Tours. The trip was cancelled due to COVID-19. Junior Tours refuses to refund all of my money. I even purchased the insurance for the trip. I'd think twice before booking my trip with this company.
I have been using Junior Tours for 5 years and the reason is very simple - they are excellent at what they do. First and foremost, they are a small, family-centered business that puts a premium on customer service. Everyone in the office is friendly and reliable, right up to Rich, the president of the company, who is always willing to help out. Second, they really listen to what you want from your tour, and find ways to make it all fit. Third, their prices are fair, and you really feel that the students get the most for their money. I could go on and on and mention so many other factors that make them stand out, I highly recommend them and hope you give them a call - you won't be disappointed.
Everything about our middle school theater class trip went off without a hitch. We all had an amazing week thanks to Beth Newbery, our fabulous guide, and Samuel, our dependable driver. Everything ran smoothly, all events tickets and shows were planned in advance, and Beth was knowledgable about the city. Seriously, she's a doll!!

Tourists slammed for posing naked in popular desert spot: ‘very sickening’.

They de-nude-ed the landscape.
Another day, another instance of tourists disrespecting a landmark.
This time, foreign sightseers angered Namibian authorities after posing naked atop the legendary Big Daddy Dune in the Namib Desert, as seen in photos circulating on social media .
“It is very sickening and it really [creates] a bad image for Namibia,” Kenneth Nependa, vice-chairperson of the Federation of Namibian Tourism Associations, told the Namibian Sun, the BBC reported.
View this post on Instagram A post shared by The Namibian (@thenamibian)
He added that these antics risked attracting tourists who think that “anything goes” in the southern African nation.
Accompanying footage and video, snapped by an unknown source, shows the unnamed trio strutting about in their birthday suits atop the over 1,000-foot-tall sand mound, which is reportedly popular with families.
Visitors didn’t appreciate the tourists treating the scenic site like a nude beach and called on tourism officials to take action against the crass culprits.
Authorities haven’t yet publicly identified the sandy stripteasers, who allegedly left Namibia by the time authorities received the reports.
However, the nudists could be banned from entering the country’s parks, according to tourism ministers, who added that the “extremely shocking” act was public indecency and therefore punishable by local law.
In light of the indecent incident, officials are calling on visitors to report violators to authorities so they can deal with them accordingly.
“We appeal to that section of tourists to summon the conscience so that they do the right things,” declared Romeo Muyunda, a spokesperson for the ministry of environment, forestry and tourism.
However, many social media users disagreed that the incident was problematic.
“Why are they in trouble? They bothered no one,” an X user declared, according to the BBC, while another claimed that there is “nothing wrong with sunbathing.”
Big Daddy is one of the three largest dunes in Namibia’s Namib-Naukluft National Park and is a popular destination among sightseers looking to get a picturesque view from its crest.

Vodka Museum Tour with transport (excursion only)
Lena, our guide in Moscow was excellent. She was very knowledgable and could answer any question we had for her. We liked that she could pick up on our interests and take us places we might not have thought of to go. When we realized that one of the places we had chosen to see would probably not be that interesting to us, she was able to arrange entry to the Diamond Fund and the Armoury for us. Riding the Metro with Lena was a real adventure and a lot of fun. In Saint Petersburg we found Anna well versed in the history of the Tsars and in the Hermitage collection. Arkady in Veliky Novgorod was a very good guide and answered all of our questions with ease. Novgorod was perhaps a long way to go for a day trip, but we did enjoy it. Vasily was a great driver to have and kept us safe with good humour and skill. We enjoyed ourselves so much, my daughter says she is already planning to return. We would both have no hesistation to recommend ExpresstoRussia to anyone we know.
Just wanted to let you know that My grandson Bruno and I couldn´t have been more pleased with our week in Moscow (6/15 - 6/21). We were absolutely enchanted with the whole experience, including getting lost a couple of times in the Metro during our free time. Although both our guides (both Eleanas) were excellent, I would particularly commend the first one (she took us to the Tatiakov, the KGB tour, and to that beautiful cemetery where so many great Russian artists, authors, composers, musicians, militarists, and politicians are buried). Her knowledge is encyclopedic; and her understanding of today´s Russia as a product of its past was, for us, truly enlightening. I will be taking another tour in Russia, with my wife, within the next two or three years. I will be in touch with you when the time comes. Meanwhile, I will refer you to other potential visitors to Russia as I meet them.

