Lana Del Rey is an American indie-pop singer-songwriter known for her melancholic music and exploration of cinematic themes. An aesthetic and auditory experimentalist, Del Rey draws on different concepts and music genres for each album, resulting in a constantly-shifting style.

She boasts six Grammy Awards, two Brit Awards, and a Golden Globe Award to her name.

Lana Del Rey was born Elizabeth Woolridge Grant in 1995 in New York City, NY. When she was a year old, her family moved to Lake Placid, NY. There, she began singing in her local church as a cantor in the girls’ choir.

At age 14, the singer began struggling with alcohol as a way to cope with depression and anxiety. She was sent to boarding school by her parents to get her sober. After graduating, she lived on Long Island for a year with her aunt and uncle. Her uncle taught her to play the guitar in between her waitressing shifts. Soon after, she began writing her own songs.

Grant moved back to New York City in 2004, where she enrolled at Fordham University. The philosophy major began performing at nightclubs under different names, like “Sparkle Jump Rope Queen.”

In 2006, Grant appeared at the Williamsburg Live Songwriting Competition. There, she met A&R representative Van Wilson of 5 Points Records who ended up signing her. After graduating in 2008, she released a three-track EP, Kill Kill, under the name Lizzie Grant. Her planned album was later shelved by the label, and the singer focused her efforts instead on homeless outreach and supporting those in drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

In 2010, Grant released a self-titled debut album as the alter-ego Lana Del Rey. The album was released in early that year, but was soon pulled from the shelves by the singer because she didn’t believe the label was doing enough to publicize it.

In 2011, Lana Del Rey uploaded homemade music videos for her songs “Video Games” and “Blue Jeans” to YouTube. The video for “Video Games” went viral, catching the attention of Stranger Records. The label later signed her and released the song as her debut single. The same month, she signed a joint deal with Interscope and Polydor Records to release her second studio album.

Born to Die dropped in 2012, supported by four more singles. The song “Summertime Sadness” peaked at number six on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, making it Del Rey’s highest charting single in the U.S. to date. Critics responded with mixed reviews; some praised the album for its distinct sound, while others complained it was too melodramatic. Among fans, though, it was a hit. The album sold 3.4 million copies in its first year and spent 36 weeks on the Billboard 200 chart.

In support of Born to Die, Del Rey made high-profile appearances at the Bowery Ballroom in New York City, and the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles. She also appeared on the TV shows Later with Jools Holland and Saturday Night Live.

Following the release of Born to Die, Del Rey won a number of awards, including an MTV Europe Music Award for Best Alternative Act and a Brit Award for Best International Female Solo Artist. In 2012, she reissued her second album as Born to Die: The Paradise Edition. The expanded album featured eight new singles, which were also made available on the standalone EP, Paradise. Three of the singles comprised the soundtrack for Lana Del Rey’s 2013 short film, Tropico, directed by Anthony Mandler.

Del Rey’s follow-up album, Ultraviolence, arrived in 2014. With its title drawn from Anthony Burgess’ dystopian novel, A Clockwork Orange, the album was produced by The Black Keys’ Dan Auerbach and featured the singles “West Coast,” “Shades of Cool,” and “Ultraviolence.” While Ultraviolence was darker and more stripped-back than its predecessor, it has nevertheless garnered similar success, debuting at number one in 12 countries and selling over 880,000 copies in its first week.

In 2015, Lana Del Rey released her fourth studio album, Honeymoon, which marked a return to the more baroque-pop style of her earlier work. The album debuted at number two on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart and peaked at number one in three countries. It was supported by the singles “High by the Beach” and “Music to Watch Boys To.”

Two years later, in 2017, the singer followed up with a hip-hop inspired album, Lust for Life. It debuted at the top of the U.S. Billboard 200 chart, making it Lana Del Rey’s second number-one album. The title track, featuring The Weeknd, peaked at number 64 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Lana Del Rey’s career showed no signs of slowing down from there. Her sixth studio album, Norman Fucking Rockwell!, was released in August 2019. The soft-rock record received widespread acclaim and was nominated for two Grammys. That September, Del Rey was featured on the single “Don’t Call Me Angel” with Ariana Grande and Miley Cyrus. The song appeared on the soundtrack for the 2019 movie Charlie’s Angels.

