NASHVILLE, TENN.  –  Morgan Wallen  admittedly treats his tours like an athlete approaching a new season, so when the East Tennessean wrapped his wildly successful 55-city Dangerous Tour   on Oct. 8, no one expected he’d come with a line-up of more shows this soon. Yet, the ACM  Milestone Award  Winner and only country artist nominated for  Pollstar ‘s Major Tour of the Year  award revealed this morning he’s not only expanding the size of the venues he’s playing, he’s traveling around the globe to see his fans in 2023!

Morgan Wallen’s   One Night At A Time World Tour , produced by Live Nation in North America and Frontier Touring for Australia/New Zealand, kicks off overseas  March 15-24  with shows in New Zealand and Australia with  HARDY  before returning stateside on  April 15  at Milwaukee’s American Family Field with HARDY, hitting New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium, Chicago’s Wrigley Field and Boston’s Fenway Park with  Parker McCollum , before wrapping on  Oct. 7  at Tacoma Dome in Washington.  ERNEST  and  Bailey Zimmerman  will support across all dates, U.S. and internationally. Thirty-nine dates in total with 17 stadiums, amphitheaters, and arenas to boot.  Tickets on sale at  MorganWallen.com  beginning Friday, Dec. 9.

Wallen named his tour after one of three new songs dropping tonight at midnight on his  One Thing At A Time – Sampler : “One Thing At A Time”; “Tennessee Fan,” paying homage to Wallen’s East Tennessee upbringing; and “Days That End In Why.” Together, these three songs serve as the first taste of what’s to come from his time in the studio and arrive on the heels of his new single at country radio, “ Thought You Should Know ,” cowritten with  Miranda Lambert  and  Nicolle Galyon , currently sitting Top 20 as his latest No. 1 “You Proof” returns to the top of the charts for a rare sixth, non-consecutive weeks atop the Country Airplay chart.

“Man, what a year 2022 has been with the Dangerous Tour. I had the time of my life, and I cannot begin to express how grateful I am that my fans connected with the  Dangerous  album the way they did,” Wallen shares. “I’ve had so many people ask me if I wanted to take some time off; but the truth is – I have been writing and making so much music in my off-time because I feel as inspired as I ever have. It feels like new songs are pouring out of me, and I love that feeling. We are going to run it back next year with the One Night At A Time World Tour. Bigger venues. New countries. Bigger memories. See y’all there.”

As one of the biggest artists in the world with  Dangerous  continuing to notch historical chart status as  Billboard’s  longest running Top 10 album in history for a solo artist  (eclipsing Adele’s  21  and Bruce Springsteen’s  Born In The USA ), the 2022  American Music Awards ‘  Favorite Male Artist  and  Favorite Country Song  winner adds, “Also, I’m not quite done making this new album, so I’m going to keep making it through the holiday break and early January to chase this inspiration. I promise I won’t wait too long to reveal the album details. To hold you over, I’m dropping three new songs today as a sampler of what I’ve been working on. Can’t wait to take it  one night at a time  in 2023.”

Wallen’s 2022 Dangerous Tour spanned over 50 shows and broke records in 30 venues across the country during its 8-month-long run. Highlights include his historic Globe Life Field show, which became the fastest sellout in the venue’s history and surpassed attendance records previously held by artists such as Elton John and Lady Gaga, and holding fastest historical sellouts at 11 venues, while simultaneously breaking attendance records with stops at XFINITY Theatre, AmericanBank Center and Darien Lake Amphitheater.

As on his Dangerous Tour ,  $3 of every ticket sold for U.S. dates benefits the Morgan Wallen Foundation which funds causes close to his heart and, to-date, has supported organizations such as  Greater Good Music  by donating over 500,000 meals-and-counting, to  Children Are People , the  Salvation Army  and  National Museum of African American Music .

There is no official pre-sale in the U.S. for this tour, so fans are advised to only purchase through verified fans. For more information, visit  www.morganwallen.com . Morgan Wallen Fan Club pre-sale for Australia and New Zealand shows begins on Wednesday, Dec. 7.