Moscow, a City Like No Other
Moscow is Russia’s largest city with a population of between 12 and 13 million. It is also Europe’s largest city and when you visit Moscow, you can feel it. The layout and architecture of the city is eclectic, ranging from crooked, ancient streets and alleyways to wide, bustling boulevards, from medieval churches to Stalin skyscrapers and to modern, glass buildings towering over everything and of course in the center of it all is the Kremlin and the magnificent Red Square. Moscow is also home to a fantastic, efficient and very beautiful metro system – each station having its own special design. In fact, Express to Russia’s Moscow metro tours and excursions are some of our most popular attractions that we offer. On our Moscow tours, you will see this and more.
Moscow Tours centering on Russian History
Moscow has a long and interesting history and has been the capital of Russia in many of its different iterations – capital of the Grand Duchy of Moscow , the Russian Empire and of course the Soviet Union (who could ever forget the Soviet Union?). Moscow, was founded in the 12th century by Prince Yuri Dolgaruki (Yuri of the long arms – he really did have long arms!). From that time on, it was home to the Russian Tsars until Peter the Great moved the capital to St. Petersburg in 1703. The city has survived invasions and sieges from the Mongols, the Tartars, the Poles, Lithuanians and Napoleon but has always persevered. Our Moscow tours will enlighten you on this great history and give you insights into Muscovites and their unique culture. Our Moscow tours show you what the city is like today but also brings to life the past. Moscow never seems to sleep and is bursting with energy. A Moscow tour with Express to Russia is truly the best way of getting to know Russia’s largest and most vibrant city.
Frequently Asked Questions From Our Travelers
What is the best time to visit moscow.
Any time of year is fine depending on what you plan to do. Summertime is pleasantly warm, ideal for exploring the city and its vibrant atmosphere, but Moscow will be much busier and accommodation is more expensive. Winter can be quite cold but beautiful nonetheless, and this is unproblematic if you intend to spend most of your trip in museums and galleries. There are also various festivals and events organised throughout the year. For more information about the best time to visit, read our guide
How many days are enough in Moscow?
If you plan your itinerary strategically and aren’t averse to a packed schedule, you can cover Moscow’s main sights over a long weekend. Most popular attractions are in the city centre, and the Moscow Metro allows you to cover much ground in a small amount of time. Ensure that your accommodation is fairly central and book tickets in advance, so that you can make the most of your days. For an informative and well-organised day out, check out our Moscow day tours with options to suit all interests.
Do they speak English in Moscow?
As Russia’s capital city, tourists are well accommodated in Moscow. There should be English-speaking staff in restaurants, bars, hotels, shops and attractions in tourist hotspots, and there are also English-speaking tourist police. Transport services have English translations on their maps and English announcements via intercom; alternatively, order taxis from the Yandex Taxi app (Russian Uber), though it’s unlikely that your taxi driver will speak English. If you get stuck and cannot communicate, it’s fine to use Google Translate.
Is it safe to travel to Moscow?
It is no less safe to travel to Moscow than to any European city if you exercise common sense and look after your belongings. As with every city some regions can be more unsavoury than others, but no tourist attractions are located there. The traffic in Moscow is notorious, so exercise caution when crossing roads. Do not take unlicensed taxis; book in advance or take public transport, which is widespread and perfectly safe. If you encounter any problems, look for the special tourist police who can help you. For more information, read our guide about staying safe in Russia .