In 2020, the singer released her first book — a collection of poetry and photography named Violet Bent Backwards over the Grass. The book was accompanied by a corresponding spoken word album.

Lana Del Rey’s seventh studio album, Chemtrails over the Country Club, dropped in March 2021. This folk record debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 chart, becoming the singer’s seventh Top 10 album in the U.S. She followed it up with Blue Banisters, her eighth studio album, that October. It debuted at number eight on the same chart.

At the beginning of 2022, Lana Del Rey released a new song, “Watercolor Eyes,” which was featured on the soundtrack for the second season of the TV series Euphoria. The singer is currently working on her ninth studio album.

Live reviews

Santo & Johnny were a musical duo from Brooklyn who had a #1 hit with an instrumental song titled “Sleep Walk”. That was back in 1959. Highlights from the Red Rocks season that year included Ricky Nelson and Harry Belfonte. Elizabeth Woolridge Grant wouldn’t be born for another 26 years. She wouldn’t arrive at Red Rocks for another two decades. The first time the young singer-songwriter gazed upon the stage in Morrison, she made herself a promise – one day she would perform on that stage. If I were with her on that day, I would have encouraged the 19-year-old Lizzy Grant, but I wouldn’t have bet on her. Not until I’d seen her shed her skin and become someone else entirely would I have believed she was capable of packing every seat with hysterical, screaming fans. Some will argue that Grant never actually achieved her goal. They will say that the girl who played acoustic guitar and sang coffeeshop love songs had to die in order for someone else to be born. That’s not entirely true though. Lizzy Grant is still very much alive. No matter how self-destructive Lana Del Rey might seem, she is only a character that Grant plays on stage. Living fast, dying young, and leaving a beautiful corpse isn’t a new concept, but it’s also not one Grant lives by.

Lana Del Rey is the one who thinks she lives in Brooklyn in the ’60s. She is the one who takes the stage to Santo & Johnny as if they are generational peers. She’s in the little blue dress and designer pumps. She smokes cigarettes and sings songs about sex, drugs and booze. She glamorizes dying young and leaving that beautiful face forever unchanged. Lana Del Rey does all of this so Lizzy Grant can achieve her goals. She does all of this so Lizzy Grant can make a living. Lana Del Rey sacrifices herself so Lizzy Grant can live a long, comfortable life, free from all those tragic things Lana Del Rey sings about. Lana Del Rey is the reason Lizzy has been able to sell out two consecutive shows at Red Rocks.

I just hope the thousands of young girls with flowered headbands understand this truth about Lana Del Rey. I hope they understand that the persona is pure entertainment and marketing genius. I hope they understand that she is not a role model. Luckily, my daughter does understand this. That’s why I don’t mind her listening to Lana Del Rey albums and going to Lana Del Rey concerts. But I would be lying if I said it didn’t make me a little nervous to be surrounded by teenage girls last night…each one screaming the following lyrics with such joy…

“I got your bible and your gun,

And you love to party and have fun.

And I love your women and all of your heroin,

And I’m so happy now that you’re gone.”

I saw Lana in Brisbane at Riverstage during the Lust For Life tour, and I cannot express how talented she is. The show was amazing, she had an amazing set up and the venue was beautiful, as was her voice. Her opener was BØRNS and his music was a perfect way to open the show and got everyone hyped for Lana. Bless her soul, she came on stage during BØRNS's set and welcomed everyone and thanked us all for showing support for BØRNS, which was a beautiful thing and I can promise you I cried the second she started talking. The $119 was entirely worth it, and although I never made it to the mosh, the lucky souls who got close enough got to take selfies, give her presents, and just talk with her in the middle of her set. She has so much respect for her fans, some of which I met at the show, and they were some amazing people. Lana perfomed songs from all her albums and her sound setup was clear and loud. I wish she had played Groupie Love or God Bless America - And All The Beautiful Women In It, but I got to hear her perform songs I never thought I'd get to hear live and the four years worth of waiting for her to come back to Australia was entirely worth it. If you like her music, I highly recommend taking the opportunity to see her play because she is a literal goddess and that concert blew all my expectations out of the water. By far the best live perfomance I've seen.