Morgan Wallen first gained recognition when he completed a stint as a competitor on The Voice in 2014. The Tennessee-born artist continued to refine his sound over the next few years, signing to the indie label Panacea Records and co-writing songs with stars like Jason Aldean. When Wallen’s debut studio album If I Know Me arrived in 2018, everything changed — the album debuted in the Top 10 on the Billboard 200, and propelled him to country stardom. Since then, Wallen’s whiskey-soaked anthems and emotional ballads (including the Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hit “Last Night”) have dominated the charts. Wallen’s multi-platinum second album Dangerous: The Double Album (2021) became the longest-running Top 10 album for a solo artist in Billboard 200 history, and his 2022 Dangerous Tour broke multiple attendance records, selling 839,704 tickets. After releasing his record-breaking third album, 2023’s One Thing at a Time , Wallen embarked on a massive tour, headlining arenas and stadiums.

Venue issues.

The concert was great but the obstructed view situation was difficult! The seat I bought has steps in front of it so we’re were sent over a section that wound up being more side view then we purchased! Why not put the steps to floor in the sections you don’t sell???

Best concert ever!!

Morgan Wallen put on an amazing show and I cannot wait to go back again! The overall atmosphere of the concert was a blast, everyone was having a great time and it was just an overall vibe!

Amazing Show But…

I looked forward to this show for almost two years. Morgan Wallen is a phenomenal performer. He sounds great live and his effects were off the charts. The bracelets are a nice touch and everyone seemed to love them. Now for the downside… he started late. Not crazy late but late nonetheless. He only played for about 1 hour 40 minutes. This was disappointing as there were other songs I would have loved to hear and felt for the cost, we should have gotten a solid 2+ hours. This, in addition to the change in opening acts, was a let down. Merch was crazy expensive (I realize it normally is), but $80 for a hoodie is a little extreme. All in all, I love him as an artist and really enjoyed myself. Just hope he can make some adjustments in the future to appease his fans… especially those who have waited so long to see him.

Great concert

One of the best concerts I've been to, at my favorite place and great performance. I love morgan wallen.

Concert review

Best concert. Morgan Wallen is new King of country…. Five stars on everything! Great venue too.

Best show ever!!!!!

Can’t wait to see him again. Next time I’m going to more shows.

A little boring

Didn't really put on a show. It was a little boring to start. The best part was the bracelet they give you for the light show.

One thing at a time

Fabulous time!!!! Ticket master helped to with keeping tix for almost 2 years

I love Morgan!

He was a great performer and I had an amazing time. I wish the times for the performances were listed because we saw it started at 4pm but didn’t know Morgan wouldn’t perform til 9ish. Overall was a great experience!

Trip number 3

This was my third concert! Yet again was everything I expected and much more! The VIP lounge in Philly was phenomenal and so was the service! Great experience and great concert by the one and only Morgan Wallen!