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Hannah Green won LPGA Tour’s JM Eagle LA Championship for the second straight year Sunday, holing out twice from off the greens in a pivotal back-nine stretch at challenging Wilshire Country Club.
A year after making a 25-foot birdie on the final hole of regulation and winning on the second hole of a playoff, Green — with help from Maja Stark — took the late drama out of this one for her fifth LPGA Tour victory and second of the year.
“It’s really kind to me,” Green said about the course. “I felt like a couple times today almost got like a member bounce. I, obviously, really am fond of the golf club and joked that they didn’t approve it with me that they were making alterations. I love it here.”
Green closed with a 5-under 66 to beat Stark by three strokes. The 27-year-old Australian, also the winner early last month in Singapore, finished at 12-under 272 on the tree-lined layout with poa annua greens that become bumpy late in the day.
Green began the key run with a chip-in birdie on the par-3 12th and made a 6-foot birdie putt on the par-5 13th. Then, after Stark bogeyed the par-4 16th two groups ahead, Green ran in a 25-footer for eagle from the fringe on 15 to open a four-stroke lead, and made it 5 under in five holes with a birdie on 16.
“When I chipped in on 12 I kind of felt like I really snagged one there,” Green said. “I really like the 13th hole and also played the 15th really well. When I made eagle on 15 that kind of sealed the deal. I did see Maja got it to 9 under so I know what I needed to do. Usually, I make it really tricky on myself and only win by a shot.”

Stark finished with a 68, rebounding from the bogey on 16 to birdie the final two holes. The 24-year-old Swede also finished second last week outside Houston in The Chevron Championship, two strokes behind top-ranked Nelly Korda in the first major of the year.
“I’m really proud of the way I’ve played,” Stark said. “I feel like I’ve hit a lot of good shots and I feel like my nerves kind of took over for a little while, but I was always able to get back to the normal — my normal state of mind.”
Haeran Ryu (69) was third at 6 under, followed by fellow South Korean players Jin Young Ko (67) and Jin Hee Im (72) at 5 under.
Grace Kim, four strokes ahead entering weekend after opening rounds of 64 and 66 and tied with Green for the lead after a third-round 76, finished with a 77 to tie for 25th at 1 under. She failed to make a birdie the final two days.
Korda withdrew from the Los Angeles event Monday, a day after her record-tying fifth straight victory.

Kelly oubre jr. wrecks lamborghini in car crash hours after sixers' game 2 loss, kelly oubre jr. wrecks lambo in car crash ... hours after game 2 loss.
Kelly Oubre Jr. lost a playoff game Monday night and then he lost his beloved car ... TMZ Sports has learned he wrecked his Lamborghini in a crash just hours after the Sixers fell to the Knicks in Game 2 of their postseason series.
The Philadelphia Police Dept. tells us the wreck happened at around 1:45 AM on Tuesday ... shortly after Oubre and the 76ers dropped a heartbreaker at Madison Square Garden, 104-101.
Cops say Oubre's 2021 matte purple Lambo "disregarded a red traffic signal" ... and plowed into a 2023 Hyundai Elantra.
Thankfully, cops say no one reported any injuries ... however, they did say both vehicles needed to be towed from the scene after sustaining damage.
The Sixers tell TMZ Sports the organization was aware of the accident.
It's obviously a tough blow for Oubre ... as he's spoken glowingly about the Lambo in the past -- even posing for pictures with it during a shoot with Intersection Magazine .
To add insult to injury, he and his Sixers have to win four out of the next five games against New York in order to advance in the postseason.
Oubre, though, will have a chance to get back on the right foot later Thursday ... as Philadelphia is slated to take on NY in Game 3 at the Wells Fargo Center at 4:30 PM PT.
We're told Oubre is expected to be in the lineup.