Journeying from a small-town singer-songwriter back at age 18, Lana Del Rey skyrocketed through the music industry, landing herself a slot in the top 10 album charts by the age of 21. Her music is noted for its cinematic sounds and reflections on 50s and 60s music culture. Although her live performances can sometimes be slightly pitchy, you can’t blame her performing to such large audiences, and she never fails to put on a spectacular show.

Always looking flawless, Lana carries herself with grace and confidence, both appealing characteristics of a live performer. Whilst her live performances are magical and the sound of her beautiful melodies transcends through the audience, in some ways she is an artist meant for recording purposes. Her dulcet tones tend to get lost in a stadium, however this could be the fault of sound technicians rather than Lana herself.

Regardless of this, if you are a fan of her music, I would recommend checking her our live, as the emotion that she portrays through her music is extremely powerful to experience first hand. She also has great moments of interaction with the audience, so if you are able to secure a spot in a front row seat, you won’t be disappointed.

Absolutely phenomenal. I joke with my friends that after going to this concert, it was a night that I had died and became reborn again. The venue, the Atlanta Tabernacle was beautiful and perfectly fit for her. As a Lana groupie, the amazing connection among the fans there made it feel like I was amongst family. It was almost magical the feeling I received when everyone in the room sang her hits together in unison, because everyone knew all the words. General Admission tickets are encouraged for people who are interested in meeting Lana. She spent so much time talking and taking photos with her fans, signing autographs, everything with her fans. She pays so much attention to them during her concerts, If you have a genuine desire to meet her, I'd say camping out and waiting for hours is definitely worth it.

She has her props and they compliment her performance very nicely. Her voice is beautiful live and she sang songs from each of her albums. Although I was disappointed that she didn't sing Yayo or Diet Mountain Dew, as I had hoped. I would easily say that this night was the greatest of my life. So much so, that I purchased tickets for Music Midtown just to see her again.

The show had an excellent, very relaxed vibe. Lana put on an amazing performance and had a number of guest artists come up on stage with her to perform as well. She seemed to be enjoying herself. As always her voice sounded like warm honey and rung out with a powerful yet melancholic air. She truly is like a goddess on this earth. When my ex said she'd leave me for Lana I couldn't even blame her; I'd leave me for Lana too.

I wish I had gone with a group of people, instead of alone, so I could more properly enjoy the atmosphere on the floor.

The visuals and sound of the concert were good, not too loud (compared to some concerts), and pretty nicely balanced. Overall it was an excellent experience. Only ways it might have been improved for me is: coming with friends, being mildly intoxicated, and being able to actually see the stage properly/being closer to the front, or being on the ground on a blanket or quilt lounging.

I definitely recommend experiencing a show of hers if you are a fan and get the chance. Go with friends or a significant other, and enjoy the raw power and energy Lana gives off.

The choice of environment was absolutely perfect, I could see clearly how the medieval castle and the sunset would match Lana's dreamy vocals. The thing is, it took a while for Lana herself to appear. We waited from 3pm to about 7 or 8pm, with the guest appearances of some really weird rapper that couldn't be more different from the main act and the handsome Tamino, who blew everyone away with his music. But when Lana finally showed up on stage it was pure magic. It was very well decorated with her traditional old Hollywood romantic style. Lana was very interactive and talked to the crowd while signing records and posters on long instrumental moments of Venice Bitch. She was as sweet as possible and we were left questioning if it hadn't been all a dream.

I bought my tickets as soon as the presale started and was thrilled to score pit tickets. Unfortunately, the concert I had been looking forward to for months made me miserable. The pit was completely packed with sweaty fans who were drunk and high. During my time there, I got a frozen margarita accidentally poured on me, got puked on, got my hair pulled, butt grabbed, and got my back completely scratched (by fans who thought they would get a better view if they sunk their nails into my skin.) I now know better than to buy pit tickets. I am so sad to say that I left early and couldn't finish seeing my favorite artist because of the terrible pit circumstances.

Lana del Rey is truly a godess. This was my second time seeing her in concert and it did not ever let me down or disappoint me, just like the first time I saw her. She sang beautifully and heavily interacted with the crowd which made it feel personal and intimate. I wish she would have sang more from untraviolence, but I was happy to hear some of the classics again. The only problem I had with this concert was the organization of the venue. There was a "no lining up" rule which caused for very hectic and stressed out fans. All in all it was absolutely amazing and I can not wait to see Lana again in concert. I would even go back to this venue for her.