Its success sparking an in-demand 55-show THE DANGEROUS TOUR in 2022 that kicked off this February and wrapped in early October, with the superstar’s first headlining stadium show at Globe Life Field in Arlington, TX that saw Wallen shattering attendance records previously held by Elton John and Lady Gaga. The east Tennessean’s hit-packed set included “Up Down” (2017), “Whiskey Glasses” (2018), “Chasin’ You” (2019), “More Than My Hometown” (2020), “7 Summers” (2020, named one of  Time Magazine’s  Best Songs of the Year), “Sand In My Boots” (2021), and his crossover “Wasted On You.” Wallen’s first solo release of 2022, the emotional ballad “Don’t Think Jesus,” timed to Good Friday in honor of its redemptive lyrics, earned a Top 10  Billboard  Hot 100 debut and landed atop  Billboard  Hot Country Songs chart making him the first artist to score three No.1 debuts on the chart (based on airplay, streaming and sales) since its inception. Follow up single “You Proof,” released in mid-May, became Wallen’s fastest chart climber to-date, reaching No. 1 after 14 weeks and remaining at No. 1 on  Billboard’s  Country Airplay chart for six non-consecutive weeks. Working outside the traditional Nashville mainframe with producer Joey Moi,  Hits Magazine  notes, “Wallen continually colors outside the lines,” adding, in turn “he’s connected to his fans in ways unprecedented for a country star.” Having already taken home New Artist of the Year in 2020, the CMA New Artist Winner also won AMAs fan-voted Favorite Male Artist and Favorite Country Song at 2022’s awards. The east Tennessee superstar and recent ACM Milestone Award recipient shares,  “Awards are awesome, but my true measure of success is my fans, who this year I got to see every single night out on the road and will continue to do so for many years to come.”  Thanks to nearly 1 million of his fans, $3 for every ticket sold during his 2022  Dangerous Tour  has raised nearly $3 million benefitting the  Morgan Wallen Foundation  which funds causes close to his heart.   ABOUT HARDY Big Loud Records’ heavy hitter HARDY has never been just one thing. Uncaging his next chapter on January 20, 2023, HARDY will introduce  the mockingbird & THE CROW,  his dichotomous, 17-track sophomore album and the follow up to 2020 debut,  A ROCK . HARDY is the reigning ACM  Songwriter of the Year,  2022’s BMI  Country Songwriter of the Year  and a two-time AIMP  Songwriter of the Year . One of CRS’ 2021 New Faces of Country Music and a two-time CMA Triple Play award recipient, the pride of Philadelphia, Miss. has earned his reputation as “a breakout in the making,” ( HITS ) and “a promising purveyor of keeping the spirit of classic heavy Southern rock alive” ( American Songwriter ). HARDY has written 12 No. 1 singles since 2018, including his own double platinum No. 1 single “ONE BEER” feat. Lauren Alaina + Devin Dawson, and chart-topping Dierks Bentley + BRELAND collaboration, “Beers On Me.” He’s previously toured with Thomas Rhett, Wallen, Florida Georgia Line, Jason Aldean, Cole Swindell, and more, and will embark on his own SOLD-OUT headlining  Wall to Wall Tour  this winter, before launching the mockingbird &  THE CROW Tour  in 2023.    ABOUT PARKER MCCOLLUM Singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Parker McCollum released his major label debut album,  Gold Chain Cowboy,  with MCA. The album follows his  Hollywood Gold  EP which was met with widespread critical acclaim and became the top-selling debut Country EP of 2020. McCollum earned his first-ever No. 1 hit with his Platinum-selling premiere single, “Pretty Heart,” and his follow-up single, “To Be Loved By You,” also hit No. 1 on the charts. “To Be Loved By You” was also the highest first week debut album of 2021. In November of 2021, McCollum made his first late-night TV appearance performing on  Jimmy Kimmel Live .   McCollum has been named an ‘Artist to Watch’ by  Rolling Stone, Billboard, SiriusXM, CMT, RIAA,  and more with  American Songwriter  noting, “The Texas native teeters on the edge of next-level superstardom.”  MusicRow  listed McCollum as their 2021 Breakout Artist of the Year and Apple also included him as one of their all-genre “Up Next Artists” Class of 2021. A dedicated road warrior, McCollum made his debut at the famed Grand Ole Opry in 2021 and he already sells out venues across the country (over 40 sold out shows nationwide in 2021) including record-breaking crowds in Dallas (20,000), The Woodlands (16,500), Austin (7500+), Lubbock (7700+), Jackson, MS (5000+), Kearney, NE (3000+), Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, and three nights at Fort Worth’s iconic Billy Bob’s Texas. In March of this year McCollum made his debut at RODEOHOUSTON to a sold-out crowd with over 73,000 tickets sold. McCollum earned his first ACM award for New Male Artist of the Year in March 2022 in Las Vegas.  McCollum also won his first CMT “Breakthrough Video of the Year” award, a fully fan-voted honor, in April 2022.   ABOUT ERNEST  Nashville’s most unpredictable hitmaker ERNEST is “The Charmer” ( MusicRow ), a triple threat talent and one of Music City’s on the rise artist/writers that’s changing the status quo. A 2022  Variety  Hitmaker, the chart-topping songwriter fuses influences ranging from Eminem to George Jones, creating a twist-heavy verse style that’s become his signature, proving its mettle and earning him seven #1 hits to date. The eccentric free spirit and 2022 CMA Triple Play Award winner released his debut full-length album  Flower Shops (The Album)  in March, named one of  Holler  and  The Tennessean ‘s best albums of 2022 and showcasing the more classically country side of his craft. Nashville’s “busiest – and most consistently successful – creative force” ( Tennessean ) just wrapped his first-ever sold-out headlining Sucker For Small Towns Tour, spanning college towns nationwide.   ABOUT BAILEY ZIMMERMAN Establishing himself as one of music’s most exciting new voices, Bailey Zimmerman has arrived at the cusp of superstardom with the 2022 release of his debut EP,  Leave The Light On  – the biggest streaming country debut of all time and the most-streamed all-genre debut of the year. The EP arrived at No. 2 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart and No. 9 on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart, affording the Louisville, Illinois, native to join Zach Bryan and Luke Combs as the only country artists in 2022 to earn more than one million streams on each of a project’s tracks during release week alone. In 2021 the twenty-two-year-old released his very first song. Now, in just one year’s time, Zimmerman touts nearly 1 billion global streams, has earned his first pair of Platinum singles, notched three entries on the Billboard Hot 100, and sold out his first headline tour within minutes of tickets going on-sale.   A young artist with the rasp of a seasoned rocker and the heart of a sensitive songwriter, Zimmerman strikes a sweet spot between timeless American country, rafter-rattling arena rock, and the kind of authentic storytelling that tugs at the heartstrings with a sense of humor and a whole lot of soul. With more new music on the horizon, featuring the grit and gravel of his unmistakably Southern drawl, Zimmerman will continue to showcase the straightforward authenticity for which he is known and loved.   ABOUT LIVE NATION ENTERTAINMENT Live Nation Entertainment (NYSE: LYV) is the world’s leading live entertainment company comprised of global market leaders: Ticketmaster, Live Nation Concerts, and Live Nation Sponsorship. What you should know about Morgan Wallen, the controversial country star playing in Jacksonville