Chaperone Going on a Field Trip
Whether it will be your first time, or you already have the experience; whether you will give a part of your day or the whole day to spend time with a group — being a chaperone is an amazing experience!
At some point you will think to yourself: “How can they be sooo loud?” or “Oh, I don’t like kids!” But, at the end of the day, although exhausted, you will be thankful for such an opportunity.
So, here are some tips for your chaperone adventure:
Dress for action
Since you will be chasing the children in different places, make sure you have good shoes. Clothes should be light, but the jacket waterproof. Don’t forget the sunglasses and the hat!
Have enough water and snacks at hand
Make sure you are always well hydrated and grab the opportunities to have some snack, otherwise you will be exhausted very soon. The children will notice when you are down and out of energy. Yes, they are so smart!
Limit the use of your phone
Although for some chaperones there is work to do even when they are on a field trip, because of the safety of the ones you are accompanying, we kindly recommend that you stay off your phone!
Be careful with the photos
It’s great to take photos of the children when on a trip, just make sure the parents are okay with your posting of their children on Social Media.
Instead of that, a great idea would be to make a photo book and give it as a gift to all those in a group!
Because of the safety, you should be careful to count the children when they leave or rejoin the group for some reason (getting off the bus, going to the bathroom).
Many counting will be necessary, but it’s better to be safe than sorry!
Exhaust them
If you should enter the museum with seven-year-olds, make sure they have had some brisky activity before that, like climbing the hill. If they are out of breath, they don’t have the energy to behave badly.
You will be grateful to us for giving you these tips!

Travis Kelce Calls Taylor Swift 'My Significant Other' and Auctions Off Eras Tour Tickets at Patrick Mahomes' Gala

Travis Kelce is showing love to his girlfriend Taylor Swift !
The NFL star, 34, called Swift, 34, his “significant other” in a cute moment as the couple attended their friend Patrick Mahomes ’ The 15 and Mahomies Foundation Golf Classic gala in Las Vegas on April 27.
Kelce made the affectionate reference as he got up onstage during an auction at the gala to announce that Swift had agreed to put four tickets for her Eras tour up for auction at the event.
In a clip from the gala posted on TikTok , auctioneer Harry Santa-Olalla, who appeared to be hosting the auction portion of the evening, joined Kelce onstage. Santa-Olalla also noted in the caption of a video he posted on Instagram Stories of the moment that Kelce had “convinced” Swift to add the four tickets.
Speaking to guests, Kelce said, “I think, um, I was just talking to my significant other,” — referring to Swift, who was seen in footage posted on X (formerly Twitter) sitting beside Patrick and his wife Brittany Mahomes at the gala — “and uh, we might have one other auction item that wasn’t on the docket.”
Kelce then asked, “Has anyone heard of the Eras tour?” as guests in the room cheered loudly in response.

In another video posted on X from the gala, Swift waved what appeared to be a red napkin from her seat as Kelce and Santa began auctioning off her concert tickets.
Santa-Olalla then said to Kelce, as the camera panned across the room over to where he stood, "Who would actually pay hundreds of thousands just to know Taylor Swift is actually cheering you on as you're winning 4 of her tickets — this is insane! Let's go!"

Kelce laughed in response as he waved what appeared to be a yellow napkin. He then shouted as the auction started, “Let’s go baby!” Swift’s tour tickets sold for an incredible $80,0000 in the end, Santa shared in the caption of an Instagram post about the night.
Earlier in the evening, Kelce and Swift were seen in a video posted on X by an attendee at the gala making their arrival together at the event. The pair held hands as they walked past guests to their table to join the Mahomes.
The couple were described as “super adorable” and “down to earth” by the attendee in the caption of the clip.
"NBD. Just T Swift and her man Travis Kelce," they wrote over the video. "And they are super adorable together. So down to earth & kind ... Just super cool badass human beings."
The day before attending the gala on April 26, Kelce and Swift — who released her new album The Tortured Poets Department on April 19 — were spotted on a double date with the Mahomes at Easy's Cocktail Lounge inside the ARIA Resort & Casino on the Las Vegas Strip.