After months worth of hype and buying my tickets as soon as possible, I couldn't wait to see Lana Del Rey, but unfortunately, it wasn't worth the hype at all. Lana's show essentially bored me, and sure, you could argue it was just 'her style' of music. But I've been to quieter shows, and this one just lacked any sort of energy despite having a whole arena in her palm. She singed her melodies with ease, but throughout, I could never get into the music and by the time I could, her set was already over. Overall, Lana is perhaps worth seeing cheap, but at $60 a ticket for mediocre seats, I can't recommend her.

dankhank21’s profile image

I did not think it was possible but Lana Del Rey sounds even more incredible live than in studio. The only negative thing was that the doors opened pretty early and she came on a little later on so the wait was around 2 hours with no music or support act, however it was completely worth it once the show started and she sounded absolutely angelic. The set list seemed a little short but had a great selection of songs from throughout her career from Born to Die to Ride to Music to Watch Boys to and White Mustang. I'd definitely recommend going to her shows at least once in your life if you are a fan.

What is Lana Del Rey's most recent album 'Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd' about?

Del Rey's most recent album, "Did You Know That There's a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd" debuted on March 24, 2023.

In a conversation with fellow musician Billie Eilish for Interview Magazine , Del Rey said she wrote the album with many of her friends and it's just "straight vibing."

"...With this album, the majority of it is my innermost thoughts," she said, adding that some of the songs are "super long and wordy."

"I’d go on a 7-minute rant with a repetitive melody," she said. "It would be exactly what I was thinking about, mostly family and whether everything was going to pan out alright in the end."

She later added that much of the album "is based on the concerns or hopes in my mind."

Is there an actual tunnel under Ocean Boulevard?

Del Ray is known for her connection to the Los Angeles area with her songs often referring to locations in the area.

In the album's titular song, Del Rey gives us some clues about which tunnel she is referring to:

Did you know that there’s a tunnel under Ocean Boulevard? / Mosaic ceilings, painted tiles on the wall

I can’t help but feel somewhat like my body marred my soul / Handmade beauty sealed up by two man-made walls

It sounds like she is talking about the Jergins Tunnel, located in Long Beach, California.

The Long Beach Public Library posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, confirming the tunnel's existence and attached photos that seemingly match the song's lyrical description.

"Did you know that there’s a tunnel under Ocean Blvd? Yup! It’s called the Jergins Tunnel and it opened in 1928 and closed to the public in 1967," Long Beach Public Library posted on Dec. 7, 2022 . "The tunnel ran under Ocean Blvd. and provided access to the Pike and beach, via the Jergins Trust building at 100 E. Ocean Boulevard."

This post may contain affiliate links. Ads and affiliate links are how independent blogs like Grimy Goods can operate and pay our staff. Thank you for supporting our work and being a part of our music community.

Kicking off her tour on Sept. 14 in Franklin, TN — Lana Del Rey also has tour stops in Austin, TX, Dallas, TX, Huntsville, AL, Tampa, FL, Charlotte, NC, Burgettstown, PA, and more tour dates. Nikki Lane  will join Lana Del Rey on tour as the supporting act. Show up early, so you can catch her magnetic voice.

SEE THE FULL LIST OF LANA DEL REY TOUR DATES

For now, it seems Lana Del Rey is mainly touring the South, which makes her waitressing stint at the Waffle House all the more understandable. After performing at a variety of music festivals around the world since May of 2023, Lana is just barely getting started with her headline U.S tour.

Will Lana Del Rey announce West Coast tour dates? While Lana Del Rey’s West Coast tour dates for cities like Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, Seattle , etc., have yet to be announced, we’re more than sure another leg of her U.S. tour will be announced for 2024, if not the end of 2023. So just stay patient and be sure to keep checking for new tour dates .

When Do Lana Del Rey Tickets Go On Sale?

Tickets to Lana Del Rey will go on sale to the general public on Friday, Aug. 25 at 10am local time. You do not need a Lana Del Rey presale code to take part in the general on sale. Official Platinum tickets will also be available. Learn more about Official Platinum tickets below.

What is the Lana Del Rey Presale Code?