morgan wallen tour 2023 jacksonville fl

Morgan Wallen . Now where have we heard that name?

  • Maybe you saw him in January 2020, opening for Jason Aldean at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena, a show where he spent as much time slapping hands and posing for selfies as he did actually singing his songs.
  • Or maybe you recognize the name from the 2021 incident where Wallen was caught on video using a racial epithet, leading his record company to suspend his contract and radio stations to stop playing his songs.
  • Possibly you remember when he was scheduled to appear as the musical guest on “Saturday Night Live,” but was tossed off the show for violating COVID protocols. (He appeared several months later and poked fun at himself in a sketch.)
  • It could be the show in Mississippi last month that he canceled minutes before he was to take the stage, citing voice problems. There was a lot of speculation after he left 60,000 fans high and dry that his voice may have not been the real issue. He postponed several subsequent shows.
  • Or possibly you recognize the name because you hold a ticket to his sold-out show Thursday in Jacksonville, with Ernest and Bailey Zimmerman opening. It will be Wallen's first show since the postponements.

Clearly, the controversies that surround Wallen aren't slowing down his popularity. Resellers are asking up to $6,427 for a ticket in the pit for his Thursday night show at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena and he's booked for multiple dates this summer at stadiums in Chicago, Detroit, St. Louis, Pittsburgh, San Diego, Phoenix, Columbus and Boston.

So what's this guy all about?

Where is Morgan Wallen from?

Wallen grew up in the Knoxville, Tenn., area, the son of a Baptist pastor, and went to the same high school as Kenny Chesney. He was a contestant on Season 6 of "The Voice" and became a Nashville songwriter, co-writing Jason Aldean's "You Make it Easy," Keith Urban's "Brown Eyes Baby" and A Thousand Horses' "Preachin' to the Choir."

He released his first album, "If I Know Me," in 2018. "Dangerous: The Double Album" followed in '21 and "One Thing at a Time" came out earlier this year.

He was named New Artist of the Year by the Country Music Association in 2020, Billboard Music Awards' Top Country Artist and Top Country Male Artist in 2021 and American Music Awards Favorite Male Country Artist in '22.

What are Morgan Wallen's big hits?

Wallen has had Top 5 hits on the country charts with "Up Down" (featuring Florida-Georgia Line), "Whiskey Glasses," "Chasin' You," "More Than My Hometown," "7 Summers," "Sand in My Boots," "Wasted on You," "You Proof," "Somebody's Problem," "Tennessee Fan," "Thinkin' Bout Me," "Thought You Should Know," "Last Night," "Don't Think Jesus" and "One Thing at a Time."

How can I get tickets for Morgan Wallen's concert in Jacksonville?

The show is sold out. You can check resale sites such as Stubhub , Vivid Seats or Seatgeek , but tickets won't come cheap. The least-expensive tickets were going for more than $450 at last check, and sellers were asking $600 or more for upper-deck seats.

Sometimes promoters will release tickets at the last minute, so it might be worth checking with the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena box office on the day of the show.

Where is Morgan Wallen touring in Florida?