Miles Russell, 15, becomes youngest to make cut on Korn Ferry Tour

Top-ranked AJGA player opens in 68-66 at LECOM Suncoast Classic
Change Text Size
Miles Russell, 15, isn’t particularly nostalgic. When it was time to switch golf balls midway through the opening round of the Korn Ferry Tour’s LECOM Suncoast Classic, the No. 1-ranked AJGA player considered singling out his first ball as a keepsake. Alas, it made its way into the fray at the bottom of his golf bag.
Yet it stands to reason this week will linger in Russell’s mind forever – and if not, it will be etched in the history books anyway. Russell carded rounds of 68-66 at Lakewood National Golf Club’s Commander course, becoming the youngest player to make the cut in a Korn Ferry Tour event and joining Guan Tian Liang (age 14 / 2013 Masters and Zurich Classic of New Orleans) as the only players under 16 to make a cut on the PGA TOUR or Korn Ferry Tour, on record (since 1983). Russell surpasses the Korn Ferry Tour mark previously set by Gipper Finau (16 years, 20 days) at the 2006 Utah Championship presented by Zions Bank. Russell set the new mark at 15 years, 5 months, 18 days.
"That's a cool one for me," Russell said. "It's a cool record, and hopefully it will get broken."
This week marked Russell’s PGA TOUR-sanctioned debut, competing on a sponsor exemption, and he has quickly shown that he belongs. After a 3-under 68 in Thursday’s opening round, Russell had one stroke of cushion on the projected cut line, and he further separated himself with two eagles on the front nine Friday – coming at the 282-yard, par-4 fourth and 563-yard, par-5 ninth. He added birdies at Nos. 10 and 11, fell back with a bogey at the par-3 13th but finished with five straight pars to end three strokes inside the cut line.
He'll enter the weekend in a share of 26th place at 8-under 134, six back of 36-hole leader Brandon Crick.
"I knew it was going to be a good test to see where I am against some of the best," Russell said. "It's definitely something I'll remember even when times will get hard; I'll remember it when that happens and go with the flow."
In the context of Russell’s robust list of junior accomplishments, this feat should come as no surprise. Last fall, he became the youngest winner of the AJGA Boys Junior Player of the Year award, surpassing Tiger Woods, his year including a seven-stroke victory at the Junior PGA Championship and a three-shot win at the Junior PLAYERS (which included a second-round 66 at TPC Sawgrass’ PLAYERS Stadium Course).
Although he’s a high school freshman, navigating classes like Earth science and geometry, Russell has carried himself like a pro this week in his home state of Florida (Lakewood National, just outside Bradenton, is located roughly four hours from his hometown of Jacksonville Beach.) Perhaps diminutive in nature for now, the left-hander already generates swing speed that compares to the average TOUR pro and is still growing – suggesting he could become one of the game’s longer hitters in years to come. Combine that with a creative short game, high golf IQ and inquisitive mind – “he’s like a sponge,” said his longtime swing and skills coach Ramon Bescansa – and a successful pro career could be in his future.
Not that he’s taking it for granted. Between shots in a Tuesday practice round at Lakewood National, Russell expressed appreciation for this week’s opportunity and the chance to work toward a career as a professional golfer overall.
“I’ve always wanted to be able to do it," Russell said Tuesday of eventually pursuing professional golf. "To have the chance to do it would be even cooler, and then to be able to do it would be awesome. I think it would just be cool to do something I love, and there’s not much more I love than this.”
The top 25 finishers and ties at the LECOM (not otherwise exempt) will gain access to next week’s Veritex Bank Championship in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. Russell is eligible for this perk, but he’s not eligible to earn non-member Korn Ferry Tour points toward Special Temporary Membership, as the minimum age for Korn Ferry Tour membership is 18.
For now, Russell has secured two more competitive rounds against the pros this weekend, having authored a slice of Korn Ferry Tour history.
"I'm kind of speechless," Russell said Friday. "The goal was to make the cut and we made it, so we'll see where the weekend goes.
"It's a cool record to break. I don't know how much longer ... people are getting so good, so young. It could hold out for a week, you never know, but it's pretty cool right now."