As of today (Monday, Aug. 21) there does not appear to be a Lana Del Rey presale listed on any of the just-announced tour dates. The general public on-sale will begin Friday, Aug. 25 at 10am; however, it doesn’t mean there is not a Lana Del Rey presale code option. You never know though with Lana, she is always full of delightful surprises . We highly recommend you register for her exclusive updates in case she drops a surprise presale code.

What Are Those Official Platinum Tickets?

If you’re seeing very expensive tickets that are not VIP, those are official platinum tickets. These tickets are very expensive and are offered well over the standard ticket prices. They’re the kind of ticket pricing that is unfair to fans. The Event Organizer(s) has priced these tickets according to their market value (aka dynamic pricing). In other words, ticket pricing can go up or down, and it usually goes up.

Artists can choose not to offer Official Platinum or limit the amount for charity purposes. The Cure , Pearl Jam and U2 have all been recognized as artists that don’t use these dynamic pricing tactics.

Official platinum tickets do not include VIP packages. The only positive thing about them is they make buying floor or front-row tickets to a high-demand concert very easy if you’re willing to shed the extra coin. They can be bought during a presale without a presale code (doesn’t always apply to Verified Fan). Availability and pricing for official platinum tickets are subject to change based on demand.

If money is not an object, you should definitely bank on the convenience of getting Official Platinum tickets.

What To Do If Tickets Are Sold Out?

If tickets sell out, your other option is to buy them via online resellers like VividSeats or StubHub. When all else fails, we prefer these resell options because both offer a 100% Guarantee. You can also purchase resell tickets through Ticketmaster’s resell program. Just search for the concert or event you want to attend , and see if they have any resell tickets available. We recommend you compare the three options and find out which works best for you.

Alternatively, you can hit it old school style and show up at the concert when the box office opens and wish upon a star that they release more tickets, or hopefully, another concert-goer has an extra ticket to sell at face-value or even giveaway for free. Trust, this happens more often than not! We’ve given away many tickets to sold-out shows simply because our +1 couldn’t make it.

Also, more standard tickets are often released via Ticketmaster 1-3 days leading up to the show date. We’ve seen it with Beyonce , Taylor Swift , Arctic Monkeys and many more! It’s a secret gatekeeped by many, but if you’re reading this, now you know! So be sure to set your calendar notifications!

STUDIO CITY HOMES FOR SALE | FOR LEASE | SOLD | UNLISTED

Lana Del Rey, the queen of modern melancholia, has made a grand return in 2023. Propelled to fame in 2011 with her hauntingly beautiful single ‘Video Games’, Del Rey has left an indelible mark on the music industry, weaving stories of love, heartbreak, and glamour with her evocative voice. Just when you think she has reached the pinnacle of her career, Del Rey surprises us yet again. This year, the ‘Summertime Sadness’ singer has made the headlines with her experimental new album, ‘Ocean Blvd’, and a captivatingly late appearance at the Glastonbury festival concert in England, a delay amusingly attributed to her elaborate hairdo . But what’s been most intriguing is her recent foray into real estate, and her stunning homes have been garnering as much attention as her music. | VIDEO

A Glimpse into the World of Lana Del Rey’s Homes With an estimated net worth of $30 million as of 2023, Del Rey has invested in some prime real estate that’s reflective of her unique style and personality. The ‘Born to Die’ singer currently spends most of her time off-stage in her luxurious properties in Studio City, Los Angeles, having bought not one but two hillside properties there in 2016, together amounting to a $6 million real estate portfolio, Check out the photos and details at VelvetRopes.com and StrangeBuildings.com .

Her first acquisition, a stunning 5,432 square foot estate purchased for $3.7 million, is an elegant blend of history and modernity. Despite being built in 1936, this home features a host of contemporary upgrades. A chrome-tastic backsplash in a spacious kitchen with double stoves and ovens, a grand oversized granite island with seating, and six luxurious bedrooms with the master suite featuring a fireplace and a vast ensuite are just a few examples of the opulence this house provides. One look at the breathtaking view from this hilltop residence will have you agreeing with Del Rey’s decision to acquire the house next door, a move that grants her ample privacy.