In addition to Thursday's show in Jacksonville, Wallen has shows booked in West Palm Beach on Friday and Tampa on Saturday, but both are sold out. Wallen is booked to headline the Gulf Coast Jam in Panama City Beach on June 3.

Who is touring with Morgan Wallen in Jacksonville?

Ernest and Bailey Zimmerman are opening shows on Wallen's One Night at a Time Tour.

Ernest got his start as a songwriter (Wallen's "More Than My Hometown," Chris Lane's "Big, Big Plans") and has released two albums, "Locals Only" and "Flower Shops." He's been coming onstage during Wallen's set to duet on "Flower Shops" at shows on this tour.

Zimmerman (not to be confused with Bob Dylan's daughter, who shares the same name) just released his first album, "Religiously." His singles "Fall in Love" and "Rock and a Hard Place" made the Top 5 on the country charts.

What time does the Morgan Wallen concert start?

The concert at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 4.

Morgan Wallen Will Take 2023 ‘One Night at a Time’ on a Massive World Tour

  • By Tomás Mier

Morgan Wallen will be chasin’ his fans across the globe next year. On Monday, the controversial country artist added 14 additional shows to his already-massive 2023 tour “due to overwhelming demand,” following the success of his Dangerous album. He also announced a trio of new singles.

“2023 is gonna be a special year… I got a lot in store for y’all and thought we’d start with this,” wrote Wallen on Instagram, teasing the tour and new music. “Ready for y’all to hear what we’ve been working on so I’m dropping a few songs at midnight eastern time tonight.”

The tour seems to be named after one of the new songs he released Friday, “One Thing at a Time,” which he co-wrote with his opener, Ernest . Wallen also dropped “Tennessee Fan” and “Days That End in Why.” The trio of songs follows tracks “You Proof,” “Thought You Should Know,” and “Don’t Think Jesus” released earlier this year.

Wallen added extra dates in Milwaukee, Atlanta, East Rutherford, Pittsburgh, San Diego, Phoenix, Boston, Toronto, and Vancouver.

On select dates, Wallen will present Hardy and Parker McCollum as special guests, while newcomers Ernest and Bailey Zimmerman will open for the singer throughout the tour. “Thank you to Morgan for this opportunity. He could have picked anybody for these shows,” McCollum wrote on Instagram. “Grateful to get to do it. See y’all in 2023!”

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Morgan Wallen’s  'One Night At A Time World Tour'  is making a stop in Jacksonville next year.

Wallen named his tour after one-of-three new songs dropping this week on his One Thing At A Time – Sampler : “One Thing At A Time”; “Tennessee Fan,” paying homage to Wallen’s East Tennessee upbringing; and “Days That End In Why.”

There is no official pre-sale in the U.S. for this tour, so fans are advised to only purchase through verified fans.

For more information, visit www.morganwallen.com . Morgan Wallen Fan Club pre-sale for Australia and New Zealand shows begins on Wednesday, Dec. 7.

Wallen will play Thursday, May 4 at the Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville. You can also catch him in West Palm Beach the following day and then in Tampa on Saturday,

“Man, what a year 2022 has been with the Dangerous Tour . I had the time of my life, and I cannot begin to express how grateful I am that my fans connected with the Dangerous album the way they did,” Wallen shares.

“I’ve had so many people ask me if I wanted to take some time off; but the truth is - I have been writing and making so much music in my off-time because I feel as inspired as I ever have. It feels like new songs are pouring out of me, and I love that feeling. We are going to run it back next year with the One Night At A Time World Tour . Bigger venues. New countries. Bigger memories. See y’all there."

Morgan Wallen Announces 17-Stadium 2023 ‘One Night At A Time’ World Tour Featuring Parker McCollum, Hardy And More

morgan wallen tour 2023 jacksonville fl

Morgan Wallen   is hittin’ the road.

On the heels of his extensive and very successful Dangerous tour, named in honor of his record-smashing 2021 double album , he’s taking things worldwide.

He just announced a 17-stadium 2023 One Night At A Time world tour, which includes two continents, four different countries, and plenty of other amphitheater and festival dates, as well.

And he’s bringing along some of his best friends to open different shows on rotating dates in HARDY and Ernest , as well as Texas boy Parker McCollum   and up-and-comer Bailey Zimmerman.

The tour will kick off overseas on March 15th, with shows in New Zealand and Australia, and they’ll be hitting stadiums like Milwaukee’s American Family Field, MetLife Stadium, Chicago’s Wrigley Field and Boston’s Fenway Park at stops along the way, before wrapping up on October 7th at Tacoma Dome in Washington.

The tour consists of 39 dates in total, and Morgan says he can’t wait to get back out there and play for fans live so soon after he just wrapped up the aforementioned Dangerous tour, and he’s feeling as inspired as ever in terms of new music:

“Man, what a year 2022 has been with the Dangerous Tour. I had the time of my life, and I cannot begin to express how grateful I am that my fans connected with the Dangerous album the way they did.

I’ve had so many people ask me if I wanted to take some time off; but the truth is – I have been writing and making so much music in my off-time because I feel as inspired as I ever have. It feels like new songs are pouring out of me, and I love that feeling.

We are going to run it back next year with the One Night At A Time World Tour. Bigger venues. New countries. Bigger memories. See y’all there.”

You had to know him playing stadiums was coming sooner rather than later, but for Morgan to make the jump so quickly is pretty damn impressive, and I have a feeling tickets won’t last long at all for any of the show dates.

The verified fan presale starts next Wednesday, December 7th.

As on his Dangerous Tour, $3 of every ticket sold for U.S. dates benefits the Morgan Wallen Foundation which has supported organizations such as Children Are People, the Salvation Army and National Museum of African American Music.

Morgan also announced over on his Instagram stories that he’ll be releasing three new songs at midnight tonight, which will give fans a taste of what’s to come on the new album he’s been working on.

The songs include the already fan-favorite homage to his Tennessee Volunteers “Tennessee Fan,” as well as two new ones we’ve never heard before in “One Thing At A Time” and “Days That End In Why.”

Morgan recently scored his fastest-rising #1 hit at country radio with “You Proof,” and has his current single “Thought You Should Know” skyrocketing up the charts too.

Morgan Wallen Announces 2023 World Tour

by Alli Patton December 1, 2022, 10:30 am

Despite having just wrapped his 55-city Dangerous Tour in early October, country star Morgan Wallen is ready for more. This time, on a global scale with the 2023 One Night At a Time World Tour.

Videos by American Songwriter

“Man, what a year 2022 has been with the Dangerous Tour,” the “You Proof” singer said in a statement. “I had the time of my life, and I cannot begin to express how grateful I am that my fans connected with the Dangerous album the way they did.

“I’ve had so many people ask me if I wanted to take some time off; but the truth is – I have been writing and making so much music in my off-time because I feel as inspired as I ever have,” he continued. “It feels like new songs are pouring out of me, and I love that feeling. We are going to run it back next year with the One Night At A Time World Tour. Bigger venues. New countries. Bigger memories. See y’all there.”

His One Night At A Time globe-trotting tour will kick off in the new year with shows in Australia and New Zealand before a lengthy North American leg. He will see support from the likes of HARDY, Parker McCollum, ERNEST, and Bailey Zimmerman along the way.

The tour takes its name from one of three new songs dropping tonight (December 2) at midnight. Wallen’s  One Thing At A Time – Sampler features the tracks “One Thing At a Time,” “Tennessee Fan,” and “Days That End In Why.”

See a full list of upcoming tour dates, below. Tickets go on sale Friday, Dec. 9.

Morgan Wallen Fans Beg for Refunds After Singer Cancels Tour Dates

Morgan Wallen's fans are pleading for refunds and reimbursements after the country singer was forced to pull out of six weeks' worth of tour dates.

The "Last Night" singer informed his fans about his situation in an earnest video posted to Instagram in which he said doctors have told him to rest his voice. Diagnosed with "vocal fold trauma," Wallen said he is postponing the shows for the sake of his career's "longevity."

He's pulling out of his One Night at a Time World Tour, the Academy of Country Music Awards show and upcoming festival appearances. The next gig he will do will be on June 22 at Wrigley Field in Chicago, according to his website.

Newsweek has reached out to Wallen and his representatives via email for further comment.

On social media, many of his fans have shared comments on how expensive the show cancellations will be for them. Besides the price of the ticket, they totaled up the total cost of travel, accommodations and more.

Morgan Wallen country music singer

"Give us the option for a refund," Twitter user Chopper demanded.

"How do we get refunded for tickets we purchased? Supposed to attend the show at Met Life on the 20th but obviously that won't be happening now," another user tweeted in response to Wallen's two-minute video.