Her second purchase in Studio City is a $2.1 million property featuring a 2,829 square foot home with vaulted, beamed ceilings, a modest yet spacious kitchen, and a formal dining area. It too, built in 1936, emanates a charming old-world vibe, its master suite providing a comfy-looking space that might appear slightly less extravagant than its modern counterparts but is, nonetheless, an embodiment of cozy sophistication. The residence includes a massive attached guest house equipped with its own full kitchen, bedroom, living room, and bathroom. With a vast swimming pool nestled amidst lush trees, a large deck, and the surrounding landscape’s fantastic view, this property mirrors the private and enchanting world that Del Rey’s music often evokes.

Lana Del Rey’s Malibu Home Before her Studio City investments, Del Rey owned a picturesque beach home in Malibu. Purchased in 2015 for $3 million and sold in 2018 for $3.2 million, this 2,800 square foot estate, perched atop a cliffside, encapsulated the serenity and luxury of Malibu living. With 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a luxurious family room, a living room equipped with a wet bar and wine storage, and a custom kitchen featuring tons of cabinet and counter space, the house is a blend of comfort and style. The master suite boasts a fireplace and glass pocket doors that open onto an expansive balcony, providing a spectacular view of the ocean below. Fans might recognize this residence from Del Rey’s music video for ‘High By the Beach’, underscoring how her personal life often finds its way into her artistic expression. Lana’s Malibu property, though no longer owned by her, still carries a mystic allure. The quaint estate was built in 1951 and is perched on a cliffside, offering breathtaking panoramic views. It surely was a serene haven for the artist when she called it home.

In 2018, Lana was said to have owned a rustic, somewhat “modest” shabby chic luxury cabin in Echo Park, according to HouseDigest.com and Wmagazine .

Let’s now turn our focus to Lana’s newest album “Ocean Blvd”, named after the exciting, memorable times she spent around Ocean Boulevard. As one tries to unravel the music of Lana Del Rey, it is hard to ignore the context in which it was created. The album, she shared, is heavily influenced by her experiences in her 20s, a time when she walked past a closed tunnel under Ocean Boulevard by Cherry Park in Long Beach at night. This very specific memory painted a vivid picture of youth, friendship, and a warm ocean breeze. The album is an attempt to translate those feelings into music, drawing on memories of unbridled enthusiasm and intoxicating social experiences.

The first single off “Ocean Blvd” reflects Lana’s signature melancholic style that’s earned her a dedicated fanbase over the years. She weaves tales of youth and memories with her captivating storytelling, grounded in the nostalgic aura of Ocean Boulevard. Though the album’s success is yet to be measured, it has already created a buzz among fans and critics alike, especially following Lana’s late appearance at the Glastonbury festival.

Notwithstanding the fact that her hair took too long to do, causing her to arrive late to the iconic festival, Lana still managed to steal the show. Her presence on stage was met with a resounding cheer from the crowd, indicative of the love and respect she has garnered over her career. A fact that lends itself to the conclusion that the new album will indeed be well-received.

On a personal level, Del Rey, now 37, seems content with her life. Her rumored boyfriend Jack Donoghue, a fellow musician, is often seen with her in cozy pictures on social media, hinting at a potential relationship, though neither has confirmed it. Del Rey is not just a musical artist; she also dabbles in poetry, with her book “Violet Bent Backwards Over the Grass” published in 2020.

Lana Del Rey’s illustrious career has been a reflection of her distinct taste in art, which includes her choice of homes. Her properties in Studio City and Malibu embody her preference for style and her love for the Californian lifestyle. With each song, she transports us to a world that is uniquely hers, while her residences offer us a glimpse of her personal space and lifestyle. As we eagerly anticipate the release of “Ocean Blvd”, we know it will be a reflection of the myriad experiences that shape Lana Del Rey’s world, her home. A world that she has built over the years through her music, her poetry, her residences, and her personal journey.

Her real name may be Elizabeth Woolridge Grant, but the world knows and loves her as Lana Del Rey. As we continue to follow her journey, we can only expect more of the enchanting melodies and lyrical poetry that is characteristic of her. And while she keeps surprising us with her transformative art, there’s no denying the authenticity of her storytelling.

Her forthcoming album “Ocean Blvd” promises to transport us yet again into her rich narrative universe. The album’s first single, filled with nostalgic undertones, promises to be a heartfelt reflection of her experiences in her 20s. The rest of the album, no doubt, will follow suit, offering more glimpses into her past and her emotions tied to it.

Beyond her new album, Lana Del Rey’s plans for the future remain a mystery. Whether she’s contemplating a new poetry book, planning another evocative music video, or pondering over the next real estate investment to reflect her evolving self, her fans will be waiting eagerly.

One thing is clear: Lana Del Rey’s story is far from over. Through her music, she continues to reveal different facets of herself and her experiences, shaping and re-shaping our understanding of who she is as an artist and a person. Every album, every property, every poetry collection – they all reflect the world as she sees it, the world as she lives it.

And so, we eagerly anticipate her next steps. Whether it’s through the intimate, emotive lyrics of a new song, the purchase of another quintessentially Lana Del Rey property, or her candid social media posts, we look forward to learning more about this enigmatic artist and the world she crafts around her. The world of Elizabeth Woolridge Grant, known to us as Lana Del Rey.

Through her evolution, through the highs and lows of her career, one thing remains certain: Lana Del Rey will continue to captivate us with her unique blend of authenticity, artistry, and raw emotion. And we, her dedicated fans and followers, will be here, waiting to experience the next chapter in her artistic journey.

So here’s to Lana Del Rey – to her music, her homes, her words, and most importantly, her enduring influence. A toast to the woman who has forever left her mark on the world of music and beyond. A toast to the woman behind the music, behind the homes, behind the words, and behind the name. A toast to Lana Del Rey. | CELEBRITY HOMES

No Doubt

Coachella 2024 lineup includes No Doubt, Lana Del Rey, Doja Cat and Tyler, the Creator

The Coachella 2024 lineup is here.

Michael Juliano

After a year where the Eras Tour dominated both the live music scene and pop culture at large, how do you go about programming a headline-grabbing festival lineup. Specifically, if you’re Coachella , do you return to big-name reunions and living legends? Or double down on pop music? This year, it’s a little bit of both.

No Doubt, Lana Del Rey, Doja Cat and Tyler, the Creator will headline this year’s festival. Coachella will once again stage two weekends of nearly identical lineups in Indio from April 12 to 14 and April 19 to 21, 2024.

As is the case just about every year, a meaningful portion of the tickets up for grabs were claimed during last summer’s presale. Additional passes will go on sale Friday, January 19 at 11am. Including fees, general admission costs between $599 and $649, depending on which tier of tickets you can claim. It’s worth noting that day parking is now only available to people who carpool, so unless you can gather three other friends, you’ll need to pay $719 to $769 for a pass with shuttle access. VIP costs $1,399.

Back to the lineup, the smaller-sized names at Coachella are always just as interesting as—if not more so than—the headliners. This year’s edition includes the likes of J Balvin, Peso Pluma, Ice Spice, Jhené Aiko, Lil Uzi Vert, Justice, Gesaffelstein, Khruangbin, Sabrina Carpenter, Bleachers, Grimes, Jon Batiste and Reneé Rapp. And No Doubt—who haven’t been touring since 2015—aren’t the only ’90s/aughts rock acts on the bill, with sets from Blur, Deftones, Sublime (now with the late Bradley Nowell’s son Jakob as the singer) and Taking Back Sunday.

Coachella 2024 lineup

If you’re trying your hand at tickets, it’s worth pointing out that passes were still available last year just days before the fest— the first time since 2010 that the fest didn’t sell out in advance. (Of course there’s no guarantee that’ll be the case again this year.) But speaking of no sure things, let’s not forget that Frank Ocean only played the first weekend of last year’s fest, with Blink-182 and Four Tet, Fred Again and Skrillex brought in as last-minute replacements for the second weekend—in other words, everything is always subject to change.

So who’s headlining Coachella 2024?

No Doubt, Lana Del Rey, Tyler the Creator, Doja Cat will headline this year’s festival, with additional sets from J Balvin, Peso Pluma, Blur, Ice Spice, Jhené Aiko, Lil Uzi Vert, Justice, Bleachers and more.

And as a reminder, who headlined last year’s festival?

Bad Bunny, BLACKPINK and Frank Ocean initially topped the 2023 lineup, though Blink-182 and Four Tet, Fred Again and Skrillex replaced Ocean during the second weekend. Calvin Harris was also billed with a special “returning to the desert” credit.