"Hey @MorganWallen, either offer refunds for the canceled shows or let people know when these shows are being rescheduled (and not into next yr) there's A LOT of money tied up for some people," a fan wrote.

Some social media users started to tag Ticketmaster on their posts to find out how they can get refunded.

By Wednesday, users shared screenshots of the Ticketmaster site that showed that while the One Night at a Time World Tour performance at New Jersey's MetLife Stadium had been postponed, the tickets were still valid.

Instagram users flooded the comments section of Wallen's video with well-wishes for the singer, although some used the space to explain how the postponements have affected them financially.

One user wrote: "Glad you canceled a concert 24 hours in advance. My sisters graduation and 18th birthday present was riding on TWO THOUSAND dollars in tickets and you can't even nut up refund them?"

The angry user continued, "Some of us can't afford to be almost TWO GRAND in the hole. Major sacrifices were made to have these tickets purchased. Lord...please bless me with $2000."

Many others called on Wallen to cancel the shows rather than postponing them so the ticket companies will issue refunds.

While many fans shared their disappointment, others had some itemized bills for Wallen.

Barstool Sports employee Quigs displayed a bill for Wallen that included costs for a hotel, gas, tickets, his outfit, his wife's outfit and more, which came to a total of $3,982.

Another user's bill included a "new car to drive to concert," gas, weed and food from McDonald's .

. @MorganWallen since you're offering refunds....here is our itemized bill for you. Hotel= $560 Gas(2tanks)= $80 Tickets(4)=$1600 My outfit= $120 Wife’s outfit= $218 Oxford Grillehouse= $235 Cracker Barrell=$40 Los Parrilleros= $45 Rebel Rags (because we wouldn't have had the… https://t.co/GbcRJS86b8 — Quigs (@BigSeanQ_) May 9, 2023

These users and others included their Cash App and Venmo details so Wallen could send them money.

Wallen's video comes after he canceled a show at the last minute last month, leaving some fans upset . He pulled out of the gig in Oxford, Mississippi, because of a problem with his voice, but his apology was slammed by fans on social media.

Morgan Wallen in Nashville: Who's opening, Nissan Stadium weather policy and what to expect ahead of concert run

"the people's artist" of 2023 and the holder of 2023's "song of the summer" is playing on may 2, 3 and 4, 2024 in music city at nissan stadium..

morgan wallen tour 2023 jacksonville fl

There's a solid argument to be made that Sneedville, Tennessee native and Nashville-based Big Loud Records-signed Morgan Wallen is pop music's latest superstar.

2023 saw the "Last Night" vocalist named "The People's Artist" of 2023 by Billboard and the holder of 2023's "Song of The Summer" by Spotify.

Thus, the shows he's playing on May 2, 3, and 4 in Music City at Nissan Stadium are kind of a big deal.

Wallen's been a proven live-event ticket mover in Nashville and elsewhere recently. He sold millions of tickets worldwide in 2023 for his One Night at a Time Tour, sold out Bridgestone Arena for three consecutive nights in March 2022, and released his album with a sold-out pop-up concert in the venue a year later.

Are you headed (or considering heading) to Nissan Stadium to hear Wallen play hits like 16-week all-genre Billboard Hot 100 chart-topper and  Spotify's Song of the Summer  "Last Night," or top 10 country radio hits "Everything I Love" and "Thinkin' Bout Me?"

Need a break? Play the USA TODAY Daily Crossword Puzzle.

Here are a few (of many) things that bear highlighting about the trio of concerts:

What time does Morgan Wallen's concert start?

The gates will open at 4:30 p.m. each day and the show will start at 6:00 p.m. Nissan Stadium officials say parking lots near the stadium will open at 2:30 p.m. each day.

Another big Nashville weekend: Morgan Wallen, an NHL playoffs game and more — how many people to expect downtown

Who else is appearing at Morgan Wallen's concert?

Wallen's team notes that country chart-toppers Bailey Zimmerman, Nate Smith, and Big Loud-signed upstart Lauren Watkins will join as support.

As was recently seen on April 28 at the Stagecoach Festival, Wallen's keen on having collaborators and friends join him onstage during the festivities. Of the potential guests, given their touring schedules, here is what exists currently as their potential for showing up at Nissan Stadium.

  • Eric Church (longtime ally, business partner, confidant, and collaborator on the current radio single "Man Made A Bar"): Plays a date of his 19-date residency at Chief's on May 1, available May 2-4.
  • Drake (appeared in his "You Broke My Heart" video, also seen backstage at his headlining concert with J. Cole and Lil Durk at Bridgestone Arena ): Currently available to appear on all three evenings.
  • ERNEST (collaborator on "Flower Shops" and "Long Live Cowgirls"): Available on May 2, on tour with Brooks and Dunn on May 3-4.
  • HARDY (currently sings "John Deere Green" on just-released Joe Diffie-honoring "Difftape" album, numerous other songwriting features): Currently available to appear on all three evenings.
  • Jelly Roll (Nashville native country and rock chart-topper, no released or teased Wallen collaborations): Currently available to appear on all three evenings.
  • Miranda Lambert (new Republic Records/Big Loud signee, co-writer of his No. 1 hit "Thought You Should Know"): Currently available to appear on all three evenings.
  • Post Malone (currently anticipated to release Wallen collaboration , "I Need Some Help," soon): Currently available to appear on all three evenings

Where to park for the Morgan Wallen concert?

Parking near Nissan Stadium for a weekend event is difficult. A pass must be purchased before the concerts if you hope to park there.

However, other parking options include the following:

  • MTA Parking at 400 Charlotte Avenue (near Woodland St.)
  • Metro Courthouse/Public Square Garage at 101 James Robertson Pkwy (near Woodland St.)
  • 222 Garage at 222 2nd Avenue (near the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge)
  • 333 Garage at 128 4th Ave N (near the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge)

Arriving early is best to avoid parking and traffic issues. More parking options are noted at tennesseetitans.com and nashvilledowntown.com .

Those taking a rideshare can be dropped off and picked up near Nissan Stadium's Lot E.

Expected weather at Nissan Stadium on the day of the show

  • May 2: Sunny, with a high near 89 during the day, with an overcast evening low temperature of 66. A chance for precipitation later in the evening is set at 30 percent.
  • May 3: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 81, with a 60 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 1 p.m. CT. There is a 70 percent chance that showers and thunderstorms will continue through a cloudy evening with a low temperature of around 64.
  • May 4: Partly sunny, with a high near 84 and a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms extending into a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms during an evening with a low of around 63.

Best practices during rainstorms include wearing a raincoat and using plastic sandwich bags to keep your phone and your belongings dry. If lightning strikes near the venue, concerts can be delayed or canceled. Nissan Stadium and the Tennessean's social media will advise regarding potential weather-delay updates.

Last-minute Morgan Wallen in Nashville tickets

Wallen's tickets on second-hand reseller Stubhub are priced between $100-$2000 for each of the three nights, with similar values being reflected on Vivid Seats . Limited all-in pricing tickets are also still available via Ticketmaster .

For every ticket sold for Wallen's American tour dates, $3 will benefit his Morgan Wallen Foundation, which supports sports and music youth programs. Community revitalization efforts for ballparks in local neighborhoods in some touring cities, including Boston and Chicago, plus $500,000 to Habitat For Humanity of Greater Nashville's Parkwood community transformation project, have benefitted from his recent tour success.

Is Morgan Wallen's bar open yet?

However, a sign currently highlights the upper levels of the 107 4th Avenue North location next to Lower Broadway's legendary Ryman Auditorium, where Wallen's multi-level venue is currently being renovated.

Announced in Feb. 2024 , "This Bar" — a partnership with TC Restaurant Group — is slated to open in Summer 2024. Designed and built from the ground up, the six-story venue will be approximately 30,000 square feet and will include three live music stages, six bars, and a rooftop. It will incorporate a "Tennessee Kitchen" element, which Wallen and Chef Tomasz Wosiak will curate. The menu will include southern classics and some of Wallen's mother's recipes.

What about that May 3 court date?

On April 7, 2024, Wallen was arrested after Nashville police said he threw a chair off the rooftop of Eric Church's Chief's on Broadway honky-tonk. Because of that event, he's currently facing three counts of reckless endangerment and one count of disorderly conduct in connection with the incident.

He's scheduled to face a day in court for those charges on May 3, one of the dates of his  three planned concerts at Nashville's Nissan Stadium .

Update: Nashville judge sets new court date for Grammy nominated Morgan Wallen to appear in August

No tour dates have changed at this time, and Wallen is still scheduled to perform in Nashville on May 2-4.
